I'm so glad I finally decided to buy an espresso machine. It's simply amazing.

Now I get to drink a double espresso every morning for less than the cheap coffees from the school's cafeteria.

Today I'm grateful that I actually got out of the house (been in such a funk lately) and enjoyed myself.

I'm grateful for so much right now.

I'm grateful for this new job where I'm surrounded by people I respect and admire, and am respected and appreciated in turn, while doing something I'm passionate about.

For my SO who listens to me and cares about my needs and is handsome and funny and my best friend.

For being in a beautiful home with wood floors and big windows, and space for this lovely garden I'm working on.

For my bff flying out to visit after a few years of separation- she timed it to be on my birthday.

For feeling better after a long depressive spell, enough to be taking better care of myself and enjoying things again.

- that I have $$ stashed so I can take time off or maybe travel to dance.

- that bf's dad felt bad about screwing me over a few weeks ago, and apologized, and is giving me $$ to compensate for making me miss work

- that I have a class starting on Monday so I can feel productive again

- my horse is now 10 mins from me again <3 I miss the big jerk so much when he's at my parents. Glad I found him a place where he's got a nice little pen instead of a stall, and the guy who owns it seems really nice... knock on wood that it works out.

Oh that's so nice to have your honey back and be able to ride! I haven't had horses since I've been in the city, but when I used to work ten shifts a week between three jobs and be stressed out of my mind nothing helped me get back to equilibrium like a curry comb and a clean canter. I think the smell of alfalfa is a cure all for tension headaches :)

Oh my God. My new job is so awesome. The real life catch is, I would have never been hired for it without my 2 plus years of slaving away at two shitty jobs. (& They did an invasive background check. I wasn't even sure they'd hire me.) I am grateful this happened.

I'm also grateful I have been able to stay on the cleaned up diet wagon, my body looks better and I feel better. You are what you eat, so only put awesome attractive things in your mouth.

Today I'm grateful that when my very wealthy best friend cleaned out her closet, she gave me 4 brand new Prada handbags, and a huge array of designer soaps that she collected during her travels all over the world!!

I'm grateful today that a lot of people at my old job were mean to me b/c they knew I used to be a stripper. They showed their true colors. From the lush of a head bartender who acted like she sharted in her pants whenever she saw my nice car (paid for by stripper dollars...) To the fat mean-mugging "HypoChristian" waitress who trembled when I called her out on talking shit. I made the right friends there and shone the light on the cockroachy people I didn't need in my life, ever.

Score for StripperSkills!!! lol

I've finished the end-of-lease clean and am completely unpacked at the new place. We have room to have our dining table set up; first time weve been able to use it in over 2 years! (we had to eat tv dinner style!).
Our beautiful new area rug (3 by 4 metres) arrives tomorrow, our new couch by the end of the month. Family and friends will be able to stay over very comfortably- I'm looking at you OliveJardin!

I got my full deposit back on my old apartment! That's never happened before and I'm so glad. It's 750 and I thought for sure the owners would hate me for moving after only 5 months and I'd get BSed out of a lot of it. And I really downplayed my reasons for moving out but I guess they were able to read between the lines and took pity on me. I didn't go super out of my way to clean the common areas and I left a bunch of the lights blown out and put a couple holes in one of the bedroom walls even. And I got left w/ a ~75 dollar gas bill from that apartment but I know my roommate got left with at least 2x the amount in bills that I would owe him. And for the last 2 months I was living there he said he was changing the wifi password (since I refused to split cable anymore) and Idk what he did because on my phone I needed the new password but on my laptop the old wifi kept working for those two months. Talk about a small ass victory.

Grateful that: I'm alive and well
I'm maintaining a 4.0
My old car is still running
Will go to a new club and be hired for the afternoon/evening shift Monday-Thursday (speaking into existence)
All the money that is coming my way
& most of all, that I'm happy--its been a long time coming for me to learn to be happy with myself by my self and I am thankful

I am thankful for the money I make and not having to work a minimum wage job.

And I am so happy I can finally go to bed and get a good night of sleep after a crazy week end at work. So tired.

That I'm having an accountant look at/submit my taxes... I get nervous that I'll have screwed something up, and I never ever want to deal with the IRS myself.

Also thankful for 3 days off in a row, weeeeee.

I actually dropped my iPhone into my morning cup of coffee, but it survived! It was two days ago so I think if there were going to be any problems, they'd have appeared by now. It was the weirdest thing -- it just slid out of my hand and in to the cup.

So glad it's okay, replacing phones sucks!

^ Wild with Reese Witherspoon. That makes me want to laugh, it's such a "normal" movie... I feel like it should've been some fetish-centric art film instead!

I'm grateful for my hella adorable dog. I got him this rubber ball that you stuff treats in and they're supposed to roll it until they fall out, but bf's dog has been hogging it all night. They're outside, so my pup is rolling it all around with his nose and his paws and just being really cute, actually trying to figure it out. Bf's dog is kind of a big brute and just carries it around and refuses to share, and will probably try to destroy it.

Also for these white chocolate chips I had stashed for baking... they're now dessert.

I'm grateful I'm losing weight quickly. I've looked like a stuffed sausage for the past several months & soon I will be back to my tight looking self. Thank God.

I'm also grateful I am in a parental position to a younger relative now. He gives me true joy & he is why I chose not to have kids...I had a bad feeling I would be helping to raise my half-brother's kids. It happened.

I'm grateful that I found this little gem of a town to live in.
Had to go into the city today to take care of something, and couldn't WAIT to come home!
I always knew how toxic and stressful the city was, but now that I've been away from all of that nonsense, I see the maddening mess that it is.
So, so grateful!

I had a nice day today. It was beautiful out, I went to a self publishing seminar @ my library which was interesting. I ordered a pizza on my way home, saw an egret by a pretty pond, & a sweet brown bunny in the grass. I stopped in a little record store to get the free monthly bar band magazine they have, then got my car washed & got my pizza. I also stood w/the sun hitting my back to ease the muscle aches.

Already got an interview for a teaching job!
I honestly don't think I would take it if something else came along (for a stupid reason... it's a charter school, with a strict dress code... the idea of only wearing royal blue or red every day and long sleeves to cover my tattoos is not appealing) But at least it's an interview, good practice for others, and shows that my resume/letters of rec are good enough!

Today I am grateful for the fact that I got some great financial planning advice for free ( would have paid a ton had I gone to an FA or something), that I have an apartment that I LOVE, that camming helps me pay the rent on it, and also the fact that I am physically fit enough to put in a full day's work on cam.

I'm grateful that I am finally dancing! I've been in this cage of financial anxiety since I moved out for college eight years ago, and I feel so different now that it has all fallen away.

I'm grateful that I took accutane and have perfect skin after years of really bad acne and trying everything. I used to cancel plans and avoid mirrors kind of acne. Another layer of anxiety that is just gone. Poof!

Spring is finally here, and I feel new. I actually teared up about this.

I'm so grateful that one of my best girlfriends made up for my shitty birthday yesterday in which all my so called 'friends' flaked on me (see pissy thread)....
She drove all the way out here from the city and took me to the most amazing and beautiful Persian restaurant for lunch! ( So very "Shahs of Sunset!).To top it off, when we walked in, there were nothing but gorgeous Persian men watching some soccer game on the big screen. They all stopped and greeted us with lots of flirting.
We went into The dining room, which was the most elegant room ever! The food was amazing, the waiter was do handsome (and actually walked us out to the parking lot, so he could flirt and kiss me on the cheek for my bday.
My gfs gave me a really pretty floor length Sun dress, because she knows it's gonna be over 100 degrees out here for the next 6 months.
When I told her what my Shit ass friends did to me yesterday she couldn't believe it, and told me to just ignore them all from now on.
I really love her, and know why we've beenergy friends for so long.
Very grateful for having her in my life.

Today I am grateful for the ladies in this community. You all make my life better.

I am also grateful that a new acrylic technique that I tried on my nails worked. If it hadn't, I would have been down for about 4 hours instead of 1.5, so I have time which I am also grateful for.
