Fuck YES sexy (sexy sexy sexy) firefighter who was perfectly sweet and fun. After a few minutes he said, "just so you know, I'm going to spend all of my money on you," and then he did! I can't believe how lucky I am...

I am forever grateful to Vyanka for helping me out recently. She is an amazing person. If it wasn't for her, I don't know what I would have done, as I had no other help from anyone else. So today I want to express gratitude and love to her! <3 <3 <3

I'm grateful that the girls at my club are warming up to me. I mean, I'm not trying to be everyone's friend, but it's nice to know they think I'm all right. I'm also grateful for two really amazing girls I have gotten to know. They both go to my school, and one of them is a TA like me but in philosophy. Her office is in the same building as mine, one floor below! She's from Iran, and the sweetest, warmest girl. I think she's so badass for dancing.

The roof over my head, the food in my cupboards, the car in my driveway, the resources to cam...pretty much the most important things in life. I find that when I focus on gratitude for these big things, everything else just falls into place

I'm glad that I've been through so many trials in life and took the time to seek mental help, as well as perspective. Everyone thinks this job will ruin me, but it hasn't changed me in any negative ways and I doubt it will. Never thought I'd be thankful for having been raped in the past, but it sure does put things into perspective. When I was first hired my boss said, "You look so innocent. I hope you can stay that way." I said, "Don't worry, I will."

The grade replacement policy for med school *big thumbs up*
I barely scraped a C in both semesters of Physics and Genetics, due to lack of interest/taking too many science classes at once, which looks pretty bad since they're pre-reqs... Glad I can re-take them and have the initial grades wiped out!

Also, *big thumbs up* for summer classes, accelerated classes, online classes... all of which let me get a post-bac and course re-dos done quickly. This would take another 2 years if I had to only do full length Fall and Spring classes.

My haters. I have more now than ever. They're dedicated, foregoing work, relationships, and social lives to sit and stew in hatred. I'm in triple digits, guess that means I'm one amazing bitch :D

I'm grateful that I have the kind of job that allows me to take the extra time I need to catch up on my sleep. Was really tired last night, and went to sleep at 6 p.m. Woke up to the sounds of thunder, with strong lightning, and wouldn't even had been able to use my computer/electricity anyway.
Fell back to sleep for another 8 hours!
F:)eeling so refreshed now!

I'm grateful she's here to cockblock because this time we are taking things slow.

I'm grateful for my wonderful apartment that is keeping nice and warm when it's cold and raining outside.

I'm grateful for a night off.

I'm grateful that I made it back safely from my trip today into the city where I met up with a friend for an art event.
Soooo grateful that I don't miss being living there, with all of its traffic, confusion, crowds, and overpriced...well....Everything!
So grateful that I made the decision to never go back there, because there is not any need to.:)

Great thread! I have so many things to be grateful for I don't even know where to start!

I am so grateful for all the money I have made from dancing including the awesome, respectful customers. I'm grateful I have supportive and non-judgemental friends and family. I'm grateful for having met so many great people so quickly having just moved to London. I'm grateful for all the expensive musical gear and instruments I am always able to afford... and also for my new GHD hair styler that arrived in the post today :D

I'm grateful for my arms, legs, and ears. I had an awesome workout yesterday while listening to stuff like "Eye of the Tiger" and "Uptown Funk." I feel like I'm getting closer to being my old active self, which is wonderful.

Today I'm grateful for..being an airhead! I haven't worked for a few days and I spent a shit load of money on fast food last week (and dolls- don't tell on me), and then the Fios bill comes and says I need to pay the balance this week. I freaked the fuck out cause I didn't have enough to pay it and still eat, and, poof. I remember it's not due until Friday!

Really grateful to work in such a laid back club. The money isn't the best ever, but it's pretty good and so little drama! The girls are mostly nice, they don't fight over regulars, the men are all pretty reliable and honest when it comes to payment, the bouncers are helpful, the managers are super understanding and not creepy, nobody expects me to twerk or do nasty things on stage. It's just... chill.

Three day job customers called in the last two weeks and ashes if it was ok to pre-pay a bit more to get it out of the way. YES... It definitely IS! One was over 1k . I went ahead and just put it towards May earnings. I feel like it gave me a little edge to not have to work so hard this month and was very much needed! I'm grateful for that one ( and the other two smaller ones ).

I am grateful that someone bought a piece of my jewelry (that I made) yesterday! It's one thing to sell something you found, a whole 'nother high to sell something you MADE! Also grateful for my awesome friends and my landlord! She's mailing my keys to me so I don't have to drive 2 hours to get them. Love her!

I'm trying to be grateful for silver linings. Ever since I've turned into a frumpy bag of sad weirdness I keep putting off working until I'm "better." But, umm, the transmission in my car decided to completely die, and now I have to come up with $1500 in a jiffy.

I'm like, "Hmm, if only there were someplace I could go this weekend to get that much money..."

So, hopefully that stupid overpriced torque converter will spur me into working again and getting back on the track I want to be on.

Girl I know the feeling all too well. I recently spent over $1500 to repair my car and this is after the dealership gave me a 'discount'. Hell I'll take a discount any day but it's still a lot of cotdamn money to spend all at once. And I STILL have another $2000 to do in maintenance/repairs.

On the flip side I've had my car for a while without having to pay a monthly car note so I am thankful for that. For an older car it still runs well and looks good. Im hoping I'll be blessed with a second new car in my near future.

I will really miss my shopping sprees once I stop dancing... Had a really good shift yesterday and wanted to reward myself. Went to my fav mall, bought two new VS swim suits and a gorgeous pair of pearl earrings, did not even spend spend an entire day of earnings and still have enough left to put a couple hundreds towards savings . :) It would have cost me a whole week of salary with my previous vanilla job and nothing left to save lol.

Oh my gosh! I was just coming to post here about that too! I'm grateful because I've been needing to go to the club this week but I've been too sick..then started my period today (and the first 2 days are always too horrible for me to dance) and I was like "Shit I just need a couple hundred extra dollars.." Then I've been getting sale after sale on ebay today. I think I already made $200 today....doing nothing but laying in bed. High fives for working from home! The laptop lifestyle is awesome ;)
