I saw this FB thing that this place was having a $10 steak dinner. I hadn't eaten anything so why not right ?
It turned out to be this really cute off the beaten path german pub type place. I must have noticed about 5 attractive dudes right away.
Obviously I'll be going back when I'm in socializing mode and not just starving mode.
I ate alone but entertained myself with brat and sausage jokes in my head. Definitely may have found a new place to be a regular.

A photographer that I was supposed to have a photo shoot with tomorrow morning never confirmed this weekend. He told me he'd confirm by 4pm today. It's 4pm and I never heard from him. I did call him at 10am this morning and left a voicemail about whether we're still on for tomorrow. I'm assuming tomorrow is cancelled. I just checked my burner voicemail and seen that a former reg who moved out of state called me about 10 minutes ago to say he'll be in town tomorrow and ask if I'm available tomorrow. He only comes in to town twice a year now but he's generous so :D

Cleaned and organized the hell out of the kitchen, utility room, and attic today. The living room, bedroom, and bathroom still need some tidying up, but even just having those major areas done makes me feel SO much better in my home. It really needed to be done.

It was also a gorgeous fall day since the first time the weather turned cooler. Hoodie weather, but sunny, and not too cold.

Love Fall!!
I’m at the park now with perfect weather , a coffee, and my pup chasing as many squirrels as he can find. Plus I’m buzzing from my internet date J breaking my long dry with some physical attention a couple days ago.

I went for a walk outside since the weather is sunny and a little warmer than it has been at 56 degrees today. While on my walk I found a $5 bill. I know $5 isn't much but I was grateful for it. It motivated me to walk further than I had planned. Since I hadn't brought any $ with me, thanks to that $5 I was able to walk the extra mile to the store to get a Vitamin Water.

I am also grateful that my relative who was very sick and in ICU made a miraculous recovery today. Just this morning the doctor was concerned that she wasn't able to breathe on her own. An hour ago they were finally able to remove the ventilator and she is breathing on her own and talking up a storm. This has been a major change from being told to come and say goodbye to her to now she may be able to go home by the end of this week.

I'm grateful that a lady I met at my grief group, who also lost her Mom at the same time as I did, turned out to be a very good friend.
I pushed her away at first, because she seemed so square and boring.
However, it turns out she's very easy going, compassionate, generous, and most importantly, has her shit together, and is drama free.
I think both of our Mom's put us together.
So grateful.

I am grateful to finally have the vanity toll-free number of my dreams. It was hard getting this number but it worth every dime. It has been a number not used since the 80s but I loved it since I saw it as an little girl. :)

So grateful that my colorist came over to do my roots. :curlers: grateful that it was cool enough outside for us to sit out n my yard while he did it.
My car is undrivable at the moment, and he lives a couple of towns over.
I'm grateful for being a really good cook. I was able to not only pay him well, but feed him one of my fabulous grilled chicken pasta dishes.
My hair looks amazing!

Grateful that everything turned out to be ok with new guy today. Just a nosy old retired doctor. He gave me a gift bag full of various what looks like brand new Bath and Body Works lotions and shower gels. I thought that was nice.

I'm SO happy I found my hair products that I misplaced..
I'd gone to get my hair done, & that was the day this lady w/a baby was supposed to move in, I wanted my place clean she went somewhere else.
But I couldn't find the stuff..I thought I'd put it in one of my storage rooms but nope.
So tonight, looking in my closet I found everything!

Also, I'm glad I didn't fall off the damn ladder putting up plastic on the outside of my windows that shit's definitely harder to do than it looks & I've done it for years.

Enjoying fall. I’m the weird coworker that loves to talk about the weather. I love the leaves. I love how I can wear a cute sweater and feel comfortable. I love that it’s not cold AF and I can still make money cause the roads are good-winter is coming.

My dog got a good bill of health. She’s 14! Puppy like mother- we both have youthful spirits. I’m gonna spoil her like crazy while I have her.

I’m getting my Sculptra when I’m going. back home for the holidays cheaper. I mean saving $200 is $200 extra in my pocket. I love this product. Any career dancers here-gotta check this stuff out.

I love being a dancer. I dunno I’m kinda an entertainer by nature. I really enjoy making people laugh and smile.

Where do you get Scultura, or it's Dr. office procedure? oh girl I love this stuff. I’ll try to not talk your ear off. You have to go to a doctor or a nurse practitioner. I found a deal this year that was 2 vials for a $1000. Now I found a deal for 2 vials for $1200. It’s suppose to last 2 years. Unlike fillers that just fill in your face, this actually stimulates your body to make your own collagen.

Grateful that one of the grief groups that I go to is in walking distance from my house.
It's always nice to explore the neighborhood on foot.
Grateful that while I was at the group, I noticed that there are amazing views of the mountains everywhere you look.
After group was over, I went out to the open grassy area, and just sat there on a bench and took it all in.
Nature has always been so healing for me, and I'm grateful to live in a place that's full of it.
It's also safe and serene here.

Few things:
-My hair looks soooo much bouncier and fuller since I've trimmed it. Not short, don't worry. Just to my natural waist from down where my ass crack starts-sorry, don't know how else to give you a visual lol. I *think* it's cuz your hair stops growing and thins out a bit when it gets to three feet or so. So, now I'm looking more sexy bitch than wife number four in a polygamous marriage.
2-Recently got hired to work (mostly) from home as the medical consultant for a medical supply company and making what I would as a nurse. I really thought my chances of doing anything in the field were shot because of not being able to lift over a certain amount because of an old injury and my little criminal record. It's a huge weight off my shoulders to know the struggles and misery in nursing school is still able to help me career wise.
3-I got a bunny a month ago :) Not sure if I posted on this earlier; been super busy. She's a Jersey Wooly, she's tiny and soooo fluffy!

I love bunnies!!! I had a bunny when I was a kid. I got when it was a little, teeny, tiny baby bun bun. It was so cute! But when it got older it got mean and would bite me and pee all over the place. And it would chase our shitzu all over the yard. It was a terror. Sooo cute, but still a terror.

Yesterday was the first day since early April that it was cold enough to wear socks, and my bathrobe.
I'm so grateful.
I know that seems seems ridiculous to anyone reading that. But, temps have been over 100 since then.
If I knew this town was going to be a furnace for 6 months, I would have never moved here.
But, I'm grateful for lessons learned.
I know better, so next time I'll DO better, when choosing where to live.

You could also get Life of Brian and made it a double feature?

And I can't talk about rabbits being scary without including this gem:

At least something is perfect. My little side table. It's got 11 gorgeous roses in a vase that I carried back from a business trip from a date I went on there , my himalayan salt lamp, and a stack of quartz pieces I found out in the desert on it. It's beautiful. A good reminder to take beautiful MOMENTS .
I just added a piece of blue calcite to it that I bought a couple days ago.

I wonder if I’ll just stay in the desert for a bit.....
I’m seriously thinking about it.
My biz. trip town is growing on me and I'm here now. It's 18-20 degrees warmer than my main city.
The weather has turned to garbage in my city ( 40s already ).
Anyway.... grateful for the warmer weather whatever length this trip turns out to be.
I have a turn key cheap place to stay ( it's low season here despite the weather being even better than ever ).
I brought extra clothes in case.

Ugh. EDIT THAT. I am just so exhausted ! I may just spa it in my own city ( less research / less hassle ).

In Europe, at this place that's totally a knockoff of Victoria's Secret, called Women Secret. XD

I spent way too much money there, haha. Before I left, I spotted this adorably cute Harry Potter robe & pajama set... omg! Took all my self-control to resist buying everything.
