I am grateful for my work at home job and grocery delivery. I have been sick for the past 3 weeks so they have really hekped.
This for sure, a million times.
I went to Walmart yesterday, because I needed something immediately, and couldn't wait for it to be delivered.
Just being in there, was yikesarama!:yikes:
The crowds, the bright florescent lights, the obnoxious Christmas music.
Ugh. I started having major anxiety as soon as I walked in.
My sister works at Walmart as a cashier ( for the Health benefits), and doesn't have a problem with it.
Honestly, I don't know how she and I are from the same womb.
I WISH I could be the 'ice princess' with no feelings, like she is. Plus, she doesn't have the health problems that I do.
We're so different.
She said that she could never work from home, because it's too isolating.
I'm so grateful.

I'm so grateful for this very healthy body. I'm 41 with a resting heart rate of 39 BPM due to 6 yrs of Spinning. This amazing body has carried me through life in the best way. This healthy body supports me like no other. This vessel has blessed me & I honor it.

Theres this Ramen place in my city that is just so perfect.
I'm going in 75 minutes. Haha. I've been waiting all day.
^ Edit : It was foiled but I'll get there again VERY soon ! It may seem crazy to pay $13 for a bowl of noodles multiple times in a month but they are just SO good.

For saving the pamphlets and such that the Jehova’s Witnesses gave me. I keep them in my purse, and now, whenever a guy makes unwanted advances, I offer them to him and say, “While you’re here, I’m with the Church of Latter Day Saints, and I was wondering if you had a moment to talk about our lord and savior, Jesus Christ?”. Works like a charm!

I'm grateful for nice, kind, patient people, especially when I'm feeling like a pissed off raging bitch on the inside. It's been a rough week, haha.
Also, for everyone who tries to play with my dog when I walk her. She loves meeting people.

Space from the male coworker who I thought would be someone special to me so that I can actually attract the RIGHT person who will be special to me.

Today marks the 22nd anniversary of the day that I almost died. It was Christmas Eve 1996. I was 9 years old and had a bad UTI that had spread to my blood stream and I had developed sepsis. I remember my family trying to get my fever to go down but it kept rising. I remember feeling very tired and weak and not really understanding why I felt that way. I went to the ER with a 106 degree fever. I am grateful for the medical staff that many years ago who were able to do whatever they did to save me so that I could live to see many more Christmas Eves and Christmases.

I'm grateful for my freedom. In a few days, I'm going to a nearby country to visit a friend. Then I'm going to hang out on the beach in January. Just because. I have no one weighing me down, other than my adorable little puppy. :)

Out of all the people who said they wanted to hang out with me on New Year's Eve, they were all m.i.a./unable to get a hold of them. I was thinking I'd be spending New Year's Eve alone until 7:30pm when the guy friend who had disappeared on me because of having a new lady in his life, texted me asking me what I was doing. I guess he had cooked steak dinner, got dressed up all nice, and his new woman had stood him up. I ended up going over there and having dinner with him while watching Twilight Zone marathon. He had made dessert too which after I ate I ended up falling asleep on his couch. I'm glad that I didn't have to sit at home alone.

I'm grateful that I got my period today cuz if it came one day earlier the hot sex I had with this dude I went home with last night after a party would not have happened
And I'm grateful I forced myself to go out last night even though I wasn't feeling like it at all

You never know… apparently, some guys are into that. I remember walking in when the mechanics were talking about getting their red wings, and one of them said something like, “You’re not a man until you’ve swallowed a clot”. At which point I stormed into the break room yelling, “Thanks for ruining my lunch, you goddam motherfucker!”.
Maybe two months later, the same guy’s in the break room talking, again unaware that I’m within earshot. He has a girlfriend? FWB? at this point, and he was talking about how they spent their weekend. “So she took a vibrator and played with her pussy with it. But then she stuck it in my ass, and I didn’t know whether I should’ve tried to enjoy it or punch her out”. I was crying I was laughing so hard.
These guys are lucky I’m the only female employee who goes in there regularly, because they’d seriously end up with their feet held to the fire if some of the other women here overheard the conversations I have.
And I’m grateful the dancer I let couch surf here for a couple days is mindful that not everyone here knows I strip and that I don’t necessarily want them to know. So she tells them that she teaches belly dance (which is true, just not the whole story), and even did a couple little demonstrations for everyone. So now my sister wants to learn how to do it.

It's not so much a cover story... she actually does instruct in it. She went to Naropa University just for that reason, and plans on opening her own studio one day. So, since the pay for being an instructor at someone else's studio isn't fantastic, she strips as an aside, and also to put money away for opening up her own studio.

I'm sooo grateful that my dye job turned out perfect!:curlers:
My colorist was out of town, and I didn't feel like searching for someone new.
So, I just bought the color, and did it myself.
I figured that if I messed up, I wasn't going anywhere anyway.
So grateful that my hair grows like a weed out here. Must be something in the clean air, or water.
I had it trimmed about 6 months ago, and it's already down to my waist.
Grateful that it's very healthy too.;D
This is the color. Amazing that it pulls up this light, because my roots are black. Another thing to be grateful for.

I'm grateful for all of the growth I've made this year. Last January, I was crying and telling my ex-boyfriend, who had just dumped me out of nowhere, that I hated myself. Since then, I've really worked on loving and accepting myself, the way that I am, despite all my flaws or the fact that I'm a sex worker. I'm grateful that I can't imagine feeling that way anymore.

Taking the time off to learn more about myself lately instead of drinking myself into oblivion every day. Oh and for taking time off working! I'm getting close to probably a month off of work. I catch myself sometimes driving to a favorite song on the radio and think "I could so bust out into dancing right now....BUT I want to get paid at the same time for it lol! Too bad I'm not at work." Grateful that despite the sea sponge mishap last night, which resulted in a what looked like somebody was murdered on his bedroom floor, whale still seemed to enjoy himself. I always get terrified of having periods around men because I never know how they're going to react(I have had a man get violently angry with me about it before). I'm lucky that whale was cool about it and wanted me to stay the night and cuddle after I cleaned up the mess, instead of wanting to murder me for real.

I'm grateful for- ok don't laugh at this. I personally don't like Keurig machines but I ended up with a free one. & It's a larger one so it's valuable. I'm keeping it as a backup since our coffeemaker is 3 years old and heavily used. Normally I'd never buy one but it being free...it's ok.
