I am grateful for a loving daughter who drove four hours to pick me up so that I could stay a week-long at her house for a mini vacation. I love her so much. I couldn't be any happier than when I'm with her.

Also, period medicine ( pamperin / midol ). I would have been in agony the last few days without this technology in medicine.

For once, the bank wasn't busy. There was no one standing in line or sitting in the seating area. I went in, took care of business, and got out.

THIS! I also notice most ppl who shop there have healthy BMI. The culture is healthy & the vibe plus products great. I try to surround myself with individuals following similar health philosophies which keeps me on track.

After the car thief and rent increase, we went apartment hunting. Actually found a spacious 2 bed/2 bath place closer to a nice area, for exactly in budget! I am actually really excited about moving now.

I'm grateful to the time bf and I spent this morning. He was especially affectionate. We laid in bed before he went to work. We just held each other and caressed and smooched. It was warm and cozy and comfortable. He's normally not that affectionate. I'm the one that's always seeking him out for hugs and kisses. He normally doesn't show sensitivity. It was really nice.

I went out to lunch with a regular. It was nice because I got to pretend to be important, dressed like a business woman since he wears a dress shirt, dress pants, and dress shoes for work.

OMG , I had day job customers camping out on their invoices FOREVER .
This week I felt like I COULDN'T pull any $ out.

I just looked at paypal just to check *one more time* and two of them paid a bit ! $750 ! Yes. ;)

Now I'm much closer to what I needed for week 3 of the month. This morning had $0 for week 3. This puts me in a position to not have to feel panicked at the club tonight. I'm definitely not canceling my dancer trip - I've got to pull and get a little ahead. Feb. was bad ( $1900 under my monthly goal ).

Oh .... the balance of this damn life, I tell ya. I need to time a consultation to happen where I can be in the car for McDonalds wi-fi half way to my dancer town. Lol.

Came home after the club to find a note on the door. The 'refugees' baked a pie while I was out. They left a slice for me out so I wouldn't have to heat it up.

I'm really happy to have them and my sister here with me. And to think there was a time in the past when I let the downward spiral I was in after the war consume me, and I'd made the decision to end it all. Tried three times, too. Tried drinking myself to the point where I'd gather up the nerve to go through with it, passed out all three times because I'm such a lightweight.

So I'm grateful for pie, my 'refugees', and not being able to handle alcohol for shit.

the English language.

It was my bane for quite some time, and I still haven't mastered it. I'm quite adept at typing it out, I feel that I have an excellent vocabulary, and of course I are has the more better grammar.

But I haven't mastered it in spoken form, unfortunately. Whereas my sister (and also the Amish girl) learned English concurrently, my parents didn't have that consideration when it came to me, so I had to learn it as a second language.

I am really grateful for Turbo Tax. Ever since I started doing taxes by myself at 18 I have been disappointed, first by an accountant referred to me in the industry who messed up my taxes and instead of notifying me when the CRA was communicating with him he would just ignore wtf and tell me about it one year later, I would then be the one who is penalized. Then, I went to H&R Block who charged me astronomical amounts, first $250-$270, then the old woman who was doing my taxes left and I had to go elsewhere, the other H&R Block charged me $450 for one single tax return because I am an independent worker grrr. Not only were they overpriced, but the customer service totally sucks.

This will be my last year in the sex industry and I want to hire an accountant when my taxes become more complicated, but I thought my taxes were pretty straightforward as an independent worker with a real job during the summer and who studies full-time. I wanted to save money and decided to use Turbo Tax after all the great comments on here and I am very impressed. It was so easy to use, I can do my taxes in the comfort of my home without having to deal with ignorant H&R Block workers or talking to anyone and it was so cheap. Also very empowering feeling to be able to do all my taxes by myself :)

Damn, life is good.
King size bed. I am so happy I bought this ridiculous bed. Everyone said it would take too much space / blah / blah / blah but I LOVE IT . My dog is balled up in his little blanket and looks so happy. Sleeping in , making coffee, and getting to chill out for a few hours in a comfy space.
Does it get any better ? I feel so happy in this moment but am getting hungry. ;)

Spent my rare morning off with the apartment to myself to catch up on handling bills. Cancelled some useless subscriptions, switched all payments to my bank account/debit card instead of some that had been stuck on a credit card initially and kept perpetuating the debt. Went through and figured out exact due dates for all recurring monthly bills so I stop "guessing" when I'll need a certain amount of money. Figured out exactly how much I will need to make by the end of April to be fully caught up on everything and set myself a work schedule to make it happen... At least if my tax return hits in the next month, I should be fine going into May. Stressed, tired, and still hustling, but at least not behind anymore. Sitting down with the calendar and figuring out those due dates was really something I needed to do for awhile. I think it will help going forward.

I am sad that I sacrificed my CrunchyRoll account for the sake of saving a few bucks, but I honestly only got the time to watch anything on it maybe for 20 minutes every other month so it's not worth it right now.

I'm grateful for green tea and honey. I've been keeping my calories below 1500 and green tea plus honey along with the 80 ounces of water I drink a day curb my appetite. The caffeine isn't terribly strong either so I can drink a couple cups in the afternoon and sleep well.

Green tea has been pleasant to sip on while camming long hours.

I was feeling a little gloomy today, but my mood perked right up after I did something mean.

So, there's one bathroom at work they had to designate as being a unisex bathroom, solely because of me, and someone went in there today and completely blew it the fuck up. And they clogged the toilet pretty toilet pretty good. So I made this unfortunate discovery, and told the others about it, and, like lemmings running off of a cliff, they all had to see for themselves. And I think I knew who it was because one of the truck drivers looked a bit ashamed after I'd said, "If that came out of a human ass, then someone should really consult both a doctor and exorcist, because that thing had to have come straight from Hell".

Fast forward 20 minutes, and a particularly irritating truck driver walked all the way across the shop from his company's line office, over to the bays on our side, just to ask me if I'd seen their shop's supervisor. So I pointed to the bathroom and said, "Yes, last I saw he was in there. The sink got plugged, and he was looking at it to see if he could fix it without having to call a plumber".

So he walks into the bathroom, the door shuts behind him, and he comes out a few seconds later, drying heaving and yelling out, "GOD DAMMIT!".

It was a glorious victory. I'm grateful for those times when I can act on my sense of cruelty and feel perfectly justified in doing it.

And one more! I'm always grateful to spread a little bit of cheer! :)

Everyone on our side just cracked up when they saw what happened, so all the techs from their side came over to see what the commotion was about, and their reaction was the same, as that particular truck driver isn't particularly popular with them (and even less so with me).

Holy shit! You write eloquently. If you even only speak half as well as you write: you're a fucking Jedi!

Thank you. I can be apt to getting a little tongue-tied when speaking, especially in the immediate aftermath of talking to my sister or the Amish girl (both of whom only speak to me in English when there are solely English-speaking people as part of the conversation), though there can be some dialect issues with the Amish girl, who was speaking more of a High German, whereas we were taught Plautdietsch, which is a low form common to the plains regions, and then of course there are variances in how certain words were incorporated into each community, particularly regarding items/technologies/etc. which came about well after the migration of the Anabaptists to America.

So, between that and just the regional accent of where I grew up, it creates a combination which leaves a lot of people assuming my origins to be foreign, and their guesses as to what that is have included the former Czechoslovakia, Croatia, Hungary, Romania, and Israel. So I like to lead them on and have a little fun with it.

Me: "I come from a very distant and vast place"
Them: "Yeah? Where's that?"
Me: "A place where the northern winds blow and the snow falls relentlessly"
Them" "Uh huh? Where?"

and I'll carry on like that for a little bit and finally say to them..

"Sheboygan, Wisconsin"

I'm not actually from Sheboygan, but it was the nearest "big city" to me, so I use that as a reference point. And when they look confused, I'll add on something like...

"You know.... Wisconsin. We're kind of a big deal when it comes to cheese.... people used to like our football team...."

One guy said to me, "Wait... you're Canadian?", and I'm just thinking to myself, "Well, I know who didn't pay attention in geography class".

I actually know three languages.. I'm fluent in American Sign Language, as well.
