I'm grateful for the nice, warm sunny 70 degree weather. This is the warmest it has been since probably July of last year.

Today I’m grateful to see family members I haven’t seen in over a year. Even if I do have to listen to a lot of political rants I don’t agree with.

The manager I’m working with now seems so much more helpful and better to work with than my last place. Hope things continue like this

I’ve been able to save some money all weekend by cooking at home.

Today I'm grateful for being me, for being in the body I'm in. I wouldn't be able to do what I do if I weren't me, so I'm happy that I don't live a different life.

Grateful for bananas. I've been eating one before bed every night for 4 days to eliminate night eating. It's working!

Bananas are full of magnesium too which helps you relax so it's a great bedtime snack

The neighbor and I held a joint yard sale today... we were both doing spring cleaning, so we figured, why not pool our resources? And everything I put out there sold! Even my old service cart from Harbor Freight, which I thought I'd never get rid of.

U know I wanted that cart, COB!:)

I am grateful that I was able to leave the previous work environment one of the reasons was I had unhealthy attachment to one of my male coworkers were he was able to keep me emotionally attached to him and I knew the only way I’d break that was by either leaving that department or leaving the company.

I do think about him sometimes and wished things would have worked out but it really was not healthy and being around guys who have more to offer me have allowed me to see clearly how much I got attached to someone that was not providing me what I needed.

I’m grateful for the learning experience and that I was able to come out of that fairly unscathed

I won 10 bucks on a lottery ticket and bought a bottle of white wine with it. Last time I had white wine I noticed it gave me a nice buzz and no hangover. I find I get a hangover so easily now even if I drink a tiny bit, maybe cuz I usually drink the really sugary alcoholic drinks

I tried Mike's Hard Margaritas for the first time this weekend. OMG!!!, soooo frickin good!!! Smooth with no alcohol taste, it's just like drinking a soda.

Yes, they can have a boomerang effect. Believe it or not, I only had 3 the entire weekend and I drank them with lots of ice in a cup, so they were a little water down and nursed them over about hour. Still very good!

One of my gays dropped off toilet paper, baby wipes, Gatorade, bottled water, Vernor's, saltine crackers, and 2 cans of soup. I didn't even ask him to. He knew that I was sick though so he figured I'd need it.

I’m feeling super duper grateful this weekend, because I got a check for $2000 from a class action suit against my old club! I know those lawsuits can be a controversial topic on here but I didn’t start the suit, I got a letter in the mail inviting me to add my name to it. Also I am pretty much done with dancing and even if I fell on hard times and had to go back I already made my mind up long ago that I’d never set foot in that particular club again. So it would have been silly to leave money on the table. It couldn’t have come in the mail at a better time either!

Pretty tulip flowers from my daughter and junk food from Shake Shack. It was the first time that my daughter and I ever ate food from there. I was feeling adventurous and decided to try the Dragonglass shake and 'shroom burger(portabello mushroom burger). They were both good and even my daughter liked the burger. In fact she had no interest in the shake and asked for another burger! I know fast food is so unhealthy but I'm grateful for it today because I already had cooked a big breakfast from scratch today and dirtied up a mountain of dishes in the process. I didn't want to dirty up more so this was convenient and yummy.

So, my friend is a single mother... had her child when she was 18, the sperm donor of course was a deadbeat, so she's been at it on her own for the last nine years. And nobody had ever done anything for her for Mother's Day, so I decided to take it upon myself to do that this year, and I figured I could kill two birds with one stone... we went to a restaurant that my sister and oldest 'refugee' are lukewarm on (the Amish girl has never been, but I kinda doubt it would be her thing), but which the youngest 'refugee' absolutely loves (in no small part because she has a very high metabolism like I do, so she can go there without feeling guilty), so I brought her, as well, and ordered take out for the others, who stayed behind to watch my friend’s daughter (especially since she loves my sister to death).

As we were sitting at the table between the main course and dessert, the 'refugee' reaches into her purse, pulls out some things, and hands them to me. She'd gotten me a Mother's Day gift! But I think the real gift was the conversation which ensued.

Me: "That's really sweet, but I feel kinda weird about getting a Mother's Day gift"
Her: "Well, you're like our prison mom"
Me: "Wait... prison?!"
Her: "No, you just have that whole thing going on... you've got (lists a role for everyone in the house as she believes it would related to prison life)... and [the Amish girl] as your 'prison wife'"
Me: "Wait... WHAT?!"
Her: "Not like that.... like...."
Me: "In that case, you'd better start pumping some iron in the yard. You need to be able to flex when it's time to put in work. And be grateful I'm not selling your ass for cigarettes"
(her and I laugh, my friend's looking kinda amused and bewildered, since she's never really witnessed our conversations before)
Me: "Ahh, you must've been watching Orange Is the New Black. I think I might have to revoke your Netflix privileges"

At this point I realize the people at the table next to us heard the whole thing, and are looking us kinda confusedly. It's a woman.. probably In her mid-30s and who I'm assuming is her own mother.

Me (to them): "I'm thinking about putting this one up for adoption. You want her? She’s well-behaved, and if she does get out of line, all you have to do to correct it is lock her in a closet for a day or two”
Her (also to them): “I’ll be a good girl, I promise. I don’t want to be locked in there with the spiders anymore”

Good times. When she picks up and goes her own way - which she will, as she’s very independently minded - I’ll be happy for her, but I know I’ll be devastated and miss her horribly. I don’t know if I’ll be willing to take anyone else in after, but I’m putting the cart before the horse. There’s the here and the now in the meantime.

I honestly couldn't have asked for more in terms of better lovers to entertain me . I want a long term thing .... still very much first priority. But these awesome men ..... damn. I sure know how to pick them. This is 2019 I'm talking about ( J the kinkster , Mr. Tall best oral EVER , and B all around great lover ) . Late 2018 was not a success . It's funny, I felt like my life just sucked so bad late 2018 and then BOOM 2019 ...... so much deliciousness and back to back with no bad or selfish lovers in there at all.
^ Oh , actually I forgot about the Ginger. He kind of sucked sexually , lets just leave him off the list and it's perfect. Ha.

I do miss all three of them at different times and think about each of them. I'm still hoping for the relationship energy to come together with B.

I love that B didn't freak out on the dancing thing. ;)
I know he is curious because of a couple things he's asked about but I've never invited anyone to the club that I see and don't plan to. I've even shared details about my western USA tour routes and he thought it was awesome to make money along the way. I agree ! Ha.

I TRUST him. I asked for complete discretion ( my good friends and family don't know ) and he understood the request / the reasoning also .
He was relieved my sex work is 100% discrete because if I meet his parents they are " old fashioned ".

This morn, I was mopping (cheap dolla store mop) & it fell apart lol. Luckily, the one clean guy that's gone left a string mop.
So sick of cleaning, I really just sweep/mop but that's enough.

Had a LEEP yesterday to remove high grade level precancerous growth from my cervix. I had read horror stories online beforehand of women being traumatized by the procedure so I was a little wary. But I feel amazing today! I was having pain down there for months and now it’s gone. So grateful I got checked out and caught it before it turned into full on cancer.

One of my fbsm regs took me to lunch(he gets that privilege with me since he's always nice, respectful, and old as dirt). It was nice having an expensive meal at this restaurant that I probably wouldn't have otherwise went to. I'm sure he enjoyed being seen with a woman almost 50 years younger than him too, lol.

Grateful my employer let me borrow a van. I had intended to pick them up by myself, but everyone wanted to be here at the airport when they arrive. Which, I’m grateful for that, too, I just hope it’s not overwhelming for them, especially as they don’t yet know some of the ones living here are ‘English’.
