Had an offer for free entree and one of my fav casual Asian diners (the staff is super friendly and they always remember me n say hello).

Had another offer for free frozen yogurt

And tackled my fear of heights

WAY TO FUCKIN GO!!!

I'm grateful for The Fox and Hound. They have tasty appetizers, ping pong, and darts. I played darts during one of my breaks, enjoyed a glass of wine, plus had scrumptious pretzel bites. I'm happy.

Was super reluctant to renew the lease here but since that’s my only option rn I’m glad they at least offered at $200 off (some unadvertised deal) and the staff was uncharacteristically nice

YES! SM approved my couples account in time for Sunday. I don't want my man's face on cam, just want the ability to upload videos of us or sell block sessions with the "and it'll be with a real cock" bonus. It took just a little bit of pleading for him to say okay so I'm really happy I can do this.

Super grateful for this Harman Kardon Bluetooth speaker. Sound quality killer. I listen to music during cam shifts & hearing it crisp, clear, & bassy is rad.

Grateful for eating at Taco Bells yesterday. Also grateful for my manicure, pedicure and eyebrow wax that I got done. May I also add that the lady who did my eyebrows did a awesome job. Totally pleased.

Consulted with lawyers in North Carolina and Alabama today. Much to my relief, they both looked over everything and assured me that the woman who threatened to sue me for custody of my ‘refugee’ if I didn’t turn her over doesn’t have a pot to piss in as far as a legal case goes.

This lady shows up out of nowhere with a friendly facade, and my ‘refugee’ went from not recognizing her to being very visibly less than thrilled upon realizing who she was. Anyhow, at the end of our exchange, I asked her if she wanted to live with this aunt, and she was very adamant that she did not, the aunt is a religious fanatic, and it would not go well at all. Well, if that’s her disposition, then absolutely I’ll fight for her. My ‘refugee’ doesn’t want to see her again, so once I’d heard back from the lawyers, I called the aunt and told her I was going to decline her request and that she wasn’t to come to my house again without first contacting me and obtaining my permission. And she went off on this diatribe, which I just hung up on her.

...grateful my neighbors gifted me some free items since they are transferring away from here. I'm sad I didn't get to know them better but I did wish them good luck on their journey. (They're military.)

Grateful I was able to turn my mood around this morning. Last night was an epic lightning storm (I videoed it on my phone, I might put it on YouTube.) I'm going to pick and dry sage today. I can tell people the sage was picked right after that storm. (It's for smudging ceremonies.)

Grateful for magnesia phosphorica. I had a terrible anxiety attack out of nowhere while on the way to the bank. My heart was racing and I felt like I couldn't breathe. All I could think about was that I needed to deposit before something bad happened. Anxiety causes people to picture the worst case scenarios and I was picturing me fainting at the bank, EMS showing up with LE while I was unconscious and needing to find my i.d., them coming across that wad of cash, and confiscating it. I did my best to pretend like everything was fine while I stood there, pouring sweat and feeling like I was going to die. Luckily there's a Vitamin Shoppe right next to the bank so I walked into there, picked up a tube of magnesia phosphorica pellets, put 5 under my tongue, and waited for them to dissolve. Within minutes the racing heart and breathless feeling ceased. That stuff is like little miracle workers.

Traveling for work alone is approximately 1 million times better than traveling with a group. No deciding to meet at say 7pm for dinner, then having someone finally show up at 7:10 and having the second person grace us with his presence at 7:30. Just do my own thing...picked up a lovely meal, ate in my room like a hermit watching Netflix. I miss my puppy but someone is staying the night with him and mommy could use a night off.

^ Ohhhh yesssss

I charge the craziest premiums if I have to do group travel ( and I travel a lot for work ).
It's EXHAUSTING . I'm so glad to hear you are doing it the right way !
Everyone pretty much knows to find me just text me since I'm at a hotel in the city somewhere ( location undisclosed ).

3 hours from now you'll be missing the inappropriate flirting or someone having a drunken melt down ! Then you can babysit too in addition to packing all your shit and doing your job. Lol.

I'm grateful for B.
I've gone some rounds on this site complaining but he has also : texted me every day for a month ( every day when he's been out of the country ) , been a good companion early March - early May when he was here ( yes, sexy times included ) , and the latest is keeping me sexually satisfied ( oddly ) via these late night text interactions . He was very emotionally yesterday when I was having a down day. I do get mad at him sometimes when he isn't organized ....... but also I enjoy his companionship even if it's currently texting and face time due to the distance.

Grateful I make enough money to afford good clean food. I was reading about the benefits of asparagus, power greens, avocado, and salmon. Man, it's no wonder I'm so healthy. These are staples of my daily diet. So super grateful I can afford good food, as I certainly can't afford seeing the Dr regularly.

Decided to forego a night of stripping to take my friend out for a ladies night out, with a group of women mostly from Anabaptist backgrounds themselves (Mennonite, Amish, Hutterite, River Brethren, Apostolic, and Schwarzenau Brethren). My sister and my ‘refugee’ (who my friend’s oldest seems to be particularly fond of, in spite of their communication difficulties) agreed to watch her children, and I think it really did my friend a lot of good to just be able to go out, let her hair down, and enjoy a night out with people.

I asked him to take out the garbage (nearly overflowing>:( the other roomie's mess)
& he not only did that, but took the large bins down by the driveway for tomorrow's early pick up!

Yeah, roommates are either a blessing or a curse. I miss my first two especially, but hate that I still worry about the one, because he’s sort of a lunatic. A mostly well-meaning one, but still.

I remember once when we had a long weekend, and he was trying to explain Caribbean food to me, so he did a Google search for roti and started reading about a restaurant in Miami which served it and had rave reviews. So he said, “fuck it, let’s go”, and just like that, we drove to Miami. Of course we found things to do beyond eating at a roti restaurant, but it was so spontaneous, and that made it all so much better. I miss that especially.

I'm grateful my legs function well. I live on the 3rd floor where it's super quiet & walk the stairs daily. It's so easy I forget how fortunate I am.

A good friend relies on a wheel chair 90% of the time. He'd give anything to walk normally.

Man, really grateful.

Spontaneous...….that sounded like it was sooooo fun!!!!!

It was. He was definitely the most fun roommate I had, but sometimes a bit troublesome. When he got an idea in his head, he doubled down on it. That wasn’t always for the best.

But I appreciated it the most after I was wounded in Afghanistan and transferred to a Stateside hospital. As soon as he found out, he and my other roommate packed a bag and just took off and drove nonstop to be there, and he called in to his work and told them, “put me on PTO or fire me, but I’m doing this”. He drove straight through for over 20 hours. And I worry now because I think he’s feeling depressed with the fallout between him and his ex- (the one I told him, “I hope you don’t end up putting a ring on her”), and I just really want him to have good things in his life.

On that note, I’m grateful I can never feel bad for being a dork after getting to know him, and ESPECIALLY after the Tinder conversation he showed me the other day. Keep in mind, he's not exactly 'suave'.

So instead of "hello", or whatever, he asks her if she likes empanadas. And you could tell by her response she was skeptical because she asked him where he was going with that.

Being an even bigger dork than I am, he's like, "Well, to an empanada place, I think. I haven't had them in a while, and I've had empanadas on the brain lately, so I got to thinking that perhaps you might ought to could join me for empanadas"

And when she questioned the "might ought to could" part, his reply was, "I grew up in the sticks in Mississippi, so I got exposed to a lot of swamp gas, and it makes it a little difficult for me to find the more better grammar sometimes".

And the conversation carried on, and I swear I was on the verge of peeing myself, I was laughing so hard. BUT SHE AGREED!

And I'm gonna take a little credit here, because he did what I was expecting him to do and stopped getting on it, and I badgered him to just shut the fuck up and get on it, because he'd gotten right swipes, but he didn't know who since he didn't get any of the paid subscriptions.

Grateful I didn't really gain any weight despite binging on light beer and ice cream plus skipping workouts due to feeling tired.

Grateful I had a weird/positive experience today- someone posted an eviction cleanout a couple miles from me so I went to see what was available. Turned out it was a house I rented years ago! It was a tiny bit surreal and I couldn't go nose around the house b/c a lot of other people showed up. I think they were happy to see me b/c most people get self-conscious about picking through someone else's discarded possessions. OTOH why pass up a good deal?

Grateful for a sports bar literally right around the corner from my apartment. They have a ping pong table and yummy fried pickles. Scott, super nice fella, and I played ping pong and pigged out for a few hours.

It's really nice we don't have to travel far for ping pong. Not many establishments have tables, and this place has a really good quality one with super good quality balls.

Gulp.
This thing just happened. A day job customer was doing payments of $500 a month for four months ( half is for me and half goes to team members who work with me ).
I just logged onto paypal and they are paid. All four. 2k
It's funny because I must just be starving for cash ( in general ) lately because it feels like a windfall.
Half of it is my earnings and I need to remember not to touch the other half because I still have to pay people out in September with the other half. I *should* probably put that other half onto credit cards though ( to knock some interest down in the meantime until I need it in Sept ).

Yes ! Pulled it out. ;)
No club for me for 7-8 days now ( I wasn't able to anyway with the day job schedule ). This little win will keep me from stressing out about missing club money over the weekend / fomo. I'll rest up.
