Confidence to overcome my fears. Sometimes I get in my head too much but another voice says 'power through' and when I do, I see the benefit

Amazing weather the past 3 days.
I’ve barely had to use my air conditioner

I feel so out of touch with my friends sometimes. They’re excited about deals they found on clothes, handbags, and whatnot, yet I’m giddy because I scored a really good deal on a Sunex wrench set that goes from 1-5/16” to 2”.
All the same, it was a really good deal. And there may be more to come. We had a mechanic just retire and he’s selling everything quite cheap, and he’s giving me first pick. I should probably buy a pair of shoes so I’ll have something to talk about with my friends, though.

My blood test results came back already this morning. My hcg levels are within a range that correlates with what week of pregnancy I am in. That gives me some relief that they are at least at a good level.

SUPER grateful for Benadryl. Took it at 7pm & at 7:44 I was fast asleep then got 10 hrs rest! Dude, I felt so good this AM: did yoga for an hr, dyed my hair, & cooked a slam in clean high protein meal.
Dude, sleep like that makes me happy.

I’m grateful I have a job that pays my bills and allows me to live comfortably. I’m grateful to have time off work. Super grateful it’s summer, but it’s pretty mild.

NICE! I take generic B, alo lately I haven't had to! Go figure, I'm on a wooded lot/area

Love mild. I can't take hot weather, I have a/c, but damn this place heats.the.f.up.
Grateful for everything! :)

Sounds good.
The Benadryl doesn't make you drowsy in the morning?
Because I take 3 mg only of melatonin. Not only does it make me drowsy. But, I wake up with a headache.
I'm grateful that I scored 4 passes for a screening of the movie " Annabelle Comes Home". I love horror movies!
Has anyone seen the first 2 ? I think?
I'm going to see if they're available on my ROKU.
I'm grateful that my 2 favorite friends are available to come with me.

^^A little slow in the AM. Takes an extra 30 min to wake, but the quality of sleep is so good.
Oh, I. can't even do scary LOL

Oh, ok. Thanks for letting me know. I guess I'll stick with my melatonin.
I'm grateful for ac too. It was 114 degrees here last week.
Thankful that it now has dropped to 104. Grateful that I was able to put the top down on my convertible and go for a late afternoon drive. Burns off all the toxic masculinity that I deal with on cam. Nothing better than blasting great music, with the wind blowing through my hair. :meditate:
Thankful that my body is now loving the hot weather. :sun:
This past winter was colder than my old body can take. Lol!
Grateful for my trusty Arctic Air that keep my ac bill down.

My friend has support. I feel like things will be alright, and she’ll make it through this transition. When you’ve only ever known one way of life - especially when you’ve committed yourself to it - dropping it and starting anew is incredibly difficult. My friends have been spending time with her, and the oldest of my two ‘refugees’ is going to rent a place with her, which will help offset the cost.

One of my friends joined me at the laundromat and I ended up getting my laundry done, even though I didn't feel like doing it. It's done. Woohoo! That's one less annoying chore.

I'm at a sweet spot in this day job trip. The horrible drive is over. The largest job I'm here for just wrapped yesterday. I'm off today and I think I will try the massage school in town and maybe a beauty school ( either hair or nails ) for some cheap TLC .

Woohoo is right!
I did 3 loads last night.
There's no ac in our community laundry room. It was 104 outside, so I'm pretty sure it had to be 130 or more degrees in there.
Feels so good to be able to check that off the list.

My depression is much better after doing Lisa Ramano’s breakthrough program. It was much needed after surviving narcissistic abuse-fuck they say what doesn’t kill you makes you stronger. I’m so grateful just to be alive. Life is beautiful when I don’t have to wear trauma glasses all the time.

Grateful my boyfriend is in good spirits despite work stress and whatnot.

Warning: Graphic post ahead.
I went to drop off some clothes that are desperately needed at the local church.
It was during the food distribution time of their food bank.
The room was packed with people, who looked so sad and down trodden. Who wouldn't be? I was there once too.
I needed to pee, but when I walked in, it stunk so bad. There was an elderly woman who was shitting all over the place. I guess she couldn't make it in time.
She was mubling no bathroom. No bathroom. Which I interpreted as she didn't have a bathroom where she stays.
I then went to Trader Joe's. I kept thinking how grateful I am to be able to buy whatever I want.
I don't know if I'll ever be wealthy enough to help the homeless.
It's been my dream to get them off the streets and have a place to live.
Bill Gates has not 1, but FIVE houses in a country club right down the street from this church.
Oh, the irony.

I'm grateful there are so many Bartholin's cysts threads on this forum, I have one now and am reading up on them.
Also grateful I have medical insurance right now in case it gets really bad. (Apparently the majority of Bartholin cyst cases can be treated at home. But just in case....)

We have AC! And went to IKEA yesterday and got almost everything else we needed.
Found an amazing, huge entertainment center for only $149! The mini fridge cost more than that did lol
I’m excited to spend the day unpacking in the nice cool air.

....Grateful for an uplifting event- a friend of mine from high school found me on social media. I had sent a message to him many months ago & he didn't respond. I honestly had some resentful thoughts and accepted that he didn't want to talk to me for whatever reason.
But he messaged & I'm looking forward to catching up. Our friend in common passed away (the anniversary of that is coming up) so it's sweet to get a little piece of the past back....All things considered.

My dog is such an energetic nut, I put up a post on a local neighborhood forum asking people if I could pay to borrow their backyards. I got a couple very kind offers to use people's yard for free but also someone told me about a fenced in area at a local farm and we went there tonight for the first time, and it was a total success! I was a little nervous at first to let him off leash still but it was ok. The door does not latch, the space is meant to be a bird garden, but I made sure to still watch him and make sure he didn't go near it. And he was sooo happy. And mom got a night off from an hour long walk. Now we are about to go pick up my Thai food and settle in for a lazy night.

Finally got my first phone call from my friend in prison today. He's doing well and sounded in good spirits.
I also went grocery shopping with some extra money from my parents. We've been eating really lean to save money, so I splurged on alcohol and muffins. Doesn't sound that exciting, but I'm thrilled lol

Grateful for a very generous barista at Starbucks.
He gave my galpal and me free drinks and food of our choosing!
We had just been to a corporate Meetup, in which the moderator never even showed up for! It was over 105 degrees, and this douchebag led us on a wild goose chase.
Anyhoo, he felt so bad for us.
Grateful generous and compassionate people exist in the world.
Plus, I live for Starbucks. That place has been my 'jam' for many years now.
