Grateful for a very kind cashier at the dollar store.
He was so good natured. He even left his post to help me put my bags in my car.:) ( They now have those poles on the carts that prevent you from bringing them outside.)
I've been feeling down about men lately. Especially after attending my Tuesday night grief group, where all the wives brag about their perfect husbands)
Add to that, dealing with mentally unstable men all day on cam.
His momma definitely raised him right.51530

I am thankful I gave up carbonated beverages weeks ago. I was having digestive issues and was feeling nervous about my health. Now that I gave it up I feel so so much better. I am so happy and grateful for that.

I had my first ultrasound today. I was relieved to see that baby did implant in the uterus instead of the tubes or elsewhere and his or her little heart is beating strong.

Two things: really grateful the guy delivering my Amazon merchandise delivered it to my apt door. Last guy left it in the mail room where anyone could have taken it. Plus the guy who delivered it was deaf and was super nice. I said "thank you" in sign language then gave him a high five. His smile, legit, made me light up so fuckin bright. It was the best energy exchange ever.
Also grateful I have sight. All these pictures my daughter sends me of my granddaughter just couldn't be enjoyed if I was blind.
Thank you Universe.

I'm not sure about the veg burgers, but Dr Praeger's has great stuff, I believe WM carries them..
I saw a liquid health shot drink in there too, by the produce.

Grateful for surviving Walmart.
Went in for some hair dye and coffee. ( My life in 2 words) lol!
I even used the self checkout, which went swimmingly.:)
*I've gone down the rabbit hole lately, by watching all the conspiracy videos on YouTube about Walmart.
Has anyone else seen them?
Pretty trippy stuff.
* I couldn't help but notice that the 2 Walmarts we have here, are next to a wash, and a railroad track. Dum dum dum....51536

I love self checkout which equals no human interaction.
I love the 'idea' of them.
But, it never fails. Everytime I have used them in the past, there's always been at least 1 item that needed an attendant to help with the scanning.
You know, the attendant that's always ' hovering' close by? The one that wants to make conversation, even though I just want to get outta there? Ugh!
So, yes,, thankful that I wasn't bothered by any humans that day.

Grateful that my new replacement Handicap parking placard goes in my car today.
That thing has been a godsend.
There were more than a few occasions when there were no parking spaces, except the handicap spot, at a customer's condo.
Not going to walk a block in 5 inch heels, with a bad back.
Grateful that my favorite barista at Starbucks gave me a free drink again yesterday.
Grateful that I'm invited to not 1, but 2 parties today. Both are at really cool, spiritual, and really wealthy friend's homes.:)
After the long, never ending cam week I've had, competing in a contest, it will be a relief to be with 'Real' people again. Lol!

Grateful for the wedding gift money from my parents. I was able to pay off my Amazon Visa card, which is a huge weight off my shoulders.
Also grateful that a good friend moved back to the area and I got to see her, her husband, and their kids (who really like me) today. She'll ultimately be about 2 hours away, so it's not like we can get together all the time, but we'll definitely be more in touch again.

I know I just bitched about my SO in the "nag" thread, but I am grateful for him and his hard work. He's out Ubering right now while I'm relaxing tonight, because I worked so hard at it the rest of the weekend. He's working OT on the 4th of July, even though he has to wake up super early to go to the hellhole job that we both despise. He put together all the IKEA furniture, does the dishes and laundry usually a little more than half the time, and is a very active parent when his kids are here so it's not like he hoists all household responsibilities onto me while I'm carrying most of the financial responsibility. While I do wish he'd be a little more proactive about money sometimes, rather than being reactive out of sudden realization that he has no money to pay for something critical, he is getting better and I can tell. I'm grateful for his ability to try to change his habits, even if it's slow-going.

I'm spending some time in the forest with new dude.
I was edgy when I came up and feel better already . Cuddle marathon this morning. Made him breakfast. He wandered to a lake. Then went to town and puttered around . He took me to a cute diner for lunch. Then a snuggle / nap before he left. He saw me without makeup today but I don't think he will run ( further ) into the hills. Haha.
We want to capture video footage of a moose so went and found a track and he put a motion camera up there.
Of course that means I am tempted to go there tomorrow , find the camera, and flash it.

I’m grateful my client responded to my texts. I think she will accept the ACH so that she can benefit and continue to work with me.
I’m also grateful my prospective client agreed to a follow up meeting. I’m confident he will outline any concerns he has, be satisfied with what I offer him and agree to work with me.
And I’ll have to break some bad news to my other client but I am confident here as well that she will consider my recommendations and continue working with me.
anyways I suppose I am grateful for the positive future outcomes of these situations

Where I now live, having AC is a HUGE thing to be grateful about.
I was at one of my grief groups yesterday. Because it was held after hours, there wasn't any AC in the room! OMG!
110 degrees and no ac?
GTFO!
I came home dripping wet! Jumped in the shower, then cranked all 3 of my window units, and 2 of my Arctic Airs.
Aah!
It's annoying how lots of businesses ( and all the people I've met), never put their ac on. All to save money. Even though it's 115-125 degrees for 4 months.
Ridiculous.

I've learned from a similar close shave- squatting deeply and bearing down, plus pinching can dislodge a stuck sponge.

I'm grateful for a shitty, embarrassing thing that happened. YEAH you read that right.
Months ago I tried friending someone in an ex's social circle via Facebook. The reaction I got was......extreme. It seemed that this whole group of people assumed I was trying to start drama when in reality I just had a lot in common with one of these people (motorcycle culture, art, etc.) …..Anyways it was very clear to me that I made a huge mistake by keeping up with their social media. (Thanks to FB using data mining from email address books I would see these pages pop up whether I wanted them to or not....)
But now I am glad that happened. That reaction proved that either 1) their lives are messier than they let on and I need to stay the F away from that sort of mess or 2) my ex told some tall tales about me to cover his ass and they think I'm a radioactive Loch Ness Monster that will keep asking for "tree fiddy"* (*Internet joke.) If either case is true then I was sooooo RIGHT to run away from my ex because he's still the same self-serving, manipulative POS I knew back then. (I caught onto him eventually because one of my parents is deeply nuts like that. It still hurt, I had feelings for him even though he was trash.)
The whole damn situation is amusing. No wonder people have a hard time making friendships last these days. Social media is more of a wrench in relationships than it is a facilitator....

I’m grateful for letting go of the young dude
If I am honest with myself I just fell into a lonely spell and liked the attention plus the sexual attraction. But deep deep deep down I knew the red flags were there.
Now that I haven’t had him charming me and I have a break from him I can see it for what it really was.
Anyways I am just glad I didn’t get too deep into it.

Grateful that while at another grief group yesterday morning, I met some lovely people, before and after the meeting.
I was in the thrift shop there, and met the most wonderful volunteer. He's a flamboyant gay guy ( Leo, which I always get along with).
After the group was over, I went out to the patio to eat.
He came out and gifted me with a book about how to deal with grief. Sooo kind of hm.:heartbeat
I also sat with a woman around my age, that is homeless.
She's from LA also. An astrologer, and from our conversation, an ex call girl.
Smart, sweet, kind.
There but for the grace of God go I.

Grateful I make enough money to afford good clean food. I was reading about the benefits of asparagus, power greens, avocado, and salmon. Man, it's no wonder I'm so healthy. These are staples of my daily diet. So super grateful I can afford good food, as I certainly can't afford seeing the Dr regularly.
That's just it, right? The ability to earn enough to afford how we SHOULD feed and care for ourselves. I was just thinking...I treated myself to good Dr. Bronner's liquid soap - the lavender scent. And I don't even remember the last time I slurged on Dr. Bronner's soap, but I know it's something that needs to remain in my life. Which means that I'll need to upgrade my income. Also, I want to be able to afford better quality foods. Hell, I'm an Amazon Prime member, and I can get Whole Foods deliveries in my zip code for only $4.99 for two-hour delivery.

I used Walmart grocery app so I wouldn’t have to go inside the store and they could just bring the groceries to my car. Well in typical Walmart fashion (I swear they have got to work on their inventory sell dates) they sold me some raw chicken that expired the same day I bought it.
I called the customer service and she not only credited my account but sent me an extra $15
I definitely appreciated her doing that and Walmart making efforts to maintain customer retention.

I'm glad I cancel my motel today, big deal the place's a dump (altho w/a pool)..
I did stay there a couple 4th's ago, meh.
Why pay $ to go from 1 dump to another?:D
I wanted a nicer hotel, there's a couple in the area, for not too much more, but then state & county tax's tacked on, + summer prices, + 4th prices.
Airbnb is mostly booked & suky too

One of my regulars was a longtime Wal Mart employee & he explained that the Wal Mart MO is to cut corners (in a manner of speaking) and reduce wasted product. It's cheaper to field the occasional complaint about almost expired food or slightly damaged products instead of paying overtime for employees to double check those issues. I've returned items to WM and had jobs in retail so I know the way it goes.
Wal Mart is what it is, I don't go there all the time but it is a useful store for whatever someone might need.

What girl doesn't love prezzies?
