After making two phone calls about the A.C., I walked over to the leasing office with every intention of sitting there and making eye contact until they closed if that's what it takes to get a maintenance guy over to my apartment.

So, grateful that they instantly decided they weren't in the mood for that and sent one over IMMEDIATELY.

I took my little boy to the dog park, and he was so good! We were supposed to go a local woman's house tonight and I was going to give her ten dollars for him to use her yard for about an hour. We ended up leaving after I paid her because they had recently torn down a very large tree and for ten feet straight along the already low on height fence there was wood piled up and I just couldn't possibly risk him getting away from me again. So I was extremely disappointed but we left and I googled the nearest park, so he could at least get new sniffs, and we ended up at a local community center/park/athletic fields that included a dog park. We got there around 8 and walked around a little, and he was being very good and not barking at all the other people or dogs too much. Then I was waiting at the dog park fence for the last people to leave and finally around 8:35 the last people left the small dog area. He didn't really run around and I think he was a little nervous about how different it was and all the new smells. After a few minutes he started running alongside me when I did. There were two dogs left in the big dog area and he start whimpering at me and looking at them, so it was clear he wanted to play. So I was a very, very nervous mommy but I took him to the big dog area to play with the two dogs that were there, and he did so good and they had so much fun chasing each other! He's clearly only reactive to other dogs while he's leashed b/c it went perfectly. I couldn't believe it. I don't know if I would ever take him during prime time hours but I'm so glad I took him tonight and let him play with other dogs. And work went ok today, which I mean I was not in anyone's ire, and we had a nice weekend and I have a trip upcoming...I feel like I've had a good day three whole days in a row, which never happens.

We went back today, and he was absolutely perfect. I think we are new dog park regulars! I can't believe it.

So much to be grateful for. One thing that stands out is that I'm registering my 4 year old into PreK. I'll finally have the house to myself during the day. This never-having-a-babysitter struggle is finally over.

So grateful weed is legal here.
Went to the dispensary for the first time yesterday.
"Yes, I'll have some pure THC please."
"Coming right up Miss."
I was a big pothead back in the 80's. All that sneaking around, trying not to get caught.
So nice to have it available in a safe environment.

I'm grateful to have one foot in and one foot out of sex work.
I mean ..... it's awesome in a way. Right now I'm in a hiding phase ( only 1 night at club in last two weeks ) but when I go back it'll be NO issue. Just go back / no worries / on with the hustle. There should be more in life that is as flexible as sex work. Gratitude.

Grateful that I got a can of peanuts for free at Bristol Farms.
I got free windshield wiper fluid at Jiffy lube.
Grateful that the Cornish game hen and veggies I made in my big Crock-Pot came out delicious!
I wasn't sure because I bought it at a thrift store.
I bought some liners that made clean up so easy.
Love that I don't have to heat up my kitchen, now that it's a million degrees outside.
Grateful that I went to bed early. Grateful that I live alone, and don't have to answer to anyone.
That's the best feeling in the world!

That really is the best way to work.

Less stressful and don’t have to deal with as much drama as the ladies whose sole income is through the club.

Grateful that while I was at the car wash, I was walking out to get my car at the EXACT same time as the hot Latino boy who works there was walking by.
We locked eyes, and it felt so hot!
We've been eye fucking each other for months now, and it's time.
The owner is a friend of mine, and loves to party.
I'm sure he wouldn't mind if I steal his worker away for an hour or so.:D
*After all my recent bitching about the old guys who have been pissing me off, it's just what Glam needs to do.

Did everything on my To Do list and for some reason the nail salon was PACKED ASF. I waited for about 20 minutes not realizing that women had booked the place for the next 5 hours.

As my granny says, tho..."But God".

They did my nails and I had to say a silent "thank you" to the stars every time they turned a customer away. I must have gotten there at the perfect time.

I've been ordering more stuff online than my grandma these past two weeks. Panties, chokers, dildos, a desk chair, led string lights (for camming), clothes, a camera...I need to chill. But now I get to sit and wait for little surprises in the mail and if that isn't Christmas in July I don't know what is.

Oh! And my two oldest daughters were accepted into this charter school and I almost cried. They are zoned to the one school in this whole area with a 2 out of 10 educational rating according to GreatSchools.org. ..complete trash. I absolutely hate that campus; I actually went there when I was a kid. But no school was going to make an exception and admit them.

So them being accepted here regardless of zoning policy is a godsend.

I'm so grateful for this one Barista who always buys my coffee.
I'm a Starbucks fanatic, and it really adds up at the end of the month.
His birthday is coming up at the beginning or September. I would like to get him something to show my appreciation.
But what?
Anyone have any suggestions?
He's a young, married gay guy. He's super skinny, bordering on anorexia. So anything food related is out.
I'm open to suggestions.
Thanks in advance.:)

I asked him yesterday what he wants for his birthday.
He said he he wants a small stuffed animal. /:O
Okay.
I found a light up Teddy Bear on Wish.com that is really unique and adorable.
Everyday I'm always amazed at how childlike, and naive, ( not to mention good natured) the people are that live here.
What a pleasant change from the cold hearted people in L.A., and the mentality insane guys on cam.
I am so grateful that I found a place like this to live.

I got a pet camera for only 50 dollars, and it very easy to set up and is excellent quality. I live in technology dark ages, so this is probably not news to most people, but I am very excited about being able to see my little one whenever I want.

I was in Atlantic City this weekend and it was a lot of fun. I went with DF and he can be annoying but overall it was nice to have a plus one. I got a very strong and fruity drink on Saturday at a restaurant on the boardwalk and it was so nice. It was so nice to not doing a single thing but eat and drink and relax. Between the ice cold ocean water and heat, it was the perfect balance.

I'm grateful for high end markets.
I've decided to just get premade deli food until it cools down.
I used the indoor grill last night to make steak. I boiled carrots as a side dish.
It heat up my kitchen and entire adjacent living room!
Even the Crock-Pot heats up my house too much.
Ugh!
I have window AC units, and they just don't work that well when it's over 105.( Which it will be until Nov).
So grateful for choices like these.

So precious! I love women helping other women, anyway. <3i

Speaking of women helping women, thanks to the "forum member" (don't know if she wants to be named) who read my anxiety rant, validated my concerns, and was just there for me. :)

Also grateful for Yogi decaf green tea, and cinnamon roll Pop Tarts that surprisingly aren't too sweet.

Very grateful for yummi Panda Express lunch - it's been a minute, and it's always a pleasure. Finally, I'm grateful for the ability to generate quick cash from home. :)

Yeah...I've decided that until I move into a place with more kitchen space, and since I'm so busy, I give up on being a Top Chef. I officially give myself permission to buy pre-made foods, or even, switch up my lunch and dinner meals. This way, I can just whip up a quick sandwich and a cup of broth for dinner, which suits my schedule and my body better.

Who the hell wants to cook at the end of a long day, especially in the dead of summer?

I'm grateful to work in an industry where I can make a positive connection to what I do. I'm reading a financial blog about how people select careers based purely on taking the first respectable job that pays well. But we all know that a lot of people have no emotional connection to what they do. I'm the type of person who needs an emotional connection for job/career satisfaction, and I've realized - I honestly love making men cum.

I love hearing it, and I love knowing that they'll enjoy a pleasant moment in life because I made them cum. I love knowing that I bring them pleasures and smiles, especially the old men who don't have other options.
If giving hand jobs was a legal career profession, then I'd legit do it for a living, I realized.

Exactly. I had already defrosted some ground beef, so I made meatloaf in the Crock-Pot yesterday. It was 108 and the first humid day we've had this year. Ugh! Last time!

I'm grateful that after 3.5 years, my next door neighbors sent from the gates of hell are MOVING!!!!

They're the apartment situation where the person with half decent credit and a decent job got the (one bedroom) apartment, but then they let all of their trashy/criminal friends and family flop over there, causing all sorts of issues that never got properly addressed by the management. But anyway, from what I can tell (because they're throwing stuff in trash bags instead of packing boxes), they seem to be moving on.

I'm also grateful for the opportunity to work from home. I get to wake up and fix the breakfast of my choice before I start my day. Finally, I'm grateful for a new side hustle that fits in beautifully with my other gigs.

I've said it before and I'm sure nobody cares but I am sooo happy to finally have all of my girls enrolled into school. I just keep thinking about how far I've come and about all of the baby sitter issues I've had up to this point. The family members who would send a "don't bring them over" text without warning, making me quit my job the same day. Their father moved over 300 miles away to another city but has the nerve to wonder why I struggled so much to keep a job - knowing damn well that daycare is the price of rent over here. I don't even want to detail the stunts I've had to pull to keep some type of money in the house WHILE watching over a child. I wish someone had told me about camming a long time ago.

But now that they are all going to school, I have the option of getting a regular job if I wanted to. No one is going to pay me as much as camming OR give me the disgusting amount of off-days that I give myself but I've been daydreaming about working a day shift for literally years. So, even though I'm beyond wanting to get a regular job now, this moment right here was still the stuff of my prayers. So, for that, I'm so grateful.

No more minimum wage graveyard shift jobs. No more NCI applications that don't go through. No more resenting my kids father for being so incredibly absent and living like a childless man in America. No more stress-induced depressive episodes. Thank God, no more of that. I've had to do shit I'll never be proud of to take care of my girls. But I'm grateful knowing that those times are officially over.

I'm so ready for this school year.
