I am grateful that after more than six months of dealing with the NHS I have finally managed to get a prescription for my ADHD (unfortunately Adderall is not licensed in the UK so if this medicine is going to do anything, I don't really know, since I've never been on it) and that I have found a nicer psychiatrist than the one I've been dealing with for the last six months. But if I was still stripping I would jump to private care in a moment, I hate dealing with this broken system and wish I could afford to go to a private clinic.

Triple pane windows! Also, blinds and curtains that block out any light.
Seriously, this is the FIRST place I've ever lived that when I shut the windows, I can't hear the neighbors dogs bark, or the others neighbors drill, or the other neighbor's crappy loud music while they are out front washing their car.
Every time I forget to close my windows at night, I have a restless sleep from all of the outside noises. The garbage trucks, mowers and blowers.
So grateful to be able to sleep well, every night.

^^Same. Well, technically I'm minus 6 pulled teeth...... I'm so grateful because I found crème fraîche in my local grocery store!! I bought a cookbook that uses it a lot and I kept having to put so many of the recipes to the side because of it because I had no idea where to find it. I thought it would only be sold in a super gourmet store, I'm literally so excited and appreciative about stumbling upon it. I'm grateful that it's nice and cool outside, I'm grateful for the steak salad I'm making right now & I'm grateful for Youtube.

I love when a guy knows his way around the kitchen and cooks for me. That's hot! I won't tell your fiance, don't worry your secret is safe with me. *wink* jk

What does oil pulling do for you? What kind of oil do you use and how long do you swish it?

Flickdreams

Coconut oil, melted, one tablespoon. I pull it back and forth through my teeth for 20 mins in the morning. Despite what the article says do not use a dark oil! Use coco oil. http://foodmatters.tv/articles-1/the-7-health-benefits-of-oil-pulling You can actually feel a little sick for the first few days or week because its detoxifying but stick with it for at least 2 weeks and you will start to experience changes. Have a search on SW there are a few threads on the practice.

My injured feet are healing .... I am now at the point where I have good days instead of just 'all pain all the time'. Putting my feet down on the floor first thing in the morning has been the worst thing ever for the past four months, but over the last several days there has been almost no pain. I now hobble around like a 60yr old instead of an 80yr old. This is progress!!

I had some weird eczema type patch if rough small bumps on my arm and tried everything from neosporin, antifungal cream, hydrocortisone cream, etc and nothing helped. Finally something told me to try coconut oil and voilà finally cured and smooth skin back. Glad nature prevailed and I didn't have to spend hundreds for five minutes with a doctor and pharmaceutical cream.

I am grateful for my new webcam. I took a gamble buying it, but its 40% paid itself off in one day already. That and also my house and everything else that I have. I look at people who literally have nothing and realise just how damn lucky I am. I may live a simple life and only have luxuries every now and then, but I am still insanely lucky compared to a lot of others and it makes me happy and grateful.

I hear ya! I just bought my first webcam (same one you have---I read your post in cc.)
I have been using my built in webcam since I started over 5 yrs ago. my room count went up almost instantly, on all of the sites I'm on! So did my income.

Today was just wonderful. I got so much love from all of my bff/room mate's 5 cats today and my my sister's dog... all that animal love doesn't compare to my banked nights(which i had the night before all this fuzzy attention).

Aaaaah....I love it, I love it. ♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡

Also, there is a huge group of baby caterpillars in our front garden. I love butterflies. ♡♡♡♡♡♡♡

Today I am grateful for the government assistance I will be getting to attend to a certain medical issue, and the fact that it sorted itself out so quickly. I am also grateful that the LOA literally worked overnight when I really needed it to. I am also grateful for another day of peace.

I sometimes forget how great my job is because of bad days, but today is a good day and I once again realize I'm very grateful for everything camming has brought me. I took a long hiatus and amassed some debt (only a couple thousand, I think about 3000?) and I'm now 4 months in again and all of that debt is GONE and I already put 1000 euro in my savings account :) and I only work a lot if i feel up to it (bipolar disorder type 2 with ultra ultra rapid cycling is a BITCH). what other job lets me do that??

I'm grateful for the fact that I make my own schedule. I should be a little more consistent and I'm working on that, sometimes it gets ruined due to my condition, but I still make more than enough. I can plan things with friends, I can schedule appointments the way I see fit.

I hate living where I live now and I'm saving up to move out. Due to depression and debt I wasn't even able to get much more than a bed and table for my place (moved last year). Now I'm saving up for the move, the deposit AND every fucking piece of furniture and decoration I want. I hope to do this in 3 months and I should be more than halfway my low goal by the end of this month.

I LOVE MY JOB

I love the girls on here, I am so glad I found this little community. I posted about a personal issue the other day and the # of PMs I've gotten offering advice, support and listening ears has been incredible <3

Oh, and I'm grateful that despite July I've got enough to eke out the $600 in bills this week without slaughtering my savings.

I am so grateful that a "terrible night" at work means I only made $50 an hour to drink free soda and sit around goofing off. I didn't want to work last night but I'm so glad I did. I certainly made a lot more than I would have if I had just stayed home watching Netflix... and for about the same amount of effort!

My dermatologist is the nicest guy ever! I skipped my last appointment on the 10th because the managers at the club I'm at have already been douchey and I knew being late coming from a dr's appointment wouldn't be a 'valid' excuse; I'd get a late fine and then rage quit and I really want to hit at least one more savings mark before I quit for good. Anyway I had enough accutane for last several more days since I tapered on to the next highest dose but today I figured why not and emailed him. He said not to worry about it and come by when they open tomorrow! I'm so glad!

I'm grateful I had a cute dream last night about the days when I tried to get a friend into dancing. (In the dream she was working at a peepshow to make some quick cash & we were laughing about it with her mom, who is cool about adult industry things.)

My friend couldn't handle dancing which was too bad, she is really hot. But oh well, it's not for everyone...

I am packing a lot of gratitude into this post. Went to the beach ystrdy & not only was it a beautiful day, but … water was warm. Narrowly escaped death by sea urchins, twice. Only a small area of my upper back got any burn, just that hard-to-reach area between the shoulder blades, & it was very minor. For once, I have a small bit of nice colour on my body other than my arms that didn't come from a bottle. No obnoxious fellow beachgoers. Best of all, I was finally swimming w/ no pain in my feet.

Grateful for the fact that my boyfriend found my coriander root online and it was delivered today. I have been searching for it in asian stores for months and have been unable to find it. And grateful for the new Sims Freeplay update that had fixed the glitch I have been getting for almost two months now.

Grateful that the professor I emailed about working in his lab, sent me a very enthusiastic email back. He's starting a new project, doing exactly the kind of thing I wanted to do. He also offered to help with my grad school admissions process. Super duper excited.

It's damn near impossible to compete with all the 'gunners' (what we call 4.0 GPA, president of every club types), for research jobs. You have like a 1% chance of getting a paying gig, and it's still difficult to get a professor to take you on to do it for credit hours.
Luckily I took one of his 24 person upper level classes and got an A, and he seems to be 'under the radar' so I don't think he's flooded with tons of applicants. I'm so used to getting 1-2 line emails and referrals to generic department applications online, that to get an actual 4 paragraph email back from a professor was amazing.
