I reconnected with a good friend (H) that I had a falling out with.
He’s an ex from a while back but we became close friends for a couple years afterwards. Life took us in different directions and we live 1500 miles away from each other but would still talk and text all the time. My last bf was very threatened by him and caused a lot of drama over me wanting to keep that friendship; eventually I had to tell H I couldn’t talk to him anymore. He was very angry about it. After I finally left the new bf (about a year ago) I often thought about reaching out to H but figured that bridge was burned and I just had to accept it.
My dad actually brought him up last week and suggested I send him a friend request on fb. I was terrified lol but he ended up accepting! We’ve been texting and he’s definitely still pissed at me. But I’m feeling cautiously optimistic that we can mend things. Good friends like him are rare and I’m so happy that’s he’s willing to listen to me apologize 10 million times lol. And grateful for my dad talking me into sending that friend request!
I’m traveling to his state in a couple weeks for an unrelated event and really hoping we can arrange a meetup! I think I have to wait a little bit to tell him though as he’s still mad/apprehensive about me.

I rely on my clothes to be interesting because, damnit, I'm boring asf.
;D;D;D I was thinking of ways that I can dress a little over-the-top for cam, too. Gotta find the angles to make ourselves interesting, right?

Gratitudes: My stomach seems to be behaving again. It actually feels better than it has in a while. Rest is a good thing.
I'm also grateful that I had the strength and the will to try a morning shift. I made a whopping $3 and some change, but I was in good spirits. It's always good to work in good spirits. I'll try another shift in a few hours.

Grateful a friend of mine sent $140. He's partially paralyzed & sometimes we play on cam. He was in a giving mood & sent cash. He didn't have to do that yet he did. It was nice of him.

Grateful for the intense love my Mother has for me.:heartbeat:heartbeat
She must be bowling like crazy, up there in heaven.
Because she's taking out the ones who hurt me. One after the other.
She was powerful when she was alive.
It's amazing how much more powerful she is now.
There is nothing like a mother's love.
Nothing.
So grateful.

Grateful for a really weird once in a lifetime coincidence that literally just happened-
I was taking my dog out to walk around the complex AND thinking of a young relative of mine who is no longer with us. For days my obsessive thought has been, His soul is not at rest! RIGHT as I was getting ready to walk back into the building, a little yellow and black bird started flying around and banging itself against a couple windows and the brick wall (half of the complex is made of brick.) I could tell the bird was both alarmed to be boxed in on the walkway/breezeway and alarmed to see me and the dog nearby.
Obviously this spooked me really badly. (No worries the bird found its way back over the roof and didn't injure itself trying to get out of the walkway.) Ultimately it's a coincidence I saw all that when I was thinking what I was thinking. But yikes.

I was finally able to get an ultrasound scheduled at the hospital near me and they were able to schedule me in for tomorrow. I had to take matters into my own hands since it turned out that my incompetent Ob/gyn never faxed over the ultrasound appointment request paperwork to them. She didn't return my phone call either. I'm glad that they let me make the appointment directly with them.

Maybe you mentioned this already, and I missed it, but PLEASE say that you found someone new (a new Dr.)?
Gratitudes: The stomach rebellion seems to be over...for now. I've lost a few inches in water. I'm going to maintain that with exercise. Because I'm eating less in general, I'm almost in the next pants size down.

(If you read my pissy post), something had to counteract that.
I'm grateful for my sweet neighbor, and friend who gave me Lysine to help prevent the shingles that gay husband might have given me again.
Grateful once again ( I can't rave about them enough), for Aldi.
*While my friend was up the street shopping at Whole Foods, spending a small fortune.
I bought a week's worth of groceries for just $32 .
Love that store so much!
*I ran out of make-up remover cloths. Found a bottle of cleanser for $2.99 It's so luxurious and smells so good!
And a dozen eggs for 49 cents!
I realize that these prices might not seem like a savings.
But, it is to me.
Here in a wealthy part of California, the price of everything is exasorbated.

I'm grateful that my favorite barista was working yesterday.
He always makes the largest size drink (venti) for me, yet never lets me pay.:)
I mentioned that I haven't seen him there in a while.
He told me that's because he's been transferred to another town. It's to the brewery for Starbucks is. It's tourist central, and is one of the busiest Starbucks. ( I was there for the first time on memorial day, and seriously started to have a mental breakdown, with how crowded and loud it was).
He said he needs more action.
All this to say, that it just goes to show how hard work and gratitude pays off.
I'm grateful that I had the wherewithal to cut 3 toxic 'friends' from my life this week.
Two I've known for over 20 years. One I've only known for 2 years, but has gotten too close, and is a user.
It feels so amazing, I must say.

I'm so glad that someone's dog was friendly. I was coming back from the zoo and a big German Shepherd came running at me, no leash or anything. Its tail was wagging and it was licking my hand. I petted it and it started going nuts wanting to give kisses. It was a major relief because you never know what to expect when you see a big dog randomly come running at you.

Speaking of free food...I have a Panera e-membership (join those freebie memberships, girls)...and it's time for a new freebie! This time, I scored a free breakfast sandwich, or wrap. I've been wanting to go to Panera anyway, so the timing is great!
I'm super-grateful that I was able to sell some refurbished antique furniture I had to an antique seller. She bought my pieces outright for an 81 year-old lady who was a friend of the seller's deceased mother. This 81 year-old lady is getting too old for her big house, so she's moving into a smaller apartment, and she need furniture. So the antique seller bought my pieces in order to donate furniture for this dear old lady!
I'd been trying to sell these pieces anyway on consignment, but I was able to get cash outright, and I love the energy of making an elderly lady's last few years a little brighter in her new home.

I'm grateful for a new barista at Starbucks (he's probably taking the place of my favorite one who's being transferred).
Without asking him, he gave me one of those cup holder cardboard thingys, and lots of extra napkins.
He was super attentive, and so sweet.
So much better than those snotty little cunts who always hand me my drink with wet hands and with my drink running over the sides.
It's the little things that mean a lot.
I love when they get it right.
Starbucks is my only guilty pleasure.
So, when things run smoothly, it makes me smile.51797

I'm grateful for thrift stores. I was able to get some baby clothes for baby girl in my belly, clothes for my first daughter, and some maternity clothes because I'm too fat for most of my pants anymore, all for under $20. A worker there noticed my belly and started talking to me. She gave me a 50% coupon.

A regular who usually doesn't flake out on me, flaked. He must've realized his error because an hour later he was asking me where we could meet up in public so that he could give what he owed. He did actually show up. That is rare for guys to do that. Most of them won't even bother but I'm glad he came through because I haven't had much work this week.

Well done! I suffer from depression and it takes work to avoid one. I say well done and truly mean it. I just fought off a light one, and fuck...it was a full time job of self care.
I'm grateful for zero anxiety and absolutely no dissociation. Derealization is the scariest fucking thing and everyday without it is just an absolute Godsend. Thank you Universe. I truly appreciate it.

One of the bouncers saw me looking at cars on Craigslist during some downtime last night, so he was like, “How many cars do you need?”, pointing out that I have that Cruze and pickup. So I told him that, no, it wasn’t for me, it was for my friend who moved here and told him the story behind that (this bouncer and one dancer are the only ones who know anything about me outside the club). So, he pulled out his phone and was showing me photos of this 98 Tercel he was selling. I asked him how much he was asking for it, and he said he was asking $1,000, but that he’d give my friend a ‘friends and family’ discount without saying exactly how much.
So, I took her there to look at the car, and it was in really great shape. So it was definitely worthwhile. So when we asked him the price, he asked her how much she had on her. Well, our plan was to go to the bank after the decision was made to buy the car, so she only had like $8 on her. So, $8 and the condition that I bake him a batch of cookies.

I'm so glad that my daughter changed her mind about the baby. At first she was saying she wanted a little brother and would be mad if the baby in my belly was a girl. Now she said boys are annoying and gross. She's excited to be getting a baby sister and keeps wanting to see my belly.

Every Sunday, the girls in my ‘prison family’ let me sleep in and make breakfast. My friend from the community comes over with her children and we all have breakfast together. Well, more of a brunch, but they’re having a little difficulty grasping “brunch”, so we call it breakfast. And my sister and ‘refugee’ now bring their friend from school who’s in group care over, and she normally spends the day here.
I know I said I wasn’t sure I’d have the will to take more people into my home, especially with how much emotional labor is involved. Maybe I’m just a sucker for hard luck cases. Of course, I don’t know if the state will allow it… my one remaining ‘refugee’ is the only one I took in as a minor, and that was a matter of getting her parents to sign over custody in order not to have CPS crawling up their asses. So I’m not even going to bring it up as a point of discussion with her and the others until I find out if I’m even deemed eligible.

Decided to have a cook out today on account of the holiday. I think this is the most people I’ve ever had here. I relinquished grill duties to one of the mechanics from my vanilla job who came over. It’s kinda his thing, and I’m really impressed with his efficiency. I can work a grill, but not like this guy.

I am officially on vacation now in the mountains of Pennsylvania. I forgot what kind of room I reserved, and it's a really nice one bedroom apartment. Thanks past self. And my dog is is soooo happy here. I can't wait to take him hiking tomorrow. Per Google, dogs do not smile but I think Google is wrong on that one.
