^ Yes! It's so much easier to use the grocery delivery service. That way someone can carry the groceries for you. It's not worth the back pain. I feel ya on that one. My lower back kills whenever I lift anything over 10lbs.
I'm grateful today for pumpkin pie smoothies. I feel like a stereotypical Midwestern white girl right now with the pumpkin pie but dang it, I've been craving pumpkin pie so it made me feel really happy.

Finally got all my wedding announcements addressed, and the few thank-you notes I needed to do written today. I also registered for the accelerated real estate license course. I'm excited to be making progress.

I'm so grateful that while I was at the post office retrieving my mail. I noticed something that " looked" like a check.
I took it over to my bank, and sure enough, it was.
It's a settlement check from a class action lawsuit.
I don't remember joining it, but, I'll take the money.
Thank You universe.:cloud9:

It's official. I haven't had a headache all day and I only had to blow my nose twice. I think my cold is finally leaving.
So glad that I'm getting better because I cannot be out of commission for even one more day.

I'm grateful that I feel better today. I went out to the park and fed the birds. Nuthatches and chickadees were eating sunflower seeds from my hand. There's something relaxing to me about birdies.

It is such a beautiful day today
I have managed to make several meals and somehow only paid $30 for groceries
Went to a game and one of the parents offered cookies
Got about an hours worth of work done (wish I would have gotten more)
Receive a random rebate check for over $400 ... definitely the highlight of my day
Got an interview on Monday

I'm so grateful that it's FINALLY fall.
Temps have dropped below 90, and for the first time since May, I can open my windows and doors.
No ac needed in the car.
I pulled out my blanket for my bed.
Ah, so cozy.

My boyfriend is finally coming around about the baby. Before he didn't want to talk about the baby or anything baby-related. Since yesterday he has been cooking for us, wanted to know the gender, talking about baby names, listened to the baby's heartbeat with the doppler, wants to go to my next doctor appointment, etc. Fingers crossed that he really means it and doesn't pull a Houdini on me.

Indiebill. I sold my first pregnant indy camgirl show through them today. It's nice being able to keep more of the $ I earned, as opposed to having to split 30-50% with a camsite.

50% cut is pimp-like not sure why cam sites get away with that
Today
Mom took me to dinner
Finished my project- will deliver the project successfully tomorrow
Relaxed feeling
Set 2 appointments
Looking forward to tomorrow

I'm grateful for how my hair turned out.
I (reluctantly) had 4 inches cut off, because of dead ends. I did an overnight coconut oil conditioner. My hair feels like silk. Love it! :curlers::cutie:
I'm also grateful that I found out how to fix 3 squeaky doors in my house that were driving me batty.
By doing a quick Google search, I noticed that I could use olive oil to rub on the hinges.
It worked like a charm!

I am so happy with my new direct report at work. I was worried she'd be bored but she seems ok with what she's doing so far and she's really smart and picks up on stuff quickly. The work we do is not rocket science and still with so many other people I have to retrain on the same things l the time. And I finally have one of my employees working on my projects with me, so having her is actually helpful for me and not only a pain in the ass.

I'm sooo grateful that my new eye doctor refilled my ibuprofen prescription.
He wasn't going to do it at first. He said the dosage was too high. (800 mgs). That I needed to go see my primary care physician, blah blah blah.
After using my honed ' hustle' techniques, I was able to convince him to write the damn thing.
Now I'm stocked up until next spring.:chillpill:chillpill

I put in a request for a presale ticket to Phish NYE. I was worried about my odds because I had put in 2 requests for some of their other shows this fall and both got denied. Soo I asked my brother to put in a request for me. We ended up both getting tickets! One of them is an amazeballs seat. And the other one I am using to trade for a ticket to another one of their shows I originally was wanting to go to. I’m so flippin outrageously excited!

Finally! After weeks of work I got a new client. Geez these people in this town can be hard to sell to.
I tried to explain the benefits as best as I could so I hope he understands the pros of keeping the product (plus the benefit of working with me)
I had to take up a side gig to pay some bills till I could get more clients. I wished I could go back to adult work cause the money was usually fast and anywhere from $20-$100 and hour. But I’m just thankful I can get some side money coming in. All my customers tipped!
Yesterday I made money from 3 different sources - FINALLY got a multiple income stream

My vanilla job has been very slow with shifts, but I'm grateful to have a long shift today!
Also there are 12 weeks left for the rest of the year! I'm very grateful that the year is coming to a close and I have plans to work through the cold months/holiday season.

We've been having such a nice Saturday. It is sunny and cool here finally so this morning we stayed out for a very long time for his morning walk. Then it was nice and quiet today, even though the office next door to me is open and got a lot of reading done and a little bit of straightening up. Then my dog was whining to go out again so we went to the dog park but we walked around the neighborhoods first because it was extremely crowded and it was such a nice walk. I've been trying to be more consistent with his reactivity training and it seems to be helping. When we got back to the dog park almost everyone had left and he got along very well with the dogs who were left and played a lot. We left after about half an hour because it was getting crowded again and I didnt eat anything all day but crackers and coffee. Stopped at the grocery store on the way home and now its not even 4 and I dont have to do anything but relax and the pooch for quick potty breaks.

Grateful for my dog. He is a ton of hard work esp since I'm single and live alone. But he has enriched my life in many ways and even turned my parents from dog-haters to dog-lovers.
Grateful I've been able to keep a bunch of tropical plants alive in my home for the last year. It really improves my quality of life living in what is otherwise a pretty dingy low-end apartment building.
Grateful I live in a state with extremely accepting attitudes towards cannabis! I think I've posted about that in this thread before but it doesn't get old.

Grateful for one of my gay husbands, who's a master colorist.
He did my roots yesterday, and my hair looks amazing!
*I was letting my roots grow out, just to see what was under all of this blondness that I've had for 35 years.
Yeah....No.
I do NOT look good with black hair.
Having those dark roots was seriously making me depressed.
Glam is a blonde. Probably will be until the day that I die.

Grateful that, as soon as I turned my PSO phone on yesterday, I got a call!
I was just on my way out the door when I got the call. ( Otherwise, that could have been embarrassing if I was I public.)
Grateful that I finally was able to get my car washed, and stock up on essentials at the dollar store, which I've been putting off.

I just found out that Starbucks gives you a free drink when you buy one inside the store.
I've been going to Starbucks every day for 5 years, and nobody ever told me.>:(
The choices are, iced tea, cold brew, or iced coffee.
Even without using their app it's only 50 cents for a refill. So....
I tried the iced tea, which is something I would never order there.
Yummy!
Grateful that yesterday was happy hour. Buy one, get one free.
So, today I have a coffee already prepared for that mid afternoon slump.
Grateful for you Starbucks.

Pulled myself together and got laundry done. Also decided I have enough leftovers for this week that I don't need to spend money I don't have on meal-prepping. I'll save those recipes for another week.
Feeling grateful for my husband. I think anyone that I'm with so often gets under my skin and I end up bitching about them more than appreciating them, but I am feeling grateful for him today. I know he makes my life better.

Facebook reminded me where I was 3 years ago today.
Homeless, broke, and living outside.
My gratitude today is beyond comprehension.
How far I've come in just 3 short years.
A home. A job.
But most importantly: The wisdom to know the difference.
I know all of you ladies understand what I'm taking about.

Im writing this to remind myself its better to make some money than no money., its better to have an unglamorous expensive apartment then no apartment., its better to have an old car that runs great than no car.
Thank you lord, I truly do mean that.
