Grateful there’s a dancer ay my club I can trust. My “refugee” has been inquiring about possibly stripping once she turns 18. I’m protective of her like was my own, but I also have to acknowledge that she’s not a child. I can’t give her advice on this that wouldn’t be intended to steer her far away from it, so the one dancer I encountered at Cinco de Mayo and whose sister is working at my vanilla workplace sat down with her and talked to her about it… the upsides, the downsides, the in-between.

And this is a huge deal to me… I am very protective of “my girls” - my sister, my “refugee”, and the Amish girl. I absolutely do not allow them to be exposed to that aspect of my life, and I really didn’t want her to interact with them, either, but she persuaded me to let her have that talk with my ‘refugee’, and I’m glad she did. She really did a fantastic job at laying it all out in a neutral way which encouraged my ‘refugee’ to make her own decision, rather than trying to push her in one direction or the other.

Here's my receipt.
I made the spare ribs yesterday.
It was my first time ever, and I used the Crock-Pot.
Let them cook for 7 hours on low heat.
OMG!
They turned out so delicious!

I'm so grateful for my cooking skills, and the awesome Crock-Pot.

I was having what I thought might be contractions, along with nausea and was getting worried. I went to hospital and all is well. Baby is fine. I'm only 6 months pregnant and I don't want to have a micropreemie baby so it's a relief to me that it doesn't look like she's going to come soon. I'm grateful for that.

Glad to hear that.

An idiot who took me private(on cam) just to argue for 5 minutes about why he thinks I should give him my personal phone number. I was just sitting there like,"Whatever. Every minute that you're in a show with me means more $ for me. Want to argue for an hour?"

Having one of the best weeks workwise where prospects are agreeing to meet AND completing applications

Thankful that most things are going right and that despite what seems like reality I know without a doubt that good fortune comes my way and stays my way.

I can’t explain it but I have a sense of peace while also working with a sense of urgency

I’m glad my prospective clients trust me to be their advisor and do business with me

I’m grateful that the companies I use accept business with my clients

im also thankful my family is kind enough to sacrifice and help me when/if I need it

The salmon came out unbelievably delicious.
Had a side of mashed taters, coleslaw, and peas.
So grateful for my Crock-Pot.:)
Grateful that yesterday was the first day I got to pull out all of my winter stuff.
Wool blanket, furry slippers and socks, sweatpants, ski hat.
Most of all, I'm grateful for a cashmere sweater I got for free at the food Bank.
It's the little things that mean a lot. 3 years ago at this time I was homeless. Freezing and shivering outside.
So grateful for my home.

I had my first shift at a new club, and I am grateful for making my tip in back so I wasn't in the hole! I had even taken money out as back up and was able to take that money out as well and put it away.

Was so ecstatic that I slept with my money bag next to me that night lol. Budgeting for the start of Nov. right now, and I'm very grateful that I was able to put away money for my savings overall. ;D

I'm beyond grateful that my favorite grief counselor is back in town. She's a snowbird, so she's only here in the winter.
She held a workshop yesterday, for those of us that are grieving during the holidays.
How to handle it.
I love, love, love her sooo much! :female::heartbeat
Her demeanor is extremely calming. She's so gentle, and kind.
Like "Xanax for the Soul".
She even made sure to have snacks, Starbucks, iced tea, muffins, cookies, cake, etc.
She hugged me after and said something only my Mom used to say. " Please be careful driving, okay?"
I just KNOW that was channeled through my Mom.
My heart is so full.

Cam wasn't going great this morning, spent 2 hours at $0 so when a reg hit me up for fbsm, I accepted. This particular reg hasn't seen me in 3 months and once he saw me and my huge belly, he freaked out and thought that I was 9 months pregnant, due at any minute. No amount of trying to reassure him that I'm only 6 months and not going into labor any time soon worked. Luckily he still paid me full amount since I had gone through the trouble of going out in the rain/snow mixture to his place.

Also .... a work ethic in our family line. It can seem like sometimes you get the " hustle " gene randomly but spending time with my parents I see where I got it .... so much is from them. They are huge hustlers and have accomplished a lot together as a team.

What about her is so soothing/loveable? it would be good stripper conversation as a lot of dancers have charismatic appeal as informal counselors. It's ok if you don't want to discuss it (privacy, etc.)
