Grateful student loan payments are on hold right now. I wasn’t paying for a few months anyway so this is nice for me to not have that accumulating.

My house sit extended to mid month and then it's a 90% chance my desert house sit will extend to the end of the month ! That is a TON of time in this house and I feel so lucky !

I feel for the owners like I feel for everyone who is losing $ due to no tourists here lately but I feel very lucky to be HERE on my extremely limited income v.s. somewhere I'd have to pay for on that extremely limited $. ;/

I found cookie dough that I bought last month, stuck in the freezer, and forgot about until today. I have chocolate chip cookies now.

Work originally said they needed me today, then called this morning and said never mind. I’m glad cuz I actually didn’t want to work today. But I am also grateful that they asked if I really needed the hours or if it was ok to cut me. At least they were considerate about it.

Running hills today in my neighborhood. On my third sprint up, I ran past a man walking his dog. When I got to the top and started to jog back, he said to me, "where do you dance?" It was the nicest thing anyone has said to me in a long time. 40 and still got it!

Came across a potential client today.

He was a great spirited guy sense of humor and seemed like a decent person. He really wanted to do business with me but I had a hard time finding something in his budget.

Somehow we got on the topic of relationships and mentioned how surprised he was that I was single, how he could tell I was a good person and that sometimes guys don’t realize when they have a quality woman in front of them. And how he didn’t think I recognized my worth. Perhaps he was right.

It’s weird in a good way I suppose when older clients be giving life lessons.

Bf came back and bought groceries and cooked dinner. I am glad because we were getting low on food and I really didn't want to go out with kids to get groceries. He's scoring major points today.

I didn’t always believe in karma, now I do. When I decided not to sue the sexual harrassers and my previous firm for time and cost reasons, since I was able to find a job at a much better firm with better people and conditions, a lot of my close friends were mad and thought it was so unfair how I was treated, especially after my complaint. Now during covid-19, I am doing great and my new firm is still thriving, whereas my previous firm is going downhill, the harrassers lost their jobs and I heard that business-wise and economically my previous firm is really not doing well. Karma is a bitch!!! And I didn’t even have to waste my time and money to sue them which would have taken months and years!!!!!!

And I now believe everything happens for a reason and am glad I went through hell and the sexual harrassment for months. If I were at that same firm, I think I would be among the interns whose internship is suspended or ended, or employment contract revoked so that I wouldn’t even be able to get called to the Bar!!!!

i got on cam yesterday and made 5 bucks. it's been a stressful three weeks.

I woke up this morning to a stimulus check of $2700 and received confirmation that I was definitely hired for the job I wanted. I start at the end of the month.

Being able to work from home and bf working from home, too. He has been so good about helping with the household chores and the baby now and also, lunch time or morning before work (after work for him) sex is awesome.

I'm grateful I gave up my city apartment in the winter.

I am treading water now like many people. I can't even imagine doing that plus spending 1k on that thing.
I would have most likely had to rent it out anyway. So glad to be free of it and free of the memories there ( being in the space shared with an ex , bleh ) .

I haven't owned a cell phone in 6 months. I was paying a phone bill just to NOT talk to people. But I bought one this week and forgot how useful it can be; so I'm grateful.
I just picked my car up from an auto shop and it only cost $450 to fix it's issues - I was prepared to pay $800. She drives like a dream again; very grateful. Nothing cornier than having to catch a ride just to go somewhere.

I bought a new harness and double clip leash for my dog a week or so ago and it had been fine. This morning we were walking and passed another dog and mine started barking and pulling and I was trying to hurry past. I don't know what happened exactly but after a few seconds mine started whining and I realized the leash was stuck in his mouth!! It was twisted around his tongue somehow I think because even when I held him tight so the leash wasn't taut whatever was in his mouth wouldn't fall out. Eventually it released somehow after maybe thirty seconds or so. That was SO scary but I don't think it caused any damage, once it fell out he was acting himself, barked at a delivery guy. When we got home he ate like normal and played a little. He hasn't drank water yet but he lets me look in mouth and it looks normal. So I'm very grateful for that.

Edit: he drank water!! Officially all good.

Got a call today from a recruiter I plan to start working with once I get licensed at the end of the summer. We've talked on the phone before and met in person at a conference in February, but I figured with the covid situation affecting the market in my field I probably was on her back burner. Which I was fine with and planned on reaching out later on this spring as I got closer to completing everything. It meant a lot that she reached out!

Also grateful that social distancing means I don't have to deal with some of my boyfriend's best friends and business associates. I literally hate a handful of them so this is helping me stay sane.

Glad I withheld my standards to the best of my capabilities when I dealt with those 2 dudes. Even in a feeling of loneliness I’d rather be by myself vs deal with men who have ill intentions

Feeling confident I will align myself with the right guy at the right time.

Ironically, I am very grateful for a lot of things right now.

I am grateful for being single right now. Holy shit. Imagine fearing for your husband and kid's wellbeing during this pandemic. I've read of stories of healthy young kids dying and young husbands. Horrible :( Sometimes I can be a big time worrier.

Grateful for the help I've been offered, even though I was already prepared for this. I don't even have to touch my emergency fund and savings. Not only that, bills were already paid off before this shit hit.

Grateful I didn't do my business move this year. I'd prob be stressed the fuck out with ppl getting sick/dying and being jobless. Etc.

I'm grateful for my bff spoiling the shit out of me daily. Lol. I get gourmet style, healthy home cooked meals everyday. Some ppl really love to cook and are really good at it.

Most importantly, I am super duper grateful that all of my loved ones are ok. Money can't buy someone's life.

-I cleaned my car today and replaced the tail light that has been out for the longest damn time. I had to youtube how to do it but I figured it out all by myself!
-Did an online study hall with my classmates today and it felt great to vent about our teacher and joke about everything during this really stressful time (not referring to the pandemic; SCHOOL has been stressful asf)
-The entire apartment is clean. I love this feeling.

Aren’t you badass! I need to YouTube how to repair my bike. I always end up taking stuff to a shop, but I bet if I just tried I could do a lot more by myself and save some money in the process.

I can’t wait for school to be over this has been stressful AF! School was never easy, but the current crisis makes it so much harder for me to focus.

I can’t wait for finals to be over. I just gonna cam everyday until summer classes start.

Yessss. I'm the kind of girl who will take her car to the car shop just so they can add refrigerant to the A.C.

I've had a mechanic literally tell me to just drive next door to Autozone versus him charging me. (spent 60 dollars on a can of cold air just to still not do it right)

With the power of youtube, I feel like I can do anything now. Well, anything but memorize 16 chapters worth of info that'll be on the mid-term this coming Wednesday.

On that note, I need to log back off and go study.
