Having the balls to ask for 50% down for holiday bookings in Day Job . The first customer paid it no problem and now I feel confident to ask from all the others. :)

I'm dying to know too! I'd be thrilled to even be an 8 size!
Wow! Congrats! May I ask how? Or if you did a thread on how, can you give me the link?
I'm having a tough time getting down to a size 6.
Thank you

Today I am grateful for sobriety. I am grateful for my new found spirituality :)
I am grateful my son has a good father, even though I dont have full custody. I am grateful for being able to have residual income (now I just gotta get it to go the right direction LOL ) I am grateful for the 99 cent store, making fun nights with my son possible while being broke.

I am super grateful that I got to house sit this weekend. My god it was awesome having a big, pretty and air-conditioned house to myself. With a proper backyard that smelled like grass and not urine.

Grateful that my period is not bad at all (yet.) No cramps or anything today! Woohoo! I'm usually bedridden for a day or two every month. I'm grateful for all the delicious Filipino bbq I ate over the weekend, the shrimp and snow peas I had for dinner. I'm grateful for having such a loving, affectionate and supportive husband. He is my rock

My Greyhound is not particularly cuddly, & normally just tolerates hugs … but this morning b4 I left for work she gave me a hug. So sweet.
Tomor I finally have a day off after working 8 days in a row.
My bed is right where I left it, at home waiting for me.

Grateful I made enough money over the summer to afford to take the next two weeks off to attend all the frosh parties the faculty has to offer since I have never been to any in the previous years! Happy that I can easily pay for tuition and will be able to buy all the required textbooks brand new :)

I'm loving yesterday's weather! The cherry blossoms are flowering, the air is fresh but not cold, and the sun is shining longer and longer. I don't need to wear four layers and I'm looking forward to giving my dogs their cute summer haircuts (soon) :)

Thankful for the money I did make at the club, even though I usually make more. Now hopefully I spend it wisely. Well, I'm going to be thankful I'm spending it wisely even though I technically haven't spent it yet.

I had such a fabulous night last night at the new club, and then I came home to find my school actually did approve me for another year of financial aid. I thought they'd turn me down since I have so many credits. But nope! I can finish a second degree!
I mean, there goes my free time, ever... it's in neurobiology... but fuck yeah, education.

Just finished my last double shift, not working on Sunday and taking time off work for an undetermined period of time :) I overworked myself over the summer but it was well worth it. I feel so tired!

So grateful that the upcoming tube strike was canceled. I would have been in a seriously horrible mood for the rest of the week spending 5hrs in a bus for Wednesdsy and Thursday.
I don't know what these assholes have to strike about, they make £58,000 (almost $100,000) a year and have two months of paid vacation AND work two hours on two hours off. Is it a boring job? Yeah, but it's not exactly that challenging to drive a train, it's not like they went to uni for years or had to train for years, and there are a lot of boring jobs (and boring AND gross jobs) where people are barely scrapping by making minimum wage (£12,000) and when they strike who are the people that fucked? The politicians they're arguing with? No those people have drivers taking them to work. The people are making £12,000 a year working a shittier job than they are.

Grateful for my savings pool building up again; I'm picturing lapping at the edges and overflowing. I'm grateful for counsellors and wome's circles. Grateful for the first time customer who booked me out to mostly talk and cuddlle.
So grateful to be meditating regularly and starting to really feel into the subtle energies again. Grateful to music for the power to dramatically shift energy (even if only briefly sometimes).
Grateful to have a strong voice and open throat chakra and the willingness to say NO when it all feels wrong. Grateful to my emotions for being a guidance system; if its not feeling comfortable in my body/my emotions are triggering a physiological response then I am aware that the signposts are pointing elsewhere.
Grateful that within 1 week I will be able to vacuum clean my house for the first time since April (sweeping it with a broom has been the alternative).
Grateful for my health and fitness and steadily increasing good looks and tone ;)

I'm grateful I was able to switch classes, and found out I still have credits from classes i took years ago and forgot about...which means I'm only about 2 semesters from graduating YAY! Also grateful for this beautiful weather we're continuing to have and a decent Monday shift. I was pleasantly surprised that I made more than Thursday night, which is usually one of my best shifts.

I got a 90.08% in my anatomy class!!
Oh God. I'm SO happy right now. I had resigned myself to a B and was refusing to look at final grades, after I took the final exam... I was barely hanging onto a 90% otherwise and then I got an 88% on the final and I was sure that wasn't enough to keep the A. Anything below an A in a class is basically a waste of $$ as far as my post-bac GPA is concerned, so FUCK YAAAAS.

^^^^Good genes, mostly.
But... I don't drink alcohol, smoke, or do drugs. I stay out of the sun, and get 8 hrs. Of sleep every night.
I sip water, every few minutes all day long.
I hardly ever moisturize, so its not about any external beauty products, that I know for sure. Oh, I don't wear makeup most of the time either. Just dont need it.:)

Yep, I follow all of the above too- excepting water, i don't drink nearly enough.
Yeah, water, I feel, is the most important helper for flawless skin. The only side effect is having to pee every few minutes, but I wouldn't trade the benefits for anything in the world.
I look at photos of myself 20 years ago, when I didn't drink water, and I look way younger now.:cutie:
Another secret I have for flawless skin, is prob. something that might not be for everyone...That is to keep to myself. To not allow 'energy vampires' to suck out my life force with their drama, and complaining.
I was just thinking about this today, because I felt really great 2 days ago(I hadn't even left my room in 3 days), and was in my own beautiful world.:cloud9:
I went to a bbq yesterday, and felt so sick not only from the heat, but by being with draining people, and way too much bad energy.
I'm still really exhausted today, as I sit here and contemplate getting ready for work.
