I gotta ask, Shipt lol?
I'm grateful my LL was so nice, I wrote him a note saying I applied for assistance.
I like both Shipt and Amazon. Shipt is good if you need a sooner timeframe.

Amazon? As in the same day Whole Foods grocery delivery that comes with your prime account of you mean the like 2day prime/Amazon pantry for dry goods?

I order from Amazon Fresh. It's same day with my prime account but usually free delivery windows are hours away whereas with Shipt I can place an order and it will arrive way sooner.

Ok. So I think Amazon Fresh comes from Whole Foods (at least here it does). I didn’t realize Shipt was quicker I thought they were both about the same.
I’ll add another detail was I ended up meeting with my family member who offered to pay for a nice Italian style meal for lunch. It was quite tasty and flavorful n I’m not big on Italian food
I also drove around a bit in the rainy cold night so I’m thankful I stayed safe

I'm grateful that my brother came here yesterday and secretly brought my stepdad and biological dad with him. That stopped BD from his bullshit. He suddenly acted nice for the rest of the party.

I am thankful for breakfast this morning, a warm bed to sleep in last night, and some time to myself to do whatever tf I want to do (which consists of reading n watching social media. Probably not the best idea but good entertainment)

I got a liquid nose job. I went to the student Aesthetic seminar and got my Botox and resatylane. Toward the end the doctor was like we can fix your nose. I was like hell yeah!

^^ I was thinking of getting undereye filler but I am scared. I don't want that puffy look.
Grateful I received my check for a focus group I did last week. I wasn't expecting it to arrive until March. This helps me out a lot.

I didn't know that either. I used to work at Roy Rogers, which was bought by Hardees in the 90s.

Our new grocery store in this area is BALLER. This is the nicest one I've ever seen in this chain. Their selection is amazing, and they even have a clothing section, like it's Target instead of a grocery store. I even found 15lb hand weights! Which I've been searching for for months.

Simply grateful for these forums and the support it brings. Just being able to rant and say what the fuck your want without the backlash and judgement is priceless. Just started a thread on another well known British forum and nothing but bullies and trolls.

Years ago I was on a message board most likely hosted in the UK and I got trolled and harrassed very quickly. I ended up getting banned b/c I lashed out against some of this treatment. (No biggie there, the board was a waste of time.) I kind of wonder if the "stiff upper lip" in Brit society makes some people quicker to get nasty online as there are no real life repercussions to being rude to faceless people on the Internet. Human nature is often wack.
Today I am grateful- that my tummy trouble stopped.

Definitely think that is true. I don’t think they think could handle my brutal honesty about my daughter’s teacher being a shit.. Because I can’t have an honest option, they decide to gang up. Disgusting website. Another reason I fucking hate the UK, and can’t wait to leave next year for good. Just to feel sone heat on my body now would be bliss

Talked to my landlord and she has a much more pleasant attitude than my previous encounters with her.
Found a $10 gift card to Amazon in this package of a straightener ... that only cost me $10 (basically got it free)
Finally washed my metal baby (my car) because she needed it badly
Time to earn more money so now I’m super thankful that all my bills are paid on time
Thankfully L is inviting me to a casual date at a restaurant. Good thing neither one of us has to cook or do dishes.
My investment account is up 32%

I'm also grateful because I got brought on for another focus group. It's happening today. It's $40 but at least it's something.

I love our laundry machines in the building. It's sooo nice to just be able to walk downstairs instead of going to a laundromat. And the machines are set up with this awesome app that just connects via GPS and lets you pay with one swipe instead of dealing with quarters. A full wash and dry for a load here is 3.50. I used to spend $3 on a single washing machine at the laundromat.

Omg, in the first few seconds that I read this, I saw "wizarding marathon" and for some reason thought "wizarding tournament," like there were people running around pretending to cast spells competitively (like the "quidditch matches" that are around in some places), and I was SO excited and intrigued. Like, "What!? This is a thing!? And it's TELEVISED!?" And then I read the rest and realized my mistake. lmao

I'm grateful because the place I'm moving to has a sick washer dryer combo. It's the little things that are big.
Also happy that I scored another focus groups that pays a $30 Amazon gift card. I'm attracting a lot of focus groups which is amazing! Everything helps right now.

I put in notice at my full time job a couple weeks ago and negotiated to stay on with the company per diem. Woke up today feeling stressed AF about not having a steady paycheck anymore...I’m actually at my former full time job today but I’m only scheduled for 5 hours which had me feeling antsy. Then I got a text from a director at another nursing home 30 mins away saying they want me to come help out for a full 8 hours tomorrow!
Gotta train myself to stay calm and positive always!

The goodnight inn in Whittier being closed and boarding their doors up.
Remember seeing gang signs written on the lamp, the back of the door, and etched in the bathroom door. I was so embarrassed having customers there. Plenty of police would show up there for shady people. I only went there in the past outta convenience/cheap for last minute appointments years ago

I'm grateful for the Magic Bullet. That thing makes the best smoothies. I'm trying to lose weight and eat healthier. I can throw pumpkin seeds in, pecans, chia seeds, power greens, 6 oz OJ, and blueberries and it's healthy AF.
