Oooo so glad this thread is back up. Reminds me I wanted to add a splash page to one of mine. Something to add a few features and cross promote some other stuff. Does cambuilder allow for stand alone pages or do I have to host it myself and do a redirect?

I'm not sure... let me know what you find out because I'd love to do a splash page for mine also. :D

So the official policy is that you can take their photos from SM IF they do not have geoblock. To find out if you can promote a girl with their SM content and a link, log out of your whitelabel and if they are still visible on the main pages then it's fine. I was given an "I'm not sure, will get back to you on this" and then (after 3 follow ups from me) they never got back to me about girls with free videos on their profile, if affiliates can use those videos. You do not have to ask them if you can use their photos, it is part of the agreement models sign with SM. However, a bunch of camgirls on twitter blocked me when I promoted them with my cammodels link back before I had a white label (though I didn't use their pics, just a link, tweet about how awesome they were, and their twitter name if I knew it) without any warning, I found out through someone else that they were pissed I was trying to make money off them, so be aware that could happen to you if you promote your whitelabel links on your regular cam twitter. I have a separate affiliate twitter for this reason, it was a huge bummer to have girls I liked and respected mad at me. Though TBH I lost some respect for them for being like that, because I never promoted anyone with geoblock etc. But I digress. No you do not need permission, they already gave SM affiliates permission.

I have three white labels (one generic and two for the specific niches I fall under, and some other niche specific affiliate stuff I signed up for) so I don't really want to set up new twitter accounts for each ;D. I'll just start promoting and if someone doesn't want me to use them I'll stop.

I have been using CAMBUILDER for several months and I can honestly say that I am quite impressed with the conversions I've managed to generate. Payouts are on time, and it's a great customer service team that is pretty responsive to your needs.

I'm busting my ass on advertising my whitelabel since I got my first signup which made me HAPPY DANCYPANTS! It's at the point now where I know to get more action on it I need to devote time to it. I think I might turn my current day off work into Affiliate Day, since I have a few affiliate things on the go right now...I am even considering getting into some non-adult-industry affiliate stuff. It's actually kind of fun!

Affiliate work in the adult industry is the most lucrative for me I find. I recently got into the travel industry with a PPC and PPL which right now is just pennies until I can figure out which direction to work it. I am looking to expand even further out from the adult world. The adult industry will always be my 1st love as an affiliate however I know there's so much more out there for me. My ultimate goal is to pimp the automotive and real estate side of affiliate work so we will see.

I can't remember who it was, but I seen a few pages back about having to transfer your domain when you launch a whitelabel which is not completely correct. It depends on which program you choose that will determine if you have to transfer your domain. For example, I decided to try the $100 per new spender (once new spender spends $20 I believe)and for that it required I transferred my domain. Each program/option explains everything not to mention support is A+++ and will answer any question/concerns you have :)

What do you do to promote your affiliate sites? I also started a white label and would love some advice on this

I want to know, too. Do you just advertise it via social media and your blog?

So far I have only used social media for my white label and have had crazy conversions. WAY higher compared to a cammodels link. I get checks every week consistently at this point. Eventually I would like to branch out to where I am paying for advertising on major traffic sites, but to get started you need about $10-$15 for a domain name and a social media account!

Can we have more than 1 white label site for streamate? Say like if I wanted one that had my name in it and then maybe a second one called something else? Anyone know if that's allowed?

Yep! You can even list them all under the same account if I'm not mistaken, and compare stats.

how do you get traffic????

Promote on social media, use TrafficJunky (or equivalent) to purchase pop under ads, promote on social media. Pimp it out to your fanbase. Make flyers and go to the business districts with the bankers/lawyers etc. and pass them out.

....did I say promote on social media? ;)

Oh my gosh, you guys! I totally just set up an account! Both excited and nervous...does anybody want to cross promote? I'm going to set up a Twitter account now and once that's done I'm going to set up a wordpress blog. I'd love to interview a new model Streamate model every week both in order to drive traffic and help promote the model. I'm so excited! I didn't even know I could do this! Open to any tips, thanks!

I used Juicy Ads years ago to sell ad spots on my site - out of the networks I'd tried, they were the least shady. Haven't tried them as an advertiser yet.

Many of the sellers on JuicyAds have some serious malware issues. They need to go through and review their current sellers.

Hm...so would JuisyAds not be a good place to advertise with? I started to make an account but they wanted my address and I was not comfortable giving that out. I'm signing up with TrafficJunky.

***UPDATE
I am freaking the hell out! How do you even USE traffic junky!? Holy hell, what am I doing????

Well I have been up and running for a whole 24 hours. Haven't made any money yet. I want to be grumpy about it but honestly, I should have expected this. I literally have zero patience, it's why I make clips now instead of sitting in chat for fucking hours haha. Okay but here's what I learned!

1) So on Twitter I'm not getting a ton of followers from guys. This initially rankled me because my personal cam account literally exploded within hours of putting it up. Upon overview, I think it's because I'm advertising myself as a business. I have a freakin' logo for a profile pic! Now, for my vanilla businesses this is fine. Looks professional. Bad news bears in the sex world. I'm putting a sexy pic up tomorrow and making it really obvious this sexy bitch is running the show. Hopefully that way should attract more dudes. I also put my @ camming name in the bio of my business twitter.

2) Create a link for yourself in the menu! If you have a streamate account make a tab titled, "HEAD BITCH IN CHARGE" or whatever you want to call yourself and when customers click on that they can go directly to your streamate account. It's like being first page, top row ALL THE TIME! On the other hand I saw that IvyAdams has linked to an outside website which is SkyPrivate. I would definitely suggest this over your Streamate account as you keep SIGNIFICANTLY more money then with Streamate! (Ivy, I stalked your sigs. I'm sorry. In my defense I did that when you brought up WhosOnlinexxx and NOT to steal your ideas. PS I'm following you on Twitter)

3) Since we're on the subject on rerouting to another page, you could also try linking to your OWN sex shop! That's right, with AdultShopping.com you can customize your own FREE store (that's from their website, I haven't personally tried them out). I found them totally on accident through MyPornProfile. You can also sell lingerie and porn on your website so after guys get done wanking it they can hop over and buy their favorite lady some lingerie or a dvd for those lonely, lonely nights.

4) If you're like me and want to stick to clips, then link to your clip store! Or just create a second link in general and link to both from your whitelabel. I might go with MyPornProfile but I might take some time tomorrow and find a clip store where custom clips can be ordered. This is going to be hard for me because I'm such a freak on Clips4Sale and now I'm going to have to sell more vanilla vids. Oh well, I'm also gonna see if I can sell things like panties, abused shoes, snapchat, etc on this new site as well so if you ladies have any suggestions hit me up!

Follow the money, friends!

Seriously though, does it work? I am loathe to spend any money as I used google adwords once before, spent nearly $100 in a few days and 0 return on it! I've had nothing on my cambuilder at all, nothing shows on any of the stats, yet google analytics tells me i've had 100's click through now. Just recently I tried pimping my cammodels link instead and no luck at all. I put vids up on tube sites with my link.. again, traffic but NO sales. I absolutely suck at this. Really don't want to be wasting money on it as well as time.,

I stopped promoting my white label during the crazy SM glitches that have been happening, but I'm still getting pretty consistent checks. Just looked and have had close to $1K spent on the site in the month of January and a few new joins. These numbers are down from the months I was promoting, but it's hard for me to put my name on something that isn't working 100%, I'm honestly surprised to see new joins still.

it's hard for me to put my name on something that isn't working 100%, I'm honestly surprised to see new joins still.

I had the same thought process when I started "baby's first whitelabel" a few months ago, so it's not connected to my cam name. But even despite this separation, I'm having qualms about promoting a platform that may or may not come down in a puff of server smoke.

Then just last week I realised that what I'm actually interested in is promoting and lifting up specific models, and my qualms calmed down a wee bit.

Hello, everyone! So, I recently stumbled across some blog posts on camming blogs and other adult bussiness related sites that there's an option to build your own camsite, for example, using ModelNet or xCams, or whitelabelling sites like Chaturbate etc. Has anyone tried any of these options and can share experience? I'd love to know more about those because I can't be on cam as much as I used to and can't continue this forever. :-\ Thanks!

Building a white label is one option you can do if you are not able to cam. There are other ways to make money promoting websites, products and other services online if you are not able to cam.

at the moment www.makemoneyadultcontent.com is good resource to look into how to get started in it.

Building websites, and promoting websites, takes time and can be very rewarding for something for long term, basically you do a lot of work up front for about 30 to 90 days, and you see money coming in over time.

It can become full-time income, but it's not always income you want right now. sometimes but typically not.

I was curious if anyone has had any success in owning a white label, lately. By success, I mean very loosely. Has anyone been able to make /any/ money at all within the last couple of years?

I have a streamate white label, and I even pay for add space and upload porn with the site logo edited on it as promotion, but it still says Ive had 0 clicks after 6 weeks of steady at it, every day.
I wanted to give it a fair shot.
After discovering Ive had literally 0 clicks (if the stats section is correct) i felt very discouraged.
I dont need you to give a way your secrets. Just curious if its even worth it. Im not looking for riches, just a bit of passive income and something to do when Im bored or not camming.
Thank you.
The porn ive uploaded to tube sites have collected over 100,00 views in the 6 weeks ive been doing it. Not 1 click(again, im not sure if I believe those stats, ive told friends on different IPs to check it out to see if they liked the colors/logos).

Hey! I was a little confused. You mentioned on your tube sites no clicks for that number of views. Are you only promoting your white label on the tube site? I ask because if so you have some untapped forms of revenue. Do you have multiple blogs? Please do not feel I am criticizing but 100k views over 6 weeks I feel is not enough. Granted, this is from my non adult ventures. You also mentioned ads, are you doing a test run with them? There is money to be made, though I suggest updating your strategy. Research demographics, know your target audience and play around with how/where you advertise. While some say that the market is over saturated, there are still those who succeed. Trial and error. Best of luck with your ventures.

I feel as if 100,000 views should warrant atleast a few clicks. I dont have a blog and I dont have twitter and If I were to make one at this point I feel as if it wouldnt be worth it with friends or followers. I saw a poll at one point, years ago, where it said the number one place people advertised white labels were the tube sites.
