No HD, that's why I didn't buy it. I did the trial and it only works in low definition, really needs HD features. I hope they find a way to make it work in HD

Yeah man they need to make that like STAT! I saw a couple of others but i don't know if they do what i want (basically the beauty filters like the skin smoothing, eyelashes etc like you get on snapchat). The programs I saw are manycam, live photoshop and snap camera. Or maybe there is a way to 'beautify' in adobe premiere/ after effects when you're editing?

Hey ladies!

I LOVE OBS and use it all the time and i have noticed some models lately with filters on their video. Instagram type filters - blur, soften and the one that blurs out around the edges leaving the center clear view.

I've played around with LUT's a little and I've spent hours trying to find the LUTs I'm want to install but I really can't spend all damn day downloading/installing and testing LUTs so I figured I would pick your brains :)

Some of you have super massive awesome tech skills and I'm low/moderately skilled :)

Thank you!

I was playing around and saw that Snap Camera has snapchat filters for your computer. So you would make snap camera the video input in OBS and then set your camera as the input for snap camera. Then you can search and play around with all the filters.

wow i had no idea snap camera existed :O i just seen they have a lens studio where you can create your own filters, their examples are really dramatic but if its possible to create something subtle i will die of happiness ;D.

i had found this like a week ago

skip to 2:59 to see the filter. i'm not sure what he is using but i'm wondering.

OMG! Thank you! I will definitely play with this today :) If I can get it to work right you are an absolute ANGEL! I'm in my 40's and shit is starting to get weird on my face/body and I can't retire yet but I need a little help and a break from putting layers of makeup all over myself :P

I think he said he was using a "Living Photoshop" type of app and he said it runs about 100 pounds..... (not sure of conversion to USD) I may look for that too :) I need something compatible with OBS

I was able to get SnapCamera to work! Thank you!! I've been playing with it for hours! LOL!

Here is a video on how to apply LUT's to OBS for those that are curious :)

You can make your own LUTs using Photoshop. It's quite fun to experiment with. I have made two different ones, but don't really use them anymore.
I'm not sure if you can blur the background on a live stream though, unless your using a DSLR camera & lower F-Stop.

^This. If anyone has read my posts pertaining to webcams/camera's you'll know that I'm kind of obsessed with the cinematic look, high-quality cameras and high-tech equipment. From my research I found that one of the secrets to a cinematic look is color-grading. So.... I've been learning how to color-grade.

With all of the camera's that I've tried I realized that the Logitech c920 is the easiest camera to use. When I was researching yet another camera I came across the video below on how to create LUTs in PS for live streaming.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MF2kOhm03rs
Although the c920 doesn't meet all of my wants (only because I'm picky af and realistically the camera that I want doesn't exist yet) I have found that using a LUT with it does make me a little bit more content because it makes the camera quality look as cinematic as a webcam can look especially if you also add black bars on the top and bottom.

I'm thinking that you maybe able to make a blurry LUT or filter via the blur or smudge tool in PS or any other editing programs that has similar features to PS. I'm thinking the way that you maybe able to do it is follow Alex's steps in regards to adding an adjustment layer and then cut a circle out on that layer using the circle marquee tool so that it would be similar to being within the focal point of a lens or you can just imagine a circle. Outside of that literal or figurative circle you'd use the blur or smudge tool to make the outside of the circle look like bokeh and then save it as a png-24 like Alex did. You can apply it as a LUT like he did or you can add it as an image source...sources>>add source>>images. If you add it as an image source just make sure that it's above your video capture source. Another way you maybe able do it is if you use a layer and drop its opacity or fill percentage down and then use the blur or smudge tool outside of the area of where you think your body will be (again think of focal point) and then save it as a png-24 and add it as a LUT or image source.

The only problem with doing these methods if they do work is that you would have to stay within the circle because if you step out of it you'd be a blurry mess. The best way to get a blurry background is by using a dslr (particularly one with continuous autofocus) with a lens that has a low F-stop like Halo88 said.

Just to report back snap camera works perfectly with very soft webcamsplitter and I successfully used both for my shift on AW last night :)

I installed Snap Camera for fun and found a couple of amazing filters that I would use daily! The app is great except for one major issue. It ran my CPU at about 35% without even streaming or running anything else except OBS. It also showed Very High power usage & the fan sounded like it was ready for takeoff. :(
I'm pretty sure my PC would be fried if I stream with it. Any of you other Snap Camera users experience this?

I used it with Streamate and MFC two weeks ago. My CPU for SM ran at 50%. MFC was around 30%. I noticed whenever I changed my filter the CPU shot up for a bit before it calmed down again. I checked my stream with my phone and it loaded after the usual delay. This of course can vary depending on the viewers tech and connection.

Oh bummer this doesn't work in HD. I didn't realise so glad I checked here - ha!

I downloaded the free trial yesterday and was going to try it out splitcamming next week..not at the expense of HD though. Such a shame!

I have ManyCam - as soon as I open the program, it takes up 40% of my MacBook Pro CPU and that's only streaming in 720 at 60 fps. I emailed their support about beautify aspects - they don't have any.

SnapCamera is fun but my indy customers dont want to see me with hearts, dog ears, or sparkles in the background. Plus Snapchat is very anti pornography so I wonder what their TOS state for webcam usage.

I really wanted YouCam but it's not Mac compatible :( :( :(

Any other options out there for live feeds/pictures on Mac that is easy to use in real time?

I'm not sure where to post this. So sorry if this is the wrong place.

So I'm kinda new to onlyfans, I've only been on there for about 2 months. The problem I have is I'm like addicted to my snapchat beauty filter when I take pictures and videos, but snapchat cuts my videos off at 1 minute, and it's getting annoying to keep restarting it, and some fans have given me a hard time about me trying to make sexy videos that keeps resetting every 60 seconds. Do any of you know either an app that will apply snapchat quality beauty filters and allow me to take longer videos, or something I can use on a windows computer afterwards that will let me take a unfiltered video and like apply a beauty filter to it afterwards without me needing to learning photoshop. I'm fine to pay for something as long as it works. I downloaded a few apps, but it would only record if I was holding the record button down. I'm wanting to setup my phone on a ring light and use a little remote to start the video so those just weren't good options for me.

thanks and sorry again if this is in the wrong place.

OBS can be used as a beauty filter, while using less CPU than software. I used these tips to get the best filter effect through OBS. If you play around with filters, you can achieve a high quality, beautifying effect.

I see that I need to take a crash course in OBS for Mac. I had OBS on my last iMac, but I couldn't get it to work for the site I was using.
