To this I would also add that often our perceptions of ourselves are not true reflections. It would be interesting to give the quiz to someone who knows you really well and have them answer it for you and see what you come out with. I would bet my left nut it would be a different combo. ;)
Good point! I took it for my husband who I've known for 13 years, he was an INTJ. He took it himself, he was an INFP like me. Such different results!

ISFJ-T - The Defender

This is kind of funny because from highschool up through a few months ago I was an INFJ. Apparently camming has made me more sensitive/sentinel rather than just intuitive? And I've never been 'turbulent' before either. Interesting.

I'm ENTP. I want to debate these results. Ha! Touche...

Another INFP. I knew that already, but I took the test again: "You see yourself as very emotionally stable." HA! Sure ::)

IDK, I'm an introvert, but my persona def isn't.

INTP, so basically I'm introverted and focus more on my own thoughts than the outside world. True, true. There's definitely a few reasons I chose camming over stripping, and being alone in my home is a big part of it.

I am not surprised there are so many introverts here...I am however, very pleased at not being the sole INTJ. I have always tested as such. Very interesting. =)

I am an INTP as well.... I know for sure I am not cut out to work for other people. :-)

Got ENTJ-T the Commander but 1 year before camming I was tested as INTP the Logician (yeah Popular Mechanics mag and math get me wet, bb)
I am under a lot of stress these days so it might affect the results.

ISFJ for me, INTJ for my partner (and dear God don't I know it). I don't think anyone is cut out to work for other people, its one of the charms of this business.

LOL! My bf is INTJ, so maybe I'm biased, but I think the _NTJs are awesome! I'm an INTP with ADD, so I love that _NTJs think like me, but have that J to make sure that they get shit done. When I look at them, I feel like "Oh, so that's what I'd be like if I were a superhero!"

ESFJ.
I'm sure I wasnt popular at school, or now. But do have a big circle of friends and love being kept in the loop. However, I get to a point and just think sod it and retract and leave everyone else to it. I'm there at the moment.

I'm an INFP and I can definitely confirm that my emotions lead me to not staying at home long enough to cam and scheduling badly.

Since it's a test you do yourself according to how you feel about yourself, I get different results sometimes. Usually INTP, sometimes ENFP if I'm feeling especially... outgoing and loving.

I did it again, got ENTP-T.

Another INFP here. I'm not too surprised that we're well-represented here, since we get to do our own thing pretty much all the time, and camming can be a good creative outlet too!
I kind of think it'd be fun to take the test as my persona, you know? Like, answer all the questions the way my work-self would answer them. I wonder how different it would be?

I always get either ENTJ or ENFJ and honestly, I see both "the teacher" and "the fieldmarshal" in myself. I'm very goal driven, love long-term planning, can be controlling/bossy at times, i always think i know whats best. but I'm also compassionate and sensitive, and I love to help others lead fulfilling lives and motivate them to achieve their goals.

INTJ. Have had multiple tests through out my adult life. Always the same. I've even tried fooling with the test. Nope.
Not sure about the super hero thing. Self admitted sloth over here.

INFJ - What I usually get taking the original M-B test...

But for this one I got:

The mediator: INFP-T (turbulent 93% LOL)

I had to take this test years ago as part of a job interview. I'd actually been doing the job quite well as a temp for 6 months, but they didn't want an ISTJ so I was let go the day they got the results. But yes, I find it to be very accurate.

That's kind of ridiculous actually. It may be "spot on," but also carries the scientific weight of a zodiac sign or phrenology (or palm readings for that matter). Its exactly this kind of HR pseudo-science that makes me very happy I'll never be back in a "real job" again.

Completely agree with KatyBoleyn, I can't believe a business would let go of someone who was doing the job well because of their Myers-Briggs type. It's like letting somebody go because of the results of some buzzfeed "Which Game of Thrones character are you?" quiz.

I mean, it's fun and all - as is astrology - but there's no science to it really.

I'm an INTJ. I'm seeing that we're very over-represented in the cam world! (0.8% of the population, somehow at least 25% of this thread). What appeals to my INTJ brethren about camming? For me it's:

- I choose when/how to interact with folks. Very much a "like it or leave" customer relations job.
- People tell me how great I am and I'm like, I kno rite.
- Constantly learning new things - about the human condition, sales, fetishes, you name it
- Systematic. If I put in X, Y comes out, money-wise.

INTP. I've always gotten that result, so I think it's pretty accurate for me at least.

INTP after a couple years of camming. The first time I took this, about 15 years ago when I was in my first year of university, I was ENFP. I like the idea of having the hubs answer the questions to see if he comes up with INTP as well.

Wow! It's great too see so many intj and intp personalities here. In case anyone is interested, here's the difference between the J and P

I'm an entp-a. It's perfect for a sales job (as I love persuading others) & agreeable for someone who does a lot of fetish work (learning something new and absorbing knowledge is always a priority). When I was a kiddo, I'd get extremely competitive with girl scout cookie sales. 5 years running, I sold record numbers for my district (it was in the thousands on more than one occasion). I was lucky enough to have parents who are very much into everyone being an individual, so solo sports were where I dominated. But unless I'm super engaged by something, I become bored fast.

As far as camming, I feel as though it makes me a fairly fast thinking, insightful, & generally well rounded cammer. Whilst domming, I'm a destroyer of worlds type.

All that said, myer-briggs tests are definitely not what I'd consider insanely accurate... but it was a fun test.

Same.
It pains me to have to be social. But, I'm a great actress, so people are always fooled.
They actually THINK I like all that attention.
Nope.:crying::no:

ESFP-T here...lol at Turbulent... oh the good ol' dayz...
I honestly did not see myself as an Entertainer... apparently that's what I am. Well, in that case... I might as well act like one, when on cam! LOL. When I finally GTFO later...

PS: Oh and yes, I did the test for hubby too, asking him the questions. What he answered was quite a bit different from what I knew about him, lol. He is lucky though, that I am wise enough now to know that how people see others is through the way they are, not as a objective reality, so I did not argue, haha.

INFP taken several tests which all came out as INFP except once an INFJ. INFP suits me well & I'm the Assertive type.

INFP - This seems to be an introverts dream job (in some ways - stopping and logging off when needed to regroup, etc.) and nightmare in some ways (the "peopling" aspect - and when you have to stay on just to make goal and you were "peopled out" 2 hours ago).

My husband doesn't understand how I get "peopled" out when I cam and why I need quiet and no conversation when I am done. I literally need hours of not talking when i am done to regroup. I actually changed my schedule so I can just go to bed shortly after I log off just to hit my refresh button.

I'm also an HSP so it's a double edged sword. Someone can say something stupid and fucked up to me and it sticks. I can't always just let it roll off. The death and rape threats usually fuck me up for days..... UGH... I empathize too much with clients that are going through hard times and then they become emotional vampires because I'm a "good listener".... Then I feel guilty for cutting them off....
