Yesterday I had my check flight on the C-208b Cessna Caravan, my first turbine powered aircraft. For those who doesn’t know, a turbine engine is more or less a jet engine fitted with a propeller, meaning more available power and much more reliability.
I just have to say it was a blast to fly! Even though its a basic plane with fixed gear and not really that fast, feeling the power of the turbine was just a thrill! Absolutely no vibrations at all, I mean, when you fly fly a piston powered aircraft you feel the engine struggle when going flat out, but here you just felt the power like being endless as you just noticed the torque and fuel flow gauge rise! Yeah, I know I’m a nerd..
CONGRATULATIONS! How cool can anything get? That thing is a flying pickup (even more SO than a Cessna 180)

Aren't they supposed to be little kids? When my Daughter was a little kid she used to watch Powerpuff Girls reruns. I'll admit I'm not all up on it but as I recall they were little kids.

That's awesome! I love the Piaggio P.180 Avanti propjet. If I was rich, I would buy one.

It's not bad. It's a little weird. Superman and Lois both move to Smallville. Clark gets fired from the Daily Planet, and Lois quits. They have two kids. And Lois gets a job at the local newspaper. It's a different take on Superman, but I watch it. I don't, so far, think it's bad at all. It's definitely a CW show, though. Lois has a big role, though, and that's good. Her name is in the title, after all. She's usually portrayed as the screaming Brunette. Not so in this.

I liked the first one. Tolerated the second one. Didn't even watch the third one. Kinda like the Robocop movies.

Godzilla Vs. Kong.
I've watched it probably ten times since it came out on HBO Max. It's a great movie. The Titan fights are amazing, the Human stuff is... better than the last one, lets put it that way. I've loved Godzilla since I was a little kid, so this is right up my alley. This is my favorite of the Monsterverse.

I still think it looks bad. I'll wait for the reviews. It's a bunch of kids as the Ghostbusters? Count me out, personally.

Really enjoying "Invincible" on Amazon. I was on the fence about it at first until I saw the voice cast. They had me at JK Simmons and Walt Goggins.

Saw Army of the Dead, what a terrible movie, it had 4 separate sci fi elements in the movie (aside from zombies) that they never addressed or even used again.
The Nevers was pretty good but Whedon's tropes are getting a bit too repetitive.

I really tried to get into The Nevers, but I just couldn't care enough about the characters. I did watch Shadow and Bone twice on Netflix.

Penance Adair is an amazing character

She is essentially a toned down Kaleey from Firefly who was also pretty great. (and literally the only other example I can think of)

I may give it another chance...I dunno. As for Army of The Dead, welp it did get a lot of laughs out of me. It looks like they set it up for a sequel. Perhaps this is where they'll explain story plots that went nowhere? There's one major revelation that got my attention, but I fear I may reveal too much if I mention it. However if it didn't go anywhere in the movie is it really a spoiler?

The movie is so weird, like a grade schooler got handed 100 million + to make a movie and decided to just add things that sound cool, oh it will have zombies, and dinosaurs, and fortnite (obviously not spoiling since it is not true :)).
The focus and depth of field were ghastly (go to 22 seconds in if you don't want mild spoilers)
https://youtu.be/OxcrNPqaZuI?t=22
Lastly the song selection... picking Zombie by the Cranberries (a song about the Troubles in Ireland) and make it literally about... Zombies.
Zack Snyder is a complete hack I can't believe I liked two of his movies...

^^ I think they'll get him back. If not, instead of recasting, they should do a Bumblebee in the meantime.
What I really want to see return in some form is Megas XLR. Hardly anyone remembers it but I loved it. I was just watching some eps on YouTube and Bruce Campbell plays a MODOK-like villain in ep 2.

Mark Hamill is at his best playing the Joker. We constantly observe how actors playing in some films perform worse in others. Probably it depends on the story, the emotions that the actor lives in the film. By the way, have you heard of telemedicine app development solutions for organizations looking to improve their workflow? Could they use that while shooting films? (https://s-pro.io/telemedicine-development)
