Does anyone know where to find good quality sports bras that last without that dumb padding that falls out in each wash?

I like Berlei and Shock Absorber for sports bras. I hate that padding.

People in real estate or have bought homes, what are your thoughts on using a realtors recommendation for inspector? I have read over and over not to but I ended up scheduling with them for a few reasons. They were the easiest to get a quote from, I like their report template and they are all certified. But now the sellers are refusing to let me do a pre-inspection walk through with a contractor friend. And I'm not going to have any idea what I'm looking at during the inspection, so now I'm worried about conflict of interest or kick backs between them. What have other people done? In general I think my realtor is trustworthy...but sales is sales.

Now the process of taking down and storing Halloween decorations begins. Wasn’t a small job setting it all up, and taking them down won’t be, either.

I’m curious what did everyone do for Halloween?

Handed out candy, scared a couple of the kiddos (including my friend from the community’s) shitless with decorations. In an incident I posted about earlier, a coworker from my side job showed up with his wife and children. Rather than being in a costume, he just kept his work uniform on. So I gave him shit about that, watched a 40 year man turn into a kid again when I handed both of the parents a bag of candy as well and he found out it included two full-size candy bars, and gave his wife a glass of wine which she just pounded like how frat boys do with beer. Also, my hair is in a French braid again, but this time with some strands of purple and blue which S expertly worked in, so it’ll be back a bunch of shit with being called the “lunch lady” at work again, because I have those cafeteria worker head coverings in order to keep stuff out of my hair (which is a very real concern when you do what I do for work).

Partner and I carved pumpkins, then roasted the seeds to snack on. Mine caved in, but his turned out amazing of course :P Then I made us a nice steak dinner and we watched Halloween movies. It was a nice night :)

We're keeping our décor up for a little longer before we take it down. Halloween is my favorite holiday to decorate for, lol

Entertaining Revenge thoughts, hmm.

Also, my neighbor kid lost his hamster..that kid should not have animals. He already has a bunny he ignores, & a mouse, same.
Dad told him to put him in cage, & the kid walked off & left it in the room>:(
He (dad) looked all through his room, he believes it could have ran in my room. There's just so much junk in there. I also had moved things cause maintenance guy was working in there.
I took my flashlight, kinda looked, nada.
They're nocturnal, so Im drinking tea to stay awake, hope to find him. Damn!
Really hope he's found safe. I googled how to find lost hamster

The room I rented is super comfy. :)
So happy with this damn house but it taunts me because it's super nice ( I can't afford it without room mates and that makes me sad ). Haha.
I have been scoping the home builders site for days and it's just ....... out of reach currently. ;/
I need to say it as " currently " because ....someday!

Roomies are really great though ! I think I'm at that settled spot where I am feeling comfy. It's been a week since I moved in.

What is it with guys and refusing to learn basic home ec skills when they’re younger? Like, do they think that, if they actually learn their way around a kitchen the Teletubbies will suddenly invade their ass and leave them dressing up like Boy George?

Coworker paid me to take my pickup and help him pick up some furniture, because he drives an Accord (smart choice of car, but a bit small for what he was doing). So we get everything into his place, he tells me I’m welcome to grab something from the fridge, so I open it up to get a bottle of water, and all I see is (aside from some bottled water), beer, pop, and microwaveable “meals”. And some leftover takeout. All condiments are packets from fast food places. So I ask if this is how he eats, then I look through the kitchen and there’s just… nothing. I’d lose my fucking head living like that. Just some basic utensils, no cookware, no cutlery… but he has all of the latest and greatest video game consoles and a massive tv. Understandable somewhat for a 21 year-old just in his first month of living on his own. This guy’s 33, though.

^ Yeah they often don’t make the connection between learning to cook ( even just a little ) and saving $$.

I need to have “ grab and go “ food on hand .

J’s house sometimes seems lean on food but he’s very generous ordering good food.

I bring groceries over sometimes to help out but also to create a comfy food stock pile.

^^ Omg! That's funny. I used to have this engineer dude from care.com website who paid me just to come over and cook food for him. He claimed to not have any time to cook but I think in reality he probably didn't know how because he had no cooking utensils or spices. My ex was the same way. He was 38 years old and still had his mommy bringing over homecooked meals for him until I moved in.

I’m sticking with my teletubbies theory. Which bring me to another point of how homophobic they can be yet their humor so homoerotic. Especially ones who’d been in the military.

I need to have “ grab and go “ food on hand .

I always keep a couple Costco rotisserie chickens (with all meat stripped off and put into bags), shredded cheese (again from Costco), tortillas (typically from Food Lion or Trader Joe’s), along with some salsa and sour cream on hand. It’s pretty much a staple here, since we’re all quite busy and don’t always have time to cook proper meals.

This just reinforces the notion for me that I’m better off single. At least those in this house all share the burden - it’s not just me doing it all, and I never had to badger them to do their part. I’ll give the guy credit in one area. He has cleaning supplies and uses them. He’s not living like a slob. Which is much better than some of these nightmare boyfriends I hear about.

What is it with guys and cooking?.

Men are basically children in adult bodies.
They do what they want, when they want.
They listen to NO amount of reasoning (written or verbal) unless they want to, which they don't, in the matters I described.

From what I see, most have been raised having their mom or other relatives cook, clean, & coddle them. The one guy upstairs (his gf over a lot)was the grandson of the lady who moved, she told me she never charged him rent. Then, he started having his girl over, she made him move upstairs.::)
Once I asked him to take his grandma some mail, "sure". Never got done, I had to take it to her, (10 steps away)::)

Which, I don't mind his gf so much, except when he/she leaves his fucking dishes, sometimes the other guy washes them, but he's known to leave messes too.
He has a young child, the kid does remote school so he does deal with a lot.

Btw, we have a broken old dishwasher, landlord could get an inexpensive one, but won't. Ever.

I should know, living w/4 of them.
Absolutely nothing gets done unless I do it. I just finished: cleaning the stovetop, (oven needs it too, but fuck it), wiping countertops, kitchen table, & microwave. & sweeping kitchen floor. I needed to mop, but ain't. I mostly take out the kitchen trash.

Don't get me started on their bathroom.TG I have my own
I still have whiplash & neck pain, despite much treatment, tried to get a hold of a recommended Dr, could not.
I have arthritis too.

Then I went around the w/gel roach bait.
I have traps down too, & had to make a specific note tooleave them.the.fuckALONE!
YES, they were being thrown away.

This lady & her guy moved out of the little house (TG!), but, he always took the (full) dumpsters to the curb for p/u. I can take back the emptys only, the one guy does have bad knees, hip problems. & the little boy. So he can't.

I will have to make/ cajole this one guy take the dumpster s, if not, the rest will happily let the garbage overflow til whenever.

Also, I personally don't cook here (other than microwave, or heating pizza in the oven,) as its too disgusting for me to deal with the kitchen, I don't really wanna se them either!

I got my dog a new wet food he really likes and he keeps eating it too fast and getting sick. So I started sitting with him while he eats and holding his bowl away after each bite and the poor guy gets so confused. He keeps doing silly things to get his food back faster like walking to my other side, getting up and then re-sitting or just giving me big sad eyes like "mommy?!"

I’d go for the dining outside option. I like dining outside on a nice day, provided I’m not being swarmed by mosquitoes. As an added bonus, if I am dining alone and find myself getting serenaded with, “Hey girl, why you sitting by yourself.”, it’s fun to watch their reactions when I act like I’m having a breakdown and say something like, “I have 15 cats at home, and I still love them all, but sometimes I JUST NEED TO GET AWAY FOR A MINUTE, OKAY?!”. Or something else. I always think of something to say that runs them off and amuses me.

Perhaps I’m destined for that to become reality, but I can laugh about it now, at least.

Immune support, I guess tumeric, I get those little 'shots' liquid things they have.

I haven't gone into work for literally weeks. I've been feeling so down and stressed. Also, my sleep schedule's ruined, which I'm sure is contributing to the depression. Waking up when it's starting to get dark out really gets to me for some reason.
But I'm staying up all night (woke up at 5pm) and going in at open, hanging in there for as long as I can!! I HAVE to get back on track. Probably not the best idea, but whatever. I'll load up on coffee and do OF stuff while it's slow so I don't get tired during the slow periods. Wish me luck :D

I’m mad at my mom and it’s illogical somewhat.
She approved a late check out for vrbo guests ( 2 p.m. ) and then my friends are checking in at the same time.
:(
I can’t have our usual cleaners.
So I have to do it now and it’s a grey cloud over the day.
My friend is giving me an original peice of art for comping his stay.
I want to give him the " full " experience not have it looking weird an arrival.

My day is shot now .
I’ll be there spying to see if these damn people leave by 1:45 so I can rush clean for my friends check in time I told them last week.
This is 90 minutes wasted going over there for this.

Late check outs as an overall *policy* at our place should be a NO GO . I
t's too hard to do a same day guest turn over without at least a few hours between.
If guests are stuck a bit they can leave luggage but they should be out by Noon very latest ( our standard check out is 11 ).
