^^I agree, if someone wants a huge ass let them have it. I don't care for the look either, but I'm sure plenty of people would think my big fake tits are tacky as hell too. Diff strokes for diff folks.
The next ideal body type can't come soon enough for me.
This is why I don't know why people get so bent out of shape over the media's body ideals......they are always changing. Different body types have been going in and out of style since the beginning of humanity.
As for my own random thoughts, today is my birthday and I just wanted to stay home and work because I don't give a crap about my birthday and Sunday is usually my busiest day. Aaaaand cut to me having a freakishly slow shift. I really wish I had just gone to my friend's house instead. I am jazzed though because she sent me a $100 Urban Outfitters giftcard because she knows I always shop there and I got this amazing shirt: http://www.urbanoutfitters.com/urban/catalog/productdetail.jsp?id=41743873
I ruined so many of my computers with napster back in the day, that was my shit. :heartbeat
I saw this shirt btw and showed it to her because we hate when people tell us to smile: http://www.urbanoutfitters.com/urban/catalog/productdetail.jsp?id=41869561&color=080&category=MORE_IDEAS She said she wants on that says not to tell her she looks tired too LOL.

Udemy.com is a goldmine! I've heard about it, but stumbled upon an article in Business Insider about the top courses for 10$ USA and bought two courses : Bodylanguage for Entrepreneurs and their top-selling MBA in 1 course created by a former Goldman Sachs investor. Currently going through one and am truly surprised, would totally recommend.
I'm totally obsessed!

My friend with a master's in English literature just went back to her old job working as a waitress. I was going to fill out fafsa and go back to school this year but seeing that makes me wonder if there's even a point.

This topic might need its own thread, but- after reading about a crazy true life love triangle scandal that involved two unattractive women.....I got to thinking about how (in my life) I've noticed that homely women are apt to perpetuate negative drama & crave attention.
Maybe I'm used to seeing attractive AND confident women because I work at strip clubs?
I don't want to go on & on about it because it sounds mean-spirited.
On the same topic I worked with a not-cute woman at my regular job & we hated each other almost immediately. She just seemed fundamentally unhappy & I know my air of shamelessness & occasional rudeness rubbed her the wrong way.
TD; DR- Really hot women have more options in life & everyone knows it....

Brought my little niece and four of her little friends to hibachi grill. I thought it's a fun trip for them since hibachi always has little performance before the meal. But little i know that it's hard to keep 5 noisy kids in control all by myself. I swear to god, some girls were born as bitches, drama queens. The cooker lit the fire over the onion volcano and this girl... scream like siren. " Fire! fire! call 991, call 911" There was not a slice of scary on her face, all i saw was excitement of making a scene.

So I really think one of my coworkers used to dance too. I had a feeling before and she has had a bunch of surgery, then today I saw a old picture that looked like a dressing room pic in a stripper bikini. I will never say anything but the real vanilla chicks are talking.

Been wanting to get my lips done for the longest but so scared. Maybe after taxes and paying off my 3rd BA.
Do it!! I love mine and literally nobody knows I've gotten them lol. Everyone just says 'wow you look really good' but they don't know why. If I ever tell anyone I've been getting injections they're like really?! I guess cause I haven't gotten too crazy with it.. yet ;D hehe jk
---
But anyway my random thought is I had some cosmetic surgery today!! It's a total secret from everyone in my personal life besides my sister. I dont get to see the results until tomorrow and then i fly back home on Friay.. but I really hope it looks good.
I'm making 2017 my makeover year!

Because some of my friends and some family don't know I dance, I've cultivated a habit of not talking about work much because I dislike having to lie and would rather just change the subject as soon as I naturally can.
I think this is great for my mental health because now I hardly ever talk about work to the people who know either. When I'm not talking talking about work, I'm not thinking about work either. Work takes up a very small percentage of my mental space and I hardly think about work when Im not there.
Its awesome because I feel like I can get the most out of my days before I leave for work and see work as just some small part of my day, instead of seeing the time before work as "the stuff I do before work".

How I'm currently feeling :
Don: By love you mean big lightning bolts to the heart, where you can't eat and you can't work, and you just run off and get married and make babies. The reason you haven't felt it is because it doesn't exist. What you call love was invented by guys like me...to sell nylons.
Don: You're born alone and you die alone and this world just drops a bunch of rules on top of you to make you forget those facts, but I never forget... I'm living like there's no tomorrow, 'cause there isn't one.
Don: Advertising is based on one thing, happiness. And you know what happiness is? Happiness is the smell of a new car. It's freedom from fear. It's a billboard on the side of the road that screams reassurance that whatever you are doing is okay. You are okay.

I was at a cocktail yesterday and telling two people I know about a weird guy who invited me out on a date. A hot tall stranger standing next to us said : first, is he rich ? second, is he hot ? I said no and no, he replied then you don't go or you ask him to take you to the most expensive restaurant in town and then you say goodbye. I actually find it very refreshing it's a guy telling me this LOL! Not that bullcrap men say about women who have to pay for their own meals because of gender equality, being gold diggers because we want to be treated to a nice restaurant.

Me : My family is poor.
Classmate : Your family is probably not that poor, mine is, my dad is an engineer.
Me: (laughs) Engineers are not poor.
Classmate: They don't make that much money.
Me: More than my family (my parents work at factories, but I won't tell that to strangers).
Classmate: Well you don't dress or talk like your family is poor.
Lol hopefully I don't talk or write like I work at a factory, otherwise I wouldn't be in law school.

Seriously, is it now common for guys to expect you to pay on the first date bc of equality? I have yet to encounter such a thing. I thought it was losers/cheap assholes who expect women to pay?

Lol, girl, I dated this one guy recently for several months, and he was exactly like this. Total turn-off. He expected me to pay for my own meal most of the time. He and I even went out of town to celebrate my birthday, and he made me pay half of the motel cost and for the bus ride back! Mind you, this was a cheapass Motel 6! Wtf! I broke up with him shortly afterwards on Xmas Eve. I couldn't take his cheapness anymore.
I am done dating any guys for now. I'm happy as fuck to be single. But if I ever date a man again, he better be rich and generous, otherwise I'm out. lol

I feel really tired and lethargic lately. I think it might be the winter finally catching up to me. We've actually been really lucky with mild (and sometimes downright warm) weather for the most part. Only a couple ice storms and one real snow. But that doesn't change the fact that it's always GRAY outside, and the sun is only up for a few hours.

I make cimichurri! It holds a long time in the fridge too, but if you have a big house hold not so much. Love it on a nice charred steak.

A custy ordered me a wig and it came in the mail today! Long synthetic wig with a lacefront parting, black roots and the rest is grey. I LOVE it! I'd been looking into exploring wigs for a bit, watching videos on how to make them look natural ect, and at first I was a little skeptical about whether or not I could pull it off but it looks amazing to me. My hair's taken a beating these past two years with all the ritualistic straightening I do, so it'll be nice to look hot on cam while giving my hair a break. I can't wait to test it out on cam, and I can even do some more makeup exploration with all these different hair colors.
The quality of the synthetic is really nice too, and since I've worked with synthetic hair styling my whole life (doll collectorrrrr) it was a piece of cake to fix it up my way. So excited!

I always wonder how my body would've looked by now if I hadn't been a dancer. I am really glad I danced all these years because I think it's the only thing that has kept from getting too out of shape/chunky. I think if I didn't have a job where I had to walk and dance in a bikini on weekends, I would definitely have fully let myself go. It's a scary thought and makes me determined to stick to a regime that will keep me in shape even after I retire. But that won't be for a while :)

This is part of a discussion on reddit (regarding the Casey Anthony case) I'm posting it here because I've noticed these things about particular strip club regs I've dealt with-
Cindy had a good professional job, but George worked as a security guard at a movie theater and churned through jobs at a very high rate. I definitely respect that people have different opinions on the case than I do (lots of my readers disagree with me on the case), but I disagree that George is as normal as he was portrayed in the media. He was a compulsive liar, possibly a compulsive gambler, and seemed to have a sex addiction. He also fabricated a story about the day Caylee died as well as about several incidents afterward while being interviewed by police. There's something distinctly abnormal about the way he deals with everyday life.
It really jumped out at me because I need to get better at not being abrasive towards strip club regs who are "different." I often attract that kind of customer but sometimes I come on too strong with my opinions & ruin my chances of getting a VIP or re-upping dances.

Omg I just watched the movie Christine about the news anchor woman who shot herself on live TV in the 70s. They actually recreate the entire suicide and it is so intense and even though I knew it was coming it was so shocking.
I've seen a shooting suicide video before because I was learning about this other guy who did that on live TV around the same time. That one was way more graphic than this was, but this scene in the movie was more shocking somehow. I think because you're following her life for almost two hours you really get to know her and then bam it happens. And maybe the way it's filmed it's almost like you're there in the room with her. Idk it was just a crazy movie.

I had a dream last night that my hair fell out so bad that I had next to nothing left, like I woke up and it was all over my pillow and I was crying hysterically trying to figure out if I had enough left to hide it with extensions. Fucking awful. Then I woke up and was so glad to have hair that I almost cried in real life.

Okay I just decided what I want to do and I'm really excited for it!!
So instead of waiting around for my broke unavailable friends to do anything fun with me I'm going to do it myself but make it productive too. This summer (since that's slow season for TX anyway) I want to do kind of a strip trip but not a long one since I have a dog. So maybe just on the weekends or every other weekend pick a city to go work in and sight see as well. I know this isn't anything new to some people lol but really the only time I've travelled to work has been to come out here and when I drove an hour & a half to a club back home.
I just really want to travel and I don't think I need to wait until I have someone who'll go with me (cause who knows when that would ever happen). Maybe a quick 3 days in a new city would be a fun little trip and I'll end up visiting all the places I've wanted to see (Austin, Miami, Portland, Charlotte, NYC - I've been but I love it and want to go again, etc). So I won't be going just to make money but I could spend 2 nights working and the 3rd night exploring the city so I'm not just blowing money while I'm there. Plus when I'm finally retired from dancing I want to be able to say I got more from this job than just material things.
I'm excited!

I *kind of* understand inflating what you made in the dressing room.
I do not understand inflating your figures on the internet. You do not know any of these girls in real life. Who the fuck cares?
I don't see why it's such a big thing for a girl to admit that she 'only' makes XYZ a night.... even if you have a 'bad' night (for a stripper!) & make $200 in 4 hours, you are still making $50/hour, which is well over the hourly wage of basically anyone who is not a doctor or top 10% lawyer. But that's shameful somehow?
(Inspired by the fact that I keep seeing threads where girls are asking for hustle advice and then see them in another thread bragging about how much they make and how little they do for it :rotfl: Obviously you are lying in one of the threads and I'd happily hazard a guess as to which... )

I'm feeling pretty impressed with my mom right now, we never really talk about sex work or feminism with each other because it never really comes up, she's really open-minded so I've never really wondered about her opinions either, we tend to feel very similarly about almost everything. But she was going off today on people who bash Donald Trump for being sexist then turn right around and slut-shame Melania for her 'sleazy modeling past,' she was like "Not everyone comes from money, not everyone is going to have parents to pay for an amazing education, not everyone has family members that can pull career strings for them, if someone is going to shame a woman for doing what she has to do to make money they are not a feminist." I was like PREACH.
