But, I want to add just cause something's organic, natural, etc, it can still be irritating!
That is right. Just think about poison ivy. It is natural, organic and irritating as heck.

Costco has Olaplex 3 on their website now for members. I've never tried it, but people rave about it! $37 for two containers, shipping included. I'll report back if there are any newsworthy results.

I love Costco. On occasion they have makeup in stock (high end, no cheap stuff) and their pharmacy is awesome.
Beauty Random- I lucked into some Wen hair conditioner & I'll try it eventually. The conditioner looks like wax! it's so heavy.

Yes! They'll randomly carry super nice stuff without even advertising it. You have to walk around the store to see it or search online. They've recently had the Alterna Caviar hair products in the store, for example, and their website has everything from Sisley to SKII to La Mer to Peter Thomas Roth, among many other high-end products.

I want to stop fucking around with random skincare products and find a regimen to stick to. A retinol and a vitamin c product (everything else can be inexpensive, like hyaluronic acid serums, moisturizers, etc. ).
On that note, have any of you tried Skinceuticals? I'm eyeing their C/E/Ferulic product, as everyone online raves about it. The company seems legit.

...Does one the new Juicy perfumes smell like maple syrup? I spritzed from the sample bottle when I was at the drugstore yesterday and was shocked/appalled that I smelled MAPLE. I really like one of the other Juicy fragrances that came out a couple years back so I was expecting something similar. Oh well if you didn't know now I warned you.

Why not try the Ordinary?
Way less $, great brand.
theordinary.com, or Sephora
I've tried pretty much everything from the ordinary and no longer use any of their products. I don't like how they separate active ingredients into so many different products (requiring you to know how to mix and match), they often have products with high concentrations of ingredients (which doesn't necessarily make the ingredients more effective, they're often just harsher on sensitive skin), and i never noticed any positive effects from their innovative products. Shrugs. I liked their inexpensive oils, but now i just buy them from fourth ray beauty (which offers not only oils, but other products that i like as well, such as their face milks). To each their own!
I'm just at a place where I'd rather pay more money for products that have been scientifically proven to be effective and have synergistic ingredients that are known to have positive results. No more experimental skincare for me, thanks! I'll pony up the cash for a simple, effective routine.

We will have a pin-up style week here. I have some vintage-like clothes, so that's not a problem. But making a pin-up hairstyle seemed to be a trial for me. The thing is I have to make it very quick. I've found a guide on how to make the hairstyle I like:

But my blowdryer is too old, I have to choose another one. Found some , hope it will be ok. I'll appreciate some other quick styling tips.

I bought Revlon One-Step Hair Dryer & Volumizer Hot Air Brush on Amazon and got it Today and Omg I love it. I kept seeing such great reviews for it on line and I tried it and seems to work really well. It got my thin frizzy hair looking like i just got out of the salon. I'm hoping to not ever have to use my straightener again

Fildena 120 Mg is a potent remedy for erectile dysfunction (ED). As it contains Sildenafil Citrate as the major component, the penis gets more blood for erection due to its vasodilating and PDE5 inhibiting properties.

Those of you that do your own coloring at home, I have to say that the L'oreal Color Zap from Sally Beauty Supply is awesome! It removed all the black box dye out of my hair without much damage & for only $8 (all color removers are 30% off). I was skeptical at first but it took me back to a nice golden blonde for my next punky color I'm doing tmrw :)

Another amazing find for myself this week :) Dr. Teals Himalayan salt renewal scrub at Target. It's super exfoliating & didn't leave my skin feeling that nasty oily residue most scrubs leave behind. I think I paid $5 for a good size jar that should last me at least a month or so.
I basically just wet my body, then scrubbed it all over with that stuff for a few minutes, then rinsed it off. Skin feels so clean & took off those gross little pimples off my arms :)

There was a guy in LA that used to do this.
He also did ' Skin Rolling' which is a kind of pinching of the skin.
Most of his clients were women, and he was always booked solid.
He charged $150 ( back in the 80's that was a lot).
Smart guy.

In November, I'm getting a "liquid rhinoplasty"--aka Juverm in my nose. Excited to see how it goes bc I've wanted a rhino on and off for a while. This should be a good trial run. I'm getting invisalign on 10/15, woot! Going with a highly regarded orthodontist. The consultation and office experience were very similar to going to a consultation with a plastic surgeon, tbh. Beautiful office, lots of 'before' photos taken, xrays, digital simulation of results. They don't charge more for invisalign, and since I'm a relatively simple case, it was the clear way to go. Their office is only a few minutes from where i live and highly rated on google. Definitely a luxe experience compared to going to a family dentist.
I always think it's kind of funny how, when you go to a plastic surgeon (like for my rhino) or to an orthodontist (like now, for braces/ invisalign), the thing you considered to be a minor imperfection barely worth the effort to correct, and the thing that your family and friends think you're crazy for wanting to change, is always treated as an obvious and very worthy thing to correct when you're talking to the doctor. Does that make sense? Like, i walked in thinking i might have to point out what i wanted corrected or justify my desire to perfect my teeth, but there was no questioning of the worth-it factor, and the orthodontist immediately made note of every opportunity he was seeing for improvement. I like that! It can feel oddly reassuring and validating when you're used to people questioning why you want to improve yourself.
Obviously these doctors want you to purchase their services, of course. But it's not like my orthodontist was making stuff up in his observations. He could see everything i was seeing and more when it came to potential for improvements. I like that validation. Like, yeah, my teeth are fine, but let's take this to the next level. I'm not trying to be a model...i just want to look like my best self. And as i get older (I just turned 31, though i look younger since my self care is finally starting to pay off), i feel like having great teeth becomes an important part of aging well. Having nice skin, teeth, hair, and a fit body can keep someone looking great as they age, and i have a lot of control over those elements.
They include everything in the price quote - including all visits, aligners, future retainers, minor tooth filing to achieve that perfect look I'm going for, etc. I hate having to deal with additional fees, so I'm very happy. They're billing my insurance for comprehensive ortho care (not cosmetic), so my delta dental enhanced is covering $2,000. The original cost of everything was a smidge over $6k. So, $6k minus $2k insurance, minus $2k I'm using from an old HSA, minus about $200 courtesy discount for paying upfront, and I'll only be paying about $2,000 out of pocket for everything, which is a very minor hit to my savings. I wasn't expecting insurance to cover any part of this, and i didn't think I'd be able to use my HSA funds since the treatment is cosmetic, so I'm ecstatic about the final out-of-pocket cost. I also thought for sure that I'd be getting braces, since i thought they'd cost way less, so I'm ecstatic that i will be able to get the results i want without having to deal with braces. And i couldn't trust the orthodontist or the facility more - I'm in the best hands! Treatment should only take between 8-14 months.
I was seriously doubting myself before my consultation this morning, because my teeth are already fine, and no one has been supportive of my interest in correction (my partner is trying to be supportive, but he really doesn't get it, as there's nothing wrong with my teeth). I had thought about canceling the consultation multiple times...i really didn't want to go to the early appointment. Was questioning whether i should back out, since i thought it'd be super expensive for a very minor cosmetic change. But now that i've gone through with it, I'm just SO excited. I'll be able to enjoy the aesthetic and functional benefits for the rest of my life. (I didn't realize that some of the cosmetic imperfections i have can actually result in wear and tear on my teeth) And for just $2k? Uh, hell yeah!

Sorry for the crazy-long post!
I'm glad you posted that.
I had orthodontic treatment years ago and I discovered some people have to do it again later in life (if they don't use their retainers, or lose teeth/ have shifted teeth.)
I'm really happy orthodontics and dental surgery is becoming more available to people who need it. Having decent teeth is both necessary for survival (chewing food properly) and also for reasons of self-esteem (a nice smile opens many doors.)

1) Perms are coming back. People, if you really want to do that, have a professional do it at a salon. I am old enough to remember the at home perm fails that ended up requiring a visit to the salon after all or a short haircut.
2) I'm using a face oil with radish seed oil. It's awesome. I'll review when I get done with the bottle.

Been wanting a BBL but I think I'm too thin for one with my BMI of 20. I've looked at the before and after shots for BBLs of girls who have similar stats and tbh the results don't seem worth the price and pain.
SO I decided to grow a butt with the help of a personal trainer! I've never lifted heavy before, so I found a woman who's a NPC Figure/physique competitor to teach me her ways. My first session is next week and I'm so excited! I think this will help me take my look to the next level.

Got a nonsurgical nose job/liquid rhinoplasty yesterday and LOVE it so far! It's such a subtle improvement to my look, and with no downtime. They put Juvederm in to smooth out the dorsal hump and did a shot of botox right underneath to lift the tip. I can't wait to see the full results.

I'm excited for you! A new butt sounds like as good of a way to start a new year
as I can think of.
So I know I've said before that I'm not going to have anymore fillers or botox.
But now I've decided this is the year I'm going to get my lips done again
My question is, does anyone have any tips for what, or how, to ask for?
The reason I wonder is b/c it's been a few years since I've done anything
to them, and it seems like things mihgt have advanced since then? or
maybe people aren't going into it totally blind like 5 years ago? not sure
but if I can avoid a consultation fee, it would be great.
Anybody who's done it - did you notice any certain thing worked better?
like, what's the difference in having them put it between the lips vs. on
the outside edges of the lips? How about the corners?
I had the corners done once and I looked like the Joker ! omg! omg yall
I had to be like that for over a year. I isolated myself for many months
I notice Britney Spears has had a little jolt in the corners. Not much - not
enough to Jokify her - but you'll notice if you look that she's got that
unnatural upturn in the corners. Gotta be careful there - that much
I do know.

On a larger scale there are some things I need to do ( still need to target the " 11 lines between brows .... one of mine is much deeper than the other ). Two moles removed on face.
Dental = two wisdom teeth out + reg. check up + whitening .
I need to do my makeup more for regular life too . I do look very different without make up ( fair skin and hair so I look sickly when it isn't done ).
I have the hippie side of myself that is always like " fuck it , I'm not getting all done up for nothing ! " but then I hate it if I get a photo caught of a day with that attitude.

When that booty grows I will let y'all know...
Also, I got Botox yesterday at the medical school. Residents do it under the eye of established plastic surgeons and it's dirt cheap ($75 for 20 units). WELL. It turns out the established plastic surgeon bought a few lap dances from me at a private party during Mardi Gras. He was all,"Have we met before?" and then must have figured it out because he didn't press the issue.
After the resident left, the surgeon stayed and talked to me about his divorce, asked me why I wasn't married and offered me a job writing copy for his website. I turned him down; the only thing I want to sell him is more lap dances hahaha.

OK this is going to sound bonkers but-
I did a mayonnaise hair masque for the first time since middle school.
I have long dry coarse hair. Put the whole jar on my hair, wrapped it and wore the mayo masque for about an hour.
It did require two shampooings to get all the mayo out, but it worked better than a lot of products I've tried.
Kind of cool. Easier than an egg masque, and cheaper than a lot of professionally mixed hair masques.

So i added a new face wash and toner to my beauty routine and have been over the moon happy with how well they've worked to reduce dark spots, helped with dry skin removal, and kept my skin looking good. The face wash is Kate Somerville Exfolikate (https://www.ulta.com/exfolikate-cleanser-daily-foaming-wash?productId=xlsImpprod18731195) cleanser daily foaming wash (comes in a travel size that lasts quite some time as well) & the toner is Tula Skincare Get Toned (https://www.ulta.com/get-toned-pro-glycolic-10-resurfacing-toner?productId=xlsImpprod18731043&sku=2532486&_requestid=4502297).
