Well it faded and I did dye the semi-permanent dye over it---and the color hasn't changed at all. All it did was camouflage my roots some, I dyed my eyebrows too and literally none of the dye transferred onto them. /:O

Well the color has finally faded to the color I was originally aiming for but I'm over it. I think it looks dull on cam and plus now I have roots. I also forgot how bad roots look when you dye your hair red, at least when your natural color is lighter. This hair color always leaks out of my hair when it's wet so I keep wetting it every time I get in the shower so it will keep fading, I ordered some really orangey hair dye so that I can hopefully switch to a very pigmented ginger. Also I recut my curtain bangs and they're a little too short; with a middle part they look fine but when I do a side part I have Hitler hair. This Fall/Winter has just not been a good hair phase for me.

I hear you. I am a chicken when it comes about my hair. I have never dyed it in my life and even when I'll start getting grey hairs, I'll still dye it in my natural color, lol. Also, my haircuts are so fucking safe, I even gave up on layers a few years ago, I just have my ends trimmed. My stylist rolls her eyes everytime I go to have a haircut, she's like "I could do wonders with your long hair, would you just let meeeeeeeeeee??? pleaaaaaaaaase!!!".
Nope. Just the trim my fucking ends :)))

I finally placed an order with The Ordinary products. Time to tackle those acne scars on my butt. I waited so long because I wanted to finish everything I got in stock, as I don't like buying produtcs and let them expire. Can't wait to get my order and start using them.
I'll also use those retinols serums on face, Paula's choice started to exagerate with the prices. I'll just buy moisturizers from them from now on and probably some treatment/ booster that I wouldn't find anywhere else.

Something weird about my hair being this red is that it's the first time I've had women complimenting me on my hair in public. I have always gotten compliments from men on my hair; it happens all the time on cam, men in public are way more likely to compliment my appearance when my hair is done, any time I have sent a guy I knew or was dating a pic of myself and my hair was done in it they're always like "Great hair," lol. (You wouldn't think men would care so much but I guess they do) But since it's been this unnatural red color three random women in public told me how much they liked it. I guess women like red hair.

Oscar Mayer Bologna came out with a face mask. Hahaha! It's all sold out on amazon. I wonder how it is! They had to put a warning sign on it to not eat it.

It’s hard for me to manage in summer but in colder weather I can wash every other day so it’s good winter hair.

My best friend has been using this Sephora primer for years now and she has been always bugging me about it, but I never gave it a chance, thanks to past experience with primers, that were clogging my pores. I had to give it a try when i notice some pores bigger than usual and my foundation would just not cover them. Well, this one is different. It has an oily- serum texture that goes into the skin immediately, it doesn't have that siliconic texture I was used to. Really interesting. And you only need a small pump... and it's cheap! Good Good shit!

Now I have to endure the never ending "I told you so"-s :)))

in Wet N Wild Mega Volume Waterproof Mascara.

Have u tried Queen Helen mud, in a jar from Sally's? Put some zit cream on before, maybe the night before, then use the mud. You can use it a few times..

I think those are under the surface, so I wouldn't pop.

Campho Phenique might help, it's for cold sores, but it's drying

Hydrocolloid patches will keep them protected while also absorbing pus.

https://www.amazon.com/Mighty-Patch-Hydrocolloid-Absorbing-Pimple/dp/B07B4KQVK6/ref=mp_s_a_1_3?crid=2DOKYX2Q5FT78&keywords=blemish+hero&qid=1646163394&sprefix=blemish+hero%2Caps%2C139&sr=8-3

Avoid anything with fragrance and harsh exfoliants. Surface whiteheads are usually a sign that your skin is distressed and irritated, so stick with gentle solutions. You might add a daily, mild salicylic acid toner into your routine to keep those problem areas clear.

GAHHH! I have some whiteheads on my face I can't get rid of. I dunno what to do. All I can think of is warm towel compresses to let them come up maybe in order to be popped?

My holy grail skincare product are Stridex Red pads, they are 2% salicylic acid. My skin is nearly completely clear as long as I use it every night & I get compliments on it all the time now. (Also I apply to my underarms after my face and I don't get BO anymore) And they're literally like $3. If you're afraid of them being too harsh at first you can rinse the solution off after allowing it to rest on your face.

Also check all your product's ingredients to make sure it's not a specific product/ingredient breaking you out. https://www.cosdna.com/
Make sure your makeup brushes & sponges are clean in between uses, as well

I got hair extensions and Botox last weekend. I feel so attractive now. I hadn't gotten Botox since before the pandemic, because there didn't seem to be much point and I didn't have much disposable income. That year I cut my hair off into a short bob after damaging it with over-processing.

Now that I have long blonde hair and lifted brows, I look the way I do in Jan. 2020, which is how I prefer to look. The extensions were $$$ but so worth it. I love them. I may never go without them. They really upgrade my overall look. I'm getting Juvederm in my lips in a couple weeks and cannot wait.

^^ I freakin love Botox. I need some so bad. When I look at my before and after photos, it makes a huge difference.

Got some Gold bond neck cream. I may get Botox for the lines in my neck, too.

Ugh. Getting older sucks.

I meditated today and that always helps me look younger and more refreshed.

I'm resigning myself to needing to wear a silk bonnet at night. I've been using silk pillowcases for years, assuming that was the better way to go. But after even just a couple of days of switching back to my silk bonnet (from adorabellababy on etsy), I've noticed a huge difference in how my ends feel.

I'm toying with the idea of baby botox. I've never gotten anything injected into my face before. It seems like botox can have really subtle effects when used conservatively, which I'm very into... and i like the idea of prevention.

The key is to not overdo it. My doctor is amazing. She treats my 11s and they look better immediately afterwards. I get Xeomin rather than Botox, but basically is the same thing. I get 25 units so I look better, but I can still slightly move my face. She does a good job of making it look natural.

My hair color turned out too dark. I put some peroxide on my hair and now it's looking way better. Thank God my hair didn't turn orange.

Botox/Xeomin photos to come...

I'm also realizing quickly that the bonnet prevents my skincare from transferring to the sides of my head and my roots. I moisturize pretty intensively at night, and i couldn't figure out why my hair would get greasy so quickly. The bonnet keeps skincare and hair separate in a way that a silk pillowcase cannot.

I was too but now I guess not. I have started developing undereye wrinkles, especially distinctive horizontal ones that paralel each eye right above the cheeks when I smile, so I was assuming I needed botox around the eyes but the thing is they don't do botox UNDER the eyes as far as I know, just on the sides where I have no wrinkles. I definitely don't want undereye filler, I asked my friend if I should start planning for a lower lid blepharoplasty and she said a fraxel laser would be better. It's currently only to the point where it's something only I notice but I'm assuming that's going to be my trouble spot as I age.

Upper and lower blepharoplasy is on my list too. I got hooded lids and now that i turn 30, the upper lids start looking... old/ wrinkly... idk. And lower, for the lines i start getting from smiling. A fresh eye area is alll i want! This would be my first anti- age procedure to get, in my early 30's. Then getting rid of the double chin. Maybe some lil plump on my lips.
Slowly going to get a vertical restore when I reach the 40's.

PS: My forehead looks like LoveyD's "after" pic :))) Because I am frowning a lot when I sleep.

I always use a silk scarf. I'm mixed but I wear my hair straight, and wrapping it and tying it up in a silk scarf keeps the style and protects my hair! I am thinking of getting box braids for a Miami trip, and if I do, I will for sure be using a silk bonnet. So good to protect any type of hair.

Yeah, i really thought that pillowcases would have the same effect. Nope. My ends are immediately healthier with a bonnet. It's nuts. I think it was especially bad that I'd go to bed with wet hair. The pillowcases don't protect and insulate your hair the way that bonnets do.
