OMG, I LOVE Ulta eye pencils! I bought 1 yrs ago, use it on my brows, I need a light color but not too light, & it's perfect. Thanks, I have a return to make & I'm going to get some too
Hopefully, they'll have it, that particular store always runs out, but yea love them
Have you tried Essence brand there? They have some good reasonably priced makeup too

Essence has good lipsticks and liners a few Mac dupes!. I want to try their gel polish too.

The last two times I've dyed my hair, I've used 10 developer, because i thought 20 developer lightened hair. I couldn't figure out why my hair didn't look much different afterwards. Turns out you need to use 20 developer to lift the hair cuticles up enough to deposit pigment. Live and learn...

Used dark ash brown by Wella with the ion 20 developer. Looks good so far, but i won't be able to see the final result until i wash it after a few days.

Yea. I used to use Wella, I used Ion color but now I like Age Beautiful color.

I used a 1:1 ratio with Wella. It doesn't seem like it caused any problems. What would the issue be for using the incorrect ratio? It sounds like i used less developer than i should have?

whirlerz
12-11-2016, 11:06 PM
No, w/Wella, you're supposed to use more developer, that's just how it is. The color might not take enough but it sounds like maybe it's ok? Idk, one of the reasons I stopped using Wella, plus I just liked the other brand better.

I really want that 90s hairstyle involving lots of chunky layering around the face from the jaw all the way down, kind of like this: https://s-media-cache-ak0.pinimg.com/736x/7d/3b/f2/7d3bf2ac4ed84ab0b953de907e8851bb.jpg or this: https://i.ytimg.com/vi/GVR2zaG5JXU/maxresdefault.jpg

Celeb beauty random rant: I am a huge Beyonce but she is ALWAYS wearing those damn Amish hats and I hate them, I so don't think they look good on her:

https://peopledotcom.files.wordpress.com/2016/12/beyonce-carey-2000.jpg?w=450

And speaking of Beyonce, her hair color has always been a pet-peeve for me too. She usually has it in a color that looks very much like her skin color and so it really washes her out IMO:

In a similar vein, I really want full fringey bangs this season..I think it's very flattering and youthful and makes the eyes twinkle but my forehead is always either covered in sunscreen during the day or moisturizer at night so won't they get super greasy and gross ?? Sigh

I'm pretty broken out right now, I haven't been eating good but I usually don't. I have been eating more dairy than usual though.....lately for dessert I'll have strawberries with homemade whipped cream so that way I'm getting some fiber, fat and protein with my dessert instead of just empty calories but I suspect that having heavy whipping cream every day might be what's doing me in. I also just started making frozen hot chocolates which I add more of my whipped cream to.......

Also, I have one tooth that is yellow when all of my other teeth are pretty uniformly white, I called my dentist and asked if it was possible to have that tooth bleached during my next scheduled cleaning(so it will match the others) and found out that apparently I'm the only person ever who has just wanted one tooth bleached. Is that really that weird?? I would have thought that it was damn-near common.

Have you tried using a mud mask? I used to like the Queen Helene mud mask..

I bought this today, from Rms beauty: https://www.rmsbeauty.com/products/un-cover-up

Kind of expensive, (I got 15% off for 1st time order) but I've been looking @ foundations, I have L'oreal & Bb cream, but I need something good. Hopefully this will be it, they're supposed to be all natural & moisturizing.

This is my favorite: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000BKXGXW

It mixes easily with water, which makes it 100x more usable than the Aztec clay brand. It lasts foreeeveeer. I mix it with ACV and smear it all over my face, do other stuff while it dries. For a gentler treatment, use a warm washcloth and warm water to wipe it off (or just jump in the shower and rinse it off to make less of a mess). For blackhead removal, pull individual pieces of clay off of your face in chunks. For a more exfoliating treatment, lightly rub the clay in circles while you rinse it off in the shower (use it as a physical exfoliant) and follow it up with a gentle salicylic acid wash (like by Biore or Neutrogena) - put that on, do your other shower stuff, then gently rub face in circular motions to encourage sloughing before rinsing off.

O. M. G. So I had my areola pigmentation/tattoos done today and I did not expect to love it so much, tbh I figured the odds were that I wouldn't or that it would take me a looong time for me to. I was also not looking forward to the first week because that's when they look super fake and dark but I actually love how they look fresh and am a little bummed that they're going to lighten up. Also she initially asked me if I wanted them done in a very natural color or if I wanted her to make them more Barbie pink, I went with natural but now I'm thinking that the pink would have looked neat. I have to go back for a second touch-up session, I'm gonna ask her if she can touch up with just the pink when I do.

Got 2 pairs of Daisy Fuentes Secret extensions from my aunt for Christmas, one was my mother's but she gave it to me, wow looks amazing. It's the same length as my hair but gives me so much volume on my super thin hair. Have not worn them out yet, hope they stay on correctly. It would be so great if it works

Trying a new deep conditioner: http://www,STTROPICA.com

It's coconut oil, cocoa butter, green tea, biotin & herbs, all organic.
You heat it in micro, put on dry hair, then shampoo & condition afterwards
I found it in an individual pac @ Ulta, like $3.99 or you can order/look up locations on their site.
They give you 1.50ounce, it's a lot, I barely used 1/3 of on my long hair. Hope it helps:-\

I bought this:
https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B01GCEQTA2

At first i was disappointed when i got it, because it's much smaller than i expected. I wanted a sturdy, wooden, anti-static comb, both for combing (obvs) and for scalp stimulation. I actually love how it feels in my hand (makes me feel like a geisha combing my hair), and the teeth kind of grip onto the strands (not in a rip-out-your-hair way), which is nice. It's great on my scalp - simulates without feeling like it's damaging the skin. I love it. I've been using it with argan oil before bed on the weekends, to give my hair and scalp a luxurious but lightweight treatment when i don't need to go in to work the next day.

I have to trim my hair with the hair shears out of the dog grooming kit because I misplaced my hair shears. Ironically the kit shears for the dog are higher quality than the ones I bought for me, so it works out. Budget protip- if you have a puppers get a $40 grooming kit & share the equipment. lol

Yep, definitely. I used to regularly wear my hair scraped back when younger, and years later still have very thin hair at the temples and at both sides of the back/base of my head. I've got quite conscious of it, especially as I did a modelling job recently and the hair/makeup artist was asked to make sure she filled in my temple area with some dark powder...embarrassing.

I intend to try castor oil and see if that helps, as it has only grown back slightly even though I've been more careful with it for years now.

Any updates on if the castor oil helped? My hair is thinning a bit from stress and hormonal issues and I'm trying to figure out a good way to help stop it. I got bangs and I'm blonde which disguises it but I'd rather not end up bald headed.

I just placed an order last night, http://www.netaporter.com
I ordered a night conditioner (you wash out in the morn, or not ) & a serum.
It's by a Swedish co & I love Swedish products..
I also got a special powered supplement, you mix in water or juice, they have several types for specific hair or skin needs.
A lot of stuff I've tried lately hasn't worked but I feel good about this, free shipping regardless of order size!:)

I use argan oil spray on my hair, and comb with a bamboo comb, and brush with a boar bristle brush. I drastically cut down on using a blow dryer on my hair. Blow dryers damage and dry out your hair. The other night, my hair looked better than it had in ages. I used Nioxin conditioner, blow dried my hair using the bamboo comb (I had to use the blow dryer because I was in a rush and didn't have time to let it air dry), then I sprayed my hair with the argan oil & brushed with the boar bristle brush, and wow. My hair was flawless.

Does it have iron in tho?

Genoveve

Hmmm I am beginning to wonder about the actual cause of asymmetry I have with my implants. I have one boob that is saggier than the other(the left), multiple surgeries by different doctors have not fixed it. I always assumed it was capsular contracture even though I don't have the symptoms(I have had no hardness or pain or shape-changing) but I am developing another theory. I have been digging around and I notice that I feel what I assume is the pec muscle on the right higher implant, I don't feel it on the left. It's hard to describe but it feels like a thick fiber that runs vertically over the area where my chest turns into my boob, and you can see it too; in that area to the side where the armpit turns into the implant I can see that on the right side it is shorter and thicker than it is on the left side with the saggier boob. I am thinking that the pec muscle on the right side is a lot tighter than the left side, which would make sense because even though I am left-handed when I write I do everything else with my right side and when I work out my right arm and chest are significantly stronger than the left sides.

My last surgeon thought the higher side was the better one and that the saggy one was the issue, I actually like the saggier one lol. I would like to stretch the right pec muscle and see if that would make that implant get saggier, however I've been trying and I don't think it's able to be stretched properly because that muscle has been cut in 2 and is no longer attached at the bottom. Maybe I should try to develop the left pec more and see if it raises the saggier one at all.

I gonna tell you my story. I saw asymmetry in myself when i looked from top to down. I saw that left side was rotated a lil bit, also I have noticed that right leg was rotated on right not so much that but somehow I felt it should be right. I found therapist localy who does "structural integration" he improves posture. Originally I went there, because I had pain in my neck. Well neck pain was just a smallest problem thought.
He found out that torso does not move anymore, yes it was doing some movement but because my back compensated by using another muscle which should do another job. Some muscles trapped my lungs when he freed my lungs my voice changed I naturally have a deeper inhale now. he fixed rotation in my leg.
I'm still going 2 times per month for adjustment because I have other problem I want to improve.
In your case you must go true the similar therapy because you have increased the weight by adding boobs. If you had a trauma your body will try to compensate which will cause asymmetry. In fact many people do not realise but when you add boobs, even hair extensions. Your nerve system is not really for that added weight which may cause long term problems.

Genoveve
01-14-2017, 04:12 PM
^^That is very interesting to me, especially because I am really into kinesiology and in creating and maintaining structural integrity. I am someone who has a lot of imbalances and even my orthodontist(who has a holistic approach) said my body is tilted to the right.
