Not sure. Maybe not. This makes you think. Always best to get a 2nd or 3rd opinion, when it comes to stuff like this.

Yeh a friend got a quote for botox which ended up about 1200 for each side. She was sweating excessively in the summer to the point where it was just a no-win for any top she had with sleeves.
I guess if you think about it they have to block each and every nerve that is sending info to a gland.

^^I had the botox method done once and it wore off within 2 months. I do not recommend it. Please tell your friend about this deodorant: https://www.amazon.com/SweatBlock-Antiperspirant-Clinical-antiperspirant-towelettes/dp/B002PQ8BQM/ref=sr_1_1_a_it?ie=UTF8&qid=1487052500&sr=8-1&keywords=sweat+block It really works.

Also I was looking at pics of myself from months ago and noticed my skin looked really nice, not surprisingly that's back when I was using retinol. I guess I should start using it again.

persianprincess
02-13-2017, 11:17 PM
The retinol made a huge difference for me, my skin looks more full with a nice glow to it, and that's mid MA winter.

I'll def pass on the info about the deodorant ...

I'm going to do my nose soon ... out with a surgeon in Seattle ... idk I love surgery.

persianprincess

I think the nose is so worth doing though, especially if you get the exact result you wanted - it can totally perfect your face. Now I'm obsessing over it. Mine has a bump in it from a fracture and I feel like idk a muppet baby.

Finally taking hyaluronic has improved my lips from the harsh state winter has been leaving them in. Also I plan to audition at a club at the end of March, once I have a solid month of biking to tone my butt up. Also started taking maca since i heard it helps to build a booty when combined with exercise.

I can attest to this.
When I trained hard at Gold's gym, one of my trainer's had me do these on the mat. With a plate on my hips to make it more difficult.
It was funny, because all the guys would walk by and ask, "Target practice?" Lol! Yep.

I've seen Apogee 2 step treatment talked about for damaged hair, well it's said it can stain blonds
So I noticed Sally s has their version of it, way cheaper & ppl seem to like it more.
Apogee.com has an "is ur hair damaged" quiz which I found helpful too

I got 2 Muji makeup storage boxes, they were on sale too, I can finally organize my makeup it is everywhere. At Walmart I picked up more L'Oreal voluminous and I got the primer too, they had it in a set for 8 dollars!. Got some more Milani 3 in 1 too, I mix it with my double wear.

Got some really good everyday, neutral colored, wireless/seamless comfy bras at Bloomingdale's. Cheaper and better than crappy VS.

It is hard to find a good everyday comfortable bra. Been wearing sports bras bc I couldn't find any.

My bras vary in sizes too. Which is a pain in the ass. I'm mostly a 32C. Sometimes 32D or a 34C.

I loathe having to pay for all of it but my hair looks so wretched I need to pay for a professional grade hairstyle haircut (in my area that's at least $80 not including tip) & maybe even have the stylist color my hair too. I hate getting old. Blahhhhh

Retinol is the weaker over the counter version of Retin A. You have to build tolerance and go to a stronger version. It doesn't make your skin peel once you have built tolerance.

I started with retinol 3 - the strongest. I used it to supplement my beauty regiment months ago before I got a nasty break-out. Then I got a new regiment and couldn't use it because it clashes with other types of acne treatments that include alpha and beta hydroxy acids. Honestly I don't see great results with it now that my acne is mostly gone and I can experiment with it. But I do think it is not as harsh as the alpha and beta hydroxy acids. And it does repair skin after peeling but doesn't leave it soft. I want softness.

fillers definitely don't last 6 months in my lips... i need 2 full syringes and my lips just 'eat' them up and then it goes away fast. TMI but the doctor said if you move that area a lot, it goes away faster. So I'm thinking I'm giving my boyfriend too much head. SHould have him start paying for them...

Do fillers damage the lips? I don't want Hollywood soggy lips. But I hate my thin lips. But I do want to be able to go right back to the real me after the filler wears off.

Coconut oil is just a fad. Argan oil is better. Keeps hair voluminous and soft and protects from heat damage. But, that also makes it a bad styling serum if you'll be using flat irons to straighten your hair. It literally is like a shield against heat. Best for use after styling in that case. Otherwise it's like a miracle.

I can't say 100% no - I mean if you really plumped them to the max max max and then went to nothing then perhaps?! But I think the lips renew so much I'm not sure it would be an issue.

I've let fillers go 100% out of my lips and I felt like they still looked very normal and no visible damage.

You can also have injections to break down the filler fully if you don't like them.

I just used/liked Queen Helene brand Cholesteral for Hair, like $4.39 for a big 15oz jar from Sally's Beauty supply. Has many 4.8 (almost 5) star ratings, & I can see why! I wet my hair, put it on,put some plastic & an old knit cap, slept w/it & my hair has LIFE to it now!
Yrs ago, I went to an exclusive hair product store, I asked the owner (a former beautician) what's good for dry-ass damaged hair, he put a tube of Wella Cholesteral in my hand, also another long term beautician told me the same thing. This store, literally is floor-to-ceiling hair prods, many are hard to find, expensive etc. So that says a lot about it too.
However, I like Queen Helene best, I've tried all the other brands, & beats the pricier shit.

Also: I do use coconut oil, I put a little on before & after the Chloesteral. A few reviewers said they like Chlosteral better than argan.

Is cholesteral good for all hair types? I was under the impression it was for black hair only.

I'm white but my hair is so thick and curly I often use products designed for black hair anyway, so it doesn't matter much but i am curious.

It's just a super dense/moisture rich soothing/conditioning/mask treatment ... if your hair is super dry, needs a really good rehydrate ... it's def good.

I've been using olive oil spray - just a touch - on my hair forever and that is generally in the same section .... really like it.

Coconut oil is def not just a fad, I mean it's popular right now but it actually penetrates th hair cuticle in ways other oils cannot and it's good for blond hair whereas darker oils can tinge them brassy. I just did a 20 hour coconut oil hair soak and my blond hair looks lighter and clearer already, and angel ass soft. Coconut oil is a miracle for hair bleaching.
BUT I did find out that for super coarse hair With too much protein treatments already , it can make it very brittle because it keeps it from losing protein. Just about the only downside though.

Well castor oil is thick to wash it off is not so easy-right? If you apply it all over length you have to shampoo your hair 2 or 3 times, which will over dry them. that oil is only for roots and sense that oil is thick you need to leave it for a long time 6 hours and more and if you can use some heat will be better or wear a shower cap and towel.
Over hair you can put almond oil mixed with peppermint. You will see how amazing hair will be, soft and hydrated.

Dont use too much of peppermint like drop or 2 in a spoon of olive/almond oil and apply over hair leave for as long as possible. Dont soak the hair but apply oil to make them look kind of slightly wet. You can apply from The root to end, verrry good for ends.
-peppermint stimulate growth
But together with almond they just do some magic no less.

I refuse to believe that oil causes breakouts. My t-zone is extremely oily, at any time during the day I can touch my forehead, nose or the front of my cheeks and it's like an oil slick.....and I never gets zits in those areas. Maybe I'll get a forehead zit once every 8 months, that's it. Yet where do I break out? In my jaw area which is not oily at all. Also, normally when I breakout the pimples always leave scars even though I don't pick them or pop them. I had a forehead zit recently that I actually did pop, and there is no scar what-so-ever, I can't even tell where the pimple was. I think all my forehead oil prevents scarring or something. I've started rubbing vitamin e oil into the drier sides of my face so my whole face can be oily lol.

Just bought the Foreo Luna 2 for sensitive skin. Why am i spending money on skin care when I'm in the middle of a move and will be living on my own? Because, STRESS! :D

I was already doing chemical exfoliation using lactic acid and glycolic acid (once a month), plus doing weekly physical exfoliation using products with beads in them. But this device seriously took my skin to the next level of soft. I notice a huge difference in texture already. I'm waiting to see if it will break me out (i have sensitive skin - the clarisonic gave me one of the worst breakouts of my life). But so far, i love this thing. I'll be resting my cheek on my arm and notice how crazy-soft my face feels, when previously, i definitely never felt that way. And the results last..it's not like my skin just feels softer for a couple of hours after my shower. I'll notice it the next morning, the next day.. Love it so far.

The only other change I've made to my skincare this month was upgrading my night cream from clinique's face lotion to Origins night-a-mins plus one of their serums. But the Foreo Luna is definitely the major reason for the texture difference in my skin.

Anyone have a recommendation for an ointment/cream/wash to get rid of issues caused by sweat being trapped under a sports bra? The red spots don't itch or anything...they're just there. They fade when I'm cool and dry and become more obvious when i work out. A doctor told me to put Selsun Blue on them - the selenium in it helps, but doesn't get rid of them entirely..

News you can use- I feel great after starting to take B 12 gummie supplements. I realize I have vitamin deficiency issues from living in a region with long winters. I have been taking gummie multivitamins too. This has helped me so much in the past year.

Just eating better has helped with my appearance a lot. It's cheaper to eat right than it is to buy La Mer skin cream.

Update on the rosemary and almond oil scalp massage... I haven't noticed much of a difference but my hair smells fantastic and is definitely shinier. I'm trying to be patient and I'm putting off doing my roots as long as I can. On a different note I'm doing a juice fast next week and I can't wait to see how I look and feel. I had something similar, it was more scaly patches than spots as such but it must have been a fungal sweat reaction rash thing because I found a tea tree cream that helped. I can't remember exactly which product (possibly Weleda).

My randoms: I'm really glad I've gone back to using Aveda shampoo and conditioner, it's the best for my hair. I was getting frustrated with the state of my hair and realised that even though the other stuff I'd been using was high end (Ojon) it wasn't good for me. For months my hair hasn't felt properly clean and the conditioner seemed to coat my hair with a thin layer of oils but underneath it was dehydrated. It's gone back to being more soft and bouncy after just a couple of washes with Aveda.

Also, I am really restless about wanting to have consultations for several procedures so I can weigh up options, but I don't want to go until I have saved up enough in case I get the urge to book it straight after the consultation.
