But it's because custom means "made or done to order; custom-made." that selling to you would be lying to your customer in case it was already made before he actually ordered. That is what I meant. I did not see that part of a custom originally, I merely thought the goal is to get something which you enjoy and cannot have anywhere else, either because you want it from someone in particular or because you are looking for something very specific.

I still don't really know what "snarky" means ! :(

I am not irritated, but I have to "defend" since things are stated about me / what I said, which I disagree with. I have no problem with the questions, it all started when someone said that I should not think in certain ways / even consider asking certain things. I hope some of you, if not all, got some place in their heart for second chances!

By the way, that's definitely what I said. You twisted the logic, is that you being snarky?

If you think that it would be okay for a model to get paid for a custom video, then send him a video that she made for someone else that was meant to be exclusive and there's no problem

Snarky: sharply critical; cutting; snide.

Well sometimes they don't want a premade. They want a custom vid to their specific likening and fits their needs to a t. You don't go to a tailor expecting that your purchased a custom tailored suit, but instead get a premade one that was made for someone else. Also why sell one place exclusively? Most clip sites lets us keep the copy rights to our vids, because of this we can sell them on multiple sites. More places where our content is distributed, the more profit. Why put only one vid on one site, when I can put the same on 3 sites total which equals more exposure and $$$?

Listen dude, we know this business a lot more then you do. It's okay to be wrong, and have a wrong idea and thinking towards something.

But in this business, we have to be honest with our customers. If they feel like we are ripping them off and not being honest about what exactly they are getting, it's not gonna reflect on you, but us. Because we are the faces of this industry. They have contact with us mostly, not sites. And since you made it clear that we would have to supply our own traffic, I'm not willing to lose that relationship with my customers. Because end of the day, they pay my bills and feed me.

But is snarky a good or bad thing? It sounds like meaning someone snarky is being arrogant, or the devil's advocate? Or is that wrong?

It totally makes sense to sell videos in as many places as possible, I have no problem with that. But if I go to the tailor for a custom made costume, and he makes me a great one, I would not expect him to start making the same costume in large quantities to sell to others. I understand now it's different since your customers actually want you to make more money and to sell the video to others!

Do you have a personal site where you are processing payments?
