Yes, Ginger is right about that philosophy of mine.
Negative energy feeds on itself. This is not to say that there aren't glitches, lulls, and plain ol' shitty days/weeks/months. Pretending they don't exist isn't my strategy. I just avoid going into venting/suck threads in general--and especially before or while I work--because I don't want it to sour my mood for the shift/day/whatever. There are days back in my newbie days where I talked myself out of working altogether because I got sucked into hearing that so many people were having a rough go of things.
I've got enough shit working against me getting my ass in gear as it is without reports that it's slow or glitchy to go with it.
If you're ever having a supremely rough go of things with work, I strongly recommend you take a week or more off the forums entirely. No twitter, no social media, no chatrooms--nada. See how you feel after a week of not hearing anything about the industry at all from anyone else. It can be really refreshing and reinvigorating.
The support here is fantastic, but it can also be easy to get distracted by it. Double edged sword. Gotta balance that shit.

Lol yea so....as I said earlier, I had way shittier equipment and internet than most of you on this message board but I still brought it home. Also I'm from a tier 2 country so my % is automatically reduced. Still bring it home. And no, I don't do $0 GS's (or very many at all) or beg people for money on social media. I can't even use Google Wallet or PP where I'm from. Still bring it home. I also have never made a clip in my life. Not saying I won't ever, but right now just don't have the skills for doing a good edit etc. Still bring it home. I'm not the most popular model, I may never be a top model even. Still bring it home.
I started camming in 2013 but only hit my stride 6 months ago. This shit takes time. I saw my first 4 figure week in like Feb of this year. Still managed to make good money and save and do all that shit though even with the worst of everything.
Funny how that works, aint it?

I wasnt trying to piss people off. I just think a lot of performers feel like if it isnt happening to them personally, it isnt happening period. When you act like that you hurt the feelings of other performers. Ive had several contact me about this thread saying they feel like they are failures after reading some of these postings. None of us have the right to make them feel like a failure because they are struggling. It happens and yes, we all have good or bad days. However we cant just dismiss experiences others are having and tell them to work harder on their hustle. For all you know they are working their asses off and still having issues. This forum can be pretty condescending at times and not everyone can handle that. Its also rude to tell them to go to another site. Perhaps I should tell those of you selling video's and playing games in free chat to go to MFC. I bet you wouldnt like that so dont it to others.
If you personally arent having traffic issues, thats great, it really is. Consider yourself lucky because Twitter is full of sad performers saying they have no traffic and these are first page performers too. Imagine how it must be on page three or four, its has to be rough. I had a killer day online today but I still feel for the performers that didn't. It sucks to have a bad day and it sucks worse when you feel other performers dont support or believe you.
Also those of you that contacted me, do NOT be afraid to post on here. You have every right to post your thoughts, this forum is for everyone. Everyone on here is mature enough to share their opinions in an adult manner. I see a lot of people disagree on this forum but they usually do it in a respectful way. So post and don't be afraid, no one will attack you. I promise to have your back. :)

That's pretty narrow perspective. Anything you say no to customers are going to ask why not, and try to convince you to do it over and over again.
Don't do anal? Why not bb, everyone else does!
Don't do incest role play? Why not bb? Everyone else does! It's just pretend, c'mon.
Don't use toys? Why not bb, All the other girls love their toys!
Don't do gold shows? C'mon bb, pvt is too expensive.
If you say no, they're gonna give you shit. That's the nature of the business. It's not just about the gold shows or the videos. Those are just the things that are apparent to you. I don't so incest, so what's it seem like everyone wants to see? Fucking incest. Pretty sure Issabelle doesn't use dildos. Bet she spends all night being asked to fuck herself with her biggest toy. Audri has a bush and small tits. Wanna ask how many times she's been told she should shave or get implants?
I'm not saying the bottom half of the front page, or pages 2-10 aren't getting less traffic than the top 3 rows. Of course we get more. We put in the hours both on and off cam to build the following to keep us there.
I'm sorry some of you are struggling. I'm pretty sure we've all had days or weeks or months where we thought we were gonna have to quit camming and go back to subway or wherever you worked before. But the difference between those of us not feeling the dip in traffic, especially those of us who have been doing this for years, is we see when things are changing and we change with it. If your current hustle isn't working for you and you're doing it to the best of your ability then try something else. Take advantage of the wealth of knowledge and experience you have here, like Jane, and other experienced models who are always offering support, ideas and suggestions. None of us are too good to try something new or work harder.
Being called a cunt for not doing Gold shows is a lot different than saying no to anal. I think you know I have pretty thick skin but being called names all the time for not doing Gold shows, giving freebies or selling shit is getting old. These guys wouldnt have this shitty attitude if they werent getting what they want from other performers. This entitlement attitude didnt happen until Gold shows and that is 100 percent a fact. Ive been on SM seven years so I know that site pretty damn well. I also know a lot of the performers on there because I helped them come to SM when Camz closed down and we talk about this a lot. Performers created the entitlement attitude and now all of us are forced to deal with these guys.

If you want real talk let's do it. Many that are hitting their goals are doing Gold shows, which we all dont do. Gold shows tend to draw in the cheap guys that wont pay the per rate minute of private and exclusive.
Nah, I've never done gold shows and I do well. I'm up in the top 10 during contests, and work hard to make as much as possible with the few days I actually get to work each week.
I believe success comes in all shapes and sizes. I hate blaming my failures on others. (It's the weather, it's memorial day weekend, everyone is watching the super bowl, its the traffic, etc)
Emotions are extremely contagious. Daniel Goleman, author of Social Intelligence wrote an entire book on this. I'd rather choose emotions of doing great, hitting goals, and meeting fabulous people. It feels better too =)

Honestly, I am rarely consistent on this site and I still make pretty decent money. I also have 0 glitches. I don't know why there's such a negative attitude about this site, I've never experienced any issues. I know this an unpopular opinion, but I'm pretty happy with Streamate, the traffic, and camming in general.
If you're not making money, become more attractive as a model. Work on your hustle, makeup skills, and work out. This is a very shallow industry, that's the nature of the job. Come on ladies, stop taking it so personally and get to work. Make people like you more, that's also a part of your job. Obviously this advice doesn't work for certain niches, but I hope you get the general idea.
If you have time to complain on here, you have time to actually get some work done. Really, the negativity on this forum lately has made me stop posting. That's sad because I really liked it here for a long time.

Ladies, at no point have I intended to imply that traffic can't be a major factor in low earnings. At no point have I wanted to imply that glitches don't disproportionately affect different models at different times. I don't want to sit here and demean anyone's feelings. But when people start feeling like everything has been shit longer than it's been good? That's not a great mental head space.
My point here is to offer alternative solutions within all of our control for combating these issues. I, for one, would rather hear suggestions for improving or counteracting issues that are in my power to do then sit and feel helpless. Being able to vent is important, but so is having hope that there are things you can do to improve the situation.
It's a helluva lot more empowering to me personally to hear suggestions for trouble shooting, expanding to other eggs, or accounts that things do balance out with more hours of sweat equity than a simple 'nothing you can do, sorry babe' or 'yeah, every thing is going to shit and it's time to panic.'
I'm not trying to invalidate anyone. I'm trying to build people up.

This thread kind of got derailed. I can see from both points of view.
We have women that do great on Streamate and some that just don't. I'm one of those that just don't succeed on Streamate. I will admit it. I suck. My attitude sucks overall. What do I do about it? I log off, breathe and film clips. I keep myself going in a good direction. There's so many variables as to why traffic sucks. Time of say, how many models are on, pay dates, etc. The list goes on. We should be able to vent. I mean come on, we're human! It's why threads like these were invented. We inspire, we bitch, complain, you name it! Maybe this should be in the camming sucks threads instead? I dunno. Just trying to keep the peace between all ladies here.

Just a side note...... If the streamate traffic isn't there or it's just crickets in a room, SPLIT with another site at the same time. Double your chances of privates. Make your time online work for you.

So i was not wrong assuming the new update is made for the fastest computers?! HA! I did not wanted to post about this, i swear it came to my mind to ask if the issue might be my i5 pc but i shut up 'in fear' people will jump on me calling me paranoid or so lol.
So i get it is made for the i7 pc's then?! You guys must know for sure xx

I did alright on SM when I first started camming and I keep it as a back up site for when the token sites are slow. Overall, I make less on SM, not because it has bad traffic or glitches, (even when I don't cam on SM for a week or two I still get first page placement). I make less because with the same level of hustle that I do on the token sites, SM takes 15% more. Also, I don't like privates and find them to be way more draining of my energy than managing token public chats. I don't like the intimacy of privates, nor the pressure of using penetrative toys for each show. I really can't stand the short privates where I get undressed and they are gone not due to disconnections but because they simply have preejaculatory issues or they have gotten themselves to just before they need release because they are fucking cheap. Gold shows just get me angry and disappointed because I know that I would make so much more meeting a small goal on CB/MFC. I am so much happier on token sites. It really is a choice of deciding what style you prefer.
All that being said, the advantages of SM are that you are a tad less exposed, (although non geo-restricted white labels have access to your content). You can make a very good passive income empire from marketing your cammodel link and/or your own white label and SM seems to be more fetish/niche friendly. Also, if you have the gear, SM has great quality streaming, (although Bonga beats it without the need for high end gaming machines).
In conclusion, if you prefer SM and you are not taking advantage of their cammodel/white label programs than definitely consider other cam sites and splitcam.

I personally don't mind girls complaining it's so slow or Streamate is dying or it's the end of Streamate because that means they'll work less or not working at all so more money for me. So a big YES to stepping your pussy down and staying off cam! #petty

Nah. I don't hear ugliness for a in need of peace. It all sounds very constructive. Like an industry or town meeting between two veterans who have opinions from experience and are passionate (as they should be), without back alley slamming. It doesn't feel heated at all, (IMO) Just passionate. Issabelle and JaneBurgess are both well respected in their field and they just seem to be having an agree to disagree healthy debate, I wish it was always like this. Like a board meeting! Making points on both sides of the spectrum. And may I also add, that I like what you had to say as well, helping to make the dynamics of the field with your own admission. It's what the debate between them should do, make us look at ourselves as in food for thought. Know what I mean Chickydee?8):cutie::cloud9:;D Sorry, Im feeling goofy. Chicky deeeeee; like the way it sounds out loud when I posted just now.

I very much agree with you. I used to stay out of negative threads entirely but I found myself wanting to see when I had a slow day if other girls were saying that the site was glitchy, etc. But then I began reading into it too much and thinking why bother getting on, it's been dead lately, look at what others are saying. This doesn't do anything but fuel my frustration! Camming has its ups and downs, highs and lows. I'm going to go back to reading the threads that I find positive and helpful for me, maybe that will help my mindset and boost my earnings : )
I am puzzled by why some of u let urself influenced by what other people say regarding how slow it is for them or so, why u let urself caught into what u call negative and dont go on working like u would normally work any other job?!
If i wanna work i work no matter what i read in the forums, i might be just extremely lucky and get amazing business on cam, what others experience will never influence my decision to get on cam or not.
If it was to take into consideration what others say in here about how slow it is means i wont even work at all cause here everyday are posts that are considered 'negative', i just dont care here, i go on cam regardless.
By the way, i dont call this negativity, i call it reality, for the people posting about certain things, that is their reality that day, we have the right to post about the things we feel and matter to us, if some cant stand reality just go watch a comedy or so lol.

I see both sides to this. Like I said before, I understand that this is our safe place to complain about the losers, cheapskates, beggars, and scammers we come across. But there's way too many threads about SM issues, it's slow, SM sucks, etc. etc. Like Hyori, SM is my backup site because I prefer token sites. I just have a different hustle style and I like some sites that others have said suck. But all camming sites have their ups and downs. As long as I log on and get paid, then I'm fine with it. I can't read some of the threads when I'm planning my shift because they'll just bring me down. It's the same with the clip site threads. I realize it does have an impact on my mind and I just need to stay focused, happy, and positive for my shift. But I'm glad that everyone has a place where they speak openly about their experiences. It's wonderful tbh.

I've definitely seen a change in the past few weeks. My room is empty a lot more often. I still get shows and tips when there are guys in my room so I know my quality as a model hasn't dropped. And I'm using the same technology, although I have encountered problems which I believe are on SMs end. It's rough, but you either stick it out or leave. And I'm not one for quitting.

I for one don't like excuses. If you feel like you aren't getting enough traffic into your room, there are so many solutions. Remember we are competing with tube sites with our recorded shows. Its easy to blame the site, but there are different variables. That's the reality.
-work on social media marketing
-change up your hustle
-change your profile pic
-try new times
-change up your style
-find a new gimmick (niche, fetish, toy)
-putting more eggs in your basket
-split camming
Now if you done all the above, and you still aren't getting traffic in your room. Maybe Streamate isn't the site for you. Streamate isn't the only site out there to make you money.

My biggest issue with SM is that 99% of the guys who enter my room, leave in a split second. I don't even have time to say hi or anything to them. It doesn't matter if I'm just sitting there, standing and teasing, or flashing my tits. Nobody stays for more than half a second. I don't know if it's technical issues or what but it is so frustrating because I can't even attempt to entice them into private.

If it was possible, I would click thanks on the comment 100 times.
Also, another thing. Yes, SM has issues with glitches and such. I've been on lots of sites, it's not that uncommon. Who remembers when gold shows were first introduced and the gold shows would crash a minute before the timer ended? Now that was a time when the struggle was real. Yes, glitches suck, slow traffic days suck, but you have to roll with it sometimes. And ragging on about it on social media doesn't help the cause or do anyone any favors. I see girls on Twitter all the time having meltdowns how SM is glitching or about traffic. Yes, complaining about that on your social platform where you are suppose to be trying to convert members to be customers is really going to motivate them to sign up & spend on that site!
I always compare working on cam to when I worked in retail. Sometimes you have slow day for sales, or a customer who only wants free samples, another one who is super annoying, sometimes a shipment is late. Learn to roll with the bad things and adapt your hustle to be successful when things are not perfect. If it's so bad you are making $20 in a shift, you must be able to analyze what the problem is to fix it. And if it really comes down to it's the site that is the problem for you, forcing yourself to stay online to to make money and try to make it work seems insane and counterproductive. Hyori said above she switched to token sites because the vibe of the site suites her better; I switched from token sites to SM because of the same reasons. There is no shame in admitting something doesn't work, it's sorting out what the new plan is and evolving to be successful that counts.

That's what I wanted to say. Unless they're talking about it in the DMs, it's unprofessional imho to complain about it openly on Twitter where you market yourself! Contact supoort or just sign up on here and air it out. But that's just me.

Is anyone else having problems today with maintaining a solid connection? My bit rate keeps fluctuating wildly on the encoder. I'll go from 1012 kbps @ 30fps to 350 kbps @ 17fps. My internet connection is solid, so I'm wondering if it's site issues, or something else...
I froze half an hour into a long exclusive session. SADFACE.

Agreed. I keep getting incest and underage freaks. I tell them I dont do those shows and that its also against the site rules. Then they get all pissed off and act like assholes.
This. its almost apparent there are affiliates spamming to these sickos because I had 10-20s of guys asking for incest and underage play.
I get so irritated bc I always think I'll get suspended by them just talking about it in freechat. Of course the ones who go

This always happens to me on FMLE when there are a lot of models online. I'll have my bitrate resetting from 300 all the way back to 2000 repeat x10. I had another model agree that sometimes I gotta just wait and try again later. It's the only way I've ever "resolved" the issue

Yeah they have upped the required spec for the smbroadcast. It only calibrates for the top setting its prob to stop splitcamming as it requires 60% of my cpu for this setting.
Still drop that box down to 720p and dont calibrate and it works just fine.
Pretty soon nasa are not going to have a cpu that can power the smbroadcast.
It also requires more upload as well. 720p needed 2500kbps. Its now running at 4200kbps. Thats a massive jump so they require even higher upload than before.
^^^ Right now i am streaming with these parameters & it looks good on my side, i took Liz's advice & not re-calibrated, it's working but how can i be sure it's really working properly?!
45032
I also ticked the box to autoadjust quality while streaming to see how much bandwidth it's using, it's a little over 2k but on calibration with the higher resolutions it went to 5k no kidding.
45033
The problem is the lack of paying traffic, they just come in & leave right away, who talks wants something for free, they just dont wanna pay or cant connect; trust me when i say i am smiling constantly & welcome them in, i type hi or even talk, i move now and then & tease them a little, i even re-arranged my camming space to show off more of myself in freechat, nothing seems to help, i do this job for many years and know my thing, when there is business i know to make me money but here is no business no kidding, i have proof, in a matter of 2 mins all these guys logged in and out right away, i had no time to type a hi to all of them but to a few.
I enabled the entries to be shown so u guys can see people are coming by but not staying or talking, most of them leave at a point during conversation. I checked myself from guests side on SM and my room looks fine but who knows what is actually happening with these log in/ log out entries, by the look of it they leave soo fast they seem not even able to get the picture to load somehow, i know it takes me few secs to get the room to load, at least 5 secs via proxy server, if they leave right away means they cant even connect.
See this guy tenny101 how many times he comes in/out.
45034
I run an i5 HP desktop pc with 8GB ram now and very fast internet, C920 cam, cant be my equipment & cant be me cause as i said, they dont even stay long enough to connect to my stream, something its going on here. I tried the Adobe encoder & it was the same, my CPU ate even more resources (like 65%+).
Dont even know what i should do, keep using the broadcaster or the FMLE?
With my pc capabilities it's difficult to stream SM 720HD and something else but not making money on SM is bad also, this site is my only site for now as i focused on it cause i cam on SM for some good years now & i really feel at home here but it's getting harder & harder to just make a living on this site lately.
Oh well, i dont know anymore.
Here is more: i happen to be a member of other camming forums as well & got to read how other people are having a significant decrease in income lately on SM, this girl posted a thread saying she used to make a good income on SM as a middle page one model but not anymore lately so yeah, more & more people see the decrease in income on this site.
I am speculating now but in my humble opinion i believe SM is not buying traffic anymore between contests, i feel they rely on the regulars on site and the traffic models bring by promoting on social media, they let the site run at minimum parameters for the most part but taking care of a few good servers that sustain their best earners on site till a contest is taking place, then they expect a lot of models to get on cam and compete for the prizes.
Then again things calm down and after a short while they announce a new contest and repeat the whole thing, this is my personal theory but i know here is truth in what i am saying, i see a pattern for a good while now.
Anyway, i am waiting on that new UK site to launch, if Hannah is asking for a passport to get verified there believe me i'll get one because i really cant take anymore of how SM is working, some good years ago i had to buy a printer - scanner combo to sign up with SM (they required printed, filled up and scanned documents in order to be approved, now everything its electronically done), now i might need a passport, i'll get that if really needed cause i need proper income here, i hope she will accept other ID's tho.
Enough now, i felt like talking about these all after a shitty shift of 5.5 hrs on cam today, i made peanuts and am very unhappy about it, i really did my best but sometimes there are no results no matter how hard u try, after all these hrs on cam with all the lights on me & watching the screen my eyes got red and wattery & my eyeliner started to melt, it was time to log off.
Take care everyone xxx

I for one don't like excuses. If you feel like you aren't getting enough traffic into your room, there are so many solutions. Remember we are competing with tube sites with our recorded shows. Its easy to blame the site, but there are different variables. That's the reality.
-work on social media marketing
-change up your hustle
-change your profile pic
-try new times
-change up your style
-find a new gimmick (niche, fetish, toy)
-putting more eggs in your basket
-split camming
Now if you done all the above, and you still aren't getting traffic in your room. Maybe Streamate isn't the site for you. Streamate isn't the only site out there to make you money.
Agreed. I always wished when a new cam performer signed up on a cam site, the site would give them a link to this website. New performers usually have no idea what to do to get traffic, proper lighting, what camera's work best, etc.

Okay. One more post on this thread. I feel like I gained SO much perspective when this guy Brian handed me @hotgingercams Twitter account because he just didn't want to promote anymore. Not a huge amount of followers 18k but still connecting with the right big guys that will retweet what you tweet is kind of powerful. Has not made me a penny yet but it is something. From that promotion account I see performers post when things are shitty. Not just SM but all the cam sites. MFC's is down! WTF? Can't log on to Chaturbate! OMG! I think if SM offered a cam model tour of their facility or a video showing how hard it must be to keep all this shit running and everything up and online it would serve them well. From your cam and computer to your modem to your ISP to the Internet to SM server farm to freeloaders ISP to freeloaders porn riddled virus infected door stop of a computer running windows 95 a lot can go wrong. Traffic not right? Log off, eat a handful of GoldFish crackers and wait 15 minutes and log back on. Maybe it was the server your were on. Customer gets disconnected? Easy to hit the wrong button when he is furiously flogging his dummy to cum and disconnect to save himself 3 bucks. I can't begin to think how his jizz encrusted keyboard even works anymore. Get disconnected right before the Gold Show starts? The SM techie's feet slid off the desk taking his mouse and keyboard with him. Maybe he spilled coffee while performing a systems check causing one full server to blink for just one second causing sirens to go off in the server room. Maybe your computer decided to update Firefox. Maybe your virus software is checking your outgoing connections. Your computer has tons of things that can make a live connection blink for a nanosecond causing you to disconnect. Your modem is trying to prioritize traffic going through it. Maybe your boyfriend is in the other room downloading porn, streaming Game of Thrones and playing Warcraft at the same time while on hold with customer service in Mumbai over your VOIP while you are trying to make money. Tons of reasons shit can go wrong and not work. No traffic? That is up to you to drive people to your room. You can work on it or come here and vent. Vent all you want but there are performers on here that will read it and try and give you help and guidance. They are not putting your down or trying to make you feel like a failure. You come, you post, you vent and they take the time to give you what works for them. Maybe the performers making bank on SM should just read your post and say. Wow! Sucks to be you! I'm doing great! But they don't. They actually care and try and help. Okay..I am done now. Sorry if I made anybody mad or upset. Not my intention. (just venting:) Have a great night and or day and make that money.

Just a general note, not aimed at this poster.....But from my own observations as a customer (yes my bf and I sometimes hit the site up as customers - I think everyone should try it once.)
We will pop in and out of quite a few rooms for a second , not because of the rate, because if we both agree on someone then the rate they charge doesn't make a difference to us. But it's when there profile picture doesn't CLEARLY represent them.. OH wow she's gorgeous, enter the room... Is that the SAME person as the picture????? Oh no, exit room.
Same goes for all the girls who don't show there face on the profile pic, I openly admit my bf and I are shallow, we would like a pretty smile, I won't go into a room if I can't see a picture of the girls face. it's ok when I enter the room and you don't have your face showing, you could be standing or whatever, but the face has to match the profile pic at least a little bit.
JUST my opinion and observation.

Kat this is *exactly* what is happening to me and glad I am not the only one. The guys cannot connect to my chat room either they come in and out a million times and it is not me either. I have the best equipment I can possibly have so I am at a completely loss at what I can do at this point for making stream ate work.

^^^ Right now i am streaming with these parameters & it looks good on my side, i took Liz's advice & not re-calibrated, it's working but how can i be sure it's really working properly?!

I also ticked the box to autoadjust quality while streaming to see how much bandwidth it's using, it's a little over 2k but on calibration with the higher resolutions it went to 5k no kidding.

My dear, I just wanted to say that you are not alone. The several cam girls I am close friends with, including myself have been experiencing the same thing for quite sometime now. The log ins and log offs range anywhere from 5 minutes to 30+ minutes. The top few girls always have talking/spending customers in a constant stream. At times it makes you wonder if all that matters are the top 2 rows of models? The middle to end rows on page 1 almost have no traffic/talkers. And not to ruffle anyone's feathers, (I'm innocently asking) but I keep hearing that SM was sold to LJ (thus all the contest & leaderboard) .. As a cam girl it'd be nice to know theses things..

is traffic dead af every night this week or is it just me? Ok i am really stressing the fuck out. This is my main site. And i have a good computer, just bought an ethernet and hardwired it to the internet. I have super high speed upload of 11.8 I5 processor and 4gb ram. I am getting no fucking traffic and i am one of the top rows. I look at other girls rooms and i hear them chatting to guys but i am not getting shit. So i really don't know if it's just me or if traffic is really low lately. Idk wtf to think anymore. I used to make about 150 a day and now i am struggling to make 50 fucking dollars in 6 hours. Shoot me.

Kat I am having the same exact issue. I run an I5 Lenovo Ideapad 100 brand new computer with 4gb ram and upload speed of 11.8 for some reason the broadcaster is not even bringing me traffic and the guys that do come in keep getting kicked out. For now, I am going to use the HD internal encoder and say fuck this broadcaster because I am soo over this.

You're not alone. Lots of SM girls posting in the camming sucks thread these days! The past few weeks have been rough, and it can't be all of us having crap connections at the same time. Today I logged on and got two back-to-back shows, thought "alriiiight today is bangin" and then proceeded to spend the next 1.5hrs in freechat with barely any talkers. I'm a second-page model, and if even top row girls are having trouble, SM's definitely on thin ice. I'm going back to Chaturbate at this rate.

Is there a way to block a guy once he's left your chat room? I keep getting this FUCKING PERV that wants to talk to me about his mom! But when I remember it's him I think he sees me realize and ducks out before I can block him.

Thank you, I'll try that!
Thanks for input & support ladies, i am middle page one model on SM (if seen from Europe and USA) but i struggle a lot in the last weeks, feels like the site just died to me.
I also get all u saying in here babes, there is something going on with SM and i really wish to know if the site was sold to LJ?
I think this could be true cause... and now this is valuable info i type in here now... i was emailed by SM support yesterday & been told that i can participate to an AW summit taking place in my country soon and if i am interested to email guess who??!! Laszlo guy, the hungarian CEO from LJ that is now with SM!! OMG!!
You ladies can make up the connections with the info u have (ty for sharing the info christy xx) & the info i just give in here, i feel even more how SM it's not itself lately.
Just got up from sleep here, no kidding i had nightmares and all i was thinking about since i got up from sleep was work & SM, it's like a movie runs up in my head, i am thinking soo much of this & stressing myself soo much cause for sure i am in deep trouble here from the lack of income, i also been to doc a lot lately & spent on meds & blood tests, thank God the Paps test is okay cause i was afraid of serious issues here, my poor health is not helping me much either, i have tyro gland issues that fucks up my hormones that fucks up my period that fucks up with my blood cells & give me anemia, all these from high level stress connected to work issues.
I wonder how i am still on my feet u know (sitting now lol).
More later, going to eat something and have a coffee, need fuel now xxx
Also, reading the other new thread about SM being sold, etc, keeping an eye on what people say in there too xx
Christy, pls elaborate on this matter xxx

I guess this is kind of a tangent but the fact of the matter is that the varying earnings of camming ARE stressful and do cause negative feelings and it's important to learn how to cope with those feelings. I mean, if you sit online for one night making $0.57 an hour no matter how hard you try to hustle, it's hard not to wonder whether you're going to be able to pay your rent in a month's time, even if you make $74 an hour the next night. Especially if that negativity carries over and makes you resent working - people tend to pick up on that, in subtle ways, and it makes the work worse too.
It's pretty useless to me when someone's like "think positive and good things will happen!" because like, of course it's easy to think positively when things are going well for you. And like - sometimes it's still going to go badly, despite how chirpy you are to begin with. However one thing that does help me a lot with negative thinking is learning about CBT (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, not the BDSM kind...) techniques for dealing with unhelpful thinking patterns. It's a lot more concrete than "positive thinking" and it teaches you a lot of skills for not getting overwhelmed or taking things too personally. I'd recommend anyone who isn't already familiar with it to look into it. Bad times happen to everybody but so do good times I should hope

Lol i7. Amd zen is out this year with a massive 40% increase in instructions. Intel didnt get a good chip yeld from there new architecture so are re designing. Windows 10 works great with the fx 8 core chips I was hoping Streamate would go VR at the end of the year but this would take away tips and stuff for flashes.
I do just wish the encoder would be 64-bit. 32-bit is limited to 4gb of ram. So that could help boost the encoder as pretty much everyone has a 64-bit os these days. And Fyi the windows 10 upgrade ends soon so dont miss out. With ssd or hybrid drive. Its a massive speed boost over windows 7 and 8.

A very glitchy day. Other sites have brought me comfortably to goal, but seriously, SM, you're rapidly devolving into a back-up site.

I personally dont wanna show my face in my profile picture, the listings can be seen by anyone and i dont want my face in there for all to see & recognize me right away, i wanna make their job a little more difficult.
Then, regarding the profile pictures where models look amazing, i noticed SM's studios have amazing quality profile pics for their models, that are professional pics, of course they'll look great, they are eye catchy & made to attract.
