Why do you need a vpn?

You are considered a risk if you use a VPN. People who tend to make fraudulent charges use VPNs to cover their ass. So they do it for good reason.

ISPs do log in the urls that you go on. When you are connected to a VPN your internet is encrypted and your ISP cant see what websites you go on. Its none of their business to know when im looking at boobs.

Lol! Thank you.

And OP, this is not some black market forum. Obviously if you were banned like audritwo mentioned there is likely a valid reason. I get wanting to have your privacy online however people using Vpn and changing their IP address on the cam sites is not fair to the ladies that work there.

Just go to a hotel or another location or wait till you travel to get on the site. In the meantime, warm lotion and your imagination should tide you over.

Seriously who cares that you're looking at boobs? You're not doing anything illegal (however trying to game the cam site is questionable and what got you banned) Are you married or something? Just tell your wife you like to look every now and then. Give her your credit card for a day of shopping and voila! The truth will set you free.

I think he's scared his wife finds out. She must be kind of tech savvy. And Most likely against porn.

If she finds out she going to leave his a$$ and leave with half.

You should have got a better prenup. One that had a clause for occasional indulging in your fetishes.

Not entirely true.

Also most ISPs keeps logs from 6 months to a year.

Why would they care that you are looking at boobs. Trust me people who work for ISPs have better things to do then to poke fun at the people looking at porn. I would know, I used to work for one where we had access to all your "valuable" information that no one cared about.

Seriously dude, remove the tinfoil hat and go beat off. Stop being so paranoid.

If you don't want your wife finding out, download chrome and use a incognito browser. If you don't want statements coming up on your credit card or bank statements, purchase a visa gift card and use that.

I think Safari is better for incognito browsing cause from what I understand you have to go to your chrome settings, and make sure you're logged out of all your accounts on google, or the chrome browser can still track you even in incognito mode. Safari doesn't do that it's truly incognito.

Here is a story. I was working techsupport one day, and a lady called asking for IP logs to catch her husband doing whatever. We need a court order to release those.

I did however walked her into the router to see IP logs located there. If you don't want your IP being logged on your router, do a hard reset.

If you have your VPN set up the right way they still cant see your internet activity. Depends on what VPN protocol and internet port you use.

Okay, but for Streamate, you don't need it. Your ISP doesn't give two fucks if you jerk off to internet porn. Unless it's super illegal stuff.

Well if you're not married, you're not viewing porn at work, then you must be trying to view some taboo type sh*t or trying to get more for less, or trying to see someone you're not meant to see. Cause you are doing way too much just to see some tits.

Yes we're in America where we have loads of freedom but we all are being tracked almost everywhere go. It is what it is.

That taboo stuff....just use your imagination and some lotion .... And quit acting creepy online.

Im not into taboo stuff. I dont understand how im being creepy. I have autism and sometimes i do have poor social skills.

Ok well my bad. If you do have autism then I will filter what I say here and not be harsh.

Sometimes people want privacy just so they can be themselves without worrying about other people surveilling them, which yes we all should have a right to. But other times people want privacy so they can get away with things they're not supposed to be doing (things that are immoral, unethical, and or illegal).

If customers were allowed to use vpn on cam site it would make it more likely for them to get away with things that are against the rules of the site. The support team would stay banning people and they wouldn't be able to support the cam girls effectively or their fees would increase to hire more support.

I believe that a main reason might be, that all credible cam sights have a form of blocking out certain cities, states, countries, etc. from viewing the stream. So if you are using a VPN and reporting to be viewing from somewhere you aren't, it defeats the purpose and compromises the models' privacy and security.
Hope that helps!

Good point, Pink! VPN's and Proxies bypass geoblocks so it's good to block those on sites that use geoblocks.

I use a Proxy server to block ads and I always have to turn it off to view streams on SM. It's awesome because of the ad blocking. It also helps protect from malware, but it gets annoying having to turn it off in order to view certain sites. Especially when I'm doing affiliate marketing and designing ad banners since it blocks all those things LOL!

I didn't know that SM banned members that use VPN's though. Do they actually ban the account or just make it so that you can't view the streams?

miss.a.p1600

Well this is exactly one of the reasons why but do you think the creeps that use vpns to cheat the system care about the girls privacy???? That's why I didn't want to say anything here so as not to give these a$$hats any ideas. I'm not sure what's up with the OP but I hope he's not some lying pervy creep

Something doesn't add up here, honestly. I maintained a member account of my own to check my placement for the better part of a year on SM. I have geoblock in effect. I turned on my VPN to check my placement pretty much everyday from that account. Never had an issue with support until a glitch (the how of which shall remain unexplained as it is a MAJOR security flaw SM gives zero shits about fixing) resulted in me logged into another model's customer account, revealing all of HER personal info to me (good thing we were friends!), and which registered both our IP addresses on the same account, resulting in her account being banned AND mine after they back tracked because they assumed it was to cheat the system/for fraud purposes (two people in very different locations accessing the same customer account = fraud concerns).

Seriously--SM only ever notices this sort of thing (VPN, proxy, multiple accounts at the same IP address) if you do something fishy or fall into one of their truly bizarro security flaws by mistake. And, sure, the bizarro flaws do exist, but you have to be doing some pretty unusual shit (for a customer, not a model) to run into them. Again, the how will remain unexplained due to the inherent security flaws. The only other bans I've seen were for people using a VPN to maintain multiple customer accounts, cheat the daily limit, increase their chances of successful chargebacks, and so forth. They don't happen on accident.

Oh, and once your IP address has been registered as 'potentially compromised,' your name, address, and CC are all also registered and any new account you try to make will also be flagged. Seriously, they flagged my model work email based on my legal name which matched the CC/account info I put into my customer account and prevented me from creating another account on that email after the first one was closed. That shit doesn't happen by accident. Once you're in their ban system, you stay there and you do not end up there by mistake without going down one HELL of a twisting rabbit hole.
