I'm the author of the post and I'd like to not only promote Bitcoin a little bit, but I'd also like to help anyone interested in getting started with Bitcoin. Someday it might be the best way to get paid for camming.

Bitpay just told me today that "the nature of my business is not in correspondence with their ToS". This was about adult-income.com. It's not a porn site, but porn isn't even forbidden with bitpay. I thought bitcoin was the rising star in high risk payment, yet, my remotely adult related business is being declined.

There was no explanation as to why my business is not in correspondence with their ToS - I can't see it, but I don't expect another answer.

Bitcoin itself doesn't care what you do for a living. Bitpay is subject to the know your customer laws and risk management of their insurance company. Adult Services are viewed as high risk so they shy away from it.

Bitpay is not the king of Bitcoin and you can create your own wallet to do whatever you want. You're probably not going to have luck with BitPay or Coinbase as a merchant.

Bitcoin the protocol can't be censored or stopped for "TOS".

Actually, somehow, a different customer support person started answering me. She also restored my account and even upgraded me to tier 1 (upon request and supplying of necessary documents). So I am now very happy with bitpay (again). Luckily, because I also just started to love their new website. It's so clean and easy. I wish people would actually use bitcoins.

Yes, I could just have a wallet and let people pay, but in this case, bitpay processes the payments through my shopping cart and enables automatic delivery of goods.

"wish people would actually use bitcoins"
AGREEEEEED!!!
I accept bitcoins as a stripper, just because I'm into that kind of thing, but I have NEVER received any. Mostly it's just an interesting conversation piece, some people have never heard of it, so I guess I'm glad to be spreading the word.

Never received any either. Though when you read about it, it seems to be "big" in porn. It's like cash, no trace, no chargeback, low / no fees. It would be perfect. My personal take is that bitcoin is too much of a risk for people. I never got any myself, because the value changes (used to change) extremely. However, just loading a few dollars and then making the purchase right away should be no problem. The thing is, it's one more step and every step you need to buy something makes you less likely to do it.
