^ I shared an opinion that guys help pay for the site by clicking the banner ad. That was not a mutually exclusive statement. As for as the rest, opinions may differ. This is first and foremost your support site. I do believe that guys do drive traffic and add an element that would be missing otherwise, but that is just my opinion and, at the end of the day, doesn't count for much here as I am just a club customer.

I do think that a combination of a Ladies Only section (that guys cannot read) and discussion moderation were intended to manage any potential troll issues, but I'm not sure how actively CC is really being monitored right now. This is no shot whatsoever at unbeleavable, who is a great Mod IMHO, and I could be dead wrong on this, but I do get the sense that he is very busy and doesn't get to monitor CC as actively as he would probably like. It's a balancing act to some degree as a heavy hand can end up choking off posting altogether, which I think happened now and again when Yoda was Mod (God rest his soul), though this is no shot at him either as he was very gracious to donate his time to keeping trolls from cluttering CC.

Anyway, just my :twocents: fwiw.

Wait....I am confused. Why would guys click on the MFC banner ad? The whole point of the banner ad is for signing up new models? Am I missing something? O.O

Just another opinion but it does seem like blues are guilty until proven innocent here for the most part. If certain parts of the site are open to men why make them all feel unwelcome? I mean CC is there for the specific reason for customers to ask questions and quite often someone will say something along the lines of what was said (why are they allowed). Stating that any man who has an account "has problems" just sounds a little judgeey and pot/kettle coming from people who probably have to hear that type of stuff all the time and should know better than to generalize like that.

There are men on this site who want to be respectful, helpful and even learn something which in turn only helps the industry. I'd just ask everyone to keep that in mind when some random male troll shows up again.

Sometimes I just stay away, unless there is a reported post or thread. Helps avoid burnout. If it was a paid position, I'd probably feel guilty about it lol.

I would suspect MFC also paid for the ad to draw customers, as well as new models. But I can't speak for them. And it does lead to 'Becoming a webcam model', not to the site itself, so you have a good point. Hell I never clicked on it until just now lol

No one likes to be stereotyped as a group and lumped into the bad apples, customers or dancers.

That ad leads to zero customer account set up or affiliate. Honestly it doesn't lead to any model affiliate set up, but to their wiki. The site doesn't get payout for model sign ups either. It's just a bought ad space with zero perks. Which is stupid on the owner. They could easily be swimming in affiliate money and model sign ups.

I don't date men or women who have a problem with my work.

It's not a competition and sometimes that type of person gets jealous of you during your shift. It's usually them feeling insecure because they have been taught that women only share their bodies with special people OR ELSE we are sluts. If men are sluts it has nothing to do with how possessive the woman is over him. All in all I have experienced difficulties with breaking that societal conditioning of possession.

Additionally, I might add that I do not even tell the people I date about what I do until they seem legitimate to me. Too many fuckboys have known too early and took full on advantage of that and one even started growing the pair to try to charge me to sleep with him because he knew I was making money and was tired of my face and needed that to keep his bed full until the next young girl arrived.

.

I know I am completely off topic but I read an old post (suggested on the bottom) the other day he had either started or contributed to heavily, and I got super-nostalgic. I actually did meet him IRL, ITC. Where did all the good pervs go?

Being a stripper, is it hard to date? I imagine a lot of guys would be insecure.

I'd imagine it's easy to get a date. Get a date with the right guy? Thats a different story, entire.

Pretty much just like any other girl.

That's what i imagine, anyway.

You can get a date with anyone you look at in a strip club or off cam. That's the easy part. At that point you need to decide what kind of date it is though and so does the person.

"Am I a (cam girl, escort, dancer, dom) or am I a person? How are you going to treat me?"

If you catch their ass logging onto your cam domaine or things like that and it's not to make you feel good, they are a client and they are paying for services.

While that's not bad, like I wouldn't complain about getting money, I'd feel kind of used.

I actually appreciate this, even as a blue. You kind of have to prove yourself here. I'm on two other major adult sites and they are 60% solid troll shit. Have you seen GFY lately? It's like grand central for trolls now. Women either never post on those sites or they take masculine nics and say they're dudes. When they post as themselves, they get 500 "tits or gtfo" type statements. I've actually picked up some useful stuff here from the hustle and dollar forums for IRL non-adult business, to say nothing of the honest opinions. Sex workers get shit all day every day, and they need a place to be queens (or kings). Keep up the good work mods!

stripper-dom has granted me the ability to filter through their bullshit easily and made me not afraid to say "no" or "I don't want to do such and such" and guys my age are NOT used to an assertive woman.

This. The second I start to feel like "this guy is acting like a guy at the club," all potential attraction dies

I can only speak for me – I don't date. I've been an escort or a stripper off-and-on for five years. During that time I was in school and surrounded by guys. I accepted one date and after two weeks the entire school knew about my job. I don't date it's not worth it. Rather than describe the type of guy that would accept my occupation it is best to just avoid dating. I know I'm a terrible person but I get all the sex I want from my job. I get all the conversation I need from my job. The only reason to date would be to meet a guy to get married. At this point in my life that is not what I seek so------ drumroll-------------- I don't date

Your poem sucks a lot more than anyone on here bro ham. I believe the scientific term for what you have is Angerus Tinypeckerus - I'm just speculating.

This is exactly why it helps weed out the insecure guys I wouldn't be compatible with anyways. A guy who would have an issue dating a stripper would be the kind of guy I wouldn't want to date, whether I was dancing or not

It's hard to date because I'm smarter than 90% of the guys I come in contact with, and because my personality itself is not conducive to the culture of dating nowadays.

It has nothing to do with being a stripper.
The only relevant factor there would be they're always afraid you're gonna make more money than them.
Oh, and the fact that stripper-dom has granted me the ability to filter through their bullshit easily and made me not afraid to say "no" or "I don't want to do such and such" and guys my age are NOT used to an assertive woman.

Ooooohhhh, a challenge ;)

Like I don't hear that every day. Christ. Way to perpetuate "guys just want what they can't have" and the "women are trophies" mentalities

Hey now, it was stated in jest. No need to go to the dark side. I can appreciate that you are more than just your physical qualities and that you are not merely a trophy. You have a sharp mind as well and I can appreciate that.

I don't strip however I'm a cam girl and do a little escorting here and there.

First relationship - Didn't go down well at all and this was only webcam/phone sex at this point, never lasted.

Second relationship - He didn't mind at all, about webcam etc and even escorting. Was never in a "pervy" way but he was always curious etc about my job and just wanted to make sure I was okay.

Ended it recently, due to personal problems. However coming to realise that having a partner whilst working in this industry may be suitable for some, but definitely not for me!
