Just fyi. If you don't have Hulu, the original movie is on YouTube for free.
*It's a true story.
The main character changed her name and became a mental health counselor.
She would be 70 ish.

I watched this tonight.
I don't get it.
If anyone has seen it, can you please explain wtf I just watched?
Maybe I wasn't medicated enough to understand.

I watched Conversations with a Killer: The John Wayne Gacy Tapes.
Wow... pretty brutal documentary (not for the graphic images, but for the brutality and the evilness of the killer). It's weird when you watch a documentary like this, you have to keep telling yourself this is real and not a crime- detective series, with happy endings and shit.

Also, watched Wrath of Man, with Jason Statham. Honestly, me and my partner played it because we didn't know what to watch and we saw JS and we were like "well, it's predictible, lots of guns and punches, let's see". Well... the movie was really good!! It had a good plot that made sense and I didn't have moments where I was looking trough the screen, lol. The ending was a lil vague, I would have loved to see what happens next, also, before the ending... things got rushed, like they got lazy to continue the characters stories.
Pretty good, I reccomend it.

Don't mess with the Zohan. I saw it years ago and pretty much forgot about it (I only remembered he wanted to do silky smooth hair, lol), I was bored because it was raining, my bf was taking a nap and I wasn't in the mood to play a videogame, basically I was in that state where I wanted to just potato myself in a blanket on the couch and watch something that doesn't consume neurons.
Wow, I had a blast! Compared with nowadays comedies, this movie is pure gold. Blunt, funny and super dumb. Back in the day it was considered a really bad movie, but in today's times, it's a masterpiece :))))

This is me on my days off. Gonna be my anthem from now on:

I'll rewatch all the Adam Sandler comedies, lol. And those with Sacha Baron Cohen. The Dictator is on my top list to re-watch. I remember parts of the movie that I see nowadays actually happening (one of the scenes when the dictator says he's doing nuclear bomb for peaceful purposes, then turns around and laughs, or something like that. Made me remember how russians said they just do a friendly exercise in Ukraine and it's not an invasion, lol).

Well most people would like it haha.
It stirred up trauma for me.
Not everyone has a relationship that went nowhere with a handsome Aussie drama to rustle up ha.

In a way I just hated it for the above reasons.
So I'm changing to recommendation to " beware ".
:/

On the Starz app there is a documentary about some strippers in Vegas and the pandemic. It's nothing special.

We've quite enjoyed Adam Sandler's serious films. We've just watched Hustle, quite sweet, and Uncut Gems is intense to the point of stressful on his character's behalf lol. I loved the girl in that too haha.

Uncut Gems is probably in my top 10-15 movies in the last 5-6 years ! I'm a huge film nerd too.
Yes you FEEL the stress. Do not watch it if you are already anxious overall that day.

You should watch her in the movie The Night Clerk. Man she is stunning and a hell of an actress. She reminds me of Gal Gadot. Exudes sensuality/sexuality. Blonde is gonna be an amazing movie!!

Seen The Gray Man. It was a big fart. No wonder they sent Chris Evans to promote it everywhere, he usually doesn't bother going at every radio station and I don't think I've seen him doing so much promo for a movie ever.

Gosling looks bored and tired, Chris Evans is just showing off playing a villain, but he didn't nail the character and Ana de Armas also sucked, with completely amateurish facial expressions. Also, she was dressed like Mother Teresa, I didn't like her clothes at all, she's fucking hot, she deserved outfits like in the Bond movie.
Also, the lines were short, like the actors couldn't memorize more than 5 words per phrase.

Ana and Evans were muuuch better in Knives Out. Which makes me believe the writing was poor as fuck and the directing focused on anything but characters. More like special effects and explosions.
200 million thrown out the window. Oh and the movie should've been called Euro Trip 2 instead of Gray Man. Those who seen the movie will get it :)).
Completely dissapointed.

It did not bore me, but it didn't sweep me off my feet either, I mean... for a budget like that I expected some Avatar type of movie.

Yes.
Funny story about Ray.
I was getting a pedicure once, and Ray walked in. He was lost.
Said he was looking for a jewelry store.
Nobody knew who he was or even looked at him.
I told him that I could help him find the store.
Cool dude.

"Every Last Secret"
It's Ray Liotta's last film.
I found it on Hulu, but it's on other platforms too.

Why do they always need to throw hookers into the mix?
Hmm.
Must be because we're interesting and make a movie plot more interesting.:D
