I just finished it last night. My husband loves westerns, if it wasn't for that I would have never watched it. Glad I did.

I finished watching Alias Grace. I liked it.
I felt let down by this one. I wondered if I missed a few things in the story in regards to how "certain" prospects turned out. :) Have you watched The Handmaid's Tale on Hulu? If not check it out.

Okay...now, She's Gotta Have It the serious, I almost gave up on it within the first two mins. The woman cast as Ava Darling in my opinion wasn't the best choice. But all of her lovers were SPOT ON. There were amazing actors and I had to force myself to watch it. I think it ended on a good note. Not sure how they would turn out a second season for this?
Punisher is fucking great. If you're into comics that get gritty and violent. And Jon Bernthal is fucking sexy. I miss him from the walking dead.
If you like stooopid British Comedies, checkout People Just Do Nothing. Oh and Netflix also has Heathers. :)

Godless is the best western tv show this year. All the western elements, herotic women, useless douchbag guys, no unnecessary nudity,no dramatic stuipd shoot out. I just love this show, the shoot out at the end was very exciting, Love it!
You have hulu too? lol, I like how fast hulu updates the new tv shows. But The Handmaid's Tale is rather depressing for me, I do not like the thought of women reduce to organized re-populate resource. And all the sex in the first a few episodes are rape. It's a nah for me. It's a good TV show, I guess.

We have Hulu,Netflix,Amazon Prime plus Slingtv and still pay way less than our old cable package. Sometimes I put netflix on hold when I realize that no one is watching it. So that saves even more money.

Really, that sounds..scary.^
Anyway, does anyone know if the movie, "Breathe" a French film w/subtitles is on NF, Hulu, etc?
I was watching it on a free thing, it got cut off the last 20 min & I want to see the end.
They won't let me see what movies are available
Thanks a lot

I can handle the Handmades Tale, but that one may be too dark for me. Its interesting how we all have different thresholds, isn't it? I might take a peek at it.

There's a Breathe with this description on Netflix: A teenager finds an escape from her unhappy home life when she meets a charismatic new student, but their friendship grows increasingly more toxic.
This sounds like it could be like either My Summer Of Love or High Tension :)

I watched this last night. Yowza! So good! Kevin Bacon and John Goodman never fail to deliver a stellar performance.
* Is it bad that I thought the head gang leader was hot, and that I wanted to bang him? Hmm
Also, thinking about getting my own personal bodyguard. One that is hot, quiet, and one I can fuck.
Cause husbands like Kevin are just a pipe dream. Just my experience.
Edit to add: The flip phones had me cracking up. I had to see when it was filmed...2007.

The part that seemed like a joke was his choice of weapon. That was laughable and to be quiet honest, double barrel shotgun will not go through a thick concrete wall. But the movie was intense and I just over looked those.
I haven't made enough to hire a bodyguard ;D

I watched a few episodes of Crown. It's good if you are interested in British royal family.
Compare to Crown, I enjoy Downton Abbey more, which is odd.

Do you think queen Elizabeth watches crown? Does she complain about Netflix rate increase?
Do you think her husband ever spank her or a little domestic violence?
King Edward gave up everything for love, but the show portrayed him as an awful person.

The latest Katt Williams special wasn't that great. It felt like I was watching a scrimmage game. Like a practice run. But it is good to see him still in the game trying to pull it together.
I finally got through Narcos season 3. I didn't think it would be that great without Wagner Moura. It turns out I was wrong.
Before I Wake, I thought was so bad I had to force myself to finish it.
Peaky Blinders was great. Adrien Brody and Tom Hardy did their thing.
Attack The Block is now only available on DVD. This made me sad. Its one of my stoner favs. :( And I don't want to have to remember to return a dvd.

Some reports are saying that the show took it easy on King Edward. Personally I didn't think they made him look bad at all? Based on what the series displayed I thought he seemed more balanced and humane than anyone else. And his little bitchy comments about his family were funny.

I agree I don't think they made Edward look bad. Just the comments he had about his family were negative but I agreed with him anyway.
I was wondering if the Queen has watched it too lol I would think someone told her about it and she might've watched a little bit of it to see how accurate it was.
I think it's super crazy how ignorant she was and still held so much power. Final decisions were up to her and she had no idea what was going on in the world really. It's like how can someone living such a cushy life in a mansion know enough to make major decisions for regular people. Pretty crazy! Like she's sitting at a table drinking tea with her mom deciding on whether to go to war or not or something. Kind of a big deal lol
I did love watching the love story between her sister and Peter though.. even though it was a little depressing.
Edit: Actually scratch that about Edward lol I'm only in the middle of Season 2 so I didn't know about the rest

They broke up Margaret’s romance with Peter by threatening to take away her allowance. Margret caved.
Kind Edward has slight connection to Nazi party. He was the king, the whole royal family turn their back on him. All his bitterness in his letter. his love to his wife was admirable.
