I do have my old shitty laptop and a backup cam, thinking I could just run inadvertently splitcam that way - at least until I move and give the new internet speeds a try. Supposedly they have quadruple the upload I get here. We shall see.
Yeah, I caved and just bought myself a second Logitech C920 cam today so that I can just go the '2 laptops/2 webcams' route for now. If I were to spend money on VerySoft again only to still be unable to get it working, I'd flip the fuck out. Lol.

OK guys I need to make an insane amount of money for my house deposit asap (in 3 months, preferably 1-2) and REALLY need to max out on splitting all the sites i can. I am wondering what is the best way to handle MFC and CB together? MFC has been good to me and i have regulars there so i am thinking i will focus my attention there but just leave CB open the whole time, i don't care if they get a free show (so long as it doesn't happen every time). Do you have tips for encouraging tokens while CB is open and I'm doing a show on MFC? Will I make much on CB at all this way? I still haven't figured lovense nora out so my approach will continue to be chat, tease, countdowns to naked and cum shows, with the occasional private and skype.
Does anyone split these two with SM as well?
Majority of the time i'll be splitting aw/sm/skyprivate/indie, but i have a 'camathon' window for thursday and planning a full 24 hours on token sites. Maybe it's best the other way around cause of camscore :/ My head hurts....

I have the regular one(at $19.95), don't think you need pro version unless you do PiP.

This is not splitcam. It' s verysoft webcam splitter.
The one you are talking about it's still free but not so used anymore, we all use verysoft as it is better quality and less CPU. It is 20 for a lifetime license and worth it.
Things had changed, indeed. Nowdays we need to provide the best quality so we have to invest in i5, i7 computers, buy best cams, best splitters and what not lol.

OMG!!! ok, getting back in tune. i have an old laptop as my hubby is using mine i dont know for how long still as his is broken and i use the cam built in my laptop and all my clients tell me my cam rock, must be coz my internet is really fast, i have 100mb - my upload stays between 40 and 57, most of the time, but i have days at 68.
Back im the day i was camgirl full time, i had all the right and new equipments and 2 pcs, 2 cams, etc etc. But now i just started with what i have. And so far, so good. Now i just want to buy a new laptop as this LG is really getting more than old.
Anyway like i said, getting back in tune.

Thanks! I'm glad that this video is helping out a lot of people. I wish I had it when I first started splitting sites! I tried every splitter, (SplitCam, Manycams, Visit-X, YouCam, WebCamMax, CamSplitter), out there and VerySoft beat them all.

I'm still having issues with sound. I am using the BCC950 and if I choose verysoft as the audio no one can hear me. If I choose the BCC950 audio, only those on the first site can hear me. The other options are realtek high def speakers (i assume these are my laptop speakers?), and my other two webcams. The only way I've gotten aorund this is to the use the mic of another webcam (very inconvenient). MFC seems to be the worst site for having issues with my sound on. If the sound works on AW it is crackly or non existent on MFC *sigh*

Have you tried using different browsers for each site? That seems to fix audio for a lot of people.

Oh also, does chrome use more memory than firefox? I noticed when i have justcamit software, justcamit lite, mfc broadcaster with HD support, and skype all open at once my laptop fans go mental. They seem quieter with firefox but omg it's confusing having all those windows and try as i might to tile or arrange my screen all in one it's just really not easy.
**Edit posted at same time as Hyori. Yes I mean I'm using different browsers for different sites.

I would try updating the soundcard drivers and any firmware associated with your laptop. See if that works.

It's brand new, everything is up to date. It's probably me not knowing what the hell I am doing. I just click buttons and move webcams around until something works!!! :/

I have webcam splitter PRO.. Purchased it.. have the activation code, it has worked fine. I wanted to upgrade it to the new version, when I uninstalled the one I had. I accidentally downloaded the regular version. After It wouldnt activate, I realized it. and uninstalled the regular one and installed the new version of PRO. I used the activation Key. it says activated, then restarts... but when I go to put the camera source in, and run it, it still has the very soft logo on it. I have tried everything, deleting what i found in the registry restarting computer, redownloading, everything. The company really hasn't been very helpful. No matter what I do, I still have the verysoft logo backwards showing up in my stream. (I use for other sites NOT SM)
Has anyone had this issue and fixed it? I am totally clueless now!

I would suggest going back to a past Windows back up where you didn't have VerySoft installed at all and then try again from that point.

Thanks Hyori! Actually this worked to get rid of the new one.. brought back the old, but even trying to delete and use the new version same thing happened so for any one with this issue, its a bug!!
If you are going to use the new pro version, your old activation works for it, but when you are in the install, UNCHECK the setup of the Verysoft PiP camera
hope this helps if anyone else has the issue!!!

^^ VerySoft won't work with Mac's unless you use a PC emulator. ManyCam and CamTwist are splitters that work with Mac software.

Hyori, is there anything that you have to do with the output settings to save your text? mines there on the output settings box, but when I stream, its not there

Click text output button in the output window, then right click anywhere on output feed, and make sure "suppress in camera" is not checked.

SMBroadast isn't recognizing Verysoft as a video source, meaning I have to use the older encoder when I want to split. I could have sworn that it recognized it once when I ran it the first time, but not since. Is there a setting that I'm missing?
hyori

SMBroadcast will not work with any splitter, it's part of SM's strategy to discourage splitcamming.

I downloaded the verysoft webcam splitter but it won't let me open it from the short cut on my desktop or under program files:( I keep getting an error message saying that its already running but its not? :( How do I fix it please?
I was just looking thru the thread again tho and I see where its $20 for one of the versions but mine was free? Did I download the wrong one?
This is the one that I downloaded tho?

Hyori was nice enough to post a detailed tutorial on using the very soft software as well as the settings which I advise you to watch the full video & go along to get familiarized.. This is the only version you need ($20)
Which will remove the huge logo ad of the software from being plastered over your live footage
Once you purchase it will give you an activation code to remove logo

Sorry but I am not talking about removing the logo. I have watched the video and I think you misunderstood my question? I have the shortcut on my desktop and I cant even get it to open. I did not pay $20 for the program

Not sure if I should ask this here on in the "The Incredibly Detailed Guide to Computer Shopping" thread. Right now I'm using 2 computers to splitcam. I would like to be able to use the following on 1 computer...Streamate in 1280x720 HD via the encoder, Imlive in HD, Cams in 640x480 HD via the encoder, Flirt4free software in the highest setting, 3 different browsers and maybe Skype and possibly a few other camsites. I'm looking at these 3 computers and would like to know which would be the best to run everything.

Hey girls! I am coming with an issue:
I recently added a few more eggs to my basket and all are camming sites.
A part of them (Jasmin, ifriends and f4f) have their own software so, this is not an issue.
But I still have another 4 sites (Camcontacts, imlive, streamate, cams) that needs a browser to broacast from.
I mainly use Firefox for broadcasting so I was wondering if a single browser can handle 4 sites? (4 different windows, of course, not all tabs in a single one). Is it affecting my quality somehow?
Or do I need to add one more browser and split the sites (2 on firefox and 2 on the other browser)?
Sorry if I come with this dumb question, if has been answered already, please leave a link.
I am super tired right now, as I upgraded my pc with a new SSD and I had to re-install everything on it, organize, blah blah... >:(

You will need to really maximize your RAM + do not run other programs and I would recommend a second monitor or one giant monitor. Consider a 2nd PC or so your CPU% doesn't run too high or a ridiculously high end super-computer build (there are other threads which cover PC components, etc).

I do have a very good pc , I am broadcasting now on 6 sites and the CPU is 70% and RAM is 4,85 GB (I got 8GB in total).
I'd broadcast on camcontacts too, but it doesn't let me broadcast with verysoft, it gives me an error.
I'll look into it tomorow anyway.
MY issue was about the broadcast with so many sites on one browser, not the pc components, but thanks anyway.
So, for the moment, seems is working fine with broadcasting on firefox...

I use multiple browsers when I splitcam. Until very recently I used a desktop with 16gb of ram and I used verysoft for cams, imlive, and aw. Sometimes I switch it up. I may use two webcams to split with. As for the browsers I wouldn't recommend it. For cams I used firefox, Imlive IE11,Streamate for me is best in Chrome. Whenever I use two sites in the same browser I tend to run into audio issues.

Cutie101,
Actually, you are not the only one having problems with it comes to split camming with camcontacts. Camcontacts' software let me splitcam with only manycams or CyberlinkYouCam7. However, you get better picture quality with manycams. Also you will run into problems if you splitcam between Camcontacts and Myfetishlive if you use different browsers.

I have a macbook pro and if you pay for Manycam to get rid of the watermark, it's a pretty effective program for Mac as well. I like the PIP option. If I do an Ohmibod show, i have a webcam that i position on my vajayjay and another cam on my face or what ever and can transition smoothly to choose which stream I want to be the main stream and which stream I want in the smaller stream.. My stream fluctuates between 28-35 FPS so manycam really hasn't affected my streaming quality. I always had trouble getting camtwist setup but when it did work, it was decent but I prefer manycam.
The thing with camtwist, I would lose my sound on one site and have sound on the other but the image was still there.
I only split MFC and CB at the same time... 2 sites is enough for my short attention span lol When I had the mic issues it was hard getting it to work but with manycam, I would just pick manycam mic for one site and built in mic for the other one, and both my webcams have mics, I'm not sure which is better, but no one has complained about sound so far when I use it this way.

Just wondering if anyone else uses 2 separate laptops & 2 web cams to split with? I'm new to this & I tried splitting with my one laptop & c920 & it's built in cam with awful results. I don't think my internet speed or computer could handle it all on just the one I used. My sound was very low on one site & kept freezing up & my traffic was eh not great on the other. I noticed that my traffic got much better when I switched back to just streaming one site on it. Anyone else doing this by chance?

Tried it, no luck. I had to pick up gaming laptop. I split cam with 2 laptops, works much better than 2 separate laptops. If you can't afford initial cost of gaming laptop, try rent a center. Made huge difference, and rent a center, great tax writeoff

What is a gaming laptop? Why is it any better than a normal cheap laptop? Did you have to purchase a 2nd webcam also?

I had a 9000 from years ago, instead of splitting I get better HD and ranking when I split cam sites. A good PC is also a very good option, however I like the mobility of moving around. These are suggestions from us other ladies, on what has worked best for us and to increase our profits

Best thing to do with over priced "gaming laptops" is have a look at the actual parts. So that £2000 alienware laptop has the same spec as a £600 laptop. look for what edition the cpu is and ram mhz. You would be amazed....

Yes I have done this and bonus, you can put your cams right next to each other so you are looking right at them. It is a nice easy way to split imo.

i split 2 sites on one lap and now that i have my old I3 acer back (my hubby is traveling to the US for work and will buy his), i will split on 2 other sites. I use built in cam on both, on the newest one i have HD built in cam and my image is very good, on the other is not HD but when i asked clients how my image is, they never complained, so Im not buying external cams. I have great internet ISP (upload over 56 and download of 113), one lap on cable and one on wifi. the one on wifi i use for background sites.

So the two sites I use are SM and AW currently I work shifts on each one and I would like to be on both at once. My understanding is that if you can't use the new SM broadcaster that will effect placement? So would it be better just to get a second laptop or PC? I could then have one SM and then split on the other if I wanted too. I have a good spec gaming laptop that is new but also have an older laptop and C920 cam so could use that until getting a second better lap top too? I might add other sites but even with the glitches I like SM weekly pay so don't want to compromise my position on the site too much splitting.

I'm thinking of just investing in the Walmart acer laptops or the HP ones like I'm using now. They're only like $135 w/ a built in cam (mine doesn't have the best quality tho). I'd love to work both sites bc then I don't feel defeated if one site was slow for me that shift.

I've been splitcamming a few different sites... mainly MFC and Chaturbate... but I feel weird about doing countdowns with more than one site involved, since if the goal is reached on one site but not the other, customers might feel like their tokens didn't count. Is it best to only do countdowns with one site?
Are there other activities you prefer to do while splitcamming... such as just having a normal tip menu, or using interactive products, etc.?
Thank you for your help!! :)
