Seems very simple. I moved my desk to be in front of the window and opened my black out curtains. White blinds still closed. Stopped using 2 ring lights. I use one dimmable 18 inch ring light now with a warm to cool range but always like the 4100-4300 range. Then I adjusted the tripod of the ring light to behind my desk and at a higher height then my desk. Voila. Much better lighting!!

Yep! I use it to turn exposure to manual vs auto on my brio. It works ;)
Oh I meant ghub works but i have used the old logitech software also! They both work. You just need to make sure exposure is set to manual and itll stop auto adjusting with light vs dark colors, etc. I've never used that 'camera settings' shit they came out with because the options are limited, and well....shit. lol

You can use logitech g-hub also. You can use it to make a 'profile' for your settings and itll save them, even after you reboot which was a common issue with white balance being messed up after rebooting your rig. Vid about it here:

Thank you so much for this! For some reason ghub disappeared and I could not get it to re-download with the link on logitech's site. I'm so happy to have it back. I have it saved on external drive now.

My video looks grainy on manual for some reason, no matter where it is on the slider. Auto seems to work okay but I have not streamed with it yet.
I do like it so much better than "camera settings" or logicapture.

are you using the brio and it looks grainy?
I was having this issue with mine (one reason why I upgraded my lighting and added more light) and I had a dark blanket on my couch as a background and it would be super grainy on the dark background. the logitech brio can be super picky when it comes to stuff like that but if you can lighten up your room more it should improve that and make the graininess go away!

Yes, I use the brio. My couch is a light color but the curtains behind me are dark. I will switch them out with the light color curtains in another room. I have plenty of light. Thanks!!

You are a true lifesaver! The difference is incredible. My red nail polish now looks red instead of orange and I can add a little backlight again without washing me out. Manual exposure works too. No more grainy video. I can't thank you enough;D.

Awe yay! Thats so awesome!
Same happened with me I could adjust my white balance to make my cam no longer have a cool tone to it and it looks so much better. Changing the background to brighten things up with lots of light on the brio is 100% key! So happy to hear this. ;) youre so welcome!

Unfortunately, it didn't work with my brio. In the moment I unchecked the auto mode for exposure, the FPS dropped to 9. No matter how bright I was making it.
I am only using a ringlight tho... oh well, I tried :))

Bumping for new models
I see new models that need to turn off the white balance
different cameras have different settings but it looks like most are using the c920 - go into logitech settings and toggle the white balance off

Most would set white balance based on what lighting is set up. 5500k or it may need to be adjusted if you use other lighting. Settings for daylight white balance look terrible in a darker theme room. The OP didn't give options for different lighting situations.
I do adjust mine as the sun goes down and night outside
A lot of models cams went from beautiful colors to washed out And I could tell it was aggravating them by the way they kept adjusting themselves to trigger the color correction.
I would’ve logged in and told them but I get skiddish on cam when a model comes in my room.

Where do we find the logitech settings? I just plug in the cam to my laptop and go. I had no idea we had settings......
