A teen persona is great to play but prepared for the creeps. I really do not get too many creeps by playing 19 but I try not to wear too many schoolgirl type of outfits. :)
I've thought about playing up a "teen" persona but I feared it might attract creeps.

I'm 31 and say 26, almost 27 and people usually think I'm 22... Now I'm thinking of saying younger !

I just turned 31 and I say 25.
I just got tired of everyone saying, "well you cant do this forever you know" when I tell them my real age. Also stupid comments like, "you should start thinking about finding a man at that age", and "you should learn a skill or trade" just annoy me to death.
Thankfully, I look 23-24ish, so Im going to keep being "25" for the next few years!

I lie about my age all the time. People in my own family are confused by this as I have them going sometimes due to the fact I look really young still (a combination of luck with my baby-ish facial features, good skin and skin care and starting botox literally the second I turned 30). Don't feel bad about lying. They want you to lie to them. That's why they are there, for an escape from reality.

I either get people thinking I'm super young (20-23) or people guessing my age right (27-30) it usually depends on my stress levels and how much sleep I get. I'm prone to hereditary dark circles. I am iffy about lying because if it's one of those days where my stress levels and lack of sleep show in my face it would make me feel like shit if someone was like no way, you look way older" lol. If I do lie I don't go below 25 for that reason. I prefer guys not asking about age at all. In a perfect world they wouldn't lol

I say my real age on cam. Sometimes I lie saying 2-3 years younger. The obsession with being in your early/mid 20s is beyond me. When I was little I used to read Mom's fashion mags and I loved "mature" beauty (lets say 35-45) way more. Settled, refined, confident. Models in the 90s ahh...
Plus I struggle with understanding how old people are in RL, two of my friend are in their early 40s and look late 20s and many others who look 40ish are in their 20s. I cant guess age right even in RL.

^I couldn't agree more. Young beauty always looks so micromanaged, insecure, and self-conscious to me.

Tell them you are 76 😂😂 seriously, it works and gets a chuckle then when they ask you " no really, how old are you" then go down a bit on your real age, it's the whole shock of the 76 answer

I'm in my mid thirties but I usually just say 30 since I always get mistaken for being the same age as the younger 20-something dancers. I feel less self conscious about my age around younger customers for some reason.
What many of the ladies here say is spot on regarding the difference between how many younger strippers treat their bodies vs us older ones. I see them eating all the nasty takeout from the bar (which tbh, tastes like fried cardboard to me.) and always drunk.

When I stripped I told them what I look like which is young 20s, but now that I'm getting closer to 30, I don't want to hear what someone else said ageist comments about being too old to strip so i lie, they can't tell anyway lol

I'm 27 and have no issues with my age. I look great, make great money, etc. I actually look 100x better than I did when I was 18, thanks to self-care and learning how to do my hair / makeup.
But 27 is the first age I've hit where two things have started happening:
1) I regularly dance for men who are younger than I am
2) Customers have started to comment on my number when I give it to them.
We live in a culture that thinks women are practically dead by the time they're 30 (unless, of course, they don't know you're 30+, in which case they don't care as long as you look great), so guys have started reassuring me about my age when I tell them. They'll ask my age, I'll tell them with no hesitation or weird energy, and they'll say something like "Well, you still look incredible!" Umm...obviously. I'm only 27. Even if I were 37, why would it be surprising if I 'still' look great?
I'm considering starting to lie about my age, for *hustle* reasons (to make younger men feel like I'm their age, and to avoid people feeling like they need to reassure me about something that doesn't bother me). I don't want a number to potentially get in the way of them spending more money on me. And yeah, I know the whole "they shouldn't be asking" side of it, but IMO, it's a pretty normal question for a customer to ask who's interested in you. I don't mind answering it. I just want to make sure that it doesn't start to get in the way of my money, and I want to avoid the weirdness of them feeling like they need to reassure me (???) for my age.
Thoughts? Do you lie about your age for hustle reasons? Anyone else get these weird reactions?
I don't lie. I'm 43 as of this Saturday. Guys are usually surprised when they find out my age, and they actually think it's pretty hot! I've taken good care of myself over the years, and still out earning girls 10+ years younger. The younger guys love it because they love that I'm a "woman" lol and the old farts like that I'm older because then they don't feel weird talking to someone their daughters's age. You really can strip when you are older. I live and eat pretty clean and have a good attitude. I love this job because it has forced me to take good care of myself. Nobody has ever guessed me over 32. Usually I get 29-30. I always lol when girls are all "I'm 23 am I too old to strip? " haha if I can, you can too.

I just turned 43 on the 20th. I have never lied about my age, plus I kinda can't. I have regulars that have been following me to clubs since I was 23. (or at least keeping in touch with me on myspace/facebook). I don't even look close to my age and it actually makes me money on weekend nights when the young guys want a "milf". It also works on day shift when older men don't want to lapdance with a girl young enough to be their granddaughter. I just never found it useful to lie. I don't look 43, I'm usually pegged for 26-30 at most. I've led a drug free, mostly stress free life life and I have good genes. It's all good. I'll probably stop dancing when I get my first wrinkles that are noticeable like crows feet or something.

I always shoot for 26-28. I am 38 now and I sometimes say 31, like when I know the guy is onto it. But even then, they are shocked that I am out of my twenties. Never say past 31. Age may not matter to us ladies as much but it absolutely does matter to the guys. We are in this for money and young and hot is what sells. I try to say 28 tops and if they doubt me I say ok, fine, I'm 31 but I hate saying that lol. And then they tell me how hot they think I am for 31 (as if it's ancient, and meanwhile they are 50). And meanwhile I am also 38 lol.

I've changed my mind. When I go back to,work im telling them my real age (29). Let them be "shocked" lol. 30 isnt old by any stretch and I'm not helping things any in that dept by lying. They probably think 30 is old cause all these 35 year olds are saying they are 21. And almost all custies will tell you that you "look sooo much younger" that's the first thing guys do when they are trying to hustle you and they are as full of it as we are.

Im 36, but when I first started camming I dont even remember what I put, but everyone did, and still assumes im in my early to mid 20's. I dont really feel a need to " adopt" the age they think, but i also dont feel obligated to say otherwise- sort of helps when im vague and let them assume because if they think im younger and want that range? epic, if they think im older? great whatever. Some of it could be looks, some of it could just honestly be my personality and how I present and carry myself, but age is really the one thing ive never cared about dealing with since to me its always been a pointless issue to stress about as your " ALWAYS" an ideal age for someone and if they spend money because of it? own the hell out of it, atleast thats one reason i just enjoy letting them assume whatever they want

I'm 32, I don't lie and often get a wide range from 21-28. i usually just pat their hand and say "aww you're sweet" and it works. they Move on. the younger ones occasionally are curious but I often turn it back on them.

I'm pleased to report that the guys are not deterred by an age post 31. A concept which I have tried and tested over the last couple of decades. There is always a market for pussy regardless of the level of chronological advancement.
If you can get away with 31 when you are 60 then awesome. Meanwhile in the real world.
Some guys enjoy spending time with those of a perhaps more mature outlook, in my extensive experience.

Your age actually becomes an asset. If guys are guessing you at 10 to 15 years younger, and then you state your actual age, they actually think you're way hotter. If you're 40 yet look 29, guys go crazy for that.
