It takes me one episode of project runway to do my hair and makeup (full face, lashes, extensions). 2 hours of martial arts (grappling based so there's lots of strength and endurance involved), 1 hour of just cardio every week. + I give myself lots of time for at home spa treatments and luxurious baths and I do my own gel mani pedi's.
I am interested in this martial arts! Would love to know via pm how to find a decent dojo.
OT/ I strength train seriously so thats at least 6 hours a week. It isn't 'for' camming per se, but very toned legs and ass are a side benefit so I feature them a lot for work. It takes an hour to get ready including shower and makeup on a non-hair removal day, two hours for days I get more involved.

LMAO.. I feel the same way.. makeup, tank top panties.. no nails done, no pedicure , no jewelry or heels.. although I would like to sometimes... .. no $40 bras.. they do not recoup the cost at all.. and very uncomfortable
I don't spend a lot of time because the guys are not worthy. I just do my daily make up and get on cam. That's good enough for me!

I take about 30 mins to get ready for cam for hair/makeup and getting dressed.
Tend to go to the gym for a couple hours most days or if not working out on my exercise bike at home or a Zova workout vid on Apple TV :)

About 15 minutes to get on cam daily, takes me about an hour every other day for hair removal, shampoo/condition once a week, dye hair every 3-4 weeks which takes a few hours. Only makeup I wear is tinted lip balm, and I brush my hair, don't need to style it.
Workout about 8 hours/week lately.

Not much at all. I usually put effort in to putting on nice lingerie, and making sure my hair is straightened, but that's all. Camming has been such shit lately that I don't want to waste the time putting on make-up, and clipping in hair extentions, just to make a little bit of money.

I go to gym, I do face exercises to prevent wrinkles, because I noticed I have few, I try to eat healthy every day. When I go on cam I need 20mins to get ready, sometimes more if I feel ugly. I do my usual make up, sometimes straighten my hair. I wear shirt and panties, or wear something cute I'd wear everyday. I definitely need to invest in new underwear and clothes for camming. And I do my nails all the time.

It takes me about 30-45 mins, depending how much I'm procrastinating. I usually put something on Netflix in the background while I'm doing my makeup.
I haven't worked out regularly for a long time, but that's something I want to get back into because I know it makes such a huge difference to my energy levels. Nothing says 'don't tip me' like looking tired in a long cam session.
I would totally recommend laser for hair removal. I've had laser almost everywhere below the neck and the only area that I'm still getting touchups on is my underarms (every three months and minimal regrowth between sessions). I got it done in sections and it's literally changed my life. You don't even realise how much time you spend on hair removal until you don't have to any more, and it's heaven knowing I'll never again look down at my legs and realise I forgot to do them and it's an overgrowth emergency.
Yep I'm definitely considering it. I also think it might work out cheaper in the long run because I use a fresh razor every day (I buy them in packs of five) and it's just a bit ridiculous. I tried cutting down but I didn't feel 'right' in myself when I hadn't done it and then I felt slightly off on cam, and it was kind of nagging in the back of my mind. It's stupid really because I doubt anyone can tell the difference apart from me and maybe I just need to make myself not do it more or something. On the days I don't cam I don't even shave so it's just like it's become part of some kind of routine.

You said it! I have those $40 bras, and started to think they were a waste of money, because I never wear them unless someone requests them.
Put one on the other day,,,"Ouch"! I begged one of my regs to take me to prvt just so I could take it off.
F..ck that!

I spend around $250 a month on just makeup and body products. $45 on unlimited hot yoga, $60 on shampoo and conditioner, $50 or so on body care, and the rest on make up. If I'm straightening my hair, it takes a little over two hours to get ready, but normally it just takes 45 minutes for makeup and an updo.
Don't get me started on clothes and lingerie...

It takes me anywhere from 30-45 minutes for makeup (full face, intricate eyeshadow, the works) if I don't get distracted. I usually just throw on panties, thigh highs, and a shirt, so it doesn't take much time or forethought. Brush my hair lol. Apart from that, I go to the gym 5 days a week for an hour, and I might get my nails done every now and then.

Man, I feel like a slob now haha. I do basic make up (full coverage foundation/concealer, brows, eyeliner, mascara, blush, whatever lip product I feel like that day), shower (shave legs/underarms about every other day, pussy immediately before every shift, and spend a few min attacking my feet with a pumi bar in case of feet guys), then brush my hair and get on cam. So 30 min to an hour depending on how much I procrastinate. I paint my toes every three weeks or so and my nails a few times a week. I used to get acrylics because they're the only way I can stand to have long nails while camming (they're thick and dull so they don't feel like sharp little knives in my vag), plus being able to go a couple weeks with the same polish is amaaaazing, but after a while getting a fill felt like paying to be tortured so I took them off. I haven't done my roots in about a year. I never work out outside of general life stuff. I may be the laziest camgirl alive.
Luckily, since I don't do free chat the way I look on any given day doesn't have a major effect on my earnings as long as I don't look significantly worse than my pics. And since I take terrible pictures my customers are pleasantly surprised :D

I worked at a bird store for the past 3 years and because of that I mostly stopped with all of these glamorous things lol. Birds would try to take my jewelry off, sometimes they would be afraid of nail polish colors and I was pretty rough on my nails then, I was always covered up, so shaving didn't matter, makeup was pointless and the birds would be inclined to mess with it, and bras...fuck bras.
Funny story, I actually stopped wearing bras because I developed a painful lump under my left breast. The doc said stop wearing bras and it went away. I tried wearing them again and it came back. I wear them sometimes now for working out, but mostly I will use nipple covers if I need to have that look. Honestly I think my boobs look better now and have toned. I definitely believe that French study about nipple pointing up after women stopped wearing bras.
Currently I don't do much, but I'd like to try doing more again, so here's a list of what I do and what I want to do:
1) Do nails at least once a week. I brought my nail polish and it's collecting dust waiting for me to start lol
2) Experiment with at least a little makeup. I wear glasses, so it's a little harder finding a balance between natural and noticeable lol. I think I'll be watching youtube videos to relearn all of this.
3) Hair...oh boy. After the end of May I'll be going in for hair stuff. Last time I went she lopped over 6 inches off! I kind of wish she'd given me a chance to let what she was about to do sink in, but all well. That was last August, so I'm about due to go in. At the end of May I have a wedding to go to, but after that I want to go get my hair done and colored. I think depending on what she does I can go in once every month or two to get it touched up. I'm giving her free reign this time because the last time my hair was so cute and wonderful and it lasted a long time. My hair just has to go with pink, purple, and red, my future Rispy Hoe Room theme. I'm not really into styling. If I brush it while I'm wet it will be straight, if not it will be wavy. Pony tail or down are my usuals. I may try more based on youtube if my hair dresser doesn't cut it too short lol.
4) Shave/Wax. It would be nice to go get waxed every month/month and a half. It's a nice thing that my grandmother likes to do with me and I've known the lady who does it for 13ish years now. She doesn't do Brazillian, but I can use Nair for that. The guys don't seem to mind the hair until it's getting to about where it's at now, so I can wait the amount of time I need to for the hair to grow out. Getting my facial hair (mustache and eye brows) goes along with this. I like getting my mustache waxed and my eye brows threaded and shaped.
5) Until the wedding I'm going to double up on exercising. I usually try to do it at least an hour 4 times a week. For the wedding I'll be attempting two one hour sessions a day for 5 or 6 days a week. I'm going to try my best to follow Shortcut to Shred (which is free btw as are many of the other programs on bodybuilding.com) Would anyone be interested in a thread to encourage people to join in? I think the Winter challenge is probably over by now.
6) I drink a lot of tea and I've been drinking it straight of with a dash of milk. I think this helps my body detox :) Someone mentioned psyllium earlier. I love that stuff! I swear it saved me. I got sick a couple of years ago and my digestive system got badly screwed up. For a while I couldn't eat any type of wheat, I wasn't regular and when I did go it was as though I had food poisoning and extremely painful. Psyllium helped with that. I started taking a spoon or two in my milk daily and eventually my body actually fixed itself and no longer needed it :)
7) I take vitamins daily. I use the NOW brand (learned about it from the bird store) and it is the best brand I've used. My mom takes bilberry and has for years for her eyes. We've tried all different brands and this one works the best and lasts the longest. I can feel the difference when I'm not taking their Eve supplement. Additionally they have a ton of other great products. Cat's Claw is a natural antibiotic. We had a Budgie come in that had been attacked by a cat and had oozing wounds. You'd think this bird would have died from infection. The manager mixed a little water with a capsule of Cat's Claw and we gave a few drops to the bird twice a day and she recovered. I tried it last time I got a sinus infection (I've gotten them often enough throughout my life that I know when I have one) and it fixed me up instead of me having to wait until I could go to the doctor. I'm contemplating trying some of their diet/weight management products too. Anyhow great brand and supplements from a good brand definitely make a big difference.
8) Now that I've moved out I've moved in a much healthier direction food wise. I don't diet, but I try to eat really healthy. We have sushi the day that I get groceries because the turnover at my favorite grocery store is daily, the fish is very fresh. I'll get mostly seafood for protein and we'll eat that throughout the week. If I get any other meat I tend to get lean meats, such as very lean beef, chicken, or turkey. I also like to get the steamable pouches of veggies from the freezer section, though I've been doing more fresh lately. Fresh fruits and veggies has become a big thing for me. I like the salad kits and bowls, grapefruit, oranges, apples, etc. I try my best to eat them over less healthy stuff. As for breads I found a really nice bread that is high in protein (even the darn cats like it). Peppridge Farms Ancient Grains bread has 5g of protein per slice and is really yummy. Now that school is about over I'll be making a lot more food :) I currently don't have a working oven and I've found that it's probably for the best. The only things that I really need the oven for tend to not be the healthiest lol.
9) Lastly I drink a ton of water. Not necessarily because it's healthy, but I like the taste of water lol. It's bad enough that any animal I raise tends to do it to lol.
That's it. Thank you so much for making this thread. It was really great to read through it! Btw has anyone tried Lumosity? I'm considering trying it, but I keep going back and forth.
Btw do I'd like to hear more about your thoughts on wigs and contacts. I'd like to get some contacts from pinkyparadise and some brightly colored wigs to change things up and just because they are fun :)
More thoughts that I forgot!:
VS will be having one of their semi-annual lingerie sales soon (I normally don't like them for their poor quality, but if I'm wearing the stuff every now and then on cam I think it will last. Also a girl posted this pic with this gorgeous bra from the end of last year and I'm hoping they will have it) Yandy has amazing cyber Monday sales. Everything is either worth what you paid or worth more than what you paid and their return/exchange policy is awesome. If I wanted something to wear regularly (bra wise) I'd go to a local store that imports lingerie and spend $100+ on a bra. They last and are worth it. Plus the store I go to will fix them up when they get a little worn out, though I never had that happen with one of their bras. Admittedly I haven't worn the bras that I got from there in several years because my size went up, I tried VS ones, and then I stopped wearing bras all together.
I'd like to learn how to put corsets on myself because I've collected some cheap ones (not steal boned, but material tends to be okay) and would like to wear and strip out of them like in burlesque shows. I wouldn't mind investing in some more customized corsets and lingerie from etsy as well ^_^

The makeup tutorials are great however they are very rarely vegan/cruelty free, or UK based, so I can't buy any of the products they use. Searching for UK vegan beauty bloggers (that actually look well put together and like you want to learn from them) is frustrating at best. I buy all my products from superdrug's own, their 'B' range, some Barry m, urban decay, and Lush. Nothing looks or acts like the products in these beauty vlogs so I gave up. I need someone to come in and make me over from head to foot. Don't get me wrong, I do fine on cam, but I am sick to the back teeth of how I look.
@ripsy I spent most of my life up till early 20's training, working with, and riding horses, so I feel you totally on the bird thing! I'd still rather be in wellies and an old jumper, with straw in my hair, than faffing around trying to look or stay looking good.

I do simple makeup, so maybe 20 minutes. I use tarte and other natural makeup products.
I do a lot for my overall health and it really does show up in my energy, looks, and overall vibe in videos. I can tell my videos are much better when I'm feeling good, and my skin and eyes look better.
I second the recommendation for NOW vitamins. It's a good brand for vitamins and amino acids. I like Nature's Way much better for any herbs.
I have health conditions that I use these things for, but they also help my looks. People routinely say I look about 10 years younger than I am.
Hyaluronic acid
gynostemma tea
Duanwood reishi
Gotu kola (for skin)
Lucidera Schisandra
Paleo diet (gluten-free, dairy-free)
Detox tea simmered with black cumin seed (kalonja)
Raw food when I can (organic carrots and frozen blueberries from Costco)
My plan is to age really well by doing these things so I can keep up this work for a long time.
Brandon Gilbert has good info about tonic herbs.
I make my own face mask with some of these herbs and jojoba oil and honey. It is really powerful.
I also exercise for 30+ mins every day and try to get up occasionally and not sit down all day.

This has been an interesting read. Lots of good info!
I love doing makeup but I've been pretty basic about it on Cam so far, I feel I look younger with less makeup on. Plus my cam sucks so bad I don't think they'd even notice if i hadn't any on lol luckily I have simple quick dry straight hair and blonde so I don't have to shave my legs just the other bits. But Getting ready has been taking me like 40 mins to an hour (including outfits and setting up my craptastic lil set up *sigh*)
out of curiosity do yall lovely ladies have any CAM SPECIFIC Beauty tips or tricks? Like things that can hide certain things or may appear really cool on cam even if it's like a glued on gummy bear or something? Lol what about body glitters/paints? Stuff like that?
The most time it takes me is getting my stuff out and getting it into place. Makeup is light in case I have to go out or someone unexpectedly comes over. I haven't seen a hairdresser in about 7 years- far too expensive for me. I would love to be able to splurge on massages. Nails- I love the fake nail look, but too much hassle, my hands are always in water, and the extra expense. Not to mention I hated sitting there having to suck in the fumes. Exercise- I really need to find the time.

I'm not here to tell anyone what they must do. However, there are some things that make most people look better when they are in front of a HD camera and lots of bright lights:
1) A color correction primer or foundation for the face. These can be sheer or opaque, some are basically just lotion and provide little noticeable effect in daily wear, but under bright lights, things change. Different light bulbs can make you look sick, or a filter, or whatever. Because I my coloring, I actually use purple tissue paper on my lamps, which means I have a cooler look to my face and I do makeup accordingly. I don't know if you stream on SM or if you use the broadcaster, but it has a color adjustment option (which I like better than the logitech controls, go figure), and I take the green down a bit and up the red. If you have redness issues, for example, you'd want to lower the red saturation, and maybe up the green. I'm very sensitive to colors, so this is all very important to me, but I can see this being way too annoying for other people.
2) shape and FILL your brows. The eyebrows are the MOST important feature of the face when it comes to expression, definition, and general presentation. On regular days I use a brow pencil to give them a little shape and evenness (I have several random scars on my eyebrows because I hit a lot of things with my face as a child), but on cam I line them slightly outside of my natural brow and fill with a gel (Anastasia dip brow). It looks heavy and a little overboard in real life, but the camera tends to erase the edges of my brows, so what actually appears is more reasonable. I wish the importance of good eyebrows wasn't so crucial because I hate doing my brows, but I can't overstate the need to pay attention to your eyebrows.
If you have five minutes and want to do the bare minimum, I would recommend a luminous primer/foundation (you can use two products, mix them on the back of your hand, and apply with a damp beauty blender to create a blend), brows, lashes, a swipe of blush, and a lip tint (you can actually use the same product as a lip and cheek tint--most products that tint one will tint the other just fine and it's a perfect match). Blush and lip tints will be more optional for some models who naturally have more color in their faces. For most people's lighting, the focus should be skin, brows, and lashes.
I have opinions on black eyeliner that could likely get me exiled, so let me say a few things: 1) learn to use liquid/gel liner 2) if you must use a pencil, sharpen it 3) watch out for your lower lash line; when in doubt, skip it. 4) frankly it looks odd when someone has a lot of eyeliner on upper and lower lashlines, but the brows are unaddressed: if there is only time for one precision application, choose your brows.

Ok so this shits changed. I sweat so much/spend so much time face down/ass up that I just do foundation, little blush and lip, finish it off with a sealing spray. Tired of seeing my damn pillow looking all flawless from my glow kit!!
Makeup has always been for other girls anyway, since I've upgraded by cam, and lighting a bit, I sill look ok. I wax monthly so dont have to shave. So from shower to show I wanna say 20 min-30 tops. If im tired of typing, sometimes the shower IS the showIt can be 40 sometimes because I can never seem to find my fucking thongs!! I have so many of the same ones im like are they going to think im wearing the same one as yesterday?lol
Takes me about 20-30 min for a full glam face of makeup (contour, highlight etc) I wear lash extensions so I don't have to deal with that. My hair, I wear a wig so that cuts down majorly on that time. I've always kept my nails and feet done, I redo my nails every 2 weeks, more often if someone has a special request. I normally work out 4-5 days a week doing a boot camp style type work out as well as running. Ive cut back on my harder work outs a LOT because I have been dealing with chronic Achilles Tendenious to the point I may need surgery since its been going on for almost a year :( That being said, Im not as toned as normal, but guys seem ok with that. I'm sure i could do better if i were able to get back to the hard core ass chiseling shit im used to
,
But if im doing like a wake up show, Ill just do basic makeup. Reinforce brows, base, light contour, foundation highlight instead of shimmer etc.. of course i lie and tell them "I woke up lie dis"

I work out 4 or 5 days but I always have. I don't get nails done but I do my own pedi. I spend a lot on hair and makeup and doctor prescribed lotions because I think they work best. For cam I take about 30 minutes. I'm not getting dolled up on my best MAC for these guys. I use some cheap Maybelline and Almay and go. Works the same on cam. I don't tan but men compliment my complexion.

Usually Sephora. One with a mall location. I will narrow it down to two recommended, apply one to each side and go do a bit of shopping. I will compare how they oxidize under store and natural lighting and purchase the one that holds up. Being a brown skinned girl, there is a real problem with foundations oxidizing, making the colors change. They either go too deep or ashy. No one wants to look like an anemic clown on cam...unless there is a fetish for that...and what can i get PM?
I prefer Sephora or store like that vs makeup counters as the counters tend to be very brand loyal. Most Sephora girls/guys just really love makeup.

Before Camming I spend about 30 mins on appearances, this includes washing face, tooth brushing etc. I do not wear a lot of makeup...heavy liquid liner, mascara and we'll placed concealer only where I need it.
I am not a spring chicken, am going to be 34 so keeping up appearance is very important to me. At 27 I stated living a green lifestyle. I no longer used store bought products on face, hair or body. It can take more effort to live this way, but I see results. I get mistaken for 10 years younger, constantly. It is the way I carry myself that reveals my true age.
My nightly anti aging routine has become a pain in the ass. I cannot go to bed unless I do the following:
Use humidifier with distilled water, cleaned out I've a week, emptied and dried in sun once a day.
Brushing and flossing
Spraying face with Apple cider vinegar or a sea salt toner
Using a combo of vitamin e and extra virgin olive oil slathered on face every night
Combing hair gently and wrapping or using a sock bun
Combo oils rubbed on neck, chest tits and ass, at times while body.
Acv and using oils had prevented a lot of aging. I was once a smoker but recently quit. My skin should be showing more signs of aging but it is not. I do not have a single wrinkle, under eye bags or darkness. It amazes me and thus is due to 100% of me not stripping my skin with harsh store bought cleansers, using harsh astringent and toners and excessive use of natural moisturizers aka oils and not store bought moisture.
In the am I duo not wash with soap, I rinse with lukewarm water and pat dry, and moisturize with my oil blend, then time for makeup.
Wayne Goss YouTube is amazing for any imperfections. I never use a lot of makeup and feel makeup should be used to enhance not completely alter appearances. Thanks to Goss I now know how to cover acne scars like never before. I use high quality film makeup so I can expense it on taxes. For every day use I love Maybelline. I was a longtime lover of loreal and Revlon but Maybelline has stolen my heart. I don't use those organic producs because they are a crock of shit. Cosmetic industry is not regulated so you cannot believe packaging claims. I avoid cosmetic products with too many ingredients though.
When I want to remove makeup, I again use the oil blend, shower off...then I use sea salt and duo not rub but pat into skin. A good sea sit has many minerals, as does the salt/acv toner and oil blend. I rinse, use my toner either or depending on my mood and then oil blend.
I also dry brush and do facial massages and exercises. Dry brush every day, massages at least once weekly. Epsom salt/sea salt baths and other dtox baths once weekly. Salts are amazing for the body inside and out.
So As you can see, I did not use harsh store bought cleansers, toners or moisturizers. Without makeup I can still pass for 24. I moisturize upwards of 3 times a day. Moisture is key for anti aging. I am thinking of aging a good quality retinol product though. It hurts my home remedy loving ass to say that. I am also not against injectables and would get restalyne within the next few years. I feel it is too early to start now but baby botox can help prevent aging If used correctly in small amounts. Rather then using it when skin is already wrinkled and showing signs of age.
I also eat well and workout/lift every other day.

I posted before in this thread, but I will make more detailed list of what I do to be beautiful, some of this stuff changed my life.
-I use Ganoderma Lucidum capsules (Reishi mushrooms), my friend who is a doctor recommended it to me, they are scientifically proved to stop aging process, build stronger immune system and have million of benefits for your organism (some people even treat cancer with it, they are very powerful)
-Every 2,3 days I mix castor oil and coconut oil and put it on my hair, and sleep with it, also panthenol sometimes for hair strength and faster growing
-I use shampoo with 0% parabens and perfumeand let my hair dry naturally whenever I can
-I take Q10 capsules for better skin
-From time to time I add supplements to my nutrition: vitamin B, vitamin E, magnesium, calcium, zinc
-I stopped using body milk and switched to organic oils: olive or coconut
-That goes for my face too, coconut oil works best for my face
-Retinol night cream every second night before I go to sleep
-Clay mask for clear skin, this mask is wonderful if you have breakouts, it purify the skin, helps with wrinkles and pores
-For full body detox 30min bath made of sea salt, sodium bicarbonate and essential oils
-I drink a lot of tee (mint, green, chamomile, aronia)
-I do at least 20min of yoga everyday before I go to sleep, it's good for body, mind and soul
-I love to lift weights and go to gym, if I don't go I do basic body weight workout in my flat (at least 40min)
-I highly recommend sauna, but I don't have that option so I steam my face for 5-7min every week
-I try really hard to learn how to sleep on my back because I want to prevent wrinkles
-Sleep is the most important for looking good (when I can't fall asleep melatonin capsules help)
-Light face exercising and face yoga 10-15min everyday (exercises that don't stretch my face too much because those cause more wrinkles)
-I use a lot of castor oil, it's really great stuff, beside hair I use it for stronger nails, rough skin, stretch marks, scars
-I wash my face with Dove soap (Idk do you know it) and try to keep my skin routine basic as possible because too much products is not good
-I got this advice long ago: don't put on your skin anything you wouldn't put in your mouth, too bad I need a lot of make up for camming, organic make up here is bullshit so I continue to use Deborah Milano and Rimmel

I started using red raspberry oil instead of sunblock. It has a natural spf of 50! I can stay as pale as a vampire if I wish and not get cancer from the shitty toxic sunblocks that have avobenzene, parsol and titanium dioxide.

I'm a failure when it comes to performing femininity, so I feel like I half-ass a lot of my hair and make-up. I'm slowly learning new make-up skills and it takes me about 30 minutes to put on foundation, concealer, eyeliner, eye shadow, and mascara. I don't do much to my hair. I keep my outfits very simple as well. I also try my best to keep up with a good skin care routine.
The main thing I focus on is my exercise routine. I work out 5-6 days a week for 30 min - 1 hour. When I look my best, I feel my best, and I make more money that way.
