Yummm I had a grilled chicken salad today and then shrimp with cocktail sauce. So tasty!
I think it's super cute how the chef is just standing there next to this guy looking proudly at the meal he made for the customer. It looks good! https://youtu.be/8WikJ01y-08?t=847

They dress up nicely, too. A little shredded cheese, air fry a couple sausages and cut them up, and it’s, “This is dinner, because I’m not cooking tonight”.

I'm obsessed with my George Foreman grill! I don't like to use my oven, so I cook everything on there instead. I just made myself a juicy sirloin steak sauteed in olive oil, salt, and ground pepper. Sometimes I also use garlic butter and it tastes soooo good! My other favorite thing to make on there is grilled salmon with a teriyaki glaze, mmmm!
I'll be honest, I usually cook my sides in the microwave...like frozen vegetables, frozen/packaged rice, or a baked potato. It tastes just as good, and so much easier! I'm really not much of a cook overall, but when I do cook, I like to make it as easy as possible for myself.

Nothing wrong with that. You’re eating real food, so it’s not like you’re nuking TV dinners nightly.

This was my key lime/sour cream tart, my key lime marshmallow almond pie, my hazelnut/nutella tart and then two berry tarts:

^^^Lol I once drove way out into the boonies to a stand that sells preserved ostrich egg shells to get one for my friend's birthday(she wanted one). But they're empty, it's just a big hollow egg. My friend, my sister and I all have some weird random obsession with fake eggs.

I have a… well, they live down the road from me a little bit, so not exactly neighbors. But they raise chickens and ducks and often have an excess of eggs, so I get both chicken and duck eggs from them fairly regularly. Duck eggs… not if you’re counting calories, otherwise they’re absolutely great to sub in for chicken eggs.

It was so good! Personally, I was nervous because I was thinking about boba tea and the ball things they have in the drink and hoping it wasn't going to be a catastrophe but I liked it!
Kinda want to start this new idea I have of splurging a few times a month on something I've always wanted to try and eat. Obviously it will be sparing and not too expensive. I really want to try just a small amount of caviar next! I've never had it before and salmon roe has made me want to even more!

When I was working as a VIP flight attendant we occasionally served real caviar and we used to eat the leftovers from the cans after we served on their plates. It didn’t get me, so to speak. Might have been better with the frozen vodka we served along, we didn’t get that though..

I love caviar, but I like the really expensive kind so I rarely have it. I’ve seen Martha Stewart make omelets topped with creme fraiche and caviar and omg they make me drool.
I’m gonna make these shrimp tacos in the next few days:

So I made those shrimp tacos I linked, they were okay, but then I made my own shrimp quesadilla recipe for the next couple days and OMG. They taste extremely similar to the shrimp tacos from my favorite mariscos place. Yesterday I made this:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6HjlOilzJWQ
I didn't have a star tip big enough for piping the mashed potatoes into those pretty swirls so unfortunately I just spread the potatoes out evenly across the pie so it wasn't pretty, but it was delicious. I had half last night and am eating the other half tonight. Over the weekend however I made two dozen of my favorite food ever.......donuts. And as much of a donut freak as I am I've never had one of the stereotypically pink ones(I call them Simpsons donuts) so I made them along with chocolate which is my favorite. They were INCREDIBLE. Nothing tastes as good to me as a fresh warm donut.

I ordered something similar yesterday haha. The one issue was the sea urchin. I just couldn't bring myself to eat it because of the smell.

I made this lemon cream tart, it was good because it was a lemon tart, but it wasn't amazing: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=128AsL3Y-k0 I also was going to use a pastry bag to pipe the whipped cream into a pretty design like the vid but when I gave the bag shake to shift the cream down into the tip two big glops flew out and landed on the tart so I gave up and just spread the whipped cream out on top instead:

I was eating almost nothing but chicken this past year, beef was always my favorite meat and what I ate the most of but for some reason last year I got turned off from it and have not been craving it at all......until like 2 weeks ago. All I want is burgers. I keep making cheeseburgers and frozen fries day after day. Even for breakfast a few times.
I made this last night: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7yExYJmwTbI
My friend is coming over for a sleepover soon, I made her a garlic crabmeat pasta dish a long time ago and she loved it and still fantasizes about it so I'll be making it again for her. Only thing is usually I use the lump crabmeat from the seafood section because I don't feel like dealing with cracking crabs, but it tastes SO much better with fresh crabmeat. If they have crabs when I to the store I think I will take the plunge. I'm also going to make her my chocolate-filled crepes because they're one of the best desserts I've ever had and she is a fellow chocoholic, and in the morning I'm going to make her a dalgona coffee because she's never had one:

With the number of people in this house, absolutely. Aside from cook times and temp, also look for which rack to place it on, e.g., I do pork chops up top, but chicken at the bottom. And there may be a bit of trial and error, but mine has done well for me. I have the Instant 10 qt. with the rotisserie.

I followed the instruction on the manual step by step but the meat products always end up too dry on the surface. I am going to try some chicken wings tonight. Maybe I'll lower the cooking temporature.

I did my meal prep for the coming week. Here's a breakfast hash recipe I got from YT. It has ground turkey sausage, sweet potatoes, zucchini, honey crisp apples and white onions. For seasoning I used ground sage, ground ginger, cinnamon and a tiny bit of salt.

Yesterday I tried making carbanara with hearts of palms pasta. It was terrible! I would not recommend it. It overpowered all the other ingredients and there was so much chewing. It didn't absorb any of the flavors like regular pasta would. I will stick to zucchini noodles.
