Yes. It was hard to vote for him. I don't agree on everything he says, but I agree with her less.
Wow, ok, I'm sure you guys know far more about your own political system than me over here in UK, but from where I am standing Trump is a racist and sexist and definitely not someone to be trusted running a country. He'd get on well with our tory government over here!
Both parties are racist as far as I can tell. Watch Hillary's America. True story by the guy that made it. Very interesting and things I had no idea about in there. Such as the lady that started Planned Parenthood. I love P.P. used them alot when I was growing up and it was often the only source of health care I had. But when you see why they got started...

Yea I just checked how much the plan is for next year we are on .. which I probably will stick with the same thing since I am happy with the doctors we picked and my son has Type 1 diabetes.. anyhoo.. the premium is DOUBLE for the same plan we have... uggh
If Hillary gets it, and she most likely will you can thank her for more Obamacare rate hikes keeping your middle class and upper poor guys off of cams. They want something around $200 per person for a cheap ass can't even get nothing for free beyond weak and basic ass plan. So for me and my husband that would be $400 per MONTH extra. They're looking at your income yes. But they're not taking into account that most Americans are at their breaking point financially. Our bills were at their limit before they decided to try to chain Obamacare to us. As a cam model I'm not even making that extra.
AND then. If I get sick I have to pay out of pocket up to $10,000. WTF kind of health care plan is that??? So I can never see a DR. on this plan let alone afford meds. Then they turn around and would give the hard earned $ that I give them to someone who doesn't even work or better yet an illegal or a refugee.
So as much as I would love to see a woman president, and I voted for Obama- I had to switch sides and vote Trump. Check out Hillary's America on Redbox too and tell me how she looks after that.

Though I am very psychic, I can tell when someone is about to knock on my door and shit like that.
Well I just read a few articles about who would become our next president.. the articles were from December 2015.. and they( psychics, if you believe in that sort of thing) all said Hillary would be the next president.. so we'll see!.. However one also said that we were going to be in another recession next year.. which .. omg as a camgirl cannot deal.. the worst thing about cam is the boredom I have... so boring sitting around waiting for tips and privates.. drives me crazy!

I'm voting for a third party. I grew up with a multi racial family in a heavily military populated area. Choosing to vote for either a blatant racist or someone who didn't even get a slap on the wrist for something that would've put any military member in the same shoes in prison (or at the very least dishonorably discharged) doesn't exactly evoke confidence in leadership for me. This election just makes me sad honestly. Can't wait for it all to be over.

This election. And wondering if President Cheetoh is going to do what he says he will. Either way, I want dual-citizenship and always have. I've had my eye on Europe since I was a child. Not as a race-free utopia (because that doesn't exist) but to allow myself to expand my relationships with individuals who have different experiences than me. I love to travel, and being a nomad is part of who I am.
I'm really focused on knocking out these 50 days of hustling. I'm on day 4, haven't wanted to pass out yet, and I'm still hitting my goals. I have 7ish more weeks and then I'll be free again for 2 weeks. I'm ready for NYE plans!
I guess balance is something I'd really like to conquer. Being your own boss means making sure you get shit done, by yourself, lol. Self-discipline for the win! Except sometimes with balance comes exhaustion.
People think working from home is soo kewl. Yeah, it is, but then you have those moments where your day is packed full and you're bone tired. I try and shove working out, meditating, meal prep, me time/errands/home upkeep, and hustling all into one day but sometimes you battle going to the gym first, or hustling first. A.D.D is a bitch!
I'm at the point where I'm too focused on hustling, I skip the damn gym/home workout. No bueno. But, I have the same 24 hours in a day as everyone else so i need to make it work.

It's really weird to me that a country would co-sign someone who is so ugly to other people, self absorbed and such a general catastrophe all around the board - even in business. I would have liked Bloomberg to run or similar.
I don't really mind trump in many ways if he wasn't running for president - can take him or leave him - but to ridicule people with disabilities and have these bizarre dated concepts of how things should be, is pretty concerning.

I am very disappointed by the election results. This just proves that the backlash against a progressive society is real. Too many people in this country (and around the world) are afraid of the changes that are happening globally. I have been telling people this for years. Well now we see that every action has a reaction. This election has set back the nation by at least a decade in terms of societal progress towards the expansion of civil rights and equal rights for ALL Americans.

You hit the nail on the head. The US right now is a mirror image of the UK just recently with the referendum over leaving the EU. It is easy to label those who are voting for such right wing policies and leaders as racists and bigots, but what I have come to understand increasingly is that it is not so clear cut. Years of austerity, cuts to welfare and care systems, and job insecurity have left the (mainly) working classes feeling disenfranchised and cut off from an increasingly remote political 'elite'. These votes have been the only opportunity in decades for those people to 'have a say'. I don't think it would matter who the candidates were, it didn't need to be Trump (or the loud mouth tories over here), so long as they shouted loudly and forcefully enough that they 'understood the will of the people', and would work to eradicate or ease such societal pressures. Clinton, with her political background, unfortunately represents 'one of them', the untouchable elite. The fact that Trump is a billionaire whose main concern is to increase and protect his own wealth has been overshadowed by his ability to simply say whatever comes to his mind, and his lack of previous involvement in politics. There is a long precedent of unconscious positive bias towards those who 'appear' to be strong leaders. In psychological studies this appearance rarely equates to actual performance, nevertheless people will always favour those who talk the loudest talk.
It's an increasingly scary world :(

We are witnessing the dramatic decline of Western Civilization as we know it. The promise of prosperity in the post World War II era is essentially over. The expectation of economic advancement is gone. People are struggling to adapt to this new globalized economy. People are being left behind. This has caused massive fear, anger, and resentment within the middle class and working class. The elites who hold power have done little to address this discontent and this outrage. Donald Trump gave voice to this sentiment. He gave a voice to the voiceless. This gave rise to the Trump phenomenon. The election of Donald Trump was a protest vote. It was a modern uprising.
The problem is that I really do not believe that ANY of the current government systems in the West can adequately address this new globalized World. We are 16 years into the 21st century. If you have studied economics and politics, you will understand that most of the governments of the Western World are utilizing political theories and economic principles that were created in the 18th, 19th, and 20th centuries. These theories and principles are outdated. They do not address this technological and global economy that represents the 21st century. A new paradigm will need to be created. We need a new model for economic growth. We need a new model for political stability. I do not know what that will be. But I do know that all of the past systems are failing us in the West.

You make good points but I don't think this works quite the same when the strong leader is a woman. Hillary Clinton scared a lot of people because of her strength and composure. I've talked to so many people who claimed to dislike her but when asked why couldn't come up with a reason. Or if they did give reasons it was based on personal assumptions and some crap that had be regurgitated over and over even when it wasn't true. Had HRC spoke louder she would have been penned as a loud mouth bitch. If she stayed calm and classy she was a coldhearted bitch. She literally could not win. What just occurred isn't all about race or sexism. But we now have proof of just how many people here in the US are willing to overlook hate speech and disregard bigoted behavior just because they think it's gonna make their lives easier. Knowing this and having the data doesn't feel good at all.

The people elected Hillary Rodham Clinton. She won the popular vote. The republic elected Donald Joseph Trump. He won the electoral college vote. People think that we have a democracy in the United States of America. We do not. We have a republic. It is a representative government. This system elected Trump. That is a problem. There should be a movement to abolish the electoral college system. TWICE in 16 years (Bush in 2000. Now Trump in 2016) it has given us a president that the majority of the American people did not want. The American Republic has failed the American People once again in a National Presidential Election. It is very disturbing that the American people essentially CANNOT elect their president.

I agree that sexism and racism exist. Hate is REAL. As an African American woman, I have experienced both in my 40 years of life.
I voted for Hillary Rodham Clinton. When I was in college and she was the First Lady, I had the opportunity to meet her a few times at events and conferences. I respect and admire her a great deal.
I feel that the problem with her election to the presidency was not necessarily Hillary being a WOMAN. In both the 2008 and 2016 elections Hillary has had the misfortune of being a symbol of the elite and being an embodiment of the establishment. 2008 was a change election. Obama represented the change (and hopeful optimism) that the country wanted. 2016 was a protest election. Trump represented the voice of that protest movement.
Marina Starr
11-10-2016, 11:01 AM
I totally agreed. I also strongly believe that having Obama campaigned for Hillary also hurt her because the protest movement hated Obama.

I voted for Trump. I am not a racist. An asshole is an asshole- doesn't matter what color they are. So I guess I'm an assholist?
I'm actually a registered Democrat. ( I'm going to change that to independent after this election)
I didn't want to vote for Hillary/Killary just because she is a woman. I feel like too many women felt this way in this election. What I didn't like about her was we were going to get more of the same. That connections to her that crossed her had unusual deaths. And the thing that sealed the deal was Obamacare. No thank you. Shove that useless shit right were the sun doesn't shine!!!!
Lies and emails actually had no bearing on my decision. They both lie. She looked better because she knows how to be a politician and she has had nothing but coaching for the past 30 years. He's a typical New Yorker. I can say that because it takes one to know one.
I think it's sad that the election was just one more way for them to divide and concur us- AND IT"S LIKE NOBODY SEES IT.
It's been so obvious by the way the news media slants what we see. Just as the electoral college decides who gets the nod. The past year or two I have really noticed 1 thing slapping me in the face on the news every few mornings or so. Cops shooting black men. or even cops getting shot. It's setting that us vs them mentality. Everyone looking at each other sideways.
Now for those of you that won't check out Hillary's America google it. Youtube it, or wikipedia that. Here is an excerpt from wikipedia:
The film briefly outlines the origins of the Democratic Party, then examines the blatant racism of one of its founders, President Andrew Jackson. It goes on to describe how President Andrew Jackson and the Democratic Party passed and signed into law legislation that brutally expelled Native Americans from their land and created the reservation system. This is followed by an examination of the historical record of the Democratic Party in the North and South in supporting and defending the institution of slavery, and ensuring the spread of slavery into the western territories. It examines the founding of the Republican Party as a reaction to the support of slavery by the Democratic Party and their endorsement and defense of fugitive slave laws.
The film then examines the historical record of the Democratic Party, including their opposition to the 13th, 14th, and 15th Amendments to the United States Constitution, their close ties to the Ku Klux Klan in both the 19th and 20th century, including the support of Democratic President Woodrow Wilson for the KKK and racial segregation, their opposition to anti-lynching legislation, their manipulation of New Deal legislation in the 1930s to ensure African Americans would not benefit, and their opposition to the civil rights legislation of the 1960s which was passed with significantly greater support from the Republican Party than from the Democratic Party.
Other than that, I'm not here to argue. But please note there are some of us that did vote Trump and we don't agree with everything about him. But it's really unfair to make assumptions of us.
The electoral college I was fully expecting to put Hillary in. And yes that needs to go. That is not the voice of the people. It should be strictly votes.

The Democratic Party has been practicing "center-left" and "moderate-left" politics for the last 50 years. Maybe what the Democratic Party needs is to bring forth candidates that are socialists and leftists. True liberals. Not just moderate liberals. The Democratic Party has been fearful and has avoided playing this political game in the United States. The fear (which came about in the 1950s during the era of McCarthyism) was always that they would be branded "Communist". With the rise of the Bernie Sanders movement, I feel that the time might be ripe in America for this leftist branch of the Democratic Party to run for office and start winning elections in the House and in the Senate. When the next presidential election cycle comes, the Democrats (if they want to win) will need to put forth a candidate that captures the sentiment of the country. I think America might finally be ready for a socialist president.

Political parties CHANGE. The Republican Party that exists today bears very little resemblance to the Republican Party that was founded in the 1850s. The desegregation of the south after the passage of the Civil Rights Act led many Southern Democrats to become Republicans.

I have no interest in politics either at home or abroad. I did not vote during the election last year or the stupid Brexit thing this year and I only just found out who is President from a friend as I tend to avoid the news both on the TV and online as much as possible. The world has gone insane is about all I've got to say on that.
However what is on my mind right now is could someone PM what the limit is on blocks to get the full amount on SM? I don't want to give the secret away on the forum but if someone could drop me the answer privately I would be eternally grateful. I usually only do blocks with regs and they stay almost their full time which is why I had no idea there WAS a limit until now. I don't want to get caught out.
