My daughter lost her baby and almost lost her life on thursday she started hemmoraging had to have emergency surgery and its been a long few days for us, so i am sad she lost the baby but grateful for the drs who saved her life. Ive been trying to cope and deal with everything just so overwhelming. Im taking off work until the end of week atleast just cant deal with the men right now.
Sincere condolences to you and your family Chelly. You are one of the most sweetest, helpful and all round loving people on this site who never has a bad word for anybody and I can only agree with Marina that life is testing you and your daughter right now but you are strong enough to pull through. I remember your excitement too and to be given such a precious gift to have it ripped away is heartless and cruel but you will recover. So glad to hear your daughter is going to be okay and it's not a double tragedy xx

Thank you for saying that, it means alot to me hearing this. When they took her into surgery i remember kissing her forehead and praying she will come out ok she was so pale and fraile going in , was horrible hearing and seeing her in such pain broke my heart being a mom and i couldnt do anything to take it away and trying not to cry or show my fear being strong for her. shes had some complications since then had to rush her back next day after she got home from anemia but they gave her some fluids and some potassium and shes doing better now little at a time with her health. But even though she lost the baby and as much as it hurts she is still here and that is the most important thing. I dont know what i would have done if i lost her too. Was so scary. Thank you though for your support, you ladies here are amazing. Didnt want to really say anything but i told you all about her being pregnant and was excited and shared that so i had to mention it after i went through this. Hugs to you all. Things will get better cause ill make them that way for her and us all.somehow.

Thank you so much appreciate your kind words. Yea i am extremely worn out, more emotionally now though its amazing how you can keep going through something so bad, didnt sleep with her in er and through surgery for over 36 hrs over the whole time from when we got there till they released her to me. They told me that if i didnt bring her in when i did she would not have made it through the night, so grateful they caught what was going on in time. Happened so quick just out of blue, didnt have time to think or react besides just go straight in asap. I guess adrenaline and with help from above made me strong and remained as calm as i could for her. Shes doing better today, thank you for your support and concern, you all are amazing.

I just spent two hours putting together a mobile computer desk from Walmart so now I'm exhausted but proud of myself for completion.
Time to eat some home made Tuna sub on whole wheat bread to make up for the calories I've burnt.

Sorry to hear your bike got stolen. Hope you get it back if its at the office.
I finally got a call back yesterday that Maintenance had it (Since I'm all the way on the 3rd floor, I'd been leaving it tucked away somewhere on the bottom floor, which I'm not supposed to do). So I got it back now. :)

This was supposed to be a test run for an event I'm gonna work tomorrow. The plan is to make little miniature mouse cups for sale but I may have to add an ice cream layer, so they hold their temperature during storage.

There is nothing wrong with being a bit uppity in this industry. Usually, uppityness goes hand and hand with becoming very wealthy. You can still say please and thank you but you never stop letting your customers know whose in control.:D

I think Maintenance was in my apartment today when I wasn't home, which pisses me off since I didn't say they could do that. There was ONE time recently when I said they could do that, and that was when I was concerned about sparks coming from the outlets, and wanted them to look into that asap. But I have reason to believe that they were in my apartment today as well, because something on my outside balcony had been moved (My bike which I lazily keep laying on its side was nicely propped up against the balcony, which my lazy ass def. didn't do). When I asked my son about it, he was like "Huh? I haven't even been out on the balcony today."
I called and left a message with Maintenance, asking if one of them had been in my apartment today. If they were, I'm guessing this has something to do with my multiple complaints about the birds outside squirming their way into the apartment ceilings (They're running around scratching in the walls in the morning, and it sounds awful), and I guess they came into my apartment to go out on the balcony to get a look from the outside?
It's also concerning to me because one day my son had found a purple heart cut-out (made out of construction paper) on his bedroom floor. I remember he had said "What's this doing in my room? Mommy, did you put this here?" That plus the bike thing today is creeping me the fuck out.

Also, earlier today some douche called my cell claiming to be from the IRS. He claimed I owe the IRS $3,200+, and that I could pay $500 right now to resolve the case...otherwise an officer would be at my home in 45 minutes to put me in handcuffs. LOL!!! What a fucking joke. I Googled the phone number (It was a 516 area code, which is Long Island, New York), and there's this complaint board where all these other people speak about the same thing happening to them with the same scammer.
Every since I applied for a bunch of online loans recently, I've been getting a bunch of annoying-ass calls and texts. SMH.

Everyone's all excited about adult verification for porn or what sites we go to on the net...meanwhile a mans suicide note is being plastered all over the media. I don't wanna see that crap. That is so private. I had started reading the first three lines before I realized what it was because yahoo put it front and center. I have one yahoo account that I use a lot. Gonna switch that shit out tonight, their content is crap anyways. Okay Im done venting. :)

Yes it is heavy but it can take a fall. Its fallen off my desk like twice now. Thankfully it was on carpet. One issue I ran into right away is I stepped on the cord and damaged it. But I was able to order a replacement from Amazon for $6.

You stepped on the USB part? Is Yeti a microphone only or speaker as well? I played youtube videos but I can't hear sound?

I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE The Golden Girls! Also, I was watching a YouTube clip the other day of that old All in the Family episode where Rue McClanahan (Blanche) guest starred as part of a swingers couple, and Archie and Edith were disgusted when they realized the couple were at their house to "swing." Yes! I turned my husband on to some old shows. He's not from here and isn't familiar with some of them. So it's like I get to re-live tv shows all over again. Currently we're rotating Golden Girls, The Wire, Curb Your Enthusiasm and Martin.
