So this might be totally obvious, but I can't work out where the store gets its name from. Is it my user name? Is it possible to have a store name with spaces and capital letters (eg Supreme Queen Sloth) instead of what my username is (eg sloth2000)?
ETA: It can have spaces, and the solution is to ask the nice person in live chat to change it for you. A clip site with good customer service! What a notion!

Yep, I remember them saying you could have more than one store. You might message their support just to make sure, but I do think it's possible
Thank you :). I might try that then and just not connect it to my social media

I cant seem to get the FTP to work, it looks like it's rejecting the pass even when I copy and paste it from the FTP details in my account, anyone know why?

I have a big problem with preview launcher, i contacted support but maybe i will find the answer here a little faster. When i want to use the launcher, and pick the 5 second scenes, always one of the scenes slides freaks out. The slides start to go in different directions, and it creates not a 5 second scene but for example a 20 sec scene :/ Which is too long, but even if i wanted that, when i save the prewiev, it saves and i return to my add clip site, and it looks like i never used a launcher. I am adding a screenshot with my problem.

commonly the Iwantclips pushers that I encounter on twitter usually have just the clip site/ social platforms/ amazon wish list. However, I do notice that 1/5 or so girls will have a website, very rarely do I see it being utilized for anything. I'd probably make the worst camgirl in the world, but as to the dynamic of monetizing traffic and shoving ads in peoples faces, i'm really getting the hang of it lol!
That being said, I'm not sure if Iwantclips has finally managed to make you ladies a widget or iframe to embed, but if not and you need something for your main site to advertise your clipstore, or utilize to capture emails in between your point of sale, letme know. Here's a demo of a Iwantclips widget with mouseover animated hover effects (for the 30 percent of your inbound traffic that isn't an Iphone 7-8 rofl!)
Widgets at the bottom of the page, this is a staging sub domain.
Roxana Rae Iwantclipstore widget demo (https://test.femdomfacesitting.pw)
If you want the code send me a DM, i'll just give it to you free. If you want me to set it up for you and optimize your clip descriptions with the appropriate header/300+ word description/ keyword density/30% transitional sentencing, all that jazz, I'm cheap letme know what's good :p

Can you open a second store on here? I recently opened a second one on Clips4Sale for gross stuff that I don't want regular customers to see if possible and it's doing well so I was wondering if a similar option was available on iWC
Yep, I remember them saying you could have more than one store. You might message their support just to make sure, but I do think it's possible
If you open a studio account there's an option for sub-stores. You can add multiple stores via sub-stores, you just have to create different usernames for each store.

Just opened a store and started reading through this thread so forgive me if my Qs have already been answered...
What is the difference between a Profile Photo and a Featured Photo?
What's the best format for clips? Is there a minimum length?
Thanks!

Your profile photo is what you'll see on your profile and the featured photo is if you're randomly chosen to be on the homepage at the top.

Question from a British model, we’ve a bill coming into effect soon (it was meant to be April but got delayed) called the digital exonomy bill, are your teams aware of it and the changes needed to comply? Idk how much exposure it’s had outside of the uk

Hello Everyone!
Amidst Chaos with Payment Processors, Leading Lifestyle Brand Offers Financial Assurance to Content Creators
In direct response to the announcement from Choice Bank (First Choice Pay) wherein deposited funds have been frozen, rendering monies unavailable for withdrawal, iWantEmpire is coming forward to personally guarantee funds due to its artists.
"We understand cash flow is imperative and everyone depends on their earnings," said Jay Phillips, president and co-founder of iWantEmpire. "Whether an artist is owed $25 or $25,000, we are incredibly grateful to be able to reach into our pockets and guarantee the funds that are due to our artists. We know the struggles and stresses associated with an independent business model, and while many sites are disassociating from the situation, we are taking this opportunity to reassure our international store owners they made the right choice when they joined iWantEmpire. We are guaranteeing all money owed by First Choice Pay. iWantEmpire celebrates each and every person who has entrusted us with their content and their livelihood, and while this is an incredibly difficult situation, we are honored and humbled to offer assistance when it is needed most. iWantEmpire is an artist-first platform from concept to creation, and we are proud to stand by this motto. All synergistic entrepreneurs around the world are welcomed here."

Hello everybody, I just signed up and uploaded some clips but they seem to have a different status now... some have the status "published" and some have the status "published" but with a little lock next to it and if I click on the word published there is a link that comes up. Is it published or not?
And is there the possibility of uploading thumbnails?

I'm looking to branch out from my usual suspects — what's the traffic like on iWantClips? Is it similar to MV in which you have to generate your own from somewhere else, or does success elsewhere not need to be a factor?

IWC is great for Femdom, findom, humiliation, taboo (sometimes, but I have no experience in it). It has it's own traffic, I don't try to drive any there, but I get quite a bit. It's mostly going to be femdom that sells there.

Artists,
We apologize for the inconvenience regarding payouts.
The payout processing company made a small upgrade to their payout system which has caused previously scheduled payouts to be delayed. We're researching the quickest solution possible to get payouts back on schedule (https://twitter.com/iWantClips/status/998644285166809090)
They just tweeted this.

Girls I am using request pay on iwantclips, how much time it takes you usually from clicking "request pay" till you see precessed sign? I clicked it 25th, the support said that it will be processed at 28th but still I see a line under Process date tab. I know that payout hits my bank 2-6 days after processing, but that time frame doesn't help much when I feel I wait forever for processing, and I never know when it will be done :/

Yes agreed. My domination/humiliation type clips usually always sell well. I also do taboo which sells well for me.

This seems to be the only other amateur fetish clipsite that is comparable to C4S in terms of the broad range of categories available (if there are other sites that cater to obscure fetishes, please let me know!) I do a lot of random/obscure fetishes on C4S that sell decently, and I was curious about using IWC to dump my existing content on, to see if I can make any passive income there with minimal additional effort.
The thing is, all of my clips have an "end title/credits page" that show my twitter handle, cammodels referral link, and a link back to my C4S store. I don't want to go back and edit them out as that would be way too much effort. So would it be okay if I uploaded clips to IWC even if my C4S link (and other cam info) are in the credits ?
Also, could someone please PM me what the company name is that shows up on paychecks and tax paperwork? (Mainly just want to know if it's generic/non-suggestive to adult work.)

I dumped all my content on IWC and it all had links to my C4S store. I wasn't about to go back and re-edit over 500 clips to remove them and put the IWC web address. I've been on IWC for over a year and they never had a problem with this.

Now that the only viable option for small payments for United Kingdom is emailed check - how does this work? Do they literally email a check to you and you print it outand take to bank? Or what?
EDIT: I found it further back...
Emailed Checks
We will no longer be physically mailing out international checks.
All models will be able to receive checks via email and will be delivered instantly to their inbox.
Once a model receives a check via email, the model will need to do the following:
Print the check, sign the back and deposit it at the preferred banking institution.
Instructions will be attached to the check for further clarification.
It has been recommended to use the mobile deposit feature of one's bank (if available to deposit emailed checks).

Right. And they gave that weird explanation in July about how there was a payment processer update and that things would be back to normal next pay period which I believed but it never got better, and everyone I asked about it after that I’d get no response or a weird excuse. It’s the lack of transparency that makes me nervous and makes me wonder if there even was an update in July causing delays. I’m thinking of switching sites because of this even though I really wish I could just stay with IWC. But I have bills! Do the top models deal with this too? Is it random? Can they choose who to pay on time? So many questions! Thankfully they have provided this thread for us to seek answers. I’m looking forward to them!
If you check the news section there is a post about how they are bumping down the percentages performers get.... but what is most concerning to me is where it states "payouts for all artist will be timely by November 2018" uhhhhh.... does that we aren't getting are paychecks until November? I've already e-mailed but if anyone has info about that I'd like to know.

Dear ARTIST,
We are writing today to inform you of some logistical changes which will be taking place across the iWantEmpire network, and to request your support in advance.
The traditional clip segment has become extremely competitive in recent years with the addition of ManyVids and Pornhub’s Modelhub, both heavily funded by major corporations. In order to stay competitive, iWantEmpire has to shift our clip/content revenue share from 70% to 60%. The change will go into effect on October 1st, 2018.
As the first and only platform that is truly by artists, for artists, we are happy to announce some benefits with this change:
Payouts will be timely for all artists by November 2018.
Chargeback Protection will be included for free to all artists.
Tips & Tributes will be raised from 75% to 80%.
An optional button to automatically increase the price of all content to offset the change in revenue share will be provided.
Pay To View, iWantPhone, iWantFanClub, and Customs will remain at their current percentages.
In order to stay competitive, continue to attract the best paying customers in the world, and drive more traffic to your stores, the new margins will be invested back into the company through marketing, advertising and promotion. We will be growing our artist support team and maintaining 24 hour service / 365 days a year, including live chat.
Thank you in advance for your support of this announcement. If you have any questions or concerns, please reach out directly to
[email protected]
We are looking forward to an amazing year of growth and abundance.
Sincerely,
J

So here's my problem(s).
Being paid on time is not a perk. It should just happen because if you're not paying your models then why are we there?
Chargeback protection isn't "free" as many are saying it is because you LOST 10%, even if you were paying the 5% for CB protection in the beginning you STILL LOST 5%. So no, it's not free. You're paying for it!
Tributes being raised to 80% very likely does not affect anyone other than the top models. Most models earn the bulk of their sales from clips, not tributes. That being said KB pays 90% of tributes when you opt into it. Just ask them for it and you get it!
Increasing your prices (by a button they say you can click) earns IWC more money and costs your customers more. MANY models cannot afford to raise their prices. The industry standard is around $1/min (+ .99 according to people on C4S, which I think it what it defaults to there?). If I have a 10 minute video and I am charging $10.99, you want me to charge my customers what? $1.85 more to offset the difference? Now my 10 minute video is roughly $12.84.
For a $10.99 video I was getting $7.69, now with the 10% less I get $6.59. That's really going to add up. That's not fair for the model or the customer and my sales will plummet if I try to raise my prices.
They keep saying WE HAVE THE HIGHEST PAYOUTS! ...but you can't seem to pay on time. SO many people haven't been paid, some for months. How can you brag about this if you aren't paying people?
I also think with those $50,000 days come hefty chargebacks. One girl had a huge day like that then admitted that like 30k was charged back due to fraud?
A lot of the people standing up for them are the top models, some of which were already getting paid a higher percentage than the rest of us. Even if they are bumping them down with us, they still got more money for longer than we did. A lot of these girls even have videos that they sell for $100 instead of the $10 - $20 for the per the minute rate. Like I said, most of us cannot afford to pass this cost onto the customer because many customers won't buy videos there anymore.
I have no incentive to send my customers to IWC. KB has a higher tribute amount, MV pays out ON TIME every two weeks, and C4S has the same percentage.

I'm really disapointed with this decision and I think IWC might regret it in the long term.
My comments on this...
- They mention ManyVids and Pornhub but these websites are VERY different compared to IWC, which has mostly femdom and fetish content.
- "The change will go into effect on October 1st, 2018... WHAT? Last minute warning
- "the first and only platform that is truly by artists, for artists"... well... They decide to drop our revenue by 10% with a week notice without warning. They never consulted the models, those who made IWC a success. To me there is no difference between IWC and the competition.
- "we are happy to announce some benefits with this change" Benefits that will benefit mostly top earners. I am not one of them.
- "Payouts will be timely for all artists by November 2018." Wow, we should be happy about this? It's been months since models are complaining about delays!
- "Chargeback Protection will be included for free to all artists." I already opted in for chargeback protection so that means I will be losing 5% more of my earnings. A nice compromise would have been to drop commission rate to 65% for everyone, including chargeback protection. Cause now IWC is pretty much the same as competition, so why should models advertise only their IWC store? I can already predict that a lot of models that used to post only IWC links on their social media will start advertising other clip stores and IWC will lose some business. Oh, and I forgot to mention Clips4sale now have regular promotion events where you can share a promotionnal code and earn 75% instead of 60%, so why should I continue advertising my iwc store?
- "Tips & Tributes will be raised from 75% to 80%." This will benefit top earners mostly. And again, c4s already did this, so what makes them different then competition? And... Kinkbomb is offering 90% on tributes!
- "An optional button to automatically increase the price of all content to offset the change in revenue share will be provided." This option is great for top earners who have an audience that don't mind paying more, but for the rest of us, increading prices means we will lose customers.
- "Pay To View, iWantPhone, iWantFanClub, and Customs will remain at their current percentages." Ohhh... ok, thank you I guess?? I am only using iwantCustomclips.
- I would love to know what exactly they are doing to "drive more traffic to (my) store". Only thing I am seeing is pictures of big parties attended by top earners of the site. I don't see how this is going to drive more traffic to my store.

And what they should do is provide us some statistics. My sales on IWC were always terribly low compared to c4s, but it was always nice to have some extra cash since I upload to c4s, that was no problem for me to upload also on IWC. But I feel it's harder and harder for me to even reach payout there... And without some stats I have no clue if nobody is looking thru my store or I have some visitors but my content maybe needs some changes

I think you might be surprised if you raise your rates (unless you’ve tried so already, in which case I understand). I used to price my clips 1/minute but then raised my rate to 1/minute plus 5.99. So a 10 minute clip would be 15.99, and that’s when I really started selling clips! Raising my rates raised my sales by A LOT. And this is before I even had good quality videos. I think if you’re charging 1/min you could probably raise your rates just fine. As for me my prices are already up there so I’m hesitant to raise them even more. I have a few more expensive clips prices at $75-$200 and they’ve sold on occasion. I’m not established either, I only have 83 clips in my store. You never know. Especially on IWC the act of paying for expensive clips is part of the erotic experience. That being said, do what you feel is best! Just don’t knock it till’ you try it.
I don't think that raising my prices would help me :( Since I am not making findom/femdom clips, and that's what I think sells there the most...I am more a foot fetish/hand fetish/lip fetish and other just basic fetishes person, which sells great for me on c4s, but not on iwc...that's why seeing some stats would be helpful, to figure it all out.

And it would be a good way to tell if this marketing they will supposedly be doing with the extra 10% is at least bringing traffic. But truthfully, we'll only know if we see an increase in sales, and if we don't, it's our fault, right?

I charge +2$ per minute, but that's the most that I seem to be able to get away with. I've been doing this for almost 8 years and have filmed over 3,000 videos. I have over 800 femdom themed videos with various themes, but don't have many findom videos. I have a bunch of videos priced between $75 - $500, many of which have never sold once. I can see why they wouldn't as I don't do the whole findom act and don't attract finsubs.
One of the models defending IWC is saying, "Just work harder!". I already film roughly 60 videos a month and upload 30 per month. I have tried offering phone sessions, cam shows, skype sessions, kik, whatsapp, even niteflirt chat. I was on 7 websites which meant I had to upload 30 videos to 7 different websites a month!
The model that said that did not upload any videos in September.
In August she uploaded 15 videos, with an average cost of $25.59 per video - none of which were priced below $15.99.
In July she uploaded 9 videos, but only at the start of the month, but she also prices the videos at almost double the standard rate.
She's also top 20 for the month and brags about not having to work. I think it's great she can get away with not having to film or offer cam sessions or even really talk to her customers. Make your money! But to tell me that I should work harder? When I film five videos it takes me about 10 hours total of editing, converting/watermarking, uploading, adding to sites - including making gifs and adding keywords/descriptions/categories/etc. That's 10 hours NOT including set up, film time, exporting, etc.
I also have to pay for all of my own outfits, cameras, lighting because I don't have anyone jumping around to pay for my stuff. I spent $200 on Halloween costumes this year to try to make more and better content in hopes that I can make more money.
I make enough money to live comfortably with an SO's income included. We don't go out, barely eat out, don't travel anywhere, but we can afford to have a house and cars. I'd LOVE to make more money but it's not a matter of JUST working harder. I've been doing this for twice as long as she has and I make in a month (on IWC) what she makes in two days. Besides me getting plastic surgery I am doing as much as I can and working as hard as my customers will allow me.

I am not saying she didn't put in the work to get to where she is, I am sure she had to work hard to accomplish this, but her saying that is just an insult to everyone that does work super hard and offers everything they can just to make a living. It's like telling people to just stop being poor.

I can relate - I dont make anyway near as much as a lot of people do and have to cam and work a vanilla job to supplement my income, I tried doubling my content output but ended up burnt out from working 3 jobs and uploading that amount of content
we're all different with different skill sets and schedules ultimately
not really sure my point in this post but just wanted to let you know I totally get what you're saying

It's a total Shitshow to be quite honest. You have tons ladies promoting and bring darn near all their traffic to the site.
Then you have contract Top models who are just like Work Harder, or your stupid if you dont get why they decreased it..... You have the right to feel fine with the change, happy, neutral etc but being dismissive and rude is not the way to go. There are only a handful of models with these tones and pretty sure they are contract models.
I was glad to see a few top models/ high earners Speak out about this. The tone IWC put out with this notice the short notice the late payments and some of their top models are basically attacking people for voicing their concerns. They are totally rubbing me the wrong way.
I promote them a lot, direct many indy guys their, basically have to beg to be featured. I upload to them first before other platforms that stops now.
NF 70% on goodies and always pay on time - C4S 60% always pays on time they both have great traffic because i barely promote.
Manyvids is more vanilla base claim they are going to feature /highlight more femdom / fetish content.
Cliptress I just heard of yesterday 70% content 80% tributes A good amount of ladies are going to give it a go.
I'm hoping with time IWC does better as a whole, I like their platform I like their contests but this doesnt sit well.
From a business stand point, it may have been in their best interest to make this change but they didnt convey its a we should be thankful we get on time payments and charge backs will be covered. Mind you on time payments dont start until Nov.
So watch they are behind in Oct ....

There is absolutely a reason why they won't show us traffic stats.

I don't think they realize how much it damages their appearance even more to have their top models act like that. And to top it all off they are just chugging along ignoring everything after dropping this news on everyone.
I wonder if this HAD to happen RIGHT NOW because they were hemorrhaging funds or if they thought it would be easier for people to handle? Either way it sucked for a majority of the people. They have these new images on twitter saying things like "On average models on IWC earn 300% more than other sites". I earn about 50% more on IWC than C4S because I don't promote c4s, but promote IWC. They also chose 300% rather than 3 times because it looks better and like its more *eye roll*. Well, doesn't matter how much I earn if I cannot fucking get paid on time. So many people are still waiting on their money.
Again, being paid on time should not be a perk. I want to see what they are considering marketing and promotion because if it's more conventions and after parties and photoshoots for their top models then it isn't going to make my sales go up to offset the loss in %. I UNDERSTAND WHY THEY have promotions, contests, go to conventions, etc. I get that it's a way to advertise, but they already do that. They already had a billboard. Have an ongoing a satellite radio broadcast. What else?

I think the problem with iwc is, they use big words, we are the best...we have the best site features...we are first...and so on...like they want us to believe that the site is so big in the industry etc when in reality the traffic is sh*t, and only a couple models earn big money there, and that's why we don't see any stats about traffic. And all of that dissapoint me, becaue I really like that site in terms of user friendly platform- I like the layout, I like customs option, I like the preview generator...but my love for he site will not bring me more money...and as I see hard work also :D

I think they're in financial trouble. Paying everyone late for months and then suddenly reducing payout percentage? There's a money problem. I'm not counting on them being around much longer.

I'm lucky to sell a clip a month here if that. I bet I've made under $50 here all year and I've had a technical issue with clips freezing partway through uploading for months and support is polite but cannot fix the problem.
