Tomorrow a bunch of people in the Industry are gonna try to get #NOprop60 trending on twitter on Friday. So put #NOprop60 in every tweet you make. If you don't really tweet much like me, try to make a little effort. Let's get the word out there more.

I noticed some videos on youtube about saying No on Prop 60, trying to educate people on what its really about... Have a look at the comment section. Some scary fuckin shit. People are really messed up when it comes to opinions of porn. There were even people saying they werent going to vote this year but now they will and will be sure to vote YES on this proposition. Then you have the obligatory bible thumpers on there, and the freaks who say that porn performers should be harassed and stalked and even killed. What the hell is wrong with people?

That's why I have to just completely skip the YouTube comments section. I just don't understand it, in my experience, YouTube has been the absolute bottom of the garbage can opinions and comments about ANYTHING. x.x So far, I've been getting great feedback on Twitter, which is heartening in the midst of all of this.

I may be wrong about this, but if you live in California, it should probably be on the ballot when you vote in November. Usually the ballot has the presidential candidates, any state reps that apply to your voting district, any local government candidates you are supposed to vote on, and then a handful of proposed laws that you can vote for or against. Unfortunately, most people have no idea what to do with that section because they've never heard of the proposals before, and they only list a basic summary of what it's about -not the actual text of the proposal- and based on the times I've voted, the summaries don't always appear to be unbiased.

If you don't live in CA, you get no say in this.

I noticed you even had it in your topic on SM the other night Audri when I was perving your perfect ass, I dragged my eyes from it to see you had #NoProp60 at the start of your topic. This is a great idea and we should all do it!

This affects all of us and our personal info being available to any freak online is a lot more important than whether I do or don't want to use a bit of rubber to fuck my boyfriend!! It puts us all in danger, how many requests for our locations do we get a night? Imagine them knowing our exact address and real names?! Terrifying.

A little off-topic yet somehow seemingly on-topic: How does this affect so-called "revenge-porn" or even leaked nudes or deep webb leaks, whether or not the participants are of age? Is it strictly limited to "professional" business sites, whatever that even entails? I don't understand how the adult industry is responsible for sexual health education because of very specific scenes they shoot for entertainment and others aren't held to the same standards (Taken, for example, as a guideline for human trafficking, even though some police officers have told victims to watch that film as though it's an educational film?) I don't have much faith in the general public to vote for what's right vs. what's they're led to believe or even to educated themselves to vote either which way because they're fucking lazy or don't have the time to investigate on their own...

I'll consider putting it as my room topic the upcoming weeks, but I can't vote anyway, so it's going to be on my mind. Especially when it comes to previously shot scenes (even though the wording phrases something about four years, I can't take what they're saying for real, you know)

^ From the way I understand it, this proposition only affects those who stand to profit from their content. So, if someone's video got leaked, they couldn't be sued because they weren't making any money from it.

Bump! I know it's last minute, but tomorrow is the day, and maybe one last push is in order?

Here's a last-minute article against Prop 60 in the HuffPo, so apparently the fight is still going. http://www.huffingtonpost.com/entry/i-always-use-condoms-in-my-films-but-i-still-oppose_us_5820d336e4b044f827a79147

I know so many people voting yes on this. They don't seem to care about anything I tried to tell them. All they care about is that sex workers are bad and good if this drives the business out of Cali
