That's terrible :(
I don't make much of anything on here, so if they don't pay me I wouldn't even notice.
What was their excuse???

I make most of my rent money through this app sooo, yeah! but the payment did come in sometime from last night to this morning & they hadn't even responded to me yet, so I just emailed them to let them know I got it. This was the first issue I've had, but I'm thinking maybe it was delayed because of the holiday or something? Not sure, but I got it, so :)
Also, can I ask other ladies here -- I star every guy I see, of course, but do you ever go back and re-star them? I feel like I've had a dip in money there the past month for sure and I hate paying for my placement cuz it gets expensive fast :(

I'm curious about how many of you pretend it's a dating site or otherwise indulge in men's delusional ideas instead of saying what the situation really is. When I first started out I was super honest (other than my real name and location obviously) and was basically like "hey this is like a virtual strip club and you can cam with me or send me gifts for pics blah blah blah". This worked a few times but in the vast majority of cases, being honest-even very sweetly and with a super friendly tone- gets me blocked or they delete their account. I've really appreciated reading this thread thanks for all the advice. My question for you all is this: how soon into the "relationship" or conversation do you get down to business and talk money? When they ask for pictures or nudes how do you go about telling them those are gonna cost?

i think everyone does that differently. it depends on the conversation, what the guy is like, his age as older guys aren't as into paying for photos, and various factors. I don't think there is one script that works.
Most girls i assume just say they'd appreciate a rose or balloons or whatever for the photo, and others spell out what costs what for each body part or a full nude.
The problem with giving advice on this thread is that although I love helping people I've noticed that it makes me get less business as other girls read all of this and finally learn how to hustle these guys and that
means less income for those of us who are already doing it. I'm not trying to sound bitchy as I've posted a lot but even the ketchup company won't give out their recipe in DETAIL!!!
You really have to read the guy you're talking with yourself as guys even act differently with different women depending on both personalities and the approach the woman uses.

I felt that way for a long time too, and I do still think there is truth in that way of thinking. People asking how much I charge (well, not me in particular but posed as a question to everyone), and I just ignored it. I didn't want anyone stepping in on my game. But you know what, they are there anyway. Phrendly isn't just 20 pages of women anymore (most of whom I would guess were inactive back in the early days), and if they aren't coming to just me, they are going to other women who might be giving things away for free. I've had men show me proof of other girls who would just blindly send them good nudes for nothing more than chat bubbles.
fuck that.
Yes, if a guy is spending $100 on another girl, that is $100 less that he has to spend on me, right now. If a guy is getting endless FREE nudes from that other girl though, I just don't think I have a strong enough pull (nor the saleswoman ability) for him to spend money on my photos. I may be wrong but I truly believe that if we all would demand higher level gifts for our content, then we ALL would make more.
Think about it. Let's say you are car shopping, and you really want a Mercedes, but it's over 100K. It's a very nice car. It is certainly worth the asking price, and you have the money but... someone else is offering you an Acura (nice, sure, but not as nice) fo' free. There are people out there who would go for the Mercedes anyway, but... Even I would go for the Acura. Free is free man. If that Acura was 80K then, eh, I'm getting the Mercedes*.
*my pussy is the Mercedes in this example just in case it wasn't clear because it's such a smooth ride.
thank you thank you I'll be here all week
I'm sure my earnings have been cut into now that there are 1) More girls, and 2) More girls asking for gifts, but again, I really do think it is benefitting all of us. :-*

I'm really shocked and saddened by these aggressive responses. I thought there was a certain sisterhood that existed with sex workers. I am glad to know where you all stand with regard to giving out advice. You should probably delete your old comments on here if it's really that deep. Good luck to you all.

Agressive? Okay I will never give out advice again unless it's to someone I know on here . That's all I have to say. I did give you advice , the same thing that other girls already posted on here if you searched the threads. If you read the thread i do nothing but give out advice to others. And NO I'm not deleting my other posts, why would I? What i was stating was that first of all those questions have already been asked and answered in other posts so you wanted details on when you ask, how you ask, what you say exactly none of which would help you because your guy might be a different age, your conversation may be going faster or slower, it may be a guy not wanting sexting or photos, you don't know all of this til you've talked to them. So I can't give you a script of what I say (and I wouldn't anyway because I don't want to be copied word for word) I also told you what "most girls do from other posts on here on the same subject". You have to learn to read the guy, they are all different. If that's aggressive to you then i don't know..........maybe I'd better seek counselling for it!!
And yes i'm not against giving out advice, obviously that's all I've done on here, but I won't say what I say or do in detail because I am me and that's the only thing that makes me unique compared to other girls so why would I want that copied? Part of this business is LEARNING AND GETTING YOUR OWN PERSONA and someone telling you exactly what to say and do is not going to help you develop your own way of doing things. Phrendly may as well just hand out a sheet of paper telling all of us what to say and when to say it then :)
And sisterhood? I've asked questions in the past about what to charge for certain things and noone even wanted to answer that. It didn't upset me. I understood they didn't want to give away their secrets since it's working for them. There is going to be a certain amount of competition when there are 1300 pages of people on here. That is a fact on any site, not just here. Obviously people won't even post who they are on Phrendly or what they charge a minute for videochat sessions, etc. so the sisterhood doesn't apply here!! :)

Has anyone else realized they're paying their full bid price or at least VERY close to it lately for q-clicks? I feel like I'm basically running in place, not getting anywhere lately. Especially with these guys that take forever to respond to each message. I'm paying for q-clicks just as fast as I'm making money.

I also have recently went from making 500-1000 a month to having $6 overnight. Wtf?! I'm confused. Are guys just busy? Is it cuz of football season? WTF. I'm slightly pissed. I hate how unpredictable sex work is. Its my main complaint. I've been doing everything I can the last few days, spending hours clicking every guy I can, changing my profile picture, and I asked a guy for help with my car (that was LEGITIMATELY broken, no less!) he's been telling me he loves me for months and his response? Oh I cant help hun, sorry. Yeah, k. I cut him off and havent talked to him since but he was the last and only regular, but god, some of these guys want SO much for so little. When I'm spending more time on my phone sexting romance novels for 35 cents than I am spending time with my family, that's an effing problem, and then when I ask for more, it's such a huge inconvenience. BYE dude. I can't even entertain some of the serious entitlement these guys have and it does seem they've caught on - They only text back when I'm offering something for free. Its sickening.

Ya I'm with you here *eye roll* I feel like within a few months this site has tanked big time. I'll have my good weeks here & there but it's def not consistent anymore. It has been my main site lately since i keep my living expenses down. My bids have been getting eaten up with clicks & not really profiting much from it in the last week which makes me not even wanna bid anymore.
Alot of these guys are asking me if I am doing this for a living & of course I say no but when i'm asking for gifts for pics they catch on & don't respond anymore. I've had a few guys say they wanna video then not & end up saying they've spent too much money on here 7 aren't coming back. Def a shittfy ebb & flow on here recently. Come back big spenders!!! :)

Or a man seeking TS. I had a female friend who looks like a male (she has all female body parts) and she made a LOT of $ camming from gay guys. They said they get sick of other gay guys so this is what they
look at when they want something "new and different" LOL To them a woman's body is different even though she appears to be male with her clothes on.

This. I posted earlier in the Chatfunn thread about the dude who texted me at 4:15 AM today (while I’m on my last hour of sleep) asking for a pussy pic in his beginning text to me. I don’t care that CF gives you a rate to set for picture texts. The rate choices for it go up to 12 tokens (Model gets 10 cents per token, so that’s $1.20). Sorry, I’m not getting up out of bed to take a custom photo for a lousy $1.20. Guys on there can tip, so tip for that pussy pic you want so much. Guys on Phrendly have sent virtual gifts for a pic.

Let me ask this ...has anyone actually noticed a measurable, consistent increase in earnings via the bidding system? Because I haven't heard one positive thing about it.
Let me start by saying I've never made bank on Phrendly. My best month ever was about $500 and that was a long time ago. These days, I make about $50 a month, sometimes more, sometimes less. I started bidding as soon as the feature was introduced. The first few days, it seemed to be working. I was getting messages every day (which is not how it usually goes for me) and I was spending less than I was making. However, after about a week, I stopped receiving messages. Over the last five days, I maxed out my click budget every day with nothing to show for it. I quit bidding because I was about to reach a point where the total money I'd earned from bidding was going to be surpassed by the amount I'd paid to bid.
A big problem with the bidding system, as compared to the one on Niteflirt, is that there is only one way a click can be useful to us: if the guy messages. If he stars us, we get nothing. We can't message him, we can't send him links to goodies or PTVs or entice him to call with free minutes. He clicks, he moves on. We pay and gain nothing.
Edited to add: When bidding started, I could get on the first page of my age group for about $1. By the time I quit, it would have cost me about $5. Right now, it would cost me over $12 with the top few spots being nearly $40. So, bidding now would be an even worse proposition for me.
If one in two guys who clicks messages me (which would be a very, very good rate), at $5 a click, that guy would have to send 15 messages to break even. At the current prices, it'd have to be 35 messages. A huge amount of my conversations don't make it past one or two messages (with many stopping at 10, when they finish their free drink). Also, I definitely don't get one guy messaging for every two clicks.

Apparently they are doing a site-wide review of our profiles and they have new rules I was never notified about, so not sure how I was supposed to know.
This is from their response:
"This includes a profile's description and four words. We reviewed your profile and unfortunately the content in your description/four words was found to be inappropriate.
In order for your profile to be approved, please make sure your written content does not include any of the following:
-Explicit sexual language
-Solicitation of gifts
-Offers for photos or video content
-Context implying meeting in-person
-Any descriptions found to be violating our Profile Policy or Code of Conduct.
We appreciate your understanding and cooperation, and thanks for abiding by our policies!"
It would have been nice to have received an e-mail about this ahead of time instead of messing with my scheduled video chats!
and PS- What are we supposed to do when guys keep bringing up meeting IRL and we've been deflecting for too long and it becomes something where I don't think it's as obvious on the site that it's online only? I've copy and pasted the rules to them where it says it's online only, but they don't seem to sign up knowing that. How long can we deflect before we're complicit in them believing we really ARE going to meet up, as opposed to indulging in the fantasy and saying "oh that would be so fun, can you imagine?" etc ?

It's really hard to deal with, both as a provider and as someone who truly doesn't want to hurt anyone's feelings. You can tell a guy 500 times, this is online only. This is a job. You are literally paying me to entertain you. Our entire relationship is a transaction. But after a while, even knowing all of that, some will start to think that all of those half-assed LOLs, smiley faces, and shared stories are evidence that you want to take things further. Captain Save a Heaux cannot be reasoned with. Sometimes you have to block these people if it gets creepy, or just extinguish that tiny flame of hope in their hearts between your ice cold fingers. Do not be afraid to drop a hard no if beating around the bush doesn't work.

That's why I NEVER stop my campaign. The most I'll do is pause it. It's not taking your cam score in effect. It does that to mine. One time it took about 5 minutes for it to kick in. The second time it took about 15-20 minutes.
It's been two hours and nothings changed.
Rip.
Update (5 min later)
I made a 17$ bid too be on page ten(feeling guilty as hell)
Get a message. Get moved to page 2, and paid 1.60 for the click.

I guess my profile has been flagged cause its asked me twice now to "complete my profile", my description and four words had been taken down because they had the words fetish and kinky in it. I guess this is not allowed now?

Idk this site has been dead for me the last month and a half. I think I've made 4 dollars. I don't even use it anymore bc it's such a waste.
