So when you gals do promoting, do you often get guys who just star you & never actually message?
I'm paying for clicks where this is happening & Phrendly is saying this is normal.
I know the guy doesn't know I'm paying for this, but seriously.
Just wondering.

Very often lol
At this point phrendly is pretty dead.
My best day I got 160 clicks and I made a couple hundred bucks. But that was at the beginning of the month. And most of that was from one guy. Like 75%. lol gotta message him now that I think of it lol. On most days though I get around 20ish clicks, and half of those are qualified clicks. and if I'm lucky I'll get a couple of new customers.
I still promote but not as aggressively as I used too. I just find it overall a waste of money.
Like last year we weren't paying full click price,
there was a good flow of new users, and spending 2-3 bucks per click was worth it.
I can't say it's worth it now. I do stay somewhat active so my scores stay up in case it makes a comeback. Fingers crossed because I really like the ui, and ten min payout.
But this is all just my situation. I'm on at nights, and advertise as bbw, so there's that. But i do have good scores so I don't even know.

Oh, well that sucks. LOL
I only started this PPC last week.
How do you know what your score is & where you are placed b/c there is NO WAY I'm weeding thru 100 pages of girls to find myself LOL
With the campaign it's easy b/c they tell you.
Thanks

You find your scores in campaign breakdown. They breakdown how they get the percentiles in the help section. And it's been explained pretty well here in the thread too.
Those percentiles affect what you pay per registered users clicks. The higher your percentiles the less you pay.
I'm not quite sure how you would find yourself other than going through all the pages if your biddings off. Just place a cent as your bet and you should be able to find out.
And yea it kinda sucks. I have a few regs so I still use it and it keeps my scores relatively stable if I don't bid for the first few pages for a few days or something.
Its very ebb and flow on Phrendly.
Way more inconsistent then it used to be

I just realized something that seems very unfair to me about the campaign.
The Phrendly sort page shows only ages 25-45 or somethign like that. So that means if a woman is 46 a guy won't see her on that page but she can still bid for a spot in the campaign and
have her picture and profile promoted. They send out 2 or 3 pictures and ask the guy to choose one.
But that woman isn't getting hardly any clicks that she has to pay for as she is not showing up on the page that we are on because she is over 45 .This goes for all people over 45 or under the
25 yr age. The under 24 we won't include in this because they get so many messages they can afford to pay the clicks they get charged.
So being older but not over 45, we can get 5 or 6 clicks at once and no messages yet these people are still active in the campaign to be promoted but aren't being clicked on unless the guy chooses
them out of the photos he is given to choose from.
So they aren't paying for very many clicks.
I was trying to figure out how these people were staying on the first page of the campaign all the time with really high bids. I don't usually bid high and when I did I almost paid more than i made as it wasn't
a busy day. But these women are bidding these high amounts everyday. So this is why, they aren't getting clicked on as they don't show up on that page (unless the guy changes the age slider and most new
guys don't even know what they are doing so they don't touch anything) So they can afford to bid that high if they are only paying for one or two clicks when they are promoted by Phrendly.
This seems very very unfair to me when I am paying numerous clicks and not getting messages for them. And when they get a click it's only when the guy messages them after being shown the 3 or 4 photos by
Phrendly and he chooses them . Or more rarely he does an age search and clicks from that.
If I didn't explain it perfectly sorry. This is the only way I can explain it today :-)
I am also getting that thing where guys ask right away where are you from or give their social media or number without even saying hello. It's annoying because they are a bit rude if they don't like your answer.
I just tell them the same place every single time so that I don't get caught up in a lie in case he makes 2 accounts. And then I change the conversation to something more fun. LOL

Yeh, I can't go searching thru tons of pages to try & find the info to figure out the percentiles.
That's why I don't like this forum. Forums aren't meant to have only one thread for EVERY question. It's supposed to be a different forum for each topic/site, etc., then each person starts a new thread when they have a question so they are easy to find & read.
Anyway, I barely get any guys & I've already lost money by buying drinks to continue the campaign, so this will be my last attempt at it.
Thank you

No, I didn't really understand what you were saying even though I think you explained it well LOL
So b/c I'm over 45 instead of me being showcased by myself, I'm showcased with 2 other girls? Is that what you are saying?
I just don't get why a guy would click on a pic & then not star or message you. Or star & I respond & he doesn't message.
Obviously he has the money, or maybe it's b/c he has his cc on file, but doesn't want to spend the money b/c he thinks we will message him first?
The profiles are bare. I have almost no text in my profile b/c they don't allow a lot, so WTH is he even looking at that makes him decide not to contact me??? LOL
Thanks for your help.

I mean all the info you need is in this forum. And if this site went based on your idea it would be convuleted with people asking the same question over and over. Because that's exactly what happens in this thread. Go back and read. I've answered the question you asked more than once, and so have others. You just need to loo. This whole thread has EVERYTHING you need to know. None of us can tell you do x,y,z. You need to research and make your own decisions. Unlike what it may seem like, this work is WORK. You need to understand the platforms your using, especially if you're spending money on it.

When I'm signed onto the app I always have my age settings to search and star from 20-99. When I sign off and sign back in it's automatically at 19-30. Does anyone else notice that happening to them? I'm curious to know if when guys sign on the same thing happens and they don't realize it. It took me a while to realize that was happening myself.
I'm quoting myself to show Katydiamond I realized this last summer and totally forgot about this. I wrote them now telling them this isn't right. It's not fair to the people who aren't 19-30.

How do you know others are bidding high or any certain amount? The bid prices next to others names that you see in your campaign page are not what those people are paying, it's what You have to pay to get that spot. The prices you see does not reveal what others are paying. The price for any given spot is dependent on your score, so you might see $2 to take spot 10, but the person occupying that spot currently whose name you see next to that price might be paying $0.03/click because their score is better than yours.
It is my understanding that the age range you see in your campaign is based on your own age and that the Phrendly formula default sort is not a set age range, rather it's dynamic dependent on your age - you can see your phrendly formula sort age range in "score breakdown". It won't be the same for everyone and obviously the age ranges overlap. There are other settings that have a higher impact whether you show up in default sort or not (such as call price, relationship speed and more - if you change anything like that from the default, you're not in phrendly formula sort anymore).
RE what ep2002 said about why guys decide not to write:
Everyone receives q-clicks from guys who never write, it's par for the course. Guys click profiles to check for new pics beyond your profile pics, too, no intention to write you. Most people who star you won't have any sips to spend, hence why starring back results in nothing most of the time. I don't know what you mean by "obviously he has the money"?
Again it is my understanding: that you don't have to click a profile to star a profile, and without a guy having initiated a chat you don't know the name of the person making a qualified click on your profile, therefore you can't know that qualified guys are clicking AND starring you and then choosing not to write to you. All you know is there was an anonymous q-click. Without a chat being initiated which would reveal the name in your "Clicks" tab, you don't know which if any of the guys who star you are actually qualified people with a credit card on file, let alone with available sips (credit card on file doesn't mean the guy necessarily have sips available to spend, I think). There is nothing to say that the q-clicks you receive and the stars you receive are from the same people.
Sorry if I misunderstood the points you guys were making.

From my understanding, what katydiamond is talking about is when you sign out of the app and then sign back in, the age search is automatically set to 19-30 years old. It doesn't matter what you had it set for before you signed out which means that if it's like that with all people (not only with the new guys but also existing customers) they're searching that age range and probably not even realizing it. I wrote to phrendly telling them that it's not fair to the people over 30 years old. All they said was that my suggestion will be delivered to the product development team. Everyone over 30 should be emailing phrendly to complain about this. I realized this last summer and then forgot about it. No wonder it's basically dead for me.

I refuse to bid on there because of the age slider default - I spoke to Jamma about the age slier when the site first opened and the payoff for me would not be worth the bid cost

But most people don’t actually log in and out every time they use an app, for example I have my search set for the full age range in order to star everyone 18-99, the sliders remain at my chosen setting everyday. The only time it has reset is when I’ve deleted the entire app and then re-added it in order to clean space in my phone as the app takes up a lot of space the more you use it. (Since the app isn’t in the App Store right now I wouldn’t recommend deleting it right now though).
Whats your reason to ever log out of the app? If you’re logged out you won’t receive notifications and respond quick enough so no wonder your score won’t be good?

The app doesn’t reset to 19-30 for me by the way, if I select “clear all” in search my default age range in the sliders is based on my age so the range I see per default is Not 19-30, which makes me think what I said earlier is true - Phrendly formula sort is dynamic according to a users age. In terms of not being visible to every guy if your age range isn’t within his default search range based on his own age - well that’s just the same as any dating/hookup app and let’s not forget Phrendly tries to mimic in appearance online dating without the part where you go offline. There’s an age range preset for you to match up with people of similar age give or take and if you’re open to people outside that range you have to set those search parameters yourself. Seems fairly standard?
I do see quite a wide range of ages of guys but Mostly it’s late teens and early 20s guys, so why would anyone in their 40’s/50’s think they would ever have a lot of matches on this site? Even if you’re featured and visible you’re listed next to younger women so of course the competition makes it harder if you’re older?

All I'm saying is what I experience, what someone way younger than me experiences, and someone who's older than me experiences. For us it automatically searches for guys who are only 19-30 unless we reset it. If I was a guy who just signed up I wouldn't know how to, or maybe not even think about, choosing an age range.

I know approximately what other people are bidding because I have compared numbers with people who had similiar scores as me and higher scores than me. After bidding for ages it's not hard to figure out.I know how much a few people pay compared to me, and their scores, which rarely change much according to them, so I know how much more they are paying than I am. So I can approximate how much someone near them or beside them is paying.
Also bid the same as someone then go to another web browser and see if you are ahead or below them on the page. That will tell you who has the better score. Or it should. (or get someone with an account like a client to look for you or a friend)
I also know where they will place according to certain bids they place. Not hard to figure out if you really want to. And noone is paying 3 cents a click who is on page 1 or 2. Ask them.
Someone who used to come here collected so many scores from other people she should be able to predict it 100% by now.
Also if you have one low percentile score and and then it goes up a lot , Phrendly will then lower another one that was consistently 98 or 99th percentile with my own account as an example, so that you still don't end up getting lower prices for bids. This has happened to me numerous times as I have one consistently low score and I can predict that when it goes up which other score goes down. IT even goes to the exact same amounts each time although the situation is different each time.
Most of it is predetermined and set up so why stress over it.
Since most people, unlike me, don't use real names or profiles on here, I truly wonder who some of the people answering these posts are. I know a couple of people definitely have duplicate accounts. Some showed up out of nowhere after others disappeared and sound very similiar with a few changes of course. So if girls are doing that , then even Jamma could still be here. LOL

I'm still not getting any alerts and I'm constantly on my phone lately. I don't know what it is.

<<<<
But most people don’t actually log in and out every time they use an app, for example I have my search set for the full age range in order to star everyone 18-99, the sliders remain at my chosen setting everyday. The only time it has reset is when I’ve deleted the entire app and then re-added it in order to clean space in my phone as the app takes up a lot of space the more you use it. (Since the app isn’t in the App Store right now I wouldn’t recommend deleting it right now though).
Whats your reason to ever log out of the app? If you’re logged out you won’t receive notifications and respond quick enough so no wonder your score won’t be good?>>>>>>
A lot of my clients log in and out especially if they are using it on their phone one time, a computer at work another time. And a lot of them are married/have gfs so can't stay logged in. I've had some make entirely new accounts for that reason. They had to delete the old one. And the age resets to the default everytime you refresh the page. Mine never stays at 18-99 if i set it at that to view women's profiles, I tried it on 3 browsers. You are very unusual if yours does. Which browser do you use? It always goes back to 26-45 which is the range it picked for me at the beginning when i'm viewing women to see what spot I'm in.
How can you compare what a 26 yr old earns to a 45 yr old???? there is over 21 years there. Then they have a lot of overlapped groups like 31-40, etc. Why? The app is favorable to the young people definitely. The 26 - 31 yr olds have the top percentile score in the group mine is set to I'm guessing.
I've seen some older people do well but only when they are new. After that they change their age, like someone who was constantly on page 1 just did, then their photos, like she just did, then they might leave for a bit and come back, as a few people did. Once you are no longer new you won't do as well no matter what age you are.
Also anyone can download the app if they get the link from someone who has it and they install Test flight on their iphone. If you have it and buy a new phone before the fall you will have to reinstall it that way. Or if Phrendly has emailed you the link. If anyone needs it they email every new update to me so i'd be happy to give you the most current version. They expire after a few months as most test versions do. (they do send information from the app to Phrendly though so if you like your privacy 100% don't use it. It's mostly technical data they download, but we don't really know if that is all or not)

They made a new app and added things to it and are improving it. When you make an app it goes through a beta testing period and that's where the Phrendly app is now.
You can download the test versions from the appstore. Write to support and ask them to send you the link. You will have to download the Test flight app too to be able to
install the Phrendly beta app.
See my post above for more info. on it.

Reason I was asking is because I just bought an ipad Saturday and I was thinking about switching to an iphone too but when I look in the app store and didn't seen phrendly I changed my mind. Ive always had an android phone and I have the phrendly app on my samsung s10 now.
Is the app for iphone better then the app available in the google play store?

I see others mentioning not getting alerts. I just had to restart my Chrome as all of a sudden there was no noise when I was getting a message.
The issue must be on their end even though I'm on a PC & you guys are on mobile.
Question - how much do we get when they send us pics?

A pic isn't different from any other message.

$0.35 like every other text so if you're sending nudes or anything risqué be sure to ask for a gift first.

Does "Darn! This person is not reachable" ALWAYS mean that the person blocked you? Or is it possible they just closed their account?

Sorry if I missed this somewhere - but I cannot for the life of me figure out how to change my prices?? I looked on the app and also on desktop and can't find it. It's set really low now so I've gotta fix that lol.
Thanks ladies :)

In the app, it's under "Payout Info" which you can find by clicking on Settings (the gear icon on the bottom right), then "View More Options" (which is right at the bottom of the settings screen), then "Payout Info" (the sixth option from the top).

So I haven't lived in the US since I was 14 y/o & a few years ago I lived in Vegas, but didn't get out much.
Every time I look at the pics of these guys they almost ALL look very very old even if they are young. An 18 y/o can look like he's in his late 20's. WOW.
Even if you are in your 40's you shouldn't look like you are 60. Geeze.
I know that by & large (please don't take offense) Canadians are more attractive than Americans (even a guy once told me this years ago although I already knew this), but I'm just wondering what you gals think about the look of the guys on Phrendly. Are they the normal average look for guys in the US?
I know a tons of them have beards which always makes you look older, but it's not just that. They look VERY rough.
Could be the smoking or drinking which of course ages you, but I don't know.
I also think it's b/c of all the toxins/poisoins in the US which makes me NOT want to return to the US due to health reasons & obviously I don't want to age quickly.
Canada has some toxins, but compared to the US which is a manufacturing country that spews tons of pollutants, they glyphosate, the water is VERY VERY bad, then there's the chemtrails, & now 5G. Geeze :(

I've been to Canada 15x and though the men dress better... Yeah... As someone who is currently traveling internationally (and this may be biased), Americans still look more physically attractive, to me facially. We just dress sloppy. Of course since traveling I can appreciate the beauty of different cultures and men. International cities bring in all sorts so I agree, Canada has some hot men but J guess I still think Americans look better facially.
To answer your questions, I'm not on phrendly to judge how attractive the men are. I barely even look at them, just the star next to their faces. I'm solely on phrendly and all apps for the money. I don't care if they're old, young, polluted, or hot. Are they giving me money?????

This wasn't about money, it was a general question about age vs how a person looks.
We'll just agree to disagree.

I guess you're opening a topic of conversation that is irrelevant to the usage of Phrendly since it's about money so the fact the men for the most part are truly the bottom scrapes of the barrel is neither here nor there. That said, the sheer amount of crazy level fug on phrendly still surprises me to this day, and the fact there are SO MANY of them out there Actually trying or thinking they have a chance to find any woman (let alone an attractive woman) that would be interested in them .... shocking.
I've no strong opinion on whether the US has an unusual amount of extra ugly people (men and women) but it would certainly seem that way if scrolling through the male and female sections of phrendly. Phrendly might not be the best cross section of the population though lol But pollutants, hormones in the water and all the shit in the food is definitely something you're not the first person I've heard quoted as reasons Americans are ugly and the women look masculine etc.
In spite of all that I have quite a few young cuties on phrendly who I talk to regularly, and a fair few who come through for a while amongst all the heinous inbreds and then quit - but as I said at the start, I couldn't care less about what they look like, they have a dollar value. And besides, there are lots of these unattractive guys who are nice and fun to talk to so that kind of works out given Phrendly is not about meeting.

I downloaded Phrendly a few days ago and literally no one has messaged me, but I got starred by a dude whose profile says that *he* is looking to get paid and will do anything you want. Are there guys making money off this app?
Also, is the traffic dead nowadays or am I just ugly? I feel stupid for waiting so long to download it.

I've never been particularly successful on Phrendly. In 2017, I made $1700. In 2018, I made $700. In 2019, I've made $40 so far. For me, it's almost completely dead and has been a steady decline since about 6 months after launch.

I was sitting at under $10 for like 2 months now. I finally reached that $10 minimum yesterday and again today. I'm not getting my hopes up yet on Phrendly making a comeback.

It's become crazy oversaturated in the last year & a half sadly. I can't even afford to bid anymore bc I don't get messages like I used to & I refuse to pay for bidding out of my own pocket. The few regs I do have left thankfully make it worth it to hop on when I need the quick cash for food, gas, shopping whatever.
I've also noticed a lot of the higher earners complaining about the lack of high spenders on there dying out. maybe it will come back like before but who knows.

I was making bank on this site. And then poof.
I have a couple regulars that message me here and there, and I do still bid at night.
I know there's some traffic, but there is no way in hell I'm paying more then 3.00 bucks to be on the front page.
the traffic isn't there for that.
I remember last year I would get hundreds of clicks and make hundreds of dollars a day, and now if it's a good day it'll be like 50-80 clicks. Bad day like 20.
And it's mostly dude's who don't know they have to pay.
I have like an 85% customer retention rate but most of the guys who message me dip once they run out of free sips.
So I have no idea how they get that number.
meh, if I didn't know better I would have stopped bidding all together.
But I still have hope that it will pick up again and I don't want my lvs all fucked.

Same here.
I just had a guy tell me he wanted to video, I got ALL dressed, then he asks how much it is, when I tell him how to see, he says he can't afford it.
JFC.
Then he wants a pic. I said send me a gift bb & he disappears & blocks me LOL
I've actually made more in the last several months than in the whole previous year, but that's still only around $100.

That's all I wanted to know, is whether this is the typical type of guy in the US or is it just Phrendly.
When camming & I could see the guys (lots of times you can't) most didn't look like the ones on Phrendly, so I was just wondering.
Thanks for your opinion.

JFC, twice now I respond back to a guy a few hours later, & I assume he's blocked me since it won't go thru. These guys on this site are TERRIBLE.
Why, b/c I didn't respond the MINUTE they texted me?
Like they think that we are here just waiting for them every single sec of the day?
And one time a week or so ago just as I was about to go on cam with the guy, my computer locked up & I couldn't type. By the time I rebooted & was back like what, 3-5 mins. later, the guy had blocked me.
Anyone else having these issues with these guys?
I would thik that guys who know they ARE paying for company would be way more insecure & pissed off if we don't respond right away, but it's the exact opposite. My other site's guys understand these things happen, & I don't think I've ever been blocked b/c of it. They may disappear thinking I've ghosted them when I haven't, but I've never been blocked.
