they dont allow any tangible goods.

@coco789 : no we do not provide customers your email because it might be personal/sensitive information. We're thinking of making it easier for customers to reach out to you, but we'll make sure to ask for your express approval whenever we're asking for information which may be communicated with the public.

OK, was sent a survey for myindie shop today. I guess they are only selecting 5 stores to begin to test things, pretty sure my twitter following and sales are too low to be selected, hope they have this open to everyone soon!

One thing that I would love to have that seems to be missing is paid messaging where I can attach a pay-to-view note, and would love to put video or photo also in a package, (would love to do this also without having to zip the files).

I can put a note on the description of a photo or video of course but for my domme work my submissive customers want tasks and instructions they can purchase, and it defeats the purpose if they can see it without paying.

Seems Indiebill doesn't reply here any more so was wondering if anyone here figured out a way to do this or some kind of workaround? I'm going to suggest they add it but in the meantime was considering saving a text file as a jpg and selling that, but I hate to have to go through all that.

You can create a payment page with a word document included for instructions. I just tested it out and it worked. Or if you want to make the instructions look fancy create a jpg. with picmonkey. Something like an 800x600 image could be a good size to go into the pay to view part.

Unless it's changed I believe it's 300 for tribute, 400 for Skype shows.

So is it ok if I sign up even if I haven't set up my other clip site accounts? I haven't released any content on any of my platforms since I'm working on rebranding. I already have a regular Indie Bill account But it's a blank slate. I'll be releasing videos once the new year rolls through.

It will be blank initially, but as you add videos to IndieBill you will be able to choose to display them to myindie.shop

A question to experienced models/producers: Do you often receive tips/tributes from customers? If so, how much on average are they ready to pay.
I fully understand that it all depends on a model, customers, etc etc (not interested in this discussion), just would like to figure out some sort of an average and realistic figure to put in a tribute page, the link to which I will be sending to my customers in my weekly newsletter.

What if you put several amounts of money as options? Starting from a smaller one to a higher range? I know that s what I did.

If you guys could get that shopping cart set up and now with the new "Myindystore" offer the ability to add a blogging section without creating a product. OR the product section shows more characters allowing for at least 300 words and clickable titles like a blog format. I suggest this because now it appears that what models write will be searchable in google? So for those who don't want to get their own website can use this more extensively.

My historical partner (and CTO) has left the business recently to pursue other opportunities - we were both unhappy about the pace at which IndieBill was getting new features. There's now a team working with me and ensuring an extremely smooth transition, I can already feel we're rolling out changes much much faster than we used to! :) Shopping cart is definitely a top priority.

I'm not sure what you mean about the 300 words product section?

We'll be rolling out full fledged websites again shortly, but this time which you can update directly without our assistance:)

@malika29: besides shopping cart / websites, we're mostly focused on "internal" features so our operations run smoother, such as fighting fraud / better moderation / speeding up activations & support etc. Once those are completed we'd like to give a go to recurring payments & helping independent models get more customers (promotional tools).

The maximum amount client can tip/tribute should augment soon yes, because we're installing a smarter way of keeping fraudsters at bay (until then big transactions represent too much of a risk).

To be honest, I'd love we create such a blog yes - and hope we can get to it some day. I feel the industry misses an high quality information source: when reading a mainstream blog article, I usually feel I'm learning something - when reading an adult blog article, I usually feel someone really wanted to earn that affiliation fee.. I've only found http://adult-income.com/ from Sinna which I really appreciated.

However, we first need to get IndieBill out of its Beta version and not lose focus!

When I mentioned the 300 words I was referring to place where models write their product descriptions. How many words can fit in that space? It would be nice if they could write blog post there that will help with seo. Google would be able to detect the descriptions and those myindystore pages would start to appear in searches.

On Myindie.shop only the first few lines appear so that it does not break the design. However, later on we will add the Product page & checkout directly onto the myindie.shop domain (instead of redirecting to IndieBill) so that it's better for your customers & SEO of the store.

@Sexysusie: If I understand correctly, you'd like to get an indie shop? If so, can you drop us a line in the live chat saying so? I will assign it to the team mate handling store creations :)

Anyone having trouble with transactions not showing this week? I'm thinking maybe it was flagged by his bank for fraud, maybe because of the holidays and them being more cautious?

Ordinarily I'd figure it was someone trying to get a free show but this guy buys a show every week. He said it looks like he was charged and gave me a transaction number. No support available from Indiebill for another 3 hours, waiting for an answer but just wondering if anyone else is seeing this?

Yes.My regular made 3 transactions last night and they do not appear in my account.However he received emails with the confirmation.It must be a system error.

I asked them about it on the 24th when I didn't see it come through and got an email awhile later that there is some sort of bug in the system that payments are not going through. He said the payment was captured though so I guess once they get it fixed we get paid.

It's the 27th today now and still no money. I did the show because this guy does a show every week and I didn't want to lose him as a regular, plus he forwarded me the transaction number so he did actually pay. Here's hoping they fix this soon.

I had my regular trying to pay again but this time he couldn't anymore.It kept saying that they have an error and they cannot process the payments.The bad part is that Indiebill admins take more than 3 days to see the messages.
I'm sure we'll be paid though.

Yes I'm sure they will work it out but taking 3 days is concerning. It puts me in a very awkward position with my customer when I cannot reach support right away in having to question him and he felt like I was trying to scam him or calling him a liar.

He paid for sure.My regular is a submissive so he won't dare to lie to me with such things.As for a response from Indiebill....we will have to wait.I have messages sent to them for more than a week(about something else) and they still did not read them.

There has been an issue on the 24th of December for approximately 10 hours during which some orders did not work properly.

I send you below the sales, where the payment was received, but you are unable to see them amongst your sold items.

I must say I am getting a bit disappointed with IndieBill as of lately. Have been using it again lately and they are VERY late with sending payments. They also dont respond to inquiries, very disappointing.

I agree with your disappointment on payment timing. They have been really late on payouts and it kind of kills the convenience factor in the system. And I'm not interested in signing up for daily pay with BM. I just wish payout was more timely.

They aren't US based, there is no 1099 from them. You would file it on your Schedule C under "Other Income", just list the site name and how much you received.
