Depending on what you are using Indiebill for, Project Maenad might work.

Gerald has told me that since the changes on the company payments will take up to 7 days to get out being 7 days the max lenght of time.

I asked them about it on the 24th when I didn't see it come through and got an email awhile later that there is some sort of bug in the system that payments are not going through. He said the payment was captured though so I guess once they get it fixed we get paid.
It's the 27th today now and still no money. I did the show because this guy does a show every week and I didn't want to lose him as a regular, plus he forwarded me the transaction number so he did actually pay. Here's hoping they fix this soon.
I had my regular trying to pay again but this time he couldn't anymore. It kept saying that they have an error and they cannot process the payments. The bad part is that Indiebill admins take more than 3 days to see the messages.
I'm sure we'll be paid though.
Yes I'm sure they will work it out but taking 3 days is concerning. It puts me in a very awkward position with my customer when I cannot reach support right away in having to question him and he felt like I was trying to scam him or calling him a liar.
Got this just now
December sales issue
Hello ,
There has been an issue on the 24th of December for approximately 10 hours during which some orders did not work properly.
I send you below the sales, where the payment was received, but you are unable to see them amongst your sold items.
Date Order ID Item Bought Paid amount Customer email
2017/12/24 # 1 year - PREMIUM SNAPCHAT… $
The sale will show up on your earnings early January because the developer is currently on Holidays. Please know that besides this momentary issue, everything else worked perfectly.
Sorry for the inconvenience,
Kind Regards,
It appears this is happening again. Yesterdays transactions went through just fine but today I'm not getting emails, nor are they appearing in my dashboard. Luckily these guys are willing to show me screenshots but damn. Something else is really crazy about their order history too. It doesn't show in chronological order?
2018/1/21
2016/4/4
2017/12/2
2018/2/5
and so on.

Can you have more than one account on IndieBill? I produce French speaking videos and I would like to have a separate account for my French speaking clients.

Indiebill is just basically a billing service. It would be up to you to provide translated sales pages for your clients.

Well I was thinking about selling some of my french videos on IndieBill but I don't want my french videos to be mixed with the rest of my stuff on my public listing page. It could make my English speaking clients go away. That's why I would prefer having a different account to be able to make a new public listing with all my french content.

There's no listing page from what I know. You use them in conjunction with web pages you create and control.

You only have one listing. When you create an item for sale or a tribute page, you can choose whether or not to display it on your listing page. If you don't want it to appear on your listing page, you can still link people to it directly.
That means you could put all your English videos on your listing and not your French ones, but the French ones couldn't be grouped together on a different listing. You'd need a second account which I'm not sure Indiebill allows. Try contacting them and explaining what you want and they might be able to work something out.

You can have two IndieBill accounts. I understand what you're getting at. I have one for me, myself and cammodel ventures. But I also have a second account for providing marketing services and "non me" ventures. This way you can have two separate names that aren't connected. I mostly use it as a back up. Unless things have changed you'll only need to create a new account with a different email address to get started.

Thanks for your answer, I'll make a second account.
I wish we could hear more about IndieBill administration... when are we going to be able to make a website with them, what are their plans for the future, etc.

You can still create a website and link it to IndieBill for payment processing.
They are not making sites anymore from scratch for models. When they were doing that, they were also having big delays in accommodating other's needs and inquiries so they pulled the plug off. I read that they MIGHT still do it for very established models there.

I have a bit of a running wishlist for indiebill. We're aware that you guys are currently tackling the beast that is CMD, but there are a few things IB desperately needs when you get the chance.
1. A reoccurring billing option. -Many of us would love to be able to give our customers the option of purchasing items such as snapchat or kik monthly.
2. Folders for our videos/photo sets. - It would be lovely to be able to post in labeled folders. (almost) all of us have customers that are buying specific things only & giving them the ability to find things quickly would make everyone's lives, well, easier!
3. Custom video pages. -Hear me out on this one: Being able to send people to a pre-made page where they can select length and any add on's the model may offer would be insanely nice. As it stands now, half of the customs require special tribute pages because Willy Wankwank not only wants a 15 minute video, but he wants his name used (upcharge), specialty items purchased for said video (add on), & for the video not to be available to anyone else (upcharge again). At the same time, Bobby Bigknob just wants a 10 minute but is willing to pay an additional $50 to have it within 48hrs (add on). It just gets overwhelming to constantly have to create tribute pages when we could just direct them to a page where they select a time & the additional services they want.

Yup to all of this. I have payment pages for odd amounts like $82 or $111 for that reason above. Pages that most likely I won't use again. They're just sitting there taking up space.

They aren't US based, there is no 1099 from them. You would file it on your Schedule C under "Other Income", just list the site name and how much you received.
Ah, I was unaware that a company had to be U.S. based for a 1099 form. But they should be aware of that, no? When I asked about it, they said they would fill out the form if I send it to them (and haven't gotten back to me for a while now).
They didn't say this, which, if they have a lot of U.S. performers then they should know to tell me this.
Also, I'm worried that will look sketchy on my taxes, having made a lot of money through them and it being listed under "other income".
I don't know what red flags are for the IRS but no one wants an audit...

They probably told you that because they didn't understand exactly what it is.
IRS doesn't care how much sketchy income or even the source you put there, they only care if you don't report income. You could put "Cocaine Sales Profits, $55,000, Donkey Prostitution, $140,000, Embezzling $33,000" on your schedule C and they won't bat an eyelash. By law they can't even share that info with another law enforcement agency unless its a crime in progress.
A red flag would be NOT filing the income from a 1099 another company did turn in on you.
A 1099 is a way for a company that pays you to write you off their taxes as a business expense, that's the primary purpose. The secondary purpose is to make sure the recipient doesn't skate on their taxes either. Without the primary purpose (being a non-US company), there's no reason for it.

Has anyone received their payout for this period?
This is the first time for me using indiebill. and Honestly i don't think i'm gonna continue using it. it says on the FAQ page that they send payments on the 16th. its 23rd now!
And i've contacted the support twice! and no reply! lol what a joke.
Gonna start looking for alternatives with high revshare.

General question to the ladies on this thread: Signed up for IndieBill today and noticed that the file sizes can be up to 15GB. After uploading videos to SM and C4S and compressing below 1GB, I thought iWC was lenient with 3GB. I do have some clips that were just under 8GB in ProRes before compressing them, but would anyone actually want to download a file that big? I think that's about half the space of a standard iPhone... ProRes looked a little bit better than standard high quality {using iMovie}, but I'm not sure how much customers would notice. That being said, I use handbrake on all my videos because I'm impatient and can't wait 1-2 hours for them to upload. What's the largest file that you would post? Is it worth it to post a huge file in order to completely avoid compromising quality and because the site supports it?

I don't think most guys care all that much about quality or resolution. Some guys will still buy 320x240 as long as the content of the video fits what he's looking for. I think its better to upload smaller files in decent resolution instead of huge files in like 4k resolution because some customers may not be able to watch those huge files due to their internet speed or storage space.

Good point. I was just thinking that I love the idea of sending all my video traffic this way, but I'm gonna need a second external harddrive for one site if I don't compress files. I should've guessed that IB doesn't expect uploads of 15GB, just a high number to advertise. If I ever decide to make a multi-hour long movie, I know one of the only sites I'll be able to post it :)

Disappointed that there is still no shopping cart.
Customers do not like having to do mulitple transactions and I really think it's cutting down on revenue. (sent to Indybill feedback also).

I agree. Also a huge blow to reputation. Some customers even think that there's no cart on purpose - to additionally profit from $0.95 processing fee. It's hard to explain to them it's not the case, and I can't give them any promises to have the cart in the near future.
