Do any of you require at least 4-24 hours notice to get an appointment ? Does it actually work or does it just cut into your bottom line too much ?

I do. I've been told to advertise within an hour before you're ready but I still screen heavily and sometimes don't get back until several hours later.
I'm like you, I like perfection and like things to be perfect and for me, that takes time and planning- and I like full background checks so it takes me a min to get back sometimes.
Also, I've been doing my other eggs so I haven't taken clients in months I think it works but I deny a lot more guys than I actually see so sometimes it can be annoying. Some are impatient and don't like to wait but oh well.

Question about nuru/fbsm on outcalls. For something like nuru should i be bringing a blowup mattress? I don't think a massage table will accommodate body slides...

^ I would honestly recommend NOT doing these as they are such a hassle . At least not below double your usual price *if* you start offering them.

Yeah .... I was able to successfully avoid these female clients that have been coming to the shop. I liked them the first time ( they tipped 20% or so ) .... and last time tipped under 10% so I DON'T want to work on either of them again.

I saw a client that was inquiring for a while. Best decision ever. He was tall, handsome, and extremely complimentary. It was interesting because I saw my new therapist yesterday, scrubbed my house for the spring, let go of a lot of pent up energy and law of attraction gave back with that random appointment.

Hi ladies,
New here to SW but I'm hoping to make some connections with ladies that are in the same industry specifically with BR's...
I have a vanilla job that allows me to have a private suite within a building with other licensed vanilla providers and I'm seriously tempted to set it up inside to where I can accept incalls, but I don't want to risk blowing my cover. It would be incredibly easy to get to for me and would eliminate driving all over town (45+ most of the time) to go to outcall appointments. However, I just don't think it's worth blowing a good thing you know what I mean?
So I keep debating with myself what to wear as far as apparel on my OC's during session? What do you do? I always arrive in professional business casual apparel and I undress to a yoga wear shorts kind of look and I'm topless. I do this because it usually helps deter guys from getting too touchy feely. I've had appointments where I've felt comfortable to be completely undressed and the guy never took advantage as well. So it seems like it might have more to do with the guy rather than what I wear. Anyway, any tips would be appreciated. Also, what are your OC sessions like as far as atmosphere? Is getting a massage table worth it?

If I post the day of, I don't...but I tend to get guys who will scroll through a lot of the women online and then they see me and see my ad (it might be my off day) and they reach out to me and usually we can plan for it within 24 hrs. It's really nice. I really enjoy my clientele.

I think I skirted them this week anyway by saying I had my own customer coming over during their preferred time. I'm not sure if I never want to see either one again ..... but I don't this week anyway. I thought tipping just $10 for 90 minutes was in *very* bad taste.
I'm sorry you had a negative experience with a female client...I actually wouldn't mind developing a female client base (even if the money isn't as good) Being indy, how would you go about advertising to develop a female clientele?

I wouldn't ruin a good thing if I were you. They could have private security footage around the building (or in) or you could mess up by leaving something you shouldn't have, lol. Perhaps you could try and do incalls at a hotel, or save up for a cheap but nice office space or studio?
Yes, I believe a table is well worth the investment. I snagged one off of craigslist (they had 2) for like $75 that was gently used from a massage school auction. They also gave me a shitton of free stuff (tools, extra velcro, etc) and a huge carry bag. The table paid for itself 5x over the day after I got it.
The biggest tip is that the men know the deal as soon as they see the table. Comes in handy when you don't offer 'extras'. They know they're getting a BR and there's no bed to confuse things.

What do you think about that one? I'd feel so goofy carrying that into a hotel though.:O I'd be fine with it going to homes. I love hotels and I hate them all at the same time. Although, if I'm dressed kind of like the woman in the video from the link demonstrating the table and I'm carrying that in, I look legit and totally not suspicious at all riiiight? ;)
I agree, I do know for a fact there is cameras at my studio but what goes on behind closed suites, they would never know. I still don't want to risk it.
I'm really going to enjoy the control I will have with having a table and not being as intimate as being on a bed. I'm not an "extras" kind of girl, (besides the obvious) and I want to keep that boundary from being crossed. What do you think about the way she's dressed in that video?

I think massage tables help a lot in preventing the guys from thinking that extras are on the menu, as a bed would. They are good investments. I've had mine for 5 years. As far as bringing them to hotels, I've personally never done that. I think it would draw too much attention. Bringing it to homes in nicer neighborhoods is fine though. I didn't see the video but I normally wear a T-shirt or cami top and yoga pants. I wear bikini underneath.

Update: I recently started offering fetish massage session upgrades, costing and extra $40 and was a BRILLIANT idea. Particularly popularly are prostate massage and strap-on sessions. I would say, on average, 3/5 clients per day go for thfetish upgrade. I also do foot fetish, golden shower, and domination sessions.
Just an idea for the fetish-friendly ladies!

Another advertising technique that stands outs: I offer lap dancing w the massage and that seems to perk a lot of ears. I took my pole down from my place and set up at my incall, and offer a pole-dancing strip tease in addition when clients book 1.5 hour session.

I'm dipping back into body-rubs after a hiatus, I decided to stop & try stripping {wtf was I thinking}. I've never seen so many disrespectful assholes with a god complex in my fucking life & how hard these women have to work for that money made me really miss body-rubs ALOT.So any-who I technically have to start over build new clients, branding & marketing.I know it's Hot right now but for some reason I'm not that concerned.I always screened like crazy & watch all the wording in my ads.Even quoting a price for a bodyrub {if you're not licensed} can get you in trouble{It's all about wordplay}.
I'm planning to travel & do it for the summer Florida is shit right now.

The thing that is making me not offer many sessions right now are these guys who seems to need so much coaxing and information before booking. It can't ALWAYS be the cops. Some are really just completely clueless and even if you hint that the time to chat more is during the introduction session ...... they PRETEND they don't " get it ".
I'm not sure why these people seem to think that I want would want to meet them when they are so high maintenance! I think these guys are just appreciating this service less and less OR I'm just a lot more impatient.
I have not gone to the parlor in 5-6 weeks ( not because of a falling out or anything ..... just that giving them $30 from each session is steep ).

I just had my once a week faithfully client request a 4 hand session and I tried to push it off on him to find someone but he said he doesn't know of anyone. I'm not one for recruiting. I kind of feel like that might be an unspoken no-no when it comes to making connections with the "competition." I'm all for women power and helping each other out, but not everyone thinks that way.

I used to work with someone in another state that got me started in the industry and we became pretty "famous" on the review sites for our "show".... back when I did other things. ;)
It's a huge help to have an "sister" in the industry.

I def require advance notice to get an appointment, unless you have seen me before or are incredibly easy to screen and then can do something on shorter notice.
I like people who book in advance, they just generally seem to work out better for me, that being said so last min business is always welcome.

^ Same here. If they're easy to screen I'm willing to do short notice. What drives me nuts are the guys who want an appointment at 2pm and it's 1:50pm and you're just like wtf? This guy better have quick and easy verified info or else I'm not bothering to jump on a last minute like that.

Alot of guys are last minute because they expect indy's to work like the spas. Most spas are walk ins, they don't screen & fit them in whenever & on short notice. It's like they don't understand everyone doesn't work like that.I require an hr advanced notice for regs/repeats that's already been screened. And newbies minimum 6-12hrs in advance.

Latest update:
I have a massage table now, purchased a diffuser with essential oils, hot towel warmer, and now all I need is a face cradle cover. I really want to establish a BR clientele without the HE extra. My reasons for doing this is due to the fact my only option for space at this point is where I'm already working out of at my studio for hair. I want to keep everything on the up & up to keep up appearances. I feel like if I create a professional atmosphere that's really inviting & relaxing...I'll be able to do just that. Any tips would be very much appreciated in this new adventure. How is everyone else doing with things? Also, does anyone else offer services such as body scrubs? My cos license allows me to provide services such as that and I would really like to be able to offer those as additional things that can be done.

i learned in the body rub business the less you offer the nicer your clients are and less pushy. I also go nude straight up avoid the upgrade bs! Any doorway you open outside of sensual massage will only give you needier and demanding clients who you have to alter your comfort levels for and usually those clients don't tip either along with texting and asking crazy shit before even booking.Sometimes you stand apart from competition by not being Fetish friendly or offering prostate massage. I always refer clients who want more to an escort who is open to that. I think erotic massage makes married men feel less guilty bc they don't want to cheat fully and those are the clients you want. Don't limit age either younger guys are easy money bc they almost always feel shy around older women and most of the girls they date don't give them body massages and body slides so they usually are rather excited about the service

I appreciate your input love!! I typically did topless due to the fact that whenever I was fully nude I would end up in situations where I'd be doing more than I bargained for. Plus due to my location I think it's best I stay clothed. I've gotten a bunch of fun, sexy athletic tanks that give a nice tease of my cleavage and form fitting athletic leggings to show off my bum.

Thanks for the support! You don't have to say if you don't want to, but what is an average range for a provider that doesn't offer extras? It seems if I make it too low to make it seem like a vanilla session I get losers, but. If I make it too much than the cheap businessmen think I'm a cheap escort. If I make it in the 80 range I also get the guys who try to ask if that's the flat out the door number and you already know what that really means. Then part of me wonders if I should just try to find a place with a shower that's private that I can call my own exclusively where I won't have to walk on eggshells about what happens in the room lol

Yes, being Topless is much safer to be honest ESP if your not offering an upgrade to go nude. I go nude but the rule I use is hands only and fingers do not enter anywhere on my body. I also ask clients that leave reviews on my TER that they make it known it's solely a body rub to keep the pervs from contacting me

That's smart, I love that approach. I'll be sure to do the same. I have a fantastic review already online but I also went a little further than I typically would so I really don't want that review to get much visibility because I don't want to develop that reputation.

So I've yet to have my first appointment. Everyone just wants to inquire, see where I am, etc. etc. I seem to get more legit inquires with outcall. I don't like telling everyone and their grandmother the area of town that I'm in. I don't get specific with addresses of course, but still. I had 2 schedule & no show. I never get flakes. Which sucks, because I really wanted to use my space because I felt like I got it set up really nice and I had the best intentions. :( I do have a full day booked tomorrow so we'll see how many actually show up. I'm starting to explore my options when it comes to passive income with other things until I establish a steady IC clientele.

M_M , the range you listed is right around what I charge ( and most ladies in my area ). Of course, you hope your customer rounds up / tips ect. My best earnings are Outcall ( I've talked about this before ) but they are not for everyone. I personally would rather go to a nice hotel ( and do light screening ) and have *some* risk v.s. always giving SO much money to just the location ( in my new state, it's $30 per hour for just the massage room ).
I haven't worked in MONTHS ( thanks day job for hitting my goals ), but I think I may have to re-surface in the next few weeks ( temporarily ).
I actually placed my ad just minutes ago and I'm already taking a DEEP BREATH and preparing for :
stupid questions
time wasting ( setting up appt and not showing )
I am trying a strategy to maximize my time in the next week. My other business is run 90% online so I'm planning to say in my ad I'm open 9a.m. - 5 p.m. and I'll just go up to the spa and sit there ( they have wi-fi ) hiding out in one of the rooms so I can move my day job sales forward at the same time I'm waiting.

Yes my friend summer only goes Topless too. I'm a nudist at heart so I feel the same Topless or bottomless lol but it's really all what your comfortable with and you will still get clients the same as someone going nude trust me most guys are sketched out just like us and they rather just see the same person then have to go through meeting a new provider. And I am a believer in the less you offer the more successful you will be and actually enjoy what your doing

I am in the beginning phases of starting out as a FBSM provider. Is a massage table required when first starting out? Do you rent a space to accept clients or do you use your own residence? I would have to use my own place to accept clients, renting an office will be too expensive for me at this point. I do know about screening and have already made my own website and will only advertise on paid websites, such as tyst, eros, etc..As for rates, most girls in my area that provide FBSM charge around 225-250 for an hour. I am thinking of starting out with 200 for an hour, since I am just starting out, or is that too low? I know that I can purchase a reasonable massage table on Amazon, if that is going to be more helpful.

I wouldn't start low because you're new - being new is a commodity. You risk attracting guys who can't afford the prices you really want to charge, which could leave you with new regulars who expect you to continue charging $200/hr (and then you could lose those regulars if you increase your prices, or you'd feel pressured to keep charging them that price, which would be draining). I say start on the higher end of where you're comfortable, if there's a good market for that service in your area.

Thank you Charlie61, I changed my rate to a higher rate, will see how things go when I start accepting inquires. I asked this in another thread, but I wish to ask you as well, is it best to ask for a deposit for appointments? I have seen some girls ask for this and others that do not require a deposit.

^ Are you doing outcalls ?
I advise against incall in your own home if AT ALL possible for risk obviously . All it takes it one weirdo or one nosy neighbor to ruin your business. If you are near any business traveler hotels THOSE are where you can expect your outcalls. :)

If you know what you're doing, you can work very comfortably and safely out of your home. I've been doing it with no issues for many years. It all comes down to how you present yourself and the systems you have in place to keep you safe. Doing outcalls is a huge no for me and the quickest way to get arrested. I can see how a newbies or someone with little experience would think incall was more riskier but it's just not true if you know what you're doing. I've never once felt threatened or had anyone show up to my home unannounced.

Im looking to switch back to fbsm from escorting but besides rubratings which is hit or miss, i used to use CL but i dont see anyone using them for fbsm anymore. I'm planning to switch up my socil media once I can convert clients to fbsm as well. Any tips are helpful, thank you

Rubratings has died. I believe they were taken down by the FBI but their website says they were hacked. It's difficult for me to believe that with all the money they were making they are unable to rectify the issue if hackers are the problem. As for whether to advertise on br sites or escort sites, I think you'd be wise to advertise anywhere and everywhere you can right now. Truly, it doesn't matter where you post - what matters is HOW you post, how you adveritse and present yourself and your services...etc I've never used social media for escort or bodyrub stuff so I can't comment on that. And using CL is a no for me.
