I feel about facial hair (scruff, goatees, beards) the way most men feel about women w long hair. It's infinitely more flattering on most men, it takes a pretty hot guy to pull off clean shaven better. Facial hair took my husband from "ok" to "I wanna attack you as soon as I get home from work".
And as long as the guys is in -shape and cleans himself and knows how to dress ok (I'm not asking for a metro fop pretty boy , just a nice fitting jeans and a white tee. No pants falling off your ass or weird clothes that are too small, etc) is what matters most to me, aside from intelligence and personality.

Attractiveness can change. When I first met my boyfriend, I was working at my former vanilla job. I thought, "Ugh, go away, creep!" when he approached me to ask me if I needed help. I didn't find him physically attractive at all. I started noticing that he was always there when I needed assistance, even when I didn't he'd still do things to help. He didn't try to get my number like some of the other guys, nor did he stare at my chest like the other men did, or make pervy comments. The time that I fainted at work, he was kneeling on the floor, wiping my forehead with a cool washcloth and refused to leave my side until he knew that I was okay. Suddenly he became very attractive to me. The more I got to know him the more attractive he became.
