Another thing that refreshes me and makes me feel young is good sleep, and meditation. I consider meditation a time where I spiritually leave this world and I go visit with my angels. I always come back feeling rejuvenated and refreshed. Also I have suffered from anxiety and sometimes still do, so meditations important. Stress will age you like a motherfuker. So try not to stress or worry because worrying does not change the outcome on things.

Do you know of any good resources for meditation that you would recommend?

I also find laughter to help with stress and anxiety; watching funny TV shows, videos, or movies.

I'm the big 4-0 this year.

I spend a lot of time in the sun, so sunscreen is a must.

Getting good rest. I aim for seven hours a night and to get to be around 11:00 PM. Except party nights, then I usually sleep in. ;-)

Exercise I set aside an hour a day, five days a week for exercise and three hours on Saturday or Sunday. I take one day completely off exercise for recovery. This year, I did not do my big outdoor trip. I had planned on going to France and bicycle touring for two weeks. That didn't happen due to Covid. Instead, BF, daughter and I spend the entire summer at our beach house. I did some long rides and long paddle board trips, to sort of make up for France. Maybe next year. Right now, I'm in swim training for a possible Chanel attempt in 2021, but that's still a big question mark due to Covid. Still lots of swimming for me in 21.

Diet. Honestly, red meat is not all that good for you. So, I limit myself there. No fried potatoes, including potato chips. Lots of veggies and hold my caloric intake to about 2000 per day.

Alcohol. I drink a little wine now and then, otherwise, nothing alcoholic.

Smoking. Never have, can't start now.

Marijuana. The jury is still out on that one. I do use some CBD oil for joint pain. However, switching from running and lifting earlier this year to swimming, biking and paddle boarding has reduced the joint pains to nil.

Stress. This is my big downfall. I own and run a small manufacturing business. Lots of people depend on me, and I have not let up one bit due to Covid. I have switched to remote working which saves me some commuter time. But still, it's stressful. So far, nothing has really worked all that well at reducing stress. Next year, I start implementing my succession plan. I have hired and now fully trained my CFO. Next up is a hiring and training a COO. I have a good internal possibility, so that hire/promotion might be easier than the CFO which took six months to locate, hire and train.

Healthcare. Right now, I'm concentrating on getting my workforce vaccinated. Can't really say much more about that.

Sex. Never can get enough of that. But, with Covid, BF and I have been working from home a lot more, so we're doing it a lot more often! Gotta like that.

I'm enjoying the Waking Up app. They even have talks on the philosophy of meditation, which are surprisingly so nice. I really don't like a lot of meditation apps... people's voices often irritate me, and the guided meditations can seem so cheesy. I'll upgrade to the paid version of Waking Up soon, I'm sure.

I just go onto Youtube and look up stuff. I do believe there are meditations that attract physical beauty!

Take care of your necks, ladies! Gold bond has a good and cheap neck cream that gives good results. Nobody likes having a gobble wobble!

Also been popping collages pills and they are working! Again, do it when you're young.

Refusing to buy in to the American cultural norm of working yourself to death and numbing the pain with bad food and tv.

Oh and drinking lots of water!

Doing what I want when I want :) Having a goth/vampire like lifestyle hahah (going to bed when I want & waking up when I want) Having a stressful schedule NEVER makes anyone appear youthful
Lounging around like a queen at my leisure & eating what I want.
Anti aging really is a state of mind just as numbers are. I still moisturize my face and use eye cream, color my hair funky colors and styles & keep my looks up but only bc I want to look cool & feel pretty when I don't dress "my age".

Focusing on your everyday habits. What are you doing every single day, or most days, to support your health and longevity? Drinking green tea once a week isn't going to do much for you. If it isn't a daily or frequent habit, it isn't going to significantly affect long-term results (that's true for both good and bad habits).
